I am alive! I am here to give a much-needed update to a story of mine that was collecting digital dust.

"You're doing good, Percy. Keep it up!" Phoebe said as she slashed her dual daggers at the now older boy dodged them with a few cuts here and there. The child landed on his back and rolled away to get his spear.

He stabbed the spear in the ground, and pole vaulted over his sister. As he landed, he kicked above her knee as she kissed the earth. "You're getting better, brother." She saw him with his hand out as she accepted it. After their training session, everyone gathered around the fire to enjoy their latest hunt. Percy caught the sound of a whining horse with the clomping of hooves.

"Everyone, it is time we go back to Camp Half-Blood." She announced listening to the oldest members complain while the ones that were mortal or the youngest, Percy included, looked at their Goddess curiously. "I am doing this for Percy and for the youngest of our sisters." The group nodded their heads and ate their meal of cooked bear meat.

Many hours later, Percy heard someone opening his tent and saw Phoebe telling him they were leaving and helping him pack his things. With the sun welcoming them, the group left the camping area and left the forest to start their five-hour hike to Half-Blood hill. While walking Percy asked Zoë what was special about the camp.

"Camp Half-Blood is a safe-haven for demigods, such as yourself and a few of us. It's also a time to recruit any sisters to join our cause. They have a cabin for each of the Olympian Gods, not including the ruler of the Underworld." The daughter of Atlas told him as the group walked through a stream with a naiad bowing to the boy's presence. Artimes noticed, pressed a finger on her lips with the water spirit, understanding the silence.

Upon reaching New York, Percy asked to visit his mother's grave. Artemis allowed him as the group rested by a tree and gave him privacy. Kneeling at his mother's grave, they saw a form erupting from a tree's shadow. As her adopted son kept talking to his mother's headstone, the shadowy figures' lips moved as mist formed at Sally's grave with her spirit rising from the dirt.

Tears fell from his face as he went to hug his mother, only for her form swift and swirl around his arms. "Momma… how?" Tears fell to the dirt as his mother's eyes drifted to the figure, seeing his head nod.

"Let's say a friend of yours allowed me to see you. You've grown up. Are you eating healthy and are you making any friends?" She asked, wanting to get close to her son. Percy told her of the past three years with the Hunters of Artemis. "Can I talk to her please, your new mother."

"Sure. I miss you, Momma."

"I miss you too, Percy. I love you, son."

"I love you too." He walked over to his family, sniffling, and told Artemis she needed to talk to his departed mother. Artemis told her group to go ahead to the camp and that she would catch up later.

Walking to the ghost of her son's birth mother, she noticed the tree's shadow rippling with energy before disappearing. Sally bowed to the Moon Goddess as she opened her mouth. "Thank you for watching over my son, Lady Artemis. Does he know of his heritage yet?"

"Not yet. I am waiting until the time is right to reveal he is Poseidon's son. He is growing up into a wonderful person and is starting today at camp. He has grown closer to Phoebe than the others. And I am glad I took your child into my group, I've always wanted a son." A tear fell down the deity's face as the birth mother's spirit did the same.

Artemis soon excused herself and Sally's soul descended, entering Elysium. Artemis met her group, seeing a colossal pine tree, pulsing with magical energy. She heard cries of kids, a son of Hermes, cursing the gods with him holding a small girl with golden curls escaping her gray hat, wearing a tear stained shirt.

"MiLady, your sister, she's been-"

"Turned into a tree, to protect the borders of this camp. I feel Father's magic at play here." The deity ordered her hunters to enter the camp, and they met with Chiron and Mr.D.

The venture bowed to the group as did the campers. "Lady Artemis. A pleasure to see you at our beloved home as always."

"Thank you, Chiron. It's a pleasure. This is my son P-" the sound of the stables interrupted Artemis as the pegasus flew in the air, circling the Hunt like vultures circling their meal. When their hoofs touched the ground the lake and erupted into geysers. The geysers arched toward the group. When the water touched the earth, an army of naiads strolled toward the group and bowed to the adopted son of the Hunt.

"All hail Lord Perseus Jackson. Son of Sally Jackson and Lord Poseidon, and brother of Lord Triton. Long live prince of the sea."
