"Welcome to Amity Collesium, If it is your first time tuning in with us then we shall explain the rules!" Professor Shiko exclaimed.

Professor Schnee scoffs as a hologram came to life.
"The Vytal Tournament takes place in three rounds, A 4v4 team round, a 2v2 doubles round, and several 1v1 single rounds. Each team will choose two to advance and then a single person to represent them for each round.

There are two ways to be eliminated during the round, it is either by Ring Out, by going out of the ring, or Aura Down, meaning if you reach a certain amount of aura you are eliminated. Each arena is made up of two different arenas."

"Now the fight between Team DARK of Beacon Academy and Team WHSM (Wisdom)

Introducing the teams. For team DARK they are:
Klein Seiban, Amber Bronzewing, Reese Chloris, and their leader Dove Bronzewing." Professor Shiko announced.

The crowd roared as Professor Schnee coughs.

"Introducing Team WHSM we have:
Melanie Malachite, Salem Witch, Hei Xiong, and Cardin Winchester."

Cardin sneered at his opponents, mace in hand. Melanie blew a kiss over, the blades on her feet glinting in the light. Junior held a bat, as he looked over at them. Salem was just simply watching them, hands behind her back.

Dove looked at his opponent, he tried to recall what he knew of them and which plan would work best. From what he could recall, Cardin had a bad temper while Junior and Melanie were subpar at best. It was Salem he had to watch out for as from what the Haven kids have told him, she was a powerful caster thanks to her semblance.

Amber confidently held her staff, Klein was a bit more reserved, his discs in hand. Reese was standing with her board ready to go and Dove had his sword out.

"The main problems will mostly be Salem and Cardin, We can knock Melanie and Junior out quick. Amber if you can blast the two of them out it would be ideal. I'll try to tank Cardin while Reese and Klein distract Salem." Dove laid out his plan.

"Got it love!" Reese cheered, Klein just nodded his head and Amber smirks. "Yay more people to hang out with, they seem like the people to go clubbing."

"Begin!" the announcers called and Amber rushes forward, Klein running off to the side while Reese went the opposite direction, cruising on her board. Dove ran forward alongside his sister.

Salem and Cardin stayed back, Salem bringing her hands forward as if to use her semblance. Junior let loose a barrage of rockets causing both Amber and Dove to scatter. Melanie swiftly running in to fight.

Dove grimaced as Melanie jumped at him, feet ready to kick his weapon away as he blocked. He pushed it to the side and attempted to strike with his sword but she used the momentum to go for a roundhouse kick, pushing him back.

"Melanie Malachite has taken the advantage, pushing Dove Bronzewing back!" Professor Schnee announces. True to his words, Dove withstood a barrage of kicks and leg-sweeps trying his best to stay standing, the strikes coming in far to fast for him to parry or counter.

Amber on the otherhand was busy fighting Hei, whose rocket launcher turned into a bat for close-quarter combat.

Reese and Klein attempted to do hit and run maneuvars but Salem and Cardin were able to hold them at bay.

The plan was falling to pieces.

Dove felt himself get kicked in the chest and he stumbled backwards, falling to the ground. Melanie tried to kick him while he was down but he rolled out the way and used a foot to trip the girl, causing her to tumble.

Dove scrambled to his feet and looked at his down opponent, hesitating to strike a girl while she was down, when a blast of wind sent a figure barreling past him, colliding with Melanie and sending both of them far enough for a ring out.

Dove looked over to Amber who smirked and they both focused on Cardin and Salem. Unfortunately for them, they saw Reese get smacked by Cardin's mace and she was sent flying out of the ring.

"Double knockout by Amber Bronzewing against Melanie Malachite and Hei Xiong. At the same time Cardin Winchester saves his team's dignity with a Double knockout of his own on Reese Chloris, Ring Out and Aura Down" Reese slammed her fist on the floor and collapsed.

Klein intelligently stepped away from the duo now that his attack partner had been knocked out and retreated to regroup with Amber and Dove.

An intense standoff between the two teams was now taking place as Salem started to prepare something, her hands glowing.

"How is their teamwork?" Dove asked Klein.

"Amazing, they cover each other quite well. We were only able to scratch them, neglible damage." Klein replied.

"We should hurry, we don't know what Salem is doing but it can't be good." Amber brought up.

"Lets do this, we just need Cardin out of the way then. Get him to the edge of the ring if we can."

"It appears that Salem Witch's Aura is depleting rapidly, it seems her semblance is taking a lot of aura from her! What could she possibly be doing?" Professor Shiko exclaims.

Dove, Klein and Amber rushed forward. Cardin smirks as he prepares his mace for another strike and Dove blocked the blow, Klein swiftly coming in and raking the armored man's side before kicking away.

Amber used Wind dust to force the duo to near the edge.

