A few days had past since the frustrated snake encounter. Nate hadn't seen Katie since that day, do to their argument about the dangers of taking on the wicked.

However, elsewhere, Ben and Draggie were sitting on top of a building roof eating ice cream.

"Well that battle against Unkaind sure was epic," Draggie said.

"You said it," Ben agreed, "I got to say that wicked beast mode was cool,".

"Easy for you to say, the snakes didn't give you a funny look," Draggie said, feeling a little annoyed.

"Yeah, sorry about that," Ben said sheepishly, "Still, it's very interesting for a yokai to have more than one form that's not a evolution or fusion?".

"Yeah, imagine if all yokai had two forms," Draggie said after licking the ice cream, "Like a light side and a shadow side!".

"Real subtle Draggie," Ben said with amusement.

"You know it hehe," he chuckled, before finishing the sweet, "Though, are you sure that was a good idea, dropping that riddle to those kids?" Draggie said, "Isn't this how we got in trouble last time?".

"That was pure coincidence," Ben said, though he sounded a bit off, "They'll probably not figure it out anyways, well just focus on stopping the wicked, yeah,".

"You okay Ben?" Draggie asked, noticing something was bugging his friend.

"I just don't understand, normally I should feel like wanting to obliterate the wicked for what they did," Ben explained, "Yet, I can't feel the rage that once dwelled in me,".

"Well, maybe since you were able to get me back, you don't have a reason to be angry anymore?" Draggie suggested, "It just means your maturing and becoming a better person,".

"You really think so?" Ben asked.

"Sure," Draggie replied,

"Thanks partner," Ben said, before seeming like he noticed something "Well, erm ,there's been something else on my mind lately,".

"What is it?" Draggie asked.

Ben then whispered something into the young dragon's ear.

"What!" Draggie shouted, "Are you out of your mind!?".

"I can't get the thought of doing that out of my head," Ben explained.

"That won't happen, there's no way!" Draggie protested, seeming very mad "We can't try that, it's too dangerous, don't you have any common sense!?".

"I thought you would understand," Ben then ran away, "I'm sorry,".

"Wait, Ben!" Draggie yelled, before getting frustrated, "Who needs you anyways!".

Meanwhile with Katie,

Katie walked done the street near a candy store, before standing triumphantly.

"Alright, time to go find some powerful yokai!" she said before striking a pose.

"Are you sure about this?" Komasan asked, as he, Blizzaria, and Moximus K caught up.

"Of course!" she replied as she clenched her fist, "I need to show Nate that I can take care of myself,".

"My you sure are determined?" Moximus K pointed out jokingly, "Why is it so important that Nate thinks so highly of you?".

"It, just is," Katie said, blushing a bit, "Hey, do you know any powerful yokai Blizzaria?".

"Let me see," she thought for a moment, "Well there is one I know, but,".

"But what? Komasan asked.

"Well she's kind of, different," Blizzaria explained, hesitantly, "Not many have really befriended her yet".

"That sounds perfect!" Katie said with excitement, "Can you show me where she is?".

"Well I don't think," Blizzaria then saw Katie giving her puppy eyes and sighed, "Okay, but don't say I didn't warn ya,".

Later,

Draggie was walking down the street alone, and he didn't look so happy. Unfortunately, the wicked sisters Kin and Gin, who were floating above in the sky, saw this as their chance to mess things up.

"Now to send that Dragon away," Kin said.

"So that the traveler will never interfere," Gin added.

They then started chanting their spell. "Gold, silver, shimmer shimmer, gold, silver shimmer shimmer," they then shot a beam at Draggie. But before it hit, the dragon vanished like an illusion.

"What?!"

"How can this be?!"

Suddenly a dimensional portal appeared behind the evil twins and out of it came two pairs of mechanical owl talons that grabbed the hags.

"Huh, what's this, AAAAAAAHHHH!"

"No, who's doing this, uuuuuuuaaaarrrrghghh!".

The portal then closed after the villains were dragged in. Then not too far away, Ben and Draggie jumped out from their hiding spot, dancing with joy.

"We got em!" Ben cheered.

"See yah suckers!" Draggie cheered, before sticking out his tongue.

"Thanks again for the help Illoo," Ben said after looking at the elderly yokai that had created the illusion.

"No problem hoohoo," he said before floating away.

"I can't believe they actually fell for it," Draggie said, before slapping his leg "Like we would ever get in a fight that bad,".

"You sure you're not mad at me about, well," Ben said sounding unconfined.

"Of course not Ben, I was just pretending to be mad like you asked," Draggie assured, "Pops taught me it's not right to hold grudges, plus I know how much you love to turn evil into good,".

"Oh, thank goodness," Ben said with relief, "Have I ever told you how great of a partner you are?".

"Thanks, but feel free to keep saying it, heehee" Draggie said in a boastful way, before looking down from Ben's hat, "We're still going to beat up them, right?".

"Oh yes of course," Ben replied, "We have to stop them before we can think about my next plan,".

"Cool," Draggie asked, "So what next?".

