"We have another dimensional portal opening!"

"How many reinforcements can Academia send?!"

Kaiba and Kisara along with Mokuba were watching from Reiji's office at Leo Corp.

"Then this is it." Kaiba replied. "Our last stand."

"We'll move all the refugees." Mokuba said.

"How long can the dome last?" Kisara replied.

"It didn't hold up when Academia last came here…. all it can do is slow them down." Kaiba replied. "I'll make sure everyone's in place."

…

"Our last target is within that city." Leo said.

"It must feel good to be home right, sir?" Edo replied as he stood beside Leo on the far distance of the city amid the destruction of the Standard Dimension.

"I left this world a long time ago before I realized what my true purpose was…. this place is nothing to me now." Leo answered.

Behind Leo gathered many Obelisk Force and Obelisk Blue students.

"We know our target…. let's go get it!"

"We're inside and safe." Ruri said as she and Yuto entered a vault on the bottom floor of Leo Corp.

"Understood." said Kaiba via her duel disk as the metal door shut itself, leaving Ruri and Yuto inside the lengthy room with a table and chairs.

"What if I change?" Yuto said.

"I can open the vault from the inside. But you won't." Ruri reassured.

"Academia are here…. for me…. I can feel Dark Rebellion!"

"Which is why you need to focus on you, Yuto! Yourself! Not a dragon!"

"I…. I know but…."

"But nothing! We have everyone guarding us!"

Leo

"Fire!" Leo ordered as his forces all fired Ancient Gears in a co-ordinated attack. The blasts slammed into the force field before dissolving.

"It still won't budge…." Edo gritted his teeth.

"Not with this!" Leo put out his hand and his palm lit up purple from the energy he took from Starving and Elisia. The Ancient Gears lit up in the energy. "Fire now!"

Each Ancient Gear fired once again and this time their blasts struck the force field causing a mass spark around the dome. The force field faded away as the strikes had weakened it.

"Now go!" Leo commanded as his forces charged into Miami City.

On top of a building appeared Tsukikage. The ninja saw the group and he hit his duel disk.

"They're in. Academia has breached. At least twenty."

"Understood. Are you ready?"

"More than ready!" Behind Tsukikage was Shark who punched his fists.

"We can distract a few of them." Haruto added.

"We're defending Leo Corp. You focus on that." Kaiba replied.

….

Leo and Edo walked towards the Leo Corp tower with the rest of the Obelisk troops behind them.

"Seems we have several of our troops in duels." Edo said as he looked at his duel disk.

"Fine. It just means Leo Corp won't be as strongly defended!"

"And you'll have less attacking!"

Edo, Leo and the rest of the Academia squad looked around in confusion as they saw a figure walked out from an alleyway.

"It's you…."

"Shun Kurosaki!" he yelled back. "A single Resistance member won't stop us!" "He's more skilled than that." Leo said. "Edo, you take him." "Understood." Edo said. "Go on... let's see you try to pass!"

On top of a rooftop was Anna along with Luna.

"They're everywhere!" An Obelisk Force yelled.

Anna and Luna leapt down and activated their duel disks.

"Looks like some of your Obelisk goons will need to duel us!" Luna yelled.

Three Obelisk Force locked their duel disks onto Luna and Anna.

"The rest of us will take to Leo Corp, Edo, the rest of you… take these down!"

"Yes sir!" they all yelled as Leo and the rest of his squad walked past the duelists with Shun looking on knowing he couldn't do anything more.

"Luna, Anna… you okay with them?" Shun asked.

"Easy as anything!" Anna smirked.

"Come on, Shun! Your focus is me!" Edo replied.

"I play Destiny Fusion to fuse Disk Commander and Drawhand from my deck!"

"From the deck?"

"But the clause is that I'm only able to Special Summon Dark Hero Monsters and the Fusion Monster is destroyed at the end of the next turn. Now become one and reign in the pitch-black future! Fusion Summon! Come on! Destiny HERO - Dystopia!" He was a mighty hero in a purple outfit with yellow markings. His mask was yellow with a red "D" on his forehead.

"I can inflict damage to you equal to a level four or lower Monster's attack in my graveyard when it's Special Summoned! I hit you with Drawhand's 1600 attack!"

