"Have you got them yet?" Brett asks.

"Stay still Brett you're wobbling! Fuck! The lengths you go to for Mason...literally!" Lori moaned.

"Look...What I do for him...or to him, or with him, is none of your business!" Brett groaned.

"Really? So why am I standing on your head crawling up a tree" Lori said.

"Because you didn't want to clean Satomi's ornament cabinet and you don't have a date tonight"

"Point taken" Lori huffed.

She wasn't literally "Standing on his head" She was sitting on his shoulders. This Brother/Sister tree climbing only happened because Mason wanted Roses. It all started at Sinema, as usual. Brett had chased away yet another loser from him and Mason was by himself for pretty much the whole night. Brett would have stayed with him, all night, but he quickly got chatted up by this Brunette hottie, called Chloe.

"I can take you out to eat if you want" Brett told Mason.

"No way, she's into you, have fun. I'm just...gonna go to the bar" Mason said pulling himself up and walking away quickly.

He could tell that Mason was too embarrassed to talk to anyone. He brought this Chloe drinks. He danced with her and made out with her in a secluded area. His hands were all over her. Kissing her neck and heaving her perfume in by the mouthful.

"What's your number big boy?" She asked rubbing his ass.

Brett was enjoying the feeling. Chloe was upfront. He liked that. He was about to tell her when he saw Mason leaving the club out of the corner of his eye. Without thinking his prised Chloe's hands away from his lower body and ran towards Mason. He caught up with him and grabbed his attention...by tripping over the stairs. Smooth.

"Shit!"

"Brett are you okay, where's Chloe?"

"Who cares, why are you leaving?" Brett asked.

A concerned whine slithered out of his mouth, but Mason was too distracted by his own lonliness to notice. They both walked up the stairs to the car park. He saw Mason Tense up as Brett got out his keys.

"I'm gonna walk home"

"In the dark?" Brett asked.

"Why not?" Mason shrugged.

Brett paused and asked himself the same thing.

Actually he didn't. He just thought of time alone with Mason and left his car. He'd pick it up later. For once he was glad he was living in the danger streak of Beacon hills. He knew Mason would rely on him. Mason stayed by his side. It was easy for Brett to hold his wrist, then his hand. But that gesture ended when Mason got out his phone.

Damn modern technology.

Though it was another excuse to get into his personal space. He laughed gently at the clip that he was looking at.

"The Morely cheating scene? A romantic like you, like's that?" Brett asked.

"It's the part where Tracy brings home her lover to Morely. He embarrassed him by planning a romantic evening for her...See?" He says pointing at the Roses. Those Roses were a rare breed at the time., The Director Zingano went into a field and basically trespassed to get those Wild Roses in her scene. Isn't that cool"

"So she stole someone else's flowers?" Brett smiled.

"Yeah...but they look so cool scattered in a circle, like the ring he gives to Tracy later. I wish a Guy would get Roses for me" Mason says with a shrug.

Brett feels the longing that attacks Mason like a flu. Brett's optimistic about it. It proves that Mason hasn't given up on dating since that ass-hole Corey dumped him.

"Don't worry Mason, you're future lover will get you the flowers of your choice one day" Brett said putting a nervous arm around his shoulders.