"I say we interrogate," Ben then pulled out a familiar foe, "This sandal!".

Draggie blinked a few times, "How long has he been in your coat?".

"Not important, now let us proceed to answers!" Ben said dramatically.

The two then smiled, before Ben dashed off to a later location.

A few moments later with Katie,

The girl and her yokai were walking to where Blizzaria said the yokai she had spoken of, slowly approaching the temple that Draggie once lived in.

"You sure about this?" Moximous K asked while flouting next to the girl.

"Why does everyone keep doubting me?!" Katie huffed, "I'm great with befriending yokai, I'll have that rare yokai's medals in no time!".

"Hey I'm not doubting you, I'm just trying to look out for you like a good grandfather," K explained, "It's not like I meant to die well you were in diapers,".

Eventually the group had come to the backyard of the shoten temple. There were a few gravestones and short grass, though it didn't seem as haunting as a graveyard next to a temple as you would think. It was fairly peaceful with the a few bugs crawling around.

"Is this really where your friend is?" Komasan asked as he clinched the pack on his back.

"Doesn't seem like a place for a strong yokai though?" Katie pointed out.

"You home Damona?" Blizzaria shouted.

Then in a few moments, the group were greeted by an emotionless, "Yes,".

Suddenly, a dark wind blew and then the purple gust swirled together, revealing a yokai the looked just like Blizzaria, but had purple hair with a black dress that had a splash of dark whitish black.

"Katie, this is Damona," Blizzaria sighed as she introduced the yokai.

Damona

Charming

Rare

Katie then walked towards the yokai, "Hello there Damona, my name is Katie Forester," she politely said.

"What do you want?" she replied with no emotion.

"Well, I'm trying to find some strong yokai to help my friends stop the wicked," Katie explained, seeming a bit intimidated by Damona.

"So?" she replied, still no emotion.

"Ain't she the life of the party?" K mumbled with sarcasm.

"That's just how Damona is," Blizzaria explained, "She doesn't like to show her emotions,"

"Because I don't have emotions," Damona groaned with no emotion.

"Sure," Blizzaria replied with drawn out sarcasm.

"With your help we can will be able to stop the wicked," Katie explained, "So how about it, will you be my friend?".

Damona studied Katie and soon came to her choice.

Katie was confident that the medal would be her's. However, something then happened that put a large dent in that confidence when Damona said.

"No,"

"What," Katie said, before trying to be cocky, "I think I might misheard you, now why don't you just give me the medal and,".

"No, I won't be your friend," Damona said, even with no emotions almost seeming mad.

"Come on, why won't you give me your medal!?" Katie said in frustration.

"Because, your weak," Damona said.

"What, n-n-no I'm not?" Katie replied, seeming shaken from the yokai's remark.

"Yeah, Katie's the sweetest girl in the whole wide world!" Komasan protested.

"I don't care about sweet, I care about power," Damona explained, before pointing at Katie "I don't sense power in you, just someone who wants to impress her boyfriend,".

"N-nate isn't my," Katie stuttered, before her icy yokai flew in.

"Damona that's enough!" Blizzaria said, trying to protect Katie.

"No, she must know that she is not worthy," Damona said.

"Please, I need your power to beat the wicked!" Katie cried.

"Don't care," Damona then let loose her power, that knocked Katie to the ground with a gust of cold darkness.

Blizzaria then blew the darkness back with her frost winds.

"That was uncalled for Damona!" she scolded.

"How dare you do that to my Granddaughter!" K yelled.

"Whatever, good bye," the rare yokai then disappeared.

"Oh no you don't, get back here witch!" K then disappeared after her.

Katie then got up, her head hanging low. This failure really hurt her since she had never really failed at getting a yokai. She then quietly got up, before starting to walk away.

"Katie wait!" Blizzaria said worried greatly for her friend

"Don't listen to what that varmint!" Komasan said.

"I want to be alone," Katie said, trying to hide her hurt emotions.

"But Katie," Komasan pleaded.

"I said I want to be alone!" she yelled with tears in her eye, which scared the yokai. Katie then looked away and ran, heartbroken at her failure.

The clouds then moved in, making the sky darker and gloomier.

"Wait don't go!" Komasan said as he tried to run after her, but was stopped when Blizzaria put her hand on his shoulder, "But?".

Blizzaria just shook her head, she knew Katie need a moment.

Komasan then lowered his head, understanding that too.

However, what they didn't know, was something was watching Katie from the shadows.

Meanwhile at Frostia's place

Ben and Draggie had tied the wicked yokai Trippapt to a chair.

"You may think you have me, but I will not spill, never!" he proclaimed, "My nonexistent lips are sealed!".

"Can't we just call Tattletail?" Draggie asked.

"No, I don't trust that women!" Ben said, "She might get sneaky and spill something I know,".

"Right, then what do you suppose we do?" Draggie asked, seeming a bit annoyed, but not for long.

"Nothing will break me, never!" Trippapatt said, trying to sound as dramatic as possible.