Dystopia launched into the air and fired a dark blast at Shun, causing him to flinch.

"Then I draw! I use the Continuous Spell Raidraptor – Nest! If I control two or more Raidraptors I can add a Raidraptor Monster to my hand from my deck or graveyard. Next I summon Mimicry!" Mimicry was an orange mechanic bird.

"If I control a Raidraptor I can summon Heel Eagle!" A sliver plated Raidraptor emerged with purple wings.

"I use Nest's effect! I add Fuzzy Lanius andI can summon this it if I control a Raidraptor!" Another mechanical bird came to the field expect this one was purple and with blue plates.

"I overlay my two Lanius'! I Xyz Summon Force Strix!" A golden and blue eagle was now summoned. It had the mechanic look of the previous Raidraptors and it had green like lights on its joints. It was circled by purple beams.

"I use Force Strix effect! I detach one overlay unit to add another Raidraptor to my hand! I choose Singing Lanius!" The overlay unit disappeared and Shun took the card from his deck.

"Now I banish Mimicry! Since I used that Monster as the overlay unit, I can banish it the turn it was sent to the graveyard to add a Raidraptor Card! I choose Raidraptor - Readiness. Next I use the Spell Raidraptor Call! I target Heel Eagle and now I can summon a second one from my deck!"

"I overlay my two Heel Eagles! Emerge Fiend Eagle!" A small black mechanical bird appeared with red tips.

"I use an overlay unit and I'll inflict the same effect you did to me!"

"What do you mean?!" Edo replied.

Fiend Eagle OU: 1

"I can hit you with Dystopia's attack as damage!" Shun yelled as Fiend Eagle fired missiles from its tips which struck Edo.

"I useRank-Up-Magic Skip Force! I rank up Force Strix by two! I Xyz Summon rank six, Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon!" A black armoured Raidraptor emerged. It had blue central amour with red markings.

"I use one of his effects! I can destroy one of your Monsters and you take damage equal to its attack!"

"Trying the same thing again?! I use my Quick Play set Spell De-Fusion to splitDystopia!" Dystopia split into two figures. Disk Commander was a humanoid wearing a white and blue bodysuit while Drawhand was a figure white coat with a purple scarf. Both appeared in defence."

"Fine… I attack with Fiend Eagle and Falcon!" Shun ordered as Heel wiped out Disk Commander and Heel took out Drawhand. "I set one card!"

"Draw! I play Over Destiny! I target a Destiny Hero in my graveyard and summon a Destiny Hero from my deck with equal or less than halve of the targeted HERO! I choose Dystopia which allows me to summon level four Drilldark!"A thin light and dark brown humanoid appeared with drills for fingers and drills on his hips.

"I use my second Trap! D-Fusion! "I fuse all three Destiny Heroes on my field! I Fusion Summon Destiny HERO – Dominance!" Each of the HEROS launched into the Fusion whirlpool.

Emerging from the sky was a huge sliver sword which landed in the ground. The sword sparked with light blue lighting as a huge knight wearing purple armour and a cape appeared next to it.

"I use his first effect to look at my top five cards of my deck and arrange them in any order I want!" Edo took the cards and placed them back in the way he wanted.

Shun looked further up the road and saw that Luna and Anna were still holding their own in thei duels against Obelisk Force.

"Excuse me; put your focus over here!" Edo smirked.

"You know this is all useless, right? This whole town has refugees from every dimension you ruined… those dimensions are still very much alive!"

"We didn't need to turn everyone into cards. Those who did will be spared the true pain really…."

"True pain?"

"Did you think wiping out five dimensions and creating a whole new one wouldn't hurt?! Everything will disappear!"

"You sick freaks…." Shun replied.

"I have had comrades fall as well…. you have no right to preach to me!"

"You ruined Heartland!"

"And the war ruined the Fusion Dimension before Leo appeared! My father was killed by a madman from Yusho's resistance! If I have to suffer… others can as well! Now I use the Spell, Rank Infection!"

"That card?!"

"How else could Fusion wipe out so many Xyz?! If I control a Fusion Monster all Xyz Monsters are switched to attack position if they aren't already and their attack and defence are reduced to zero!"