Cardin catching on what was going on pushed Dove to the side and with a powerful swing, caught Dove in the face, knocked Dove out of the ring and planting himself in the floor.

Amber grimaced as she watched her brother get ringed out.

"Whats this? Is that a grimm on the field?" Professor Shiko cried out, The focus Amber had suddenly turned to the center of the field where Salem finished whatever her semblance was doing. A Beringal pounded its chest and charged her.

"It seems that she has a creation semblance! Just like how Winter Schnee is able to produce several Nevermores and a Beowolf for her fight, it seems Salem can create a Beringal, grimm native to Mistral. Though the color is not to reassuring." Professor Schnee glares.

"It is unsettling for a creation to be so lifelike. For the Viewers at home just let it be known that this is a copy or look-alike, this is not a grimm but a puppet controlled by the Huntress Salem Witch here." Professor reassured the crowd.

Amber panicked and attempted to set it on fire.

To make the story short Amber was caught off guard by the sudden grimm and was soundly beaten down through Aura Down.

Klein had targetted Salem while the Beringal rampaged and also tagged her out through Aura Down.

However he had no resources to deal with a mostly full aura Cardin and promptly surrendered.

Dove was frustrated that they weren't able to advance to the next round. Frusterated might be putting it lightly as Dove beat up the counter he was sitting at. Reese attempting to soothe her boyfriend as the shop-owner glared at them.

"It could have gone better." Amber shrugged, gulping down her noodles.

"To think she could summon Grimm... What sort of absurd power is that? Is that even allowed in a festival to promote peace?" Dove lamented.

"They won fair and square, they made use of the power they had on them. The fact they had a guard on Salem and distracted our heavy hitters with their more agile fighters allowed them to out maneuver us." Klein put forth his thoughts.

"Its just absurd some of the semblances that can appear in this day and age..." Dove complained.

"There there, we'll get them next festival." Reese cheered, all of them watching the screen as they witnessed Henry Marigold get taken out of the ring, followed shortly by a competitor from Vacuo, courtesy of Ilia Amitola.

"Friendly fire! Ilia Amitola of Team WISH has just taken out one of her teammates!" Professor Shiko announces.

Dove grimaces at the sight while Amber wildly cheers them on.

"How is my favorite friends doing?" A blonde bombshell dropped in behind Dove, wrapping her arms around Dove.

"Hey Yang." Dove sighed.

"Hey Yang." Reese glared daggers at her competitor.

"Yang!" Amber blew a kiss. "Ms. Xiao-Long." Klein greeted.

"Wow tough crowd, come on live a little." Yang egged them on.

"If you hadn't noticed... we lost our bout." Dove lamented.

"Wow, its just a match, you got next festival." Yang pointed out.

"We will win next time!" Dove announced and Reese shrugged next to him.

"Of course we'll grow in two years, what about you Yang? How did your match go... I'd have watched it if my lovebird here hadn't sat us down to analyze all of our would be competitors."

"Ehhhh..." Yang thought back to her own match where she punched her opponent, sending him flying toward the his teammates as Flynt kept them in check, making them unable to communicate with all the noise he was making.

Penny further enforced their control with her flying blades. Oscar sat back like a good boy and barked orders, his cane at the ready if needed. Of course no unexpected events occured so they quickly mopped up their opponent and sent them out of the ring.

"It went quickly." She sighed. It really did end to quickly, she didn't even get to activate her semblance once. "I'm going to go celebrate with my team, sucks that you can't just our rad party." Yang teased. Waving good bye to the group she departed.

Reese watched as her friend left, her scroll buzzing diverted her attention and she looked at it to find it was her Mother.

She scoffs and ignores the call.

"Ignoring your busy phone? Should I be worried of an affair?" Amber asked.

"Nah, it was just my mom. She probably wanted to berate me for losing." She scowls.

"Sheesh, is she some sort of hardass mom that yells at you for everything?" Amber asked, a light tone to her words which quickly became silence as Reese looked away.

"Its okay Dove you'll have a new mom. I'll adopt you!" Amber suggested.

"A 17 year old mom huh? Were you pregnant while in the womb?"

"I'm sorry mam." The tender interrupted the two of them. "Your card has been declined."

"What?" Reese asked in disbelief.

"Now announcing the next match! Team KABG vs Team WAFN"

Team DARK turned their attention toward the screen. They may have lost their round, but it doesn't mean they wouldn't cheer on their sister team. The tender was annoyed at the lack of attention and promptly held their food back.

It wasn't long before one of them scarfed over some money for the food.

Another Chapter, and what a chapter it was. Realistically no one would be able to beat Salem, especially if a bumbling idiot like Cardin actually knew some strategy like puppyguard his most important teammate.

When I looked at the randomizer and saw these four were put as villains I laughed. Four villains, The Major Villain and three very minor villains. I wanted to give them an evil Team name but alas I had to stick to what I could do...