"Wait, let me try something," Ben then grabbed the wicked sandal and shouted, "Tell us the goods, or I will malice you with a shoe horn!".

"Malice me with a shoe horn?!" he said, clearly freaked out, "Okay, I'll talk, I'll talk!".

"What does that even mean?" Draggie asked, feeling very confused.

"Now what do you want to know?!" the sandal asked, "Just leave the shoe horn out of this!".

"And I thought he was more worried about the malice part?" Draggie said.

"Tell me about the wicked executives, and your boss Dame Deadtime," Ben asked.

"Okay, okay, Sandal Ninpo, exposition explanation!" Tripapat shouted, before calmly explaining, "Dame Deadtime was once a human, but she was imprisoned for a crime she didn't do, something with a clock or something?".

"How ironic," Draggie added.

"I know right, anyways after she had perished and became a yokai, the ones known as the wicked executives where born out of the different pains she had felt," he explained, "The feelings were, sadness, frustration, desperation, distrust, and anger,".

"Interesting, then maybe, what I seek may be possible?" Ben said to himself, "Any ways that we may beat them?".

"How should I know?" Tripapat said, "I'm just a low-ranking foot-wear, they don't tell that kinda stuff,", the sandal then looked down, seeming sad.

This was noticed by Ben, who then adjusted his hat for a brief second to look cool. Ben then untied the ninja sandal.

"You hungry Tripapatt?" the boy asked

"Huh, of course not, ninja's must be able to not need any food what so ever!" the sandal shouted, before seeming slightly famished, "T-though, I suppose a snack, would be most pleasant,".

"Ben, what are you getting at?" Draggie asked.

"I'm just trying to be friendly," Ben replied, before pulling out a bag of chips and giving it to the wicked yokai, "Go a head, have some,".

"What trick is this, you will not fool me with you this!" Tripapatt said, before eyeballing the bag, "But, I suppose I better look to remove the trick you have in here, no matter how hard it may be,".

He then grabbed the bag and started snacking on its contents, despite the lack of a mouth.

"Hey if your giving out food, could I have a crab omelet?" Draggie asked.

"But of course, buddy," Ben then pulled out the dish, much to the delight of the young dragon.

"Yay!" he said before grabbing it and munching down.

Meanwhile with Nate,

The boy and his yokai were walking down the street near the beach.

"I say, it certainly got cloudy fast," Whisper said as he looked at the sky.

"I hope it doesn't rain," Jibanyan added, "That would be nyasty,".

Though Nate wasn't paying attention, for he was still thinking about Katie. It had been a few days since their brief fight after encountering Unkeen. He had tried to get over worry about her, but because he had not seen the girl he cared about in a while, he wondered if Katie had been avoiding him.

"I wonder if she's still mad at me?" he said to himself, but N did notice this.

"You're not still upset about Katie, are you?" the ghost asked, "You're not wrong for worrying about her, it's only natural to care about your friends".

"Yeah, I guess," Nate groaned, "I just wish I could apologize, but I haven't seen her for a while now,".

Suddenly a white streak slammed into Whisper.

"Whaaaaahh!" Whisper screamed as hit the ground.

"Whisper!" Nate and Jibanyan said with concern.

"Hey watch where your going!" Whisper complained as he rubbed his head.

"No time, I need to find that brat Damona!" the yokai that bumped into Whisper shouted, which was Moximous K.

"K, what are you talking about?" N asked.

"I have to find the yokai that hurt Katie's feelings!" K explained.

"What happened to Katie?" Nate asked with much concern.

"Some stupid yokai Damona wouldn't become her friend and humiliated her!" K explained, "So I need to find that yokai and make her pay!".

"Wait, are you saying that a yokai hurt your granddaughter, and you left her alone!?" N asked, sounding annoyed.

"Yeah, so?" K replied, before N's look made him understand, "Oh, darn, I probably shouldn't have done that, huh?".

"You think?" N answered in annoyance.

Nate then clinched his anger. He couldn't stand that a yokai had hurt Katie so badly, and this time, he was not going to let it stand.

Meanwhile in the wicked lair,

Unkeen was anxiously pacing.

"What was that women thinking?" he mumbled to himself, concerned for his comrade.

Unpleasant then appeared, which made Unkeen become serious.

"How is she?" he asked.

"A bit bruised, with a tab bit of cat fur, but Unkaind will be fine," the scientist assured, "Nothing unclaimible,"

"Good," he said with relief, "Now, explain to me why Unkaind took such a powerful and dangerous form?".

"Well, what we have witnessed is a wicked dark beast form," Unpleasant explained, "I've been researching this form that us executives can assume, and after Unkaind's battle I believe I have discovered how to activate the form, hoho,".

"Have you told mistress Deadtime of this?" Unkeen asked.

"Well, not quite yet," Unpleasant said, which got him a glare from his boss, "L-l-let me explain, I have a good reason I swear!".

"Go on," Unkeen said, lowering his glare.