Both Fiend Eagle and Revolution lit up in purple light.

"I attack with Dominance!"

"I won't fall here! My Trap Raidraptor – Readiness stops my Monsters from being destroyed in battle this turn!"

"But you'll take the damage!" Dominance launched his sword against Field Eagle.

"I banish Readiness!"

"A second effect?!"

"This stops me taking damage from battle!"

"Regardless… Rank Infection remains in play! I end my turn with two face down cards."

"Correct but it only affects the Xyz Monsters which were on the field when you played it!"

"I Xyz Summon using Singing, Strangle and Fuzzy! Emerge Raidraptor - Rise Falcon!" A large purple armoured bird came to the field. It had sharp spikes on its wings.

"From the clutches of defeat to a new Xyz… no wonder you survived!"

"Rise can attack all your Special Summoned Monsters! Next I use an overlay unit!"

"Attack!" Shun yelled as Rise Falcon shot forward in a burst of flames at Dominance.

The blaze slashed across Dominance wiping it out.

"Dominance's effect! When destroyed I summon three Destiny Heroes which are level nine or lower from my graveyard with different names!"

"Three?"

"Return Dystopia, Disk Commander and Drilldark in defence!"

Rise Falcon dissolved as a force field blocked the Raidraptor from attacking.

"I'm not done! I use the Quick Play Spell Rank-Up-Magic Raptor's Force! I summon a Xyz Monster destroyed this turn and rank it up by one!"

"I Xyz Summon using Rise Falcon!" Shun raised his hand as Rise Falcon flew into the Xyz portal. Flying down was a black and red Raidraptor.

"It's still the Battle Phase and Blaze can attack directly!" Blaze unloaded its wings and fired missiles at Edo which sent him flying.

"Falcon's effect! When he inflicts battle damage I can destroy a Monster. I wipe out Dystopia!" Falcon fired into the air and unleashed more missiles which reined around the Fusion Monster. It succumbed to the blasts.

"You don't give up… do you?!"

"And I'm not stopping there… Falcon's other effect requires an overlay unit!"

"I destroy all Special Summoned Monsters on your field and hit you with 500 damage!"

"I'll use my other Trap! D – Exchange! I send a Destiny Hero from my hand to the graveyard to return a Spell Card! I send Destiny Hero – Decider to return Fusion Destiny!"

"What are you playing at?!" Shun yelled.

"This! Decider can return from my graveyard to my hand to make effect damage zero!" Edo took the card which came out of his duel disk and Falcon's missiles faded.

"Ha… if the state of five dimensions weren't on the line…. this duel would be quite fun…." Shun smirked.

"This is war! There's no room for fun!"

"I… have no other choice… switch Fiend Eagle and Revolution Falcon to defence…." Both Eagle and Falcon were turned sideways but they both turned purple before exploding. Shun covered his face.

"You remembered Rank Infection's other effect!"

"I take 300 damage if I try to switch them to defence… yes I do. But it's better than having two zero attack Monsters in attack position on my field. I end my turn with a face down."

"Then I'm up! Draw! I use Destiny Fusion again! I send Destiny Hero Celestial and Departed from my deck to summon a second Dystopia!"

"Dystopia's effect! I hit you with Celsetial's 1600 attack!"

Dystopia leapt into the air and fired another dark ball at Shun which sent the Xyz user flying across the street.

"I can't fail here…." Shun said as he stuttered his way back. As he did he saw Anna and Luna finish off their respective duels against Obelisk Force, sending the defeated army back to Academia.

"Shun!" Anna yelled.

"I'm good…. stick to the plan….!" Shun replied while holding his battered left arm with his right.

"We're not leaving you!" Luna yelled.

"How cute, your Resistance friends stay with you to the end!" Edo replied. "I use Polymerization to fuse Dystopia with the Decider in my hand! Appear, Dusktopia!" Both Dystopia and Decider flew into the sky. From it shone a golden light which was clear to see for miles. As the light faded a golden armoured warrior emerged.

Destiny Hero – Dusktopia ATK: 3000 DEF: 3000 Dark/Warrior/Fusion/LVL 10

"I attack with Dukstopia! Strike down Blaze Falcon!"

