Fandom: Pokemon

Characters: Ash

Other: Delia Ketchum

AN: Has six year old Ash, in the kitchen, without supervision.

Ash looked from the cookie ingredients to the utensils his mother left on the counter when she went to go get the mail, and spend a few minutes talking to the lady who delivered their mail.

It didn't look too hard. Ash saw his mother make cookies lots of times. So, he decided to finish the cookies for her.

So he got up on a chair and started to put the ingredients into the large bowl.

He broke the eggs, yok and a bit of egg shell getting into the mixture.

Soon he moved on to the sugar. He picked up the bag and poured it into the bowl, using at least half of it in the bowl. He unwrapped a cube of butter and dropped it into the soupy mixture.

He grabbed the wooden spoon and began to stir everything. He stirred a little too fast and the gooey mixture began to fall out of the bowl.

Soon it was good and soupy, and he tried to pick up the bowl, but it was too heavy and it slipped from his goo covered hands. The bowl shattered on the ground just as Delia made her way into the room.

Ash's big brown/gold eyes became bigger and watery when he looked at Delia's shocked face. The guilt overwhelmed him so much that he started crying.

Delia looked from the mess in the kitchen, to the broken bowl and messy floor before settling on her crying son who had goo all over himself.

"Ash, honey." Delia stepped around the mess and picked Ash up. "It's okay. Your not going to be in trouble. You tried to help, didn't you?"

Ash nodded. "I'm sorry!" He wailed, gripping her shirt.

Delia kissed his head. "Don't worry about it honey, that bowl was old anyway. Let's get you cleaned up, I'll pick this up later."

After bathing Ash and dressing him, setting him on the couch with the television playing a Pokemon related cartoon with the odd name of Digimon, Delia cleaned up the mess on the kitchen floor. Vowing to never again leave Ash alone in the kitchen. Never again.