"Yes, it would appear that when the emotion that we were born from is pushed to the limit, our wicked energy in us will overflow and unleash the beast, as it were," he explained, "I theorize that when Unkaind had gotten to the breaking point of her frustration, her snake form was activated,".

"So why keep it from Dame Deadtime?" Unkeen asked.

"Weeell, I'm still a bit unsure on the overall structure of this development," Unpleasant explained, "It's not that I'm trying to get my own wicked dark beast to come out of anything, not conceptional, wink, wink,".

"Right, yours is distrust," Unkeen grumbled.

Just then Untidy walked in, "Hey guys what I miss,".

"Oh, I guess it wears off, fascinating," Unpleasant said, "Very unpredictable,".

"Untidy, do you know where Unfairly is?" Unkeen asked.

"Um, I don't know," he said stupidly, "I think he might be hiding somewhere after Unkaind yelled at him?".

Unkeen then looked away, "Hm, I wonder how he is taking it?".

Speaking of which,

Unfairy was hiding in a storage room, huddled up and somewhat sad.

"Why'd she has to get so mad," he said with sadness, "It's not my fault she lost to those humans!".

He then thought of how mad the serpent lady was.

"Why couldn't you be more useful," the voice of Ukaind echoed, "Can't you ever do something right you worthless rat!".

"When Dame Deadtime finds out how many times I've failed, that's like," he then counted on his fingers nervously, "One, two, um, carry the fore, divided by cheese pizza, and that's, too many times!" Unfairy shouted as he grabbed his hair.

He then pictured horrible thoughts of abandonment.

"No, no, I have to do something, come on think!" Unfairy then bit his fingers, but then he thought of something, "Wait, I know, I'll go make her pay, then I won't get the boot, yes, hehe,"

He then disappeared.

Meanwhile with Katie,

The depressed girl was huddled up crying at the park playground on a bench. The sky was as cloudy as her mood, which was very negative after the failure.

"W-why couldn't I befriend her?" she sobbed. Not being able to befriend Damona had really hurt Katie's confidence. "I guess I shouldn't have thought it would be so easy?" she then looked at her watch, "How am I going to get stronger now?" she then put the watch down, thoughts of giving up began to enter her mind. Maybe Nate was right, maybe she shouldn't be involved in all this yokai stuff.

"Why did you even want that yokai?" a voice asked.

"Huh, who's there?" Katie asked, trying to stop sobbing.

"Answer my question first," the voice said.

"Well, I heard she was a powerful yokai," Katie explained, "I thought if I could befriend someone like Damona, maybe Nate would finally take me seriously,".

"So, you wanted power?" the shadowy voice asked.

"Yeah, I guess," Katie replied, feeling unsure, "Wait, where are you, what are you?"

She then opened up her watch and shined it around, eventually she shined it on her shadow. Then as the light faded, a humanoid yokai with that looked like a ninja with dark black skin, white hair, and a black scarf that was two dragon serpents that looked like flames.

This frightened Katie a bit, causing her to take a step back.

"Power is not everything," the yokai stated, "Those who only pursue it, usually end up with a lonely existence, I should know,".

Katie figured by his appearance he might have not been the most popular with other yokai, "I'm guessing you haven't had the most super life?".

"Tell me girl, was the pursuit of power what got you your other yokai friends?" the yokai asked.

"Well, no," Katie explained, before thinking back to when she met Komasan, Frostina, and the others, "I just wanted to help them,".

"Interesting," the yokai said, "Did you have that goal in mind with Damona?".

Katie then realized, she had been so focused on becoming stronger, that she hadn't really acting like herself and thinking about the yokai, "Wow, I've really messed up," she sighed, "I just wanted Nate to not worry about me,".

"At least you realized that before you lost your way," the yokai said, still calm, and somewhat sad.

"Hang on, you still haven't told me who you are?" Katie pointed out, slightly annoyed.

"My apologizes," the yokai said, "I am known as Shadow Venoct,".

Shadow Venoct

Slippery

Rare

"My power is feared throughout the yokai world," he explained, "Not many last long around me,".

"Then why are you talking to me?" Katie asked, "Wouldn't you rather be fighting white wolfs or something ninja-ee?".

"I've been watching you human, from the shadows, how you befriend different yokai, encouraged them," Shadow Venoct explained, "The way you treat others which such care and kindness is truly admirable,".

"Um, thanks," Katie said, sounding a bit shy, "I guess I never really thought much about it, I was just being myself,".

"When Damona rejected you, I guess I just didn't want to see your light fade," Shadow Venoct said, "My light is already been snuffed out, no reason the same fate should befall you,".

"Well you can't be all that bad," Katie said, sounding friendly, "I mean, you cared enough to check on me, right?".

"Do not be fooled by my act of kindness," he replied seeming intense, "I am a dangerous creature, haunted by the blood curdling cries of the dozens of foes I vanquished, I am the darkest of nights, my snakes are the sharpest that will cut down all who oppose me in seconds!"

Katie however was not buying this and decided to do something that what get the serpent to shut his traps. That being, embracing him in a hug.