"I use my Xyz Strength! When a Fusion, Ritual, Xyz, Pendulum or Synchro attacks my Xyz Monster, my Monster doubles its attack and yours is halved!"

"That's our strength!" Anna yelled.

"I won't let it end like this! I send Dynatag from my hand to make any battle damage zero…. any we both take 1000 damage!"

"What?!"

When Edo sent the card to his graveyard a massive flame ball exploded in the middle of the two.

As the explosion cleared Shun looked around as did Luna and Anna. Edo had escaped.

Leo Corp

Kaiba and Rio stood at the entrance of Leo Corp as the man himself looked in. He was flanked by six Obelisk Force.

"We have to protect Yuto…. at all costs…" Rio said.

"I'm sure your friend Ruri can hold off anyone…." Kaiba replied. "We just need to hold them off until the others come back…."

Leo stepped forward as the sliding doors opened. Following him were the Obelisk Force.

"Kaiba, nice to see you again." Leo said.

"You're not having Yuto." Rio yelled.

"I know you…. you're the leader of the Resistance!" Leo answered.

"Shall we jump straight into our duel then?" Kaiba said to Leo.

"I already beat you…. I'm not leaving with the Xyz Dragon." Obelisk Force behind Leo activated their duel disks.

"I thought you would try to avoid me so…." Kaiba hit his duel disk and Leo's duel disk begun to activate.

"Automatic Duel"

"I've been looking into Academia duel disks…. working out a way to reverse the carding effects…. I was able to reverse-engineer this little feature your duel disks have! If you try to leave the duel, you'll continue to suffer pain!" Kaiba hit back.

"You're really going to threaten me with pain? I didn't think that was like you, Kaiba?" Leo smirked.

"So you won't try to run?"

"I have no need for childish playthings!" Leo begun to walk towards Kaiba as the shocks from his duel disk started.

"How….?"

"I'm King Leo reincarnated…. my purpose is much bigger than I first thought it was…. and no one will get in my way!"

As Leo passed Kaiba, Rio tried to stop him but before she could Obelisk Force had started their own Automatic Duel. Since Rio walked further away she was zapped to the floor.

"Rio!" Kaiba yelled.

"I'm…. fine…."

"We're stuck…." Kaiba replied.

"I know where you would hide the Xyz Dragon… there's only one vault." Leo affirmed.

"Ruri…. Leo…. is coming for Yuto…." Kaiba said as he communicated via his duel disk.

Vault

"Understood….."

"Ruri, please just go!" Yuto said. "I'll duel him!"

"And let you get taken? Not a chance, Yuto."

"Ruri!"

"Yuto!" Ruri shouted. Ruri barley raised her voice but when she did, you knew it was important. "I'm not letting you go."

Appearing beside Ruri was the angel duel spirit who was half black and half white with long wings.

"I won't allow you or Dark Rebellion to be taken... unlike Fiona."

"Even when you say that name…. I can feel Dark Rebellion's anger…" Yuto clenched his chest.

"And once this war is over, we'll try to get the old Dark Rebellion back…. Fiona, me, the rest of all of us…."

"Like Samurai, Ray's spirit… your lover." Ruri smiled.

"I long for the days of old…."

As Ruri was caught up in conversation they had failed to hear the footsteps outside the vault door.

Leo put his hand on the vault door and using his collected power the vault to open.

As it did Leo saw Ruri already standing ready with her duel disk. Leo stepped inside.

"There you are." Leo said as he saw Yuto in the corner.

"You'll need to get past us first." Ruri said.

"I know! It'll be great warm up to duel Dark Rebellion!" Leo smirked.

"Get ready, Ruri." Uriel said.

"Yes! Let's duel!"

"I'll start! I set scale one Celestial Tech Emperor Caesar and scale eight Celestial Tech Emperor Alexander!" Alexander was a warrior wearing a black militaristic outfit. It had yellow tassels on the edge of his suit but with a robotic head and Caesar was a sliver robot wearing a toga and a wreath crown.

"I Pendulum Summon Utopia!" Utopia had golden amour with shinning wings on the back but it had gears around its joints.

