Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, only this idea.

"NO FREAKING WAY!"

Harry grinned as Ron and Alphard stared at him, eyes wide open. Anna, Peter and Hermione shared the sentiment. But nobody could match Ron Weasley in his excitement about Quidditch and the young redhead had already roped young Black into his obsession.

"She made you Seeker?" Ron shook his head. "But there hasn't been a Quidditch Player from first years in..."

"In over a hundred years!" said Harry excitedly. He was vibrating from happiness. Quidditch was not something he was initially interested in, but just the other day, Hermione had spotted a shield with his father's name on it. Harry's own memories of his parents might be null, but he had something now- even if it was an echo of the past. hell like he was going to miss the opportunity.

Nobody could believe what happened though. It had been their first flying class, where Neville had injured himself. His remembrall had fallen down from his pocket which his grandmother had sent him just that morning. Malfoy, being the prick he was, had picked up the ball and flown away. Alphard booed at him rather loudly- but Harry, the noble warrior of the four, was quite more straightforward.

When the flying match had finally commenced, Professor McGonagall came in and swooped Harry away. Ron and Alphard had shared a worried glance and Peter was sure that this was going to be it. Anna was not so worried herself- she knew Harry could handle himself, but only if Granger would stop with her expelled nonsense!

Anna had spent most of the time trying to calm Alphard down that no, Harry was not going to leave him in this big awful castle alone and that yes, if worst come worst case he was suspended for even a few days, Anna and Peter would find a way to hide harry in the castle. The place was big enough as it was. This went on until dinnertime, when Harry came in with the biggest grin.

"But are you sure it's a good idea?" Anna said after a thought. At Harry's confused face, she hurriedly added, "You don't know anything about the game, Harry."

"Well, as long as it's not Dudley's version of Harry hunting, I think I am going to be fine."

Peter choked on his potato before giving Harry a stink eye. "Not funny Harry, so not funny."

"Who's Dudley?" asked Hermione, looking at the group in interest.

At the mere mention of the name, Alphard and Anna scrunched up their noses.

"He is Harry's oaf of a cousin," Alphard said, "Who we hate."

"All of you?"

"All of us," said Peter with a grimace, "He hunted us cause we were friends with Harry! It wasn't until Alpahrd snuck pins in his pants and we dropped a bottle of ink while putting the blame of bullying on him that he and his gang stopped."

Everyone's attention drew to Ron, who was choking on his food. "Blimey, you lot are worse than Fred and George, and that's saying something."

"Somebody said our name?"

The group turned around to see Fred and George enter the hall. They clapped Harry on the back and grinned, "Well done! Wood told us, We are on the team too- Beaters."

"Beaters?" Peter said worriedly, "Why does that sound so violent?"

"The whole game of Quidditch is violent, Petey Pie," said Fred with a grin, "But it's the best game out there. We haven't won since Charlie left, but Wood was skipping when he told us you got on the team Harry. You must be good."

"Anyways, we gotta go," George said, sneaking a piece of pie from Alphard's plate, "Lee Jordan reckons he's found a new secret passageway out of school."

"Bet it's the one behind the statue of Gregory the Smarmy that we found in our first week. See you."

As they walked out, Alphard continued to look at them with puppy dog eyes, "Do they take apprentices? I want to be their apprentice."

Peter just rolled his eyes and turned his attention to Harry. But as always, luck worked against the poor Gryffindors. Just as the twins disappeared from the view, Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle appeared beside the group.

"Having a last meal, Potter? When are you getting the train back to muggles?"

"You're a lot braver now that you're back on the ground and you've got your little friends with you," said Harry coolly.

"I'd take you on anytime on my own," said Malfoy.

Before the bunch of kids could comprehend what was going on, Ron had bravely declared that he was Harry's second in a Wizarding duel at midnight.

As soon as the Slytherins left, Harry turned to Ron. "What's a wizard's duel? Why are you my second?"

"A second's there to duel if you die."

That brought a gasp from Anna. Ron hurriedly added, "Don't worry, the most they will do is throw sparks at each other."

"What if my wand doesn't work?" Harry asked worriedly.

Ron shrugged, "You can always punch him in the face."

"Excuse you all!" said Hermione with an air of importance, "You do realize you must not do this. It is extremely dangerous to roam around late at night in corridors and you could lose Gryffindor tons of point."

"That's not the problem here, entirely," said Anna with a huff, "If they do not get caught, then they are free to be."

Hermione gave Anna an incredulous look, which she ignored. "However, if you get caught, I bet old Minnie wouldn't be happy."

"But now he has said yes to the duel!" Ron said, frowning.

"He has not, technically," said Peter, frowning as if deep in thought. "Harry never accepted the invitation. What if we tell the teachers?"

Alphard gasped and held his chest as if his heart hurt at the mere mention of teachers. "Peter, how can you? If you had said that we could prank him, I would've understood. But turn to teachers, our mortal enemies?"

"They are not our enemies!" Hermione protested, but her words fell on deaf ears as the others leaned in on the table.

"I say we prank him," said Alphard, "Filch is anyways always running around at night, why don't we tip him off that Malfoy is going to be there?"

"Filch? That's your plan?" Anna added with a sneer, "He will first catch us and then throw Malfoy under the bus."

"And," Hermione said, sneaking into the group, "Malfoy is smart. He is the only one in classes that pays attention and knows what to do. He will probably set up a trap to lure you in and might tip the teachers off. Oh, if he tells Professor Snape, do you know how many points you could lose?"

Despite all the irritation, Anna knew Hermione was telling the truth. Malfoy was a snitch, and he seemed to be a favourite of Snape. It could end up badly.

"But wizard's duel is an honour," Ron said hurriedly, "And Malfoy is a pureblood. He would never go back on his word."