"W-what, emr, w-w-what doing, fair maiden?" Shadow Venoct asked, being quite confused.

"You just seemed so dark about your past, or whatever, and I thought hug was just what you needed," Katie said with a smile, before letting go, "I bet you feel nicer now?".

"I-I feel now such thing," he stuttered, now blushing a good bit.

"Come on, you don't have to hide it," Katie teased.

Suddenly, the wicked Executive Unfairy appeared.

"Hehe, got you now," he nervously said.

"Unfairy, what do you want?" Katie asked.

"Hehe, I'm going to defeat you," the wicked explained, "Then I won't get kicked out for my incompetence, hehe,".

"Wait, they're going to kick you out?" Katie asked, almost sounding concerned.

"What, no, I mean yes, wait no, I don't know, who said that?!" he stuttered.

"Um, you did?" Katie pointed.

"Well, mind your own business!" he shouted, "The point is, once I get rid of you, I'll be loved and forgiven for all my failures, hahahehe!".

He then ran at Katie swinging his arms like crazy.

"Aaah!" Katie screamed as she covered herself with her arms. However, she soon relished that nothing had happened to her, "Wait, huh?"

She then saw that Shadow Venoct was holding the wicked back with on of his dragon serpents, quite easily and humorously.

"Pathetic," he said, before throwing the wicked yokai back.

"No, no, why can't I win?" he sobbed, "I-I can't lose, or I'm done for,".

"What are you talking about?" Katie asked.

"If I mess up one more time, then I just know Dame Deadtime's is going to hurt me big time," Unfairy said, starting to cry, "If I'm not part of the wicked, t-t-then I have nothing but sadness, whah!"

Katie oddly felt bad for him.

But then, darkness that looked like mice started to surround Unfairy.

Wicked Dark Beast Unleashed! Said a voice that sounded evil, deep, sickly, and was accompanied by a jingle like hebitsukai metal, before ending with a violent squeak.

His eyes then glowed, and the darkness exploded into mice, showing Unfairy's new form. "Hehe, yes, yes, squeak, I there's no way you stop me, hehehehehehehe, squeak," he laughed, before seeing what he looked like.

Katie then let out a small giggle.

It looked like Unfariy, expect he was now a rather chubby mouse that was slightly smaller than his normal form, with a pointy nose and ears that looked slightly like a famous mouse, with a gray rat the sat on the ground, and buck teeth like many mice had.

"What, oh come on!?" he shouted in frustration, "How am I supposed to do anything with this!?".

"This will be easy," Shadow Venoct said before taking a battle stance.

"Wait, could you please not hurt him?" Katie asked.

"Hm, why would you not want one of your enemies dealt with?" the serpent warrior asked.

"He just seems really sad, and I don't feel right to attack him," Katie explained, "Please Shadow Venoct,".

The slippery yokai then began to blush again at the human girl's cuteness, "Well,"

However, Unfairy had gotten so sad that he started crying, "Whaaaaaa, why can't anything work for me!?".

But what was most alarming was when his tears the ground, they became swarms of rats made of darkness.

"Aaaahh, that is so disgusting!" Katie cried.

The rats then started running at her, but Shadow Venoct jumped in and used his dragon scarf to knock them away.

Unfortunately, the tears kept pouring and the rats kept forming, and the shadow serpent couldn't hold them back.

"Don't worry, I'll get some help!" Katie said before pulling out a medal and opening her watch, "Come on out my friend," Katie said as she flipped the medal and caught it, "Calling Blizzaria, yokai medal, do your thing!" she then opened her watch and slid the medal in.

Summoning, Charming!

Alarming,

Boom Boom

Walla, Walla,

Dance Dance

Charming!

"Blizzaria!" the ice mistress said, before seeing her friend, "Katie, is everything okay, I'm really sorry about Damona,".

"I'm fine, but I'm not so sure about Unfairy," Katie explained.

"Huh, what do you me-?" Blizzaria then saw all the rats, "EEEEiiilllllll, that's digesting!" she screamed with white eyes.

"Tell me about it," Katie agreed.

"Shut up, whaaaaa!" Unfairy cried as more rats attacked.

"Blizzaria, I need you to freeze those rats!" Katie commanded.

"Got it!" she replied before unleashing her ice magic.

This was able to stop some of the rats, allowing Shadow Venoct to strike the mouse.

"Whaaah!" the wicked rodent said as he was knocked away.

"That should stop him," Shadow Venoct said, much to the delight of the others.

"Never," he sniffled, looking close to cry more rats.

"There's got to be away to stop him," Blizzaria said.

Katie thought about this, but she wasn't thinking about how to beat the mouse. No, she wanted to help him feel better. This would of course stop the rats, but that didn't really concern the girl, "I think we need to help him feel better!" Katie said, much to the surprise of the others, "I know, I'll summon Komasan!".

"Um, Katie," Blizzaria said, sounding a bit worried.

"Don't try to talk me out of this," Katie said as she reached for the medal, "I need to help Unfairy feel better, even if he is a wicked!".

