Wassup ya'll. I keep to my promises. Here's a prologue that I've been re-working for a bit. You'll notice that the tenses are different, the writing is a little more description-oriented, and no random All Might POV. I think I'm sticking with Midoriya here with the occasional omake of another pov stuck in. It's inevitable that the MHA world will collide with the AOT world again, but for now I agree with the many comments that the story should have a main focus on what Izuku is doing. Keep in mind that the portal will make a reoccurrence because I've already planned the ending out for this story.

CW: Little bit of self-endangerment, self-bashing, and overall very bad character traits making the plot swing into action.

Kohei Horikoshi owns MHA. Hajime Isayama owns AOT. I own this thing.

All Might is in danger. He needs to help him. No-one else knows his secret, nobody would help the number-one hero.

Only Izuku can help.

And he is running out of time to do that.

This is all that was on Izuku Midoriya's mind as he races towards the hero-in-distress, going as fast as his incapable legs could carry him. He had left his teacher, Aizawa-sensei, in the hands of his classmates, throwing all caution to the wind when he decided to leap into All Might's life-endangering fight. With the true essence of a hero, he is moving without hesitation or thought.

His peers shouted at him, trying to keep him away from the hazardous battle, but those words fell on deaf ears. It is tunnel vision for the young man. Only one objective in mind. One thing that wouldn't make him useless to his childhood idol.

"All Might!" Izuku cries, panting heavily from the long, over-done strides that he had made in his haste to reach the hero.

It can't end here. Not now. The thought strikes him like a snake, filling his veins with poisonous adrenaline that threatens to goad him towards his potential demise.

The hero shifts his head slightly towards the direction of his prized disciple. The man is struggling, but no one notices. They all believe in him, to the point where they think he is invincible. They are dead wrong. All Might knows that, and he is letting the façade melt away this time.

Just for a moment, perhaps. His eyes tell the whole story in an instant when they connect with Izuku's.

All Might is secured in Noumu's steel-like clasp. He is struggling with all his power, but his attempts are to no avail. His body is being held mid-air by the bird-brained monstrosity, gripping him strongly around the injured and tender skin that covers his midsection: the one and only chink in his impenetrable armor.

His hero is petrified. Whether out of fear of pain, Izuku doesn't know.

And he's terrified.

"I'm here!" Izuku yells at the top of his lungs, rushing towards his idol, teacher, and dear companion.

The green-haired boy makes a leap after his last stride, flailing his limbs around as he approaches his mentor. He is so close, only a few feet away...

In just seconds, the purple, gaseous villain phases into reality in front of Izuku, completely blocking his vision of All Might.

"How foolish," the villain states, voice cold as ice. He seems unimpressed, almost bored by Izuku's fatal blunder. "Throw your life away, then. He'll still die."

The world is at a standstill for Izuku, and it seems that all is lost in that paltry, asinine moment. He skips a heartbeat, and he doesn't dare to blink when facing the fiery black hell that swirls indifferently in front of his face, as if it is more than happy to consume him whole.

He'd been stupid, useless, a Deku at its finest. He is impulsive, and though it had won him so much, it had gotten him so far, it is now his downfall. Almost inevitable since he has the hindsight to look at it.

There is nobody coming to save him now. Not that it would matter anyway.

It seems like I really was useless after all…

Breathe in, breathe out. The screams of others blare in the air, assaulting his eardrums as he faces what seems like a quiet, almost silent, death.

Breathe in, breathe out. All he sees are the dancing flames of the warping villain, Kurogiri, a name he would remember into his last gasping moments if he ever lives to see them…

Breathe in, breathe out. The sound of breaking bones crackle from his left, and Izuku knows that All Might is fighting harder than ever to escape the Noumu's grip. A dry smile tugs at his lips, for all that effort.

It seems wasted, he almost mutters.

Breathe in, breathe out.

He is finally gone, and the world goes pitch black for an ominous moment.

What was, is, and what could have been are now all gone, gulped up into a void where dreams die and monsters are born. Screams and darkness and terror engulf Izuku and he feels himself drifting into insanity as the sounds grow louder and louder and the darkness finds a way to grow even blacker.

Yet, when the light returns to his vision and the sounds of agony die out– his own screams, he realizes– he is faced with only one thing:

Green.

I love reviews. I would appreciate some feedback, but please don't try to give me plot advice like some sort of passenger seat driver. I've already got my plans and insisting that I kill x character or ship y character with z is very unhelpful.

I hope to update this with a soon full on chapter, so keep tuned!
