The Piper Squad sat in Professor Xavier's office. The man himself was sitting in front of his desk, putting away his papers. Piper fidgeted with her hands, wondering what her old teacher wanted to talk with her about. She wondered if she was going to be asked to be a teacher for the younger kids since she did just turn twenty and has a good grip of her own abilities, but she doubted that. Either way, she would rather be getting ready for going to school tomorrow than be in the same room with a mind reader for too long.

"You look good, despite everything's that has happened to you over the recent months. How have you been feeling," Professor Xavier said.

"We're tired, honestly," Piper said.

"I heard you managed to get into the same private school your sister's in, congratulations," Professor Xavier said then asked, "Was the Entrance Exam hard? I know it's been awhile since you've been to school."

Her voice echoing, Piper said, "All of it was hard except for the math section. We apparently got a one hundred present on that portion and it apparently was our saving grace."

Professor Xavier nodded his head.

"There's something I've been meaning to ask you, but haven't had the time to, till now," Professor Xavier said as he folded his hands in front of his face, "You said your dimension doesn't have aliens or super people, right?"

Piper could feel a nervous sweat coming on as she clamped her hands together.

Mentally, Venom asked, "Do you think he's catching on?"

"Catching on to what?" Toxin asked mentally.

Piper didn't respond to them and instead answered Xavier's question, "That's right. Why do you ask?"

"Well, because of that time when the Silver Surfer came and forced himself upon your mindscape. Miss Frost, Jean, and I saw all those memories of the Silver Surfer in your mind and based on what Ms. Romanova has told me, meeting the Silver Surfer on Lotiara was your first encounter, but your memories are years old. Why is that," Professor Xavier asked.

Piper's back tentacles had started to sprout and writher under her shirt, but she kept them hidden as she agonized over what to say.

Mentally, Venom said, "Maybe it'll be okay if we tell him. I turned out okay with the truth."

"I hate it when you two keep me out of the loop," Toxin mentally said, "We're supposed to be one, aren't we?"

"Well, yes," Venom mentally said, "And we're not keeping it secret to make fun of you or anything, it's just a serious mind fuck what Piper knows and we don't want you to get fucked up from it, you are only two after all."

Piper could feel Toxin pouting but then he mentally said, "Well he's capable of making mind barrier's, right? If you two tell him, he'll help Piper protect her mind from other mind readers, right?"

"He has a point," Venom mentally said to Piper.

Piper looked at her hands. They felt cold and clammy to her and her shirt was starting to feel tight from trying to keep her back tentacles in check.

She sighed and mentally said, "Okay. I'll tell him and you too Toxin."

Piper looked up at Professor Xavier who was still looking at her expectantly.

"The reason why I know so much about the Silver Surfer is because I know him," Piper stated. Her voice echoing, "I know everyone."

"Everyone, everyone?" Xavier asked, not sounding convinced.

"Well, I don't really know," Piper said, "I got sucked into the Marvel Universe when I was seventeen and it's been three years now so my Universe could have and has changed a few things since I've been here."

"Alright, can you give me an example of what you know," Xavier asked.

Piper started ticking things off her fingers as she said, "Your full name is Charles Francis Xavier. You used to have blond hair. Your father, Brian, who was a nuclear scientist, died before you where ten. You developed your powers when you were ten and you gained a stepfather sometime after your real father's death. Your stepfather's name is Kurt and your stepbrother, who is also the Juggernaut, is named Cain. When you were developing your powers, you read your stepfather's mind and learned he only married your mother, whose name is Sharon, for her money. You—"

"Okay, enough," Xavier said, sounding agitated.

Piper covered her mouth with both of her hands. She's seen him get angry before, but it's the first time it's been directed at her.

Xavier sighed and said, "I'm sorry for raising my voice at you."

"Do you know that level of knowledge about me," Toxin mentally asked.

"More or less," Piper mentally answered. Then out loud Piper said, "I'm sorry if I started talking about a sore spot in your history."

"It's okay. I asked for it after all," Professor Xavier said as he rubbed his eyes. Then he said to himself, "And you know this level of knowledge about everyone…" Then he looked up at Piper and said, "Oh god, you know so many people's secret identities, don't you?"

Piper nodded her head and said in her echo-y voice, "Yah. That's kind of why we decided to tell you this. Maybe you could help me build a mind barrier or something. Please?"

"Of course," Xavier said as he wheeled his electric chair over to Piper, "I do have an additional question though. Do I want to know how you—"

Piper shook her head vigorously and said no.

"Then I am fine with not knowing," he said as he placed his fingertips on Piper's temples.

The Piper Squad was dressed up in a black and blue, skirt and blouse school uniform combo with white knee-high socks and black dress shoes. Lunella was wearing the same thing only Piper was covering her mouth and nose with a surgical mask to hide her pointy teeth and was wearing colored contacts to hide her milky-white, iris-less-looking eyes. The Piper Squad held both Lunella's and their backpacks in one hand while Lunella was hanging on to Piper's left bicep like she was playing on a money bar while they waited for their bus at the bus stop.