"That's great, but that's not why you shouldn't summon Komasan," Blizzaria explained.

"What are you even talking about?" Katie asked, before Blizzaria pointed in a direction that Katie then looked at.

Then running frantically towards them was a very frantic looking Komasan.

"Kaaaaaaaaaaaatiiiiieeeeeee!" he shouted with his limbs flailing, before eventually stopping in front of Katie humorously, "Katie, I know you needed some time alone, but once Blizzaria got summoned, I just couldn't help but worry!" he panted, "Don't listen to that overrated dona how, your the sweetest girl in the hole wide sweet good world!".

"That's really sweet Komasan," Katie said sweetly, while feeling a bit awkward about Komasan's flailing, "But I'm not the one who needs your kindness right now,".

"Huh, what do yah mean?" Komasan asked as he looked up, before Katie pointed at the mousey Unfairy, who was close to crying more rats, "Whoa, for a wicked, he sure does look mighty sad,".

"Yeah, that's why I need you to go cheer him up," Katie explained as she got down to his level, "It would really mean a lot to me if you could cheer him up,".

"But isn't he a wicked, y'know, uh, a bad guy?" Komasan asked, seeming unsure.

"Please Komasan?" Katie asked looking cute.

"D'aww, all, alright," Komasan beamed, before walking towards the wicked dark beast, ignoring any shadow rats that had spawned.

"Are you sure about this?" Blizzaria asked.

"It seems foolish to aid a Wicked," Shadow Venoct added.

"Wait, who's the snake?" Blizzaria asked.

Komasan then walked up to the Wicked.

"Huh, what, you hear to attack me?" Unfairy sniffled.

"Nope, why would I hurt such a gosh darn nice mousy?" Komasan said, with a cute head tilt, "Now what's got you feeling so down in the dumps?"

"What are you talking about?" Unfairy asked, "I'm not scared about being kicked out for failing so much!?".

"Well why yah so worried about that sorta thing?" Komasan asked.

"W-why would I tell you, your just," Unfairy said, before he was embraced in a hug by Komasan, "Huh, w-what is this, what's going on?!".

"It's a hug silly," Komasan joyfully explained, "Don't yah feel better now partner?".

"I,I,I, Whaaaaaah!" the mouse cried, "The wicked are my only family, I don't have anywhere else to go!".

"Don't worry, it all be okay," Komasan said, "I bet your buddies still love yah,".

"That's right, if the other wicked are like your family, then they won't desert you," Katie said.

"Y-you really think so?" the mouse asked, as he sniffed with his nose as his ears perked up slightly.

"Of course," Katie said.

Unfairy began to stop crying, "W-w-why, are you being so nice, I'm your enemy?!".

"That doesn't mean we can't share a hug," Komasan said.

"I-I, wow," the mouse slowly said, before the darkness faded from him, turning him back to his normal form.

"Amazing," Shadow Venoct calmly said in awe.

"I feel so much better," Unfairy said, before something acquired to him, causing to jump back, "Wait, your my enemies, I shouldn't let you be nice to me!?" he then started to panic, "Oh no, if the others find out, I'll,"

Suddenly there was a loud thud behind the mouse. Unfairy then turned around to see the large wicked executive Untidy.

"There you Unfairy," the large wicked yokai happily said.

"AAAAAhhhhh!" the mouse looking person screamed before falling down.

"AAAAAAAAhhhhhh!" Untidy also screamed, "Why are we screaming?".

"Huh, you're not here punish me for my failures?" Unfairy nervously asked.

"Why would I do that, I just wondered where you where?" Untidy explained, "Your one of the executives, we need you after those two old hags mysteriously disappeared,".

"Really, you mean it?" the mouse hopefully asked.

"Yeah we don't know what happened to them," Untidy foolishly said, before noticing Katie and her yokai, "Wait, I think I saw you at the cave I lost at?" he pointed out, before pounding his fist "We should beat them up!".

"No!" Unfairy shouted nervously, which confused Untidy.

"Huh, why not?" he asked.

"Eh, well you see, I uh," Unfairy said as he twiddled his fingers, before looking at the others, "Because I already beat them up some, there not going to bug us for a while now, yeah that's it,".

"He can't be seriously," Blizzaria said, sounding unamused.

Untidy blinked a few times, before smiling, "Oh okay, great job little guy," he said, which made the others breath a breath of relief, "Let's get going, we need to get to work!", Untidy then disappeared.

Unfairy then looked to the others nervously, "Ehehe, well, uh," he then sweated a bit, before frantically leaving "Bye!".

"Well, that happened," Blizzaria said dryly.

"What do you know, he wasn't that bad after all," Komasan said with a smile.

Shadow Vencot then approached Katie, "Katie, the way you defeated your enemy with kindness was truly, cool,".

"Oh thanks" Katie said, before being surprised when the black dragon scarf handed her a medal, "But I couldn't have remembered how important my kindness was without your help Shadow Venoct,".

"I don't know if I'm worthy, but I would be most honored if you would accept my medal," he calmly said, trying to be cool. The slippery yokai then glowed as his medal appeared and went to the girl.

