Chapter 50: A Battle Greater than Will

A/N: Another update, another step closer to finishing this saga even though I know the majority do not care for it. But this will wrap up, one day.

White had taken little time to start getting what she had wanted, the spilling of purple blood of the Nameks was unfortunate but a necessity. With her strength and mental capabilities she had already butchered dozens of them and yet they foolishly continued to resist her great cause. It was troubling that so many beings would rather throw their lives away then do the smart thing and submit to her greater will. Why choose sacrifice?

Her thoughts were mildly troubling as she carried around six dragonballs with her mind, the large orbs floating around her body as she flew almost nonchalantly her hands and feet covered in a faint pink stain she headed in the direction of the final dragonball. With the upcoming arrival of her guests consisting of the saiyans and a few others there was only so little time left.

She had made preparations and ordered her thrall Goku to go and slow some of the saiyans once they showed up, which wouldn't be very long. White had to get the last dragonball and then make her wish, it would only be a matter of time until she had everything.

White knew she might suffer some minor problems when dealing with Broly. She'd managed to overcome him before with his overconfidence. The effect she had over him had allowed him to not be at full strength when fighting. Weakening him enough to make it seem like he was fighting at full strength-when in actuality he was not.

His power was incredible and the only reason she hadn't used him as a host was due to his nature, he was wild and power erratic and caging his mind was a trying aspect which took years. Controlling a power that was erratic as it was strong would be more trouble than it was worth, plus she had a strong dislike of the male brain. Feral, aggressive, and a dominance through strength, none of which she particularly enjoyed.

Crafting Chi-Chi had taken years of hard work, a suitable candidate that had exceeded expectations. A body and soul she could link with much better, the only problem was the personality had to be extremely stubborn.

But there was a major benefit that would soon come. Placing one hand over her stomach, "Soon I'll have everything and more." With a smile on her face she continued her streak across the sky.

The only current problem was the growing migraine in her head. Leocht's consciousness was struggling to contain the growing insurrection inside of her. Manipulating a body like Leocht had been easier, her mind being the strongest attribute but when she had found the battered and broken seer.

Chi-Chi's resolve hadn't broken down and when she had begun making her moves upon her and using the weaknesses that were inside of her had made the acquisition easier but not as fool proof as it could've been.

Yet as she viewed the location that held the last prize with her eyes. On a large and rather precarious pillar stood the building of her final dragonball. She had gained that little bit of knowledge from the Namekians with a little 'persuasion'.

As she dropped from the clouds above and slowed her descent she was greeted by yet another Namek. The other six dragonballs landing just around her in a semi circle. One more youthful but had some capabilities, that above of the ones that had been alive previously. Landing on her feet she politely bowed. "Greetings, do I perhaps need introductions?"

The Namek remained stone faced, "Would it offend you if I did not?" Neutral and unfeeling yet the tension was hanging in the air. His body didn't move yet it wanted too, the feeling to lash out and-

"Strike me?" White smiled, though her smile was nothing but malice in her eyes. "You Namekians despite being isolated on this world you have the concept of treating someone like me with the proper respect, no one needed to die, there didn't need to be any pointless sacrifices for a reason that I do not understand. I came here peacefully and yet I am treated with such derision that it's beyond insulting."

Walking forwards she stopped just short of arms reach of the Namek. "I simply want to help and yet you treat me like I am a monster."

His eyes hardened, "Are you not? What peaceful creature slaughters all in their path? Only monsters do that or do you think that by wearing another creature's skin you have the right to stand there and preach to any of my people? No, you do not." The Namek's eyes flashed and saw the writhing twisted energies around her, like black tendrils they reached out and snapped, they were invisible to the naked eye, they skittered around her almost like a disease. "You are nothing but endless hunger…"

She raised up one hand her palm facing upwards. "That isn't the first time someone has called me that and I don't particularly approve of it." Her hand began to crackle with power. "What is your name, I'd like to know it before you die."