"I'm up!" Ruri drew. Since I control no Monsters, Lyrilusc - Turquoise Warbler can appear!" A Monster with a human face but a bird body appeared. She had yellow wings with blue tips.

Lyrilusc - Turquoise Warbler ATK: 100 DEF: 0 Winged Beast/Wind/LVL 1

"When Warbler is summoned like this, I can bring out another Lyrilusc from my hand! Appear Lyrilusc - Cobalt Sparrow!" Another female bird came, this time it had blonde like hair and had brown wings. It had yellow claws for feet.

"When she's Special Summoned I can add a level one Winged Beast to my hand from my deck! I add Lyrilusc - Sapphire Swallow. And since I control a Winged Beast on the field I can summon it!" Another girl appeared but in a blue bird outfit.

"Overlay! I Xyz Summon rank one, Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale!" The whirlpool had a beam of light rise from it as a taller female bird arose. It shinned in the light as it revealed it's long white and blue wings. It had a sort of dress with golden sections which went over her bird like legs. Four overlay units spun around it.

"She gains 200 attack for each overlay unit!"

"Yes… I recall hearing from Serena about this duel."

"My Lyrilusc are much tougher than they appear! I play the Spell Lyrilusc - Bird Strike! I negate your Utopia's effect!"

"Why would you play that without knowing his effects?!"

"I'm not a fool, Leo! You're not the only one who has heard about the other's deck! Kaiba dueled you! You can tribute it to end the Battle Phase… as for your set card, I equip Lyrilusc – Nest! If my Lyrilusc has two or more overlay units, you can't activate set cards when I attack!"

"You prepared well…."

"Assembly can attack X the amount of overlay units…. and those attacks will be direct!" Ruri pointed "Go!"

Assembly slammed his wings together which sent a shockwave to Leo, slamming him in the chest.

"I set one card and end my turn!"

"Then I'll reply with my own set card!" Leo said. "Celestial Chain! When I take battle damage, during the End Phase, I can summon a Pendulum Monster from my deck! Appear Tech Celestial Neos!" A white alien warrior with a steel spike on its head emerged. It robotic plating on its chest.

"Good job, Ruri…." Yuto said as he begun to feel calmer.

"Taking a good lead will help Yuto remain himself." Uriel said.

"You know I can see your duel spirits as well now…." Leo replied.

"Then know this…. you caused hell in our world!"

"From what I can remember it was your leading angel Ciel who took my life… what the dragons did in reaction wasn't down to me…."

"You were called the crazy king for a reason!"

"And I shall soon reclaim that title!"

"I draw! Neos allows me to Fusion Summon without a Fusion Card!" Leo clenched his hands and both robotic Monsters merged. "Appear Charlemange!"A king who wore a blue battle suit with a yellow cape emerged. Like the others, he had a robotic feature. This Monster had android eyes.

"I play the Continuous Spell Celestial Reign! While I have a Celestial Fusion Monster on my field, I can destroy Spell or Traps equal to the amount of Pendulum Monsters on my field then I can draw that many! I have two so I wipe out your Nest and set card!"

"I summon Tech Celestial Jinzo!" Appearing was a humanoid in a green lab coat with a high collar. He had a long purple cape.

"I use his effect! It allows me to negate a Monster's effect on the field and you can't reply to this! I negate your Assembly Nightingale!" Jinzo fired an electrical wave from his hands and Assembly yelled as she was struck.

"Your Monster could use an overlay unit to make damage zero… now you'll take this all head on!"

"Ruri!" Yuto yelled as Charlemange fired a similar electrical shock at Ruri which sent her flying across the vault floor.

Ruri LP: 4000 – 1000

"Jinzo attacks directly!"

"No!" Yuto held his head as the shocks of Dark Rebellion begun to fill his mind.

"I won't let it end this way…." Ruri said. "I banish the Trap you sent to the graveyard! Lyrilusc – Harmony! I banish it to negate a direct attack!"

As Jinzo fired the shockwave Ruri had her Lyrilusc reappeared to make a barrier which absorbed the blast.

"I won't let you have Yuto…. not under any circumstance!" Ruri yelled.