They sat in silence for a long time, before a grin broke on Harry's face. "I know exactly what to do."

Harry, Alphard, Peter and Anna were slowly making their way to the trophy room. Everyone was feeling all sorts of giddy- whether Malfoy tricked them or not, this would be their first prank at Hogwarts. Ron had looked absolutely heartbroken at the prospect of staying back and Hermione was livid, urging over and over again that they would get caught, but the Marauders didn't care. Handing Ron the duty of staying in the common room until they came back, the four gathered all their supplies and ran off to the trophy room.

The senior students were still in corridors, so the group had to be extra careful. But soon enough, the four managed to get to the trophy room.

Peter looked around, before gesturing them to come in. He and Harry handed everything to Alphard and Anna, who were the ones executing the plan. Both Harry and Peter were small enough to hide somewhere.

Every moment that ticked away, Harry's heart beat faster. He had done this many times before, but Hogwarts was new and he wasn't sure how well this was going to end. Peter once mentioned that he heard Quirrel and Harry was sure he had heard Peeves cackling, but mostly nobody came their way.

After a long wait, Alphard and Anna emerged out of the room.

"Done?" whispered Harry and the two nodded enthusiastically. With a shit-eating grin on their faces, the four Marauders began to way back when they heard the unmistakenly sound of Filch coming their way.

"Shit!" Anna looked at her friends, "What do we do now?"

The four young Gryffindors bolted through the corridor, but some door refused to open while others just turned out to be walls. No matter how much distance they put between them and Filch, he still managed to come pretty close.

"Man, for someone that old you would think he couldn't walk that fast!" muttered Alphard, stopping to catch his breath. Just as a door opened, Peeves came swooping in.

"Wandering around late at night, Ickle Firsties? Tut, tut, tut! Naughty Naughty, you'll get caughty!"

"Peeves, please!" pleaded Peter, "do not give our position away!"

"What should I tell Filch, I wonder," said Peeves, and the four exchanged a worried glance. Without thinking, they began to bolt as Peeves began to cackle.

What happened next was quite an adventure. Anna opened a locked door with a spell and the four hurried in, listening as Peeves had his fun with Filch. The four breathed a sigh of relief until they turned around.

It did not take a genius to figure out where they were. They stood in the forbidden corridor on the third floor and in front of them stood a three-headed dog, taking up all the space from the floor to the ceiling.

"Does, does anybody else see this?" squeaked Alphard. Harry gulped as the Dog began to growl, probably scenting them.

Peter claimed that Harry shouted first, though Anna said it was Peter actually. Harry was not sure and he really did not care as he ran behind Alphard who had pried open the door. The four bolted out of the corridor and did not care if Filch or anyone saw them- though they did not hear any voice. None of them stopped until Alpahrd tripped over something outside Gryffindor Common Room door.

"Ouch!"

Neville looked up and saw Anna. "Hey Anna, what..."

"Not the time," Peter said in a squeaky voice. "Pig's snout!"

"What have the four of you been up to?" The Fat Lady reprimanded, but Alphard just shouted, "Pig's snout!"

The next moment, the five Gryffindors were inside the common room, clearly out of breath. Ron looked at them, looking red. Meanwhile, Hermione stood there with her arms crossed.

"What happened?"

"Too...many things!" said Harry, breathing heavily.

"Did you get caught?" Hermione demanded.

Peter shook his head. "Dog...three-headed...guarding something."

"What?" Anna squeaked, "Whatever are you talking about Peter?"

"Didn't you see?" shouted Peter, "He was standing on a trapdoor."

"What exactly were you doing?" asked Neville, looking at the group in front of him.

Everyone just shook their heads. Ron started mumbling about missing on the adventure while Hermione began to reprimand them about getting killed or worse, expelled. Anna just sneered and without a last look, climbed up to her room. One by one, everyone retreated to their dorms, tired of the adventurous day.

The next morning came faster than expected. Harry and Alphard were the first ones to wake up and they gingerly woke Peter and Ron up. Neville automatically followed as the four boys walked down. Hermione was already down, looking at Anna disapprovingly as Anna herself ignored her own existence. The seven Gryffindors made their way to breakfast without a single word being exchanged, just wondering whatever happened the night before.

However, at the breakfast table, there was something absolutely different going on. The seven Gryffindors saw that Filch was fuming and the teachers were whispering among themselves. Fred and George had a shit-eating grin on their faces.

"What happened?" asked Ron.

Fred excitedly turned to the younger kids and said, "Someone spilt ink all over the trophy room, and some sort of muggle gum which is taking a lot of work getting out of the trophies."

"It's temporary, clearly," George added with a grin, "But it's taking a lot of work. Filch is not happy. And Snape looks like he is ready to burst a vein."

Indeed, on the Head table Snape looked annoyed out of his mind. He was constantly glaring at the Gryffindors, but the four Marauders knew that he had no way of knowing who did it.

Harry, Alphard, Peter and Anna shared a grin. The ink stains wouldn't go away from human hands anytime soon, and the glue would need some good soap to get out.

"Honestly, the lot of you!" Hermione shook her head, "Even you, Peter?"

"Just a bit of fun..." he said uncertainly.

"Why does it even matter to you? We did not invite you, you didn't have to do anything and we did not lose any points now, did we? Why do you keep sticking your nose in our work?" said Anna unkindly.

Hermione gasped, clearly hurt at Anna' words. Turning all red, she got up, turned around and walked out of the Hall.

"That was a little harsh, Anna," Alphard said as he watched Hermione run out.

"At least she won't harass us anymore," said Ron, earning a smile from Anna. Harry somewhat agreed, but looking at Peter, Alphard and Neville's face, he knew that Anna had indeed crossed a line.