"You're going to love Stan Lee's School for Improvement," Lunella said, "They have such a huge library, and the teachers are so nice, and the food is really good, and we'll be in the same classes."

"You're already in the 12th grade?" Piper asked.

"Yep," Lunella said, proudly as she tried to hang upside down on Piper's arm. Piper didn't tell her to stop since Lunella was wearing shorts under her skirt like she was.

"It'll be interesting to see what school is like," Venom mentally said to Piper.

"I can't wait to see this school," Toxin mentally said, "Will it be like the X-Mansion?"

"It will not and thank gods for that," Piper thought to them, "But it's also a privet school and that's super fancy so it'll be a new experience for me anyways."

A car slowed down in front of them and the front passenger side window rolled down and a man yelled at them to show him their underwear, then he drove off. Venom and Toxin were confused by that random human's outburst, Piper was annoyed, and Lunella stopped hanging from Piper's arm to fiddle with her shirt.

Her voice echoing, Piper asked, "Are you okay?"

"Why did he yell at us like that?" Lunella asked.

Piper patted her head and said, "He was being an asshole. If there was more time, I would have giving him an aggressive answer."

Their bus rolled up and they climbed in.

"Like what," Lunella asked as she sat down on a leathery blue seat.

Piper sat down beside her and said, "Oh, something along the lines of, "Come here so I can suck the eyeballs out of your head and rip out your tongue," or something else just as creative or weird."

Lunella looked around then got close to Piper's ear and asked, "Would you really do it?"

"No. He's just a random asshole," Piper said, her voice echoing, "Words are enough."

The ride to school was as smooth as any bus ride could be. The entrance to Stan Lee's School for Improvement showed that the school was five stories tall and made of cement blocks, built to withstand a hurricane. The colors were nonexistent, unless you count gray as a color, but the design was elegant in its own simple and sturdy way, much like a sumo wrestler. It was two hours before classes started but the school grounds were already crowded with kids, their parents either dropping them off early because of work or because they wanted their kids out of the house sooner, while other kids with drivers licenses where taking up any parking spots that they could get, and many more had used the public bus like they had.

"What do you think of it," Lunella asked, taking her backpack back from Piper.

"It seems nice," Piper said.

"It looks kind of cage-y to me," Venom mentally said.

"I didn't think there would be so many people," Toxin mentally said.

"Don't worry, we're here for you," Venom comforted her son.

"Exactly," Piper mentally agreed, "Don't be afraid to ask me if you need a break from the crowds," Piper mentally added in an understand way.

"Thanks," Toxin mentally said.

Lunella started hopping up and down as she grabbed Piper by the hand, "Let me show you the library. It's huge."

Piper smiled wide, under her surgical mask, at how cute Lunella was being as she let her pull on her towards the school. The inside of the school seemed very old fashioned, almost Christian Church like with its designs, with the way the hallways arched, and the staircase rails were curled and how the tall windows made you feel small. There were a lot of cool colors, sea greens, and brownish blue streaking the walls, giving the impression that a swamp monster was allowed in to paint.

The School Library was on the third floor and it connected to the fourth floor. Bookshelves lined the walls all the way to the walkway on the third floor and all the way to the ceiling on the fourth floor. Right as you walk in, you'll see a librarian at the checkout and help center. The rest of the library was filled with seven feet tall bookshelves and little tables and chairs to study at. Somewhere, the Piper Squad could hear people on computers.

Lunella pulled her to the history section of the library and pulled out a few books about history's greatest inventers.

"One of these day's I'm going to be in these books," Lunella said, her eyes shining through her horn-rimmed red glasses.

"Cool," Piper said, giving her sister a thumbs up.

Mentally, Venom said, "I feel… Whimsical?"

"I feel it too," Piper mentally said as Lunella pulled them to a table to read together.

"Well I feel bored," Toxin stated, mentally, "How about we find a computer to play on."

"When we get back home," Piper mentally said as she picked up a book to read with Lunella.

The rest of the school day went smoothly. Sure, half the school gave her looks for wearing the surgical mask and she had to eat by herself during lunch time, but she had most of her classes with Lunella and it was nice being able to do mundane things again. When school ended, Lunella and Piper walked to the library to finish their homework before going back home when they got stopped in the hallway by two "thug" looking boys, they were wearing their school uniforms like everyone else, but it was the way they acted that made them "thugs". They reminded Piper of the old bullies from her universe and she was instantly annoyed by them.

"Awe, look at that," the taller boy with a bowl cut and razor cuts on his chin said, "The baby made a friend."

The other boy with dark blond hair with frosted tips and a crooked smile walked up to Piper and said, "Listen babe, why don't you hang out with us. We can show you a better time than this child can."