He smirked, "Nail and you won't overcome me as easily as you did the others."

White just shook her head, "And unfortunately, that is where you are wrong." Her hand balled up and the building's front exploded, it caught Nail off guard and when his attention slipped she hit him, so hard that her fist tore through his stomach and out the other side.

It was so fast the Namek didn't even have time to cry out in pain as he was then without any concern for where he would end up and was sent flying across the planet where he'd die from impact or from his injuries later.

Wiping off her hand with mild disgust White jumped into the entrance, her eyes partaking the elder of the Nameks. One would have to assume considering his sheer size and age. Yet there was one smaller Namek child hiding off to the side of the large chair he sat in.

Doing her best to compose herself she looked up at the last dragonball, conveniently sitting atop of his head. Taking a breath, "I am growing quite tired of all of these interruptions," she then pointed at the dragonball. "I am going to take that."

Guru's lips were neutral. "You may have it."

White almost felt ready to start laughing, but she was quite pleased with the reaction. "Why couldn't the other Nameks have been more like you? I didn't need to kill them to get this point across." Shaking her head she pointed towards the dragonball lifting it up and off its pedestal before heading over towards her.

"If I may ask, what do you intend to do with such power?" Guru offered up his question, doing what little was left to stall. Nail hadn't been able to buy much time at all, leaving it to the elder. His young student Dende was the last Namekian left beside himself now, and he wasn't going to force Dende into suffering any further. Not when the creature before him had everything it wanted in its hands right now.

White tossed the ball out landing with the others, "You'll just have to wait and see." She was giddy, everything she had ever wanted was coming to fruition and this was going to be it. Her long road and decades of painstaking work were going to bear fruit.

"It won't give you what you want," Guru said, sensing the presence about to leave.

Turning her head round to look at him with a grin. "Oh I believe it will and I can't wait."

"Is that why you hold other beings hostage? Living through their pain and misery, what kind of life do you intend to lead with such an existence. I may only be a few millennia old but I know what you seek is not possible."

"We will certainly find out now won't we?" Jumping down from her position white looked at the gathered dragonballs. 'Now it is my time…'

A massive crack was heard off in the distance, 'What!?'

There was a rippling sound and the massive flexing of a power level coming straight towards her. It was, "BROLY!?" Her voice slightly panicked, they were here faster than they had imagined.

'Leocht!' White's tone shouting inside of her head, but there wasn't a response back. Her task of subduing Chi-Chi's mind was taking up more effort and energy than she had expected. The ship wasn't supposed to land for another hour, yet here Broly was, as was Vegeta, Bardock, and the fused Namekian. This wasn't how things were predicted to go!

But she still had time, 'Goku… I need your help now.' Her mental link awakening the super-saiyan and she sent him off to go buy herself more time. Jumping down she had to make use of her limited time and use the dragonballs. Her wish was so close.

[***]

"That was a crazy move, I suppose you still have your uses." Vegeta gave a half compliment looking back towards Bardock. The older saiyan holding a mild grin on his face. "I felt her power shift the moment Broly ascended, I believe we did catch her off guard."

"I did as well," Bardock added their focus now on stopping White and whatever goals she had with using this planet's dragonballs. "When you do an assault drop you have to be close enough for it to be effective, I'm guessing though with someone like Broly who can hold enough oxygen for several minutes at that speed we hit her quickly enough that she was probably still expecting us to come with the ship."

"You said unpredictable, and the damn woman could only expect so much. Even if she can see into the future she has to see all of our futures and determine which is the correct one." Vegeta looked forward, following behind Broly as the legendary saiyan had said nothing, his entire focus was now all consuming. Looking forward to the next greatest fight of his life.

Broly's green energy was crackling around him, breathing through his nose as his white eyes stared into the endless green seas and blue grass.

"Before you start celebrating, we have company." Piccolo noted as they all could sense the oncoming rush of energy. White was sending her lone attack dog after them.