"Wow, thanks Shadow Venoct!" Katie said with joy, before grabbing the yokai in a hug, "You me be all dark in brooding, but deep down you're a really sweet snake!".

"Whatever but can there please be less of this hugging?!" he groaned, feeling discomforted very much.

"Looks like someone's feeling better," Blizzaria said with closed eyes.

"I sure am," Katie said, after letting go of the serpent, "I'm not going to let my determination to get strong stop me from caring about my yokai friends anymore!", Katie said with motivation.

"That's wonderful Katie!" Komasan cheered, "I reckon we're the happiest yokai in the world to be your friends!".

"I hope if I ever have a daughter, she'll have yokai as loyal as you guys," as Katie said this, a three headed purple snake like creature poked its heads up from the background and looked around, before going back down.

"I'm sure she will," Blizzaria said with a smile.

Katie then noticed that Unfairy had dropped something, "Huh, what's this?" she then picked up what appeared to be a green medal, "Wait, is this what I think it is!?"

Unsure what to think of the medal, she quickly stuffed it into her pocket before her yokai could notice.

"Looks you've had a good haul," A familiar voice said, "Has the rest of your day been this successful?".

Katie then turned to see Ben, with Draggie perched on the boy's hat.

"Oh hey Ben," she greeted, "Well, lets just say I won't be so cocky about yokai anymore,".

"Glad to hear," he replied.

"I bet Nate would be even gladder to hear that," Draggie suggested.

"Yeah, Nate," Katie said, feeling bad about how she had acted towards him the other day, "I really hope he's not mad at me,".

"Well, he's mad at something, but it's not you," Draggie said as he gazed into the crystal ball on his head.

"Huh, what do you mean?" Katie asked, sounding curious.

Draggie then hopped off the hat and walked up to the girl, who then bent down to the dragon's level. As Katie investigated the crystal ball her face became astonished at what she saw.

"Is that Nate, fighting Damona!?" Katie asked.

"You got it," Draggie answered cutely.

"It seems that he didn't take to kindly to someone hurting you," Ben suggested, "From I can tell, he really cares a lot about you Katie-kun,".

"Wow, Nate," she slowly said, feeling moved by the actions of one she loved.

Back with Nate,

The boy had confronted the rare charming yokai, with the two grandfather yokai ready to fight.

"What will you do then?" Damona asked.

"I'll, I'll," Nate wasn't sure what to do, his angry of what the yokai did to Katie clouded his judgment, "I'll defeat you!".

This surprised Whisper and Jibanyan, but Damona remained emotionless.

"You won't," she said.

But Nate paid her no attention and pulled out a gold medal.

"Come on out my friend, calling Dan doodle!" Nate said as he inserted the medal into the watch. "Yokai medal, do your thing!".

"Summoning, Legendary!"

"Imaginary!

Incendiary!

Flip flop,

squiggle boom,

slim slam,

Legendary!"

"Dan doodle, fabulous," the handsome man faced dog said.

"Oh, so you summoned a legendary yokai," Damona said, "Interesting,".

"Go charm her into submission Dan doodle!" Nate commanded, confident in his plan.

"You got it babe," Dan doodle said, before walking up to Damona and slowly turning his head, "I've seen a lot of girls before, but you Damona, are fabulous,".

Damona then blinked a few, "Is that supposed to impress me?" she asked with no emotion.

This shocked Dan doodle, who turned to stone and fainted, "I-impossible, h-h-how could anyone resist my good looks?".

"I am not interested in that stuff," Damona explained, "I only care for the power of battle,".

Nate groaned, he wanted to use a sneakier method since he didn't really like to get into fights.

"Nate, what are we going to do?" Whisper moaned.

"I wonder, why did that girl care for someone so pathetic?" Damona asked, "I guess she is just that weak,".

This made Nate snap, "That does it!" he yelled, "No talks about Katie like that!" he then pulled out a red medal with a gold rim "Come on out my friend, calling Shogunyan!" Nate said as he inserted the medal into the watch. "Yokai medal, do your thing!".

"Summoning, Legendary!"

"Imaginary!

Incendiary!

Flip flop,

squiggle boom,

slim slam,

Legendary!"

"Shogunyan!" the cat shouted.

"Shogunyan, defeat Damona and avenge Katie's wonderful name!" Nate commanded.

"Understood," the samurai then drew his sword and dashed at the rare yokai.

"Very well," she then started firing dark ice blast at the legendary yokai.

Shogunyan dodged some of the cold flames, but was eventually knocked back, "Nyaarrgg!" he screamed as tried to stand tall as the damage forced him back.

"Why don't you just give up?" Damona asked.

"No, I won't give up!" Nate proclaimed, "Not until I make you pay for hurting Katie!".

"Why do you care so much?" Damona asked, "She's just some girl,".

"Katie is not just some girl!" Nate shouted, "Katie means everything to me!".

"So, you love her then?" Damona asked.

