I apologize with being two weeks late. I had finals and just focused on getting all those assignments done. But Ill get back on the once a week scheduled update. Hope you all enjoy this new update, I'll see you all next week.
With that, they walked to their rooms to freshen up and go to the bar
When they got to the hallway to go to their rooms and as they went their separate ways, Mal spoke up.
"Em, shouldn't you be going with Roni?" she smirked
"Why would I do that?" she asked in confusion
"Because you're together. Shouldn't you have already moved in with her?" Mal responded
All three women looked at each other but Roni was the one to speak up
"No, Emma is still staying with Regina."
"Em, you realize if you moved in with her, you wouldn't have to go to the lake to do everything right?" she laughed
Emma opened her mouth to respond but Ruby cut in
"Guuuys, go get ready. I wanna go drink with the scaly chicken. Gotta celebrate her coming back and it'll be the first time we all go to the bar together. Get a move on!"
Mal chuckled and allowed Ruby to push her towards her room on the far right of the hall
Emma and Regina entered the room together, Emma sat on the bed while Regina went to the closet
"We'll tell her tonight. I don't know what she's like when she's drunk and I don't want her pulling anything if she gets rowdy." Emma stated
"Hopefully we'll get that chance. Even if not, I'll stick by your side all night. The last time we drank is when she kissed me. I don't know about you but I only like one pair of lips on me and it isn't hers." Regina smirked
Emma smiled at the joke and walked up behind her and wrapped her arms around her waist.
With her lips against Regina's ear, she whispered. "Because you're mine. Always have been and always will be. Just as I am yours" she smiled as shivers ran throughout Reginas body
Regina turned in her grasp and pulled her into a kiss. She reached for Emma's hands and pulled them upwards to her dress buttons.
"Help undress me?"
Emma simply nodded and blindly unattached each and everyone until the dress slid off her shoulders and onto the floor. Leaving Regina in only her corset and panties
She pulled back and groaned at the sight in front of her.
Regina smirked and sauntered back into the closet, making sure to sway her hips as she moved.
She came back out with two different outfits.
In one hand was her black leather pants, black boots, matched with a blood-red leather coat that had cut off tails trailing down to her ankles.
The other was a black vest with a black leather skirt attached to it, paired with her black leather pants, black boots, and a black one-sided cape
"Which one?" she raised an eyebrow. She knew which to be Emma's favorite, but which was good for the pub was a different question
Emma shook her head out of the daze, "Uh, definitely black one, its a casual party, no need for all the cleavage the red one gives for the others."
Regina snorted.
"What? Gotta hide the goods while we're around drunk people. They might get brave and start staring or be dumb enough to get handsy and make a move." She defended
"And what are you wearing?"
Emma held out her outfit of a white flowing shirt with her blue leather vest and black leather pants and boots.
Regina nodded at the choice. It still showed Emma's status as a knight even if everyone already knew who she was, but it kept her sword at her side if she needed it, off duty or not.
Patiently they both dressed each other. They had started doing this from the intimacy taking care of each other gave them. Caressing each other caringly as they set everything in order. It gave them an excuse to be closer even if they could do this on their own.
After Regina buckled Emmas belt to her waist and they set her sword in its holder, Emma wrapped her arms around her waist and softly kissed her.
"I love you," she whispered
Regina smiled, "I love you too."
Emma smiled and brushed her hair out of her face.
A knock sounded against the door, they pulled away and answered it
"You guys ready to go?" Roni asked with Belle at her side
"Yeah, wheres Mal?" Emma asked
"Her and Ruby got done early, said they were going on ahead to get the drinks at the table for us."
She nodded and they all held onto each other as Regina transferred them to outside the bar.
"Not dizzy this time, you're getting better at bigger groups." Roni teased her
Regina smiled and nudged her along.
When they arrived the two women had a table full of drinks ready for all of them
"Ruby and I have already had two beers so catch up everybody." Mal smiled and walked over to them to give them all hugs
"Affectionate drunk arent you Mal?" Emma teased
"Oh just you wait, I'm not drunk yet." She winked and downed a shot
Roni picked up another and motioned for all of them to grab one of their own
"To both our blondies going out on missions and coming home safely." she toasted, they all said cheers and threw their shots back to start their night off
Later Emma was watching all around them. She had only sipped on her beers the rest of the night. If they were all drinking then at least one of them had to have their wits about them.
"Wolfie you know you should be dancing with your woman right now." Roni slid next to her at the table
"I've danced with her most of the night, Mal wanted a turn. Who am I to deny my sister's wishes on her first night back." She mumbled and looked towards the woman in question
Regina and Mal were dancing to an upbeat song, giggling together as they made weird notions and faces in their moves.