"Kakarot… pfft he's no concern to me and legendary. You and Bardock can handle him while me and Broly deal with the real threat." Vegeta dismissed anything that Kakarot would try and achieve as futile, "She's only using him to stall. Our main focus shall be her, removing her removes any further problems from your boy Bardock."

Bardock had to agree with that assessment but with one minor detail. "I'll take care of my son alone, you three can handle White. As a Father it's my responsibility to take care of my own blood, anything else would be further insults to my honor and pride."

"I'm assuming you know that your son is a super-saiyan. How is that going to be overcome?" Vegeta questioned. But Bardock just cracked a grin.

"Well sometimes even an old dog like me can learn a thing…" His teeth grit together as his eyes flared to teal. "Or TWO!" With a burst of light Bardock ascended to the same level that Goku and Vegeta had recently acquired. He looked back up at Vegeta, "Don't be surprised, when the fate of your mate and family is on the line you gain more power than you realize at times and when you do all the mental training with the green Namek over here. I gained a new perspective."

Vegeta just shook his head, "Whatever, go and deal with your son then." Casting off any further inklings and burying his anger at seeing another saiyan that resembled Kakarot claiming something that was his proper birthright.

What he didn't share was another small inkling of relief, if Bardock had more power it would only make their plan go into effect early. They would stage themselves forcing the corrupted white into an early fight, however he didn't know how early that was. He didn't know for what purposes or where Bulma would take the ship with Raditz, Gine, Gohan, and his son. They would be safe and protected by his lack of knowledge and couldn't be affected by any of the distractions and mental games White would play on them.

If luck would be on their side, but he unfortunately doubted that. The current track record of trying to keep up with someone like Leocht and her plans was currently her winning every single game she played. This was going to end up falling into his hands to figure out how to end this. He wanted to avoid killing Chi-Chi. The woman was a warrior and didn't deserve her body stolen and used by another. But if it couldn't be avoided then he would kill her. Victory was more important than anything and if he saw an opportunity to end this conflict with her death, then he would do it. Painlessly if possible.

"You guys kick that bitch's ass for me." Bardock said before splitting off from the group. Taking a path that led him directly into a rematch with his son.

Piccolo watched Bardock's form disappear before looking to the two that were left. Though his words were more for the prince. "Remember this will be purely physical. I'll try and shield your mind from her attacks but I can't promise that she'll not be to start slipping in and messing with all of our heads."

"I'm aware of that Namek, but that isn't our goal now is it?" Vegeta snorted.

"Give Gohan, Gine, and Raditz some credit so they will be able to pull something off. I know Gohan can, that boy has more potential in him than anyone can imagine."

The prince just wanted to roll his eyes, "So I am to rely on Bardock's entire lineage for everything then? Have you seen their level of idiocy?"

"If it weren't for them you wouldn't have ever met Bulma now would you? So consider this compensation." He watched Vegeta's turn towards him with an angry glare.

"If I hadn't of sent the blasted moron here to begin with none of this would've happened-"

"So this is all your fault then?" Piccolo interrupted with a grin.

"You better shut your mouth Namek." His threat only made Piccolo more pleased with himself. But as they sped along the ground the entire sky turned black. The normal daylight colors turned into night in an instant. "What is happening?"

"She's using the dragonballs… We have to go faster!" Piccolo cried out and Broly exploded in a burst of speed. The ground and seas even hundreds of yards below him were pushed aside by the force of his energies.

The Legendary saiyan became fixated as his ears drowned out the sound of the air whipping around him. Looking up he viewed the large frame of a green dragon touching the darkened sky. It's body dwarfing anything that he had ever seen previously in his life. He knew this had to be the eternal dragon, the thing that all of the people on the ship were bickering about. 'What if she gets a wish, what will her wish be' what do we do if she becomes immortal, do we have a plan for…' it was endless bantering and pointless. What happened happened. There was no time to plan out every single aspect of a fight, he didn't have the luxury when fighting the Ice-Lings and he came out on top. Now it was time for him to finally do what he'd created for, what his existence was built around.

