There were four types of dating, according to the book Athena was currently reading.

She was sitting on the couch, spending her time quietly on the office. Sometimes, she wanted to have some me-time, a time where she didn't have to spend any quality time with anyone. A time where she can do what she wants, alone, without people intervening and commenting. A time where she can reminiscent about the past, think deeper about her future life decisions, and see how she can improve herself to be better.

Athena was currently spending her alone time reading a random book on the local library. It's dedicated about busting myths about love, dating, and other things related to those.

The first type of dating is Inital Date, also known as Friendly Date. This is two people starts dating, either from romantic interest or just a regular lunch date. Family Date is also included in this type of dating.

So this was the first type of dating, huh? She always hanged out with either Simon, Boss, Apollo, or Trucy on lunch hour. That had to be an initial date. They only talked, ate meal, and had fun if there was a place to go explore and play. Some people mistook this kind of things as romantic, though. Did people even realize there's a difference? Athena shook her head, dispelling the thought away from her mind.

The second type of dating is Steady Date. This is where things are getting serious between two parties, and the love is bloom between them.

Athena was unsure whether to qualify this type of dating with Simon, but she rather not get her hopes too high. Like, she wasn't even sure if she's going to call him her senior, since at the same time, he didn't feel like an actual senior. In conclusion, she wasn't even sure what kind of relationship she had with him. One thing was sure, they had mutual feelings for each other, but no one would admit it soon. They had more serious things to tend to.

The third type, and the least pleasing kind, is Blind Date. Meeting up with a total stranger on an agreed place, with no way to know how the person actually looks like at all. Some people don't like this at all with the possibility of danger lurking in the background, as well as misconception of the person dating in reality.

Athena nodded her head. This was the ugly type of dating. She remembered almost trying an online dating site with the pressure of a block mate back in college. Man, it was a pain in the rear to get her off her back. She was thankful she didn't went on with it, because the said "guy" in question was an ugly mix of a gorilla and a dung.

Last, but not the least, is Group Date. There are more than two people involved in this date. They either socialize as a whole, or they go on the same place, but do various activities independently. They can be either platonic and/or romantic, depending on the relationship between parties.

Athena guessed she went on group dates by a lot. With her co-workers, with her friends... the list went on. Well, that sure was educational! Stretching her arms with a loud yawn, she placed the book on the table and stood up from her seat. It was time to go home and cook dinner for Simon. She was sick of Japanese takeouts they do every evening. She wanted something new to savor and devour.

Athena wondered if their relationship level will take a step forward in the future. Not now, but maybe few years later. She didn't want to rush things, and would rather not make him comfortable because of their age gap, and how people would take their relationship with their ages alone. Fate had been kind to her recently, so she had no doubt they'll get there soon.

A/N: Entry 2 for the day! Yes! Now for Day 3... which is Cosplay! I already draw one, but I don't think it counts because it's a different characters dressed up as them, but I'll see if I can write some crack this time around.