Emma snorted, they're were tipsy, close on their way to drunk if they weren't already.
She looked over to Roni and saw the wistful look in her eye as she eyed the two as well
"Why don't you see if you can cut in or join them?" she nudged her
Roni's eyes widened before she looked down and took a sip of her beer to hide her blush that wasn't alcohol-related
She shook her head, "no, it looks like they're having enough fun, I don't want to impose on that."
Emma looked at her curiously, "what's going on with you? Every time I even mention Mal, you act girly."
"Well I don't know if I should be offended or not if you haven't realized by now Wolfie, I am a girl," she smirked
"No you're a woman smartass, and believe me, I've noticed. What I'm saying is that you're acting like you got a crush on the lizard."
Roni looked down, playing with the condensation on her beer mug, before she looked back up, "I don't know wolfie. But what I do know is that the first time we met. The first time I looked in her eyes, there's just something there, you know? But she's in love with Regina and I can't do anything."
Emma nodded. Just as she was about to respond, she looked over to their friends and saw Mal starting to lean in closer to Regina. Even with Regina leaning back as the blonde got closer, Mal raised her hand to the back of her neck, immobilizing her from moving any further away.
Emma was up in a flash and interrupted before Mal could get any closer, "hey Mal, why don't you go see if Roni wants a dance, I heard her say she's waiting for you to finish your dance with Regina."
Mal frowned, "But who's going to dance with Regina?"
"I will" she smiled as Regina placed her hand on her back
"But you got to dance with her earlier and you've had her this whole time I've been away. Why don't you go dance with your woman."
Emma tensed up then and in her head, she heard Regina speak
"She's too drunk, don't say what I know you're thinking."
"And what am I thinking my love?"
"If you go dancing with Roni and let me dance with Regina, then I will be dancing with my woman"
Emma snorted, "Spot on, am I that predictable?"
"No, but I know you and I know how much of a smartass you are."
Emma turned to look over her shoulder at the smirking princess and smiled at her. Though when she turned back to Mal, her senses went back on alert
Mal looked between them, "What was that? Why'd you two pause and then just smile at one another?"
"She was just messing with my back Mal, go and dance with Roni, you'll love it."
Mal looked between them again and with a nod from Regina, she went to Roni and pulled her onto the dance floor.
Emma blew air between in lips as she sighed and turned around to face Regina
Regina smiled and wrapped her arms around the blonde's neck, "You sound like a horse when you do that."
"It helps" she shrugged and wrapped her arms around Regina's waist.
Regina rested her head against Emma's chest, smiling at the rhythmic beat of her heart.
Emma tilted her head to kiss the top of her head as she kept on eye on Mal from across the room
"That was a close one" Regina sighed
Emma nodded
"When she sobers up in the morning, after breakfast, we'll tell her."
"I'll make sure to brew the calming tea then and make sure Roni is with us. If she reacts the wrong way, you'll have enough trouble keeping one of us calm, Roni will help." Emma stated
"Sounds like a plan. Let's hope it goes through." Regina sighed once more and turned her face into Emma's neck
"The alcohol finally making you tired my Queen?" Emma chuckled
Regina just nodded against her
"Come on let's go tell Mal we're heading home." Emma smiled and wrapped an arm around her waist as she walked them to the other blonde and doppelganger
"Hey Princess is getting tired so I'm going to go ahead and take her home. Are you guys going to be okay?"
"Yeah, I'll see how much more Ruby wants to challenge me, and then I'll head back home. I'll see you two tomorrow at breakfast." Mal smiled and looked at the sleepy brunette. She leaned forward and kissed her forehead as she hugged her goodnight
Emma tensed at the motion but calmed when Mal did the same to her
"Affectionate drunk it is." She teased
"Aren't we the best kind of drunk. Don't worry, I'll get you drunk next time to see what kind you are." Mal giggled and pushed them towards the door.
"Doubt it, one of us has to keep our wits about us." She winked
"But we also gotta relax and let go every once in a while. Don't worry I'll get you drunk even if I have to at the castle, mark my words furball." Mal smiled at her and with that, they waved and said their goodnights to everybody and left.
As soon as the cool air touched their faces Regina perked up a bit.
"Why don't I transport us." She suggested
"Nah, when was the last time we went on a moonlight walk." Emma smiled and interlaced their hands together
"Last week." Regina deadpanned
"Oh that's right, you're with a romantic wolf. How forgetful of me." Emma grinned
Regina chuckled, "a bit of an ego boost for you isn't it."
"Very much so yes." Emma nodded seriously and brought their hands up to kiss Regina's knuckles
"You know for an Alpha you're very sappy." She teased
"Only for you my love." She leaned down and kissed plump lips as they continued on their way to their bedroom.