"LEOCHT-!" Broly's voice bellowed his arm rearing back as he saw the white haired woman standing before the base of the large dragon. He recognized her, the stolen body of Kakarot's mate. Whatever her name was, Broly knew her for what was inside of that damn body. The seer that had tricked and betrayed him.

Her head snapped towards him, her face twisted in anger and a hint of panic. She's not expecting me! It was almost too much fun. His lips peeled back into a twisted grin, he was on the path to war and nothing could stop him now.

Phasing he leapt once twice, three times until he was slamming his massive boots along the ground.

"Not yet you damn brute!" White's voice shouted as she turned towards the oncoming saiyan who was now seconds away from her. Her eyes flicked back up towards Porunga, the dragon's name and password she was waiting for it to confirm her wish.

"Your wish-! The ability to create-!" He was cut off or more, that her ability to hear was cut off as Broly slammed into her. His dumbbell sized fist hit her guard which she managed to block with her hand but Broly's momentum could not be abated, his legs still pumping he plowed her feet through the ground sending her hundreds of meters back as he continued to just keep stomping his feet. Until they were nearly half a kilometer away from the great dragon.

"Don't run, give me what I want!" Broly drew one fist back only to be hit head swiftly by a counter. She was fast… but she lacked that same force that he had. His head was knocked to the side and then she pushed into him her knee catching him in the chest then quickly kicking him down. She then took to fly only to have her ankle grabbed by Broly.

"I don't think so!" His white eyes radiating as he took her body and slammed her into the ground. Whipping her about, she wasn't going to run from him.

She wrenched her leg free from the saiyans grasp, flipping backwards onto the ground she looked at Broly was now between her and her next to wishes. Their focus shifted between the large dragonand the even larger obstacle in her way. She could also feel Vegeta coming closer, he was but a minute or two away. She needed just a bit more time. "Stand down Broly, I can give you an even greater fight if you let me get to that dragon. I promise."

Broly just threw his head back and laughed. "You promise me many things creature, but I don't appreciate being lied to!" His tongue rolled out, licking his eager lips. "I want you, here and now!" Bracing his one foot he lowered into a semi sprinter's stance.

White didn't have time for this! Leocht was still dealing with Chi-Chi and her thrall hadn't stopped them as planned. This was not unfolding as she had foreseen. "Damnit, I'll just have to take that risk then." Focusing inwardly she reached inside of her, 'Come forth Leocht leave her be for now. I have need your powers.'

Her eyes soon exploded into a brilliant gold as she then smirked and charged Broly. Stop me when I know everything that you can do! Leaping over the saiyan's charge she swung her leg back around as he passed under her, hitting him square in the back of the head knocking him face first into the ground. When he shoved upwards his hand burning with green ki, she had already ducked down. His face suffered another harash two punch combo disorientating him just enough for her to shove his own hand into his face, the explosion making the saiyan roar in pain as the assault forced him to roll over backwards.

White jumped into the air and began to bombard him with attacks, forcing the legendary to cover up as she struck where his guard wasn't. Charging up massive boulder sized ki blasts and driving them downwards like rockets.

Pinning him down just enough until she moved to the side just enough- Vegeta's foot missed her back by inches. Her fist punched the back of his knee sending him twisting forwards, off-balanced White continued her assault hammering the prince who attempted to surprise her. "I see all, I know all Vegeta." She announced as the prince bore witness to the golden glowing eyes staring at him.

"Then shut up and fight!" his punch was ducked and she caught the over extended arm and hurled him down towards the ground. As she did her right hand was already charging up a secondary energy attack that fired off to the side of where she threw the prince.

Broly jumped right into it, slamming him back down into the ground with a crevasse opening up beneath him.

"There's no chance in defeating me. Submit to my will and I may spare those you care about. Though I know you won't… because you both are just too stupid and stubborn, it's the price of knowing every single future and reality that is now." Her lips twisted into a smirk as both saiyans jumped back up into the air now attempting to surround White.