Nate flinched for a bit, but his passion was burning so much that he did not deny it, "Yes, I love Katie with all my heart!" he then pulled out another medal, "And I'll do anything I can to protect her!".

However, what he didn't know was that behind Nate, Katie and Ben had arrived on the scene. Katie was stunned by the boy's passion for her.

"N-nate," she said quietly.

"What I tell you," Ben said, feeling smug.

Nate meanwhile had summoned the yokai Neckidspeed, a slippery yokai that looked like a shoe with muscle arms and legs with yellow eyes.

"Neckidspeed, power up Shogunyan and the moximus yokai!" Nate ordered, to which the shoe grunted and used its inspiriting power to boost the cats speed alongside the others.

"Oh yeah, you will not escape me this time demon!" he proclaimed, before zipping away so fast you could barely see him.

"It's Damona," the girl said with no emotion, before trying to blast her opponents, but with no luck.

"Your going to pay for hurting my granddaughter!" K claimed, while N just grinned as they sped towards the yokai.

Shogunyan zipped around many times, before appearing behind Damona and striking, "Gotta go fast can't touch this super surprise samurai strike!" he proclaimed as slashed across the spellcaster, before sliding across the ground and putting away his sword.

The moximuses then did their attacks, knocking her to the ground.

"Moxie Punch!"

"Moxie Kick!"

Damona then flinched with pain as she fell to the ground. She was still alive and well but was holding her side in pain.

"Uragg, I guess, I am defeated, mh," she said, though the lack of emotion hid any pain, "Your pretty strong," After she said this, the rare yokai glowed and caused a medal to flout towards Nate, "Give me a call if you need more power,".

"Huh, wait I," Nate stuttered, but the yokai vanished before he could protest.

"Well done Nate, you got Damona's medal!" Whisper congratulated, "I'd say you more than avenged Katie's name,".

"Yeah, I guess," Nate replied, seeming disappointed, "I just wish she would talk to me again,".

"Wish granted!" Katie cutely said, which surprised Nate.

"K-katie!?" he said after turning around to see the girl smiling, "I uhm, look I'm really sorr-".

Katie stopped him, "No, its okay, I'm sorry for get so overconfident," she apologized, before blushing a bit "But, its really sweet that you cared so much,".

This made Nate blush even more than Katie.

The other watch holder and his dragon then left to give the two their moment.

"So happy things are working out for Katie and Nate," Ben said with a smile.

"Ah-huh," Draggie agreed, "By the way, where did you send those annoying hags?".

"Oh, just to some sophisticated owl friends of mine," Ben explained, "Those clockwork brothers should keep then out our way,".

"Well, at least it that wasn't predictable," Draggie smiled, but then he noticed Ben was pondering something, "What is it now?".

"Sorry, just, worried," Ben explained, "If things will work out for those two kids?".

"I'm sure it will be fine," Draggie replied.

"Still, you think I could have a look?" Ben asked, "Just to be sure?".

Draggie let out a sigh, "Alright, but don't freak out if you don't like it,". Draggie then started rubbing the orb on his head, to which Ben looked into, "Gaze into my crystal ball, yada yada yada and stuff,".

In a few seconds, Ben saw something in the ball that made his eyes zoom in and beam.

"Yeeeeeaah, yeah, yeaahh!" he shouted with joy. He then started appearing all over the background screaming his joy, "Yeah, yeah, yeaaaaaaaaaaaahh!".

"Well at least he's not anxious anymore," Draggie said, still a bit concerned.

"Yeah!"

The dragon yokai then looks at you, "Oh your wondering what I showed him huh?".

"Yeah, yeah!" Ben then sailed by one a cruise boat, "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!".

"Take a wild guess," Draggie said with sarcasm, "It's not that shadowy, hehe,".

Draggie: Okay Ben, I think you've made your point!

Ben: Huh, oh sorry. Mostly sorry this took so long.

Draggie: You should be.

Ben: Yeah, sad truth is, I'm still stuck in school and don't have the time and energy for writing as much as I would want.

Draggie: Not to mention the shows haven't been that inspiring. They didn't even give me an episode, and yet they gave the stupid Gnomey a whole mini series!

Ben: Sad but true. With the voice actor change, it feels impossible to watch. But I do want to a sure everyone, I will still try to finish this story.

Draggie: Though it will probably be after Ben graduates in May. Then there should be more stories.

Ben: Anyways, thanks again for all your patience and support.

Draggie: We've gotten over 10,000 views. You people rock!

Ben: I just want to thank you all again for all the views and reviews this story has gotten. It's honestly you guys and other yokai watch stories that help me still enjoy yokai watch. Without Y'all, I probably would have left this fandom long ago.

Draggie: Without me and your yokai?

Ben: Oh please, I would have taken you all with me.

Draggie: I'm okay with that. Also there were some references to a darker type of yokai series in this chapter, see how many you can find!

Ben: As I always say, reviews lead to sooner chapters and better quality stories. Until, the last few chapters.

Draggie: Bye, see yah then!

Ben: Chao!