Broly's face was already scorched while Vegeta had a small trail of blood coming down from his lip. "HAAA-!" throwing up his hand the burst of energy was dodged as White pulled to the side only to flip upwards as Vegeta moved to counter. Kicking the prince across the face she then flew away, as Broly pursued her.

Both were struggling to buy time, for what exactly they couldn't know. Allowing Leocht's powers to infiltrate their minds would help them little. Yet that didn't help much when facing off against a powered up woman who knew every action you would make and foresee the future of any action she would make against you.

[***]

Bardock floated in the air, his enthralled blood now staring across from him, both were mirrors of the other. "I'll give you one chance to fix your shit right now son."

"Nothing is ever good enough for you father." Goku's eyes were still slightly clouded as he stared into the face of Bardock. He hadn't wanted it to come to this, but unfortunately his father apparently wasn't going to let it go. "Why do you insist on trying to ruin something that I enjoy! Twice on Vegeta-sei and now once again here. Leave my family alone!"

"You better start listening to me boy! I don't want to beat sense back into you, but as your father I know what has to be done even if you are under some witches spell." Bardock warned as he saw the way his son was approaching him, he didn't know what the hell he was talking about. Well he did- But it didn't appear that his son was actually listening to him. "It's not like the boy can really hear me. Perhaps a good few blows to the head will snap him out of it." He hadn't come here to crush his son's head in-he had already seen that-, but if he had too, then so be it. Gine could get angry at him later for caving their cubs head in.

Still his son drew closer, "Damnit Kakarot! Stop letting that bitch control you!" His father shouted and for a split second his son stopped. Was there conflict? Bardock felt there might be the minor hope that his son was actually capable of listening to reason.

Drawing his hands up to his head Goku struggled, all of this was wrong or was it right? Everything in his brain was screaming at him to fight his father. But why? Why did he want to fight him, his father didn't outright attack his family. He'd never done that before… "But why now? Why!?" Goku's hands squeezed along his head. Flashbacks of how it was still Leocht and Chi-Chi and their son… he had been fine. But then… "Arghhh!" He screamed, his long fingers raked down the sides of his face.

"Kakarot! Get a grip- You just think you can will me away?" The voice shifted, a distorted version of his father into that which had been his torment. "Come on Kakarot do you think you can just leave? Didn't I warn you what would happen?" It wasn't his father anymore, it was the demon taking control of his love. White was there mocking him again. "Oh poor boy, just can't seem to handle it. Don't worry I'm sure there will be some strapping young men who will happily take your place." She chided him, goading the saiyan with the promise of being a submissive cuckold. "But don't worry you'll be more than pleased to know that I will let you watch, you will get to see every single new life this body creates and know that you are responsible for it." She was mocking him, taunting him.

"Kakarot, wake up damit!" There was a voice calling out to him, was it his father or even more tricks being placed upon his mind? Yet just as he heard one voice it was White again. "Come on Goku. Fight me and maybe you might prove your not so worthless after all."

'What is real? What is fake? Why!? Why!?'- "WHHHHY-?" He bellowed his eyes engulfed by the power of Leocht's mental prowess. But it wasn't complete and Goku's awareness of being manipulated was a strain to control. Yet he saw White, the woman he hated, who wore the skin of Chi-Chi but had nothing but that! She was a fake, a liar, and nothing like the woman he loved.

With a resounding rawr of defiance, Goku threw up his hands and charged the smirking visage of White.

Bardock's own fist connected with his sons. "Damnit, get a hold of your-" His son's other fist came around and clocked him in the side of the face. Knocking him dizzy for a moment, 'You forced my hand!' Bardock answered with a sharp elbow to the chest. His wrist snapping upwards with his knuckles catching his son in the face.

The sharp backhand only sent Goku into a rage, driven by saiyan instinct to fight, Goku recovered and the two exchanged a flurry of blows. The adapted style of his earth and saiyan years met his father's veteran years.

"Can't keep up?" White's voice taunted him, painted over the image of his father, Goku spat angrily, rearing back for one hammer blow only to be hit in the gut by a sharp kick. A series of fast punches before a roundhouse kick straight to the head sent him plummeting towards the ground.

The rock and blue gass landed around him, but he wasn't given a reprieve White was already on top of him her hands grabbing at his shoulders.

"Damnit son! Snap out of it!" Bardock gave him a hard shake. "This isn't you son, snap out of it! Think about your own son, think about your woman! Are you going to let her play with your mind are you that weak to let yourself be controlled like a puppet?"

His son's hands grasped at his wrists and met the same fierce snarl with one of his own. Burning teal resonated in burning teal, though one could not see it. Bardock felt his grip begin to be pulled away as his own son began to push him away all the while he began to babble about Chi-Chi. "I'll get her back, you won't be able to keep her from me!"

Whatever delusion she had put on Kakarot was having an effect on his sanity.

Bardock snapped one hand free. He started wailing on his son's face. "Snap out of it! SNAP OUT OF IT!" He screamed over and over each punch landing flush in the same spot. If his son didn't wake up a concussion might at least help with the process of incapacitating him.

Goku's vision was only filled with the blurred vision of white hitting him again and again. She was mocking and taunting him as she busted his lip open and cracked his skull next.

Then he saw the world flicker. Where the light and darkness met in between.

"Where are you Leocht? Vitae!? I know you can hear me, come back out!?"

Standing against the wall that held her back, Chi-Chi's fingernails were bleeding, the exposed flesh blistered and raw. She hit her head against the barrier, even if this was just some type of mental projection it felt real.

She didn't have an idea of time, she couldn't see outside. Ever since her tormentors had departed suddenly during her fight she didn't have any clue what was going on. Even worse was she knew that if she had been drawn away it was because something serious was happening. Was she on Namek could she have made her wishes yet? Then what about Goku and their son? Her friends? She needed to know something!

How long was this torture going to last and how long would she be able to hold out until Vitate consumed her mind. Where she was nothing more than a vessel for her wills. Her head dragged along the walls edge smearing her tears and blood along the cracked and chipped stone wall.

Her tears began to run down her face, every bit of it felt real, the pain and agony of a body being beaten.

"What else!? What else can you take from me! How much more do I have to sacrifice? What more can I possibly give?"

As she lay against the wall she felt a presence return to her. She didn't turn back to look at it, her sorrow quickly transforming into anger.

"Do you want to be free?" Leocht was once against speaking to her. "There is a price… but are you willing to pay it?"

Chi-Chi pulled herself back up to her feet, but her head did not turn back around. Was this Vitae's doing or was it Leocht? Another pull at her mind, another way of wearing down her resistance to the control that was placed upon her?

"Freedom is nearly there for her, Vitae nearly has what she wants. Her first wish granted her the ability to shape and create life. Of course creating a new body isn't that easy, she could start mutating your body. But lucky for you I convinced her not to do any of those things. Changing you would break the link you have with your powers and weaken her."

She was speaking with that all knowing uppity tone, forcing her ideals down the throats of people who disagreed with her. Acting like she was the I know better than you, when she is the reason for all of this.

"I know you're listening to me, and even if you were trying to ignore me-" 'I can just project my thoughts into your mind.'

That caused Chi-Chi to turn her head towards Lecoht's form. Peering out from between the locks of her hair.

"This will be your final sacrifice, well." paused to release a snort of laughter. She seemed to fix her hair. "It won't be your sacrifice, it will be the life of the person who loves you the most. Doesn't that sound like a fair deal?" Her lips peeled back into a twisted smile.

Chi-Chi lost it and she shrieked in outrage rushing the figure but the seer's image faded away before she even got close.

'Think hard you might only get one shot at this and don't worry if it's Goku or your son… you've already killed one of them already!' Her voice broke out into harrowing laughter leaving Chi-Chi alo-

"Chi-Chi?"

"G-Goku?"