"You leave her alone, Dan," Lunella said pointing accusingly at the blond boy.

The bowl cut boy said, "Or what? Use your inventions on us, oh wait, that's right, you're banned from using them at school, aren't'ch'ya."

Lunella stood defiantly before them and Piper felt proud of her sister. Piper then patted her sister's head reassuringly, then turned her attention to the two boys.

"We're sisters," Piper said, her voice echoing, "You mess with her, you mess with me. Ya got that."

"Woah, I thought you were white," Dan said as he backed away from Piper.

"I guess she's wearing the mask because she's hiding that fat ugly nose that all black people got," Bowl cut kid said.

The two of them laughed obnoxiously like they made a great joke. Piper saw that her sister was looking away from them with her hand over her nose.

"Are you done," Piper snapped at them.

They stopped laughing.

"Are your egos satisfied? Do you two feel like big old tough guys? Like your dicks are bigger than what they actually are? Hm? I'm sure all the girls are just falling over themselves wanting to hear stories of how you bully a nine-year-old girl, so heroic."

"Shut your fuck face," bowl cut guy said.

"Oh, or what," Piper said, her voice echoing, "You're going to say more mean things? You silver spoon, baby bitch, ass, pepperoni faced, limp noodle bitch."

"Yah, well, your ugly," Dan said.

"Oh! Ouch, the pain," Piper said as she turned to a giggling Lunella, "Did you hear that totally creative insult. Let's leave them to suck their own dicks, shall we."

Lunella stuck her tongue out at them as they walked away.

"Couldn't we have just beaten them up and be done with it," Toxin asked, mentally.

"I mean, we could have," Piper mentally said, "but we're stronger than that."

"Hey, Lunella," a boy said to them, who looked like he was coming out of hiding.

"Hi, Alex," Lunella said as she went up to hug him.

"I saw that spat that happened," Alex said, "Sorry I didn't do anything."

Piper finally recognized Alex Wilder. A member of the Runaways and a highly intelligent strategy leader. Piper groaned internally, not wanting to have to deal with the Pride in any way, but she supposed that since he was here, that means that the Runaways haven't formed yet.

Piper said, "It's alright kid. They were dealt with."

"Yah, do you want to go to the library with us," Lunella asked.

"Sure, I've got homework. By the way, how are you doing that with your voice," Alex asked.

"What do you mean," Piper said.

"We'll your voice sounds like it's echoing," Alex said as they walked to the library.

"Okay, cool," Piper said.

It took two hours to finish their homework and Alex took the bus too, so they waited together for their ride.

"So, have you heard anything interesting going on in the News," Alex asked as he swayed toe to heel.

"Nope," Lunella said.

"Not, particularly," Piper said, "Why, have you?"

"Yah, apparently people have been spotting a giant red lizard prowling the streets," Alex stated.

"Well that's stupid," Lunella said, "There's no such thing."

Piper raised an eyebrow at her sister.

"We literally see people flying every other day," Alex said, "I don't think it's that impossible."

"Yah, but we can scientifically explain that," Lunella said, "This is just a Big Foot Conundrum."

Piper mentally said, "She's not going to like it when she finds out that Big Foot is real."

"Can we laugh about it or is it something that'll upset her," Toxin asked, mentally.

"You can laugh," Piper mentally replied.

The bus rolled up and they climbed on.

"Honestly, I don't think it's anything we need to worry about," Lunella said as she decided to sit beside Alex instead of Piper.

Piper couldn't help but smile a, somebody's got a crush, smile under her surgery mask as she took a set on the opposite isle.

"Does she not like us anymore," Venom asked, mentally.

"She's just distracted is all," Piper mentally said as she kept smiling.

Once everyone else was seated the bus started rolling along.

"Then how do you explain the blurry pictures on black Twitter," Alex said as he pulled out his phone to show them.

When Piper saw the blurry photos, she thought that they looked like photos of Devil Dinosaur, but she couldn't be sure.

"Hey, that's our house," Lunella said, grabbing Alex's phone out of his hand. Then she shoved the phone into Piper's face and said, "You see it too, right?"

Piper saw that in the far lower right corner of the photo, she could see the chalk drawings of a cat vs dog rock opera battle that they drew three days ago on the side of their apartment house.

"Oh, hey, we drew that," Toxin mentally said.

"You can't really see it that well from this angle," Venom mentally added.

Out loud, Piper said, "It's been triple checked and I can confirm that, that is our rock opera drawing on our house. The red blur is obscuring it though."

Alex took back his phone from Lunella's grip.

Piper watched as Lunella started biting her nails and pulled her legs to her chest.

"You guys should be careful on your way home, do you have far to walk from the bus stop," Alex asked.

Piper was going to answer when the bus came to a shrill stop. Then the driver was honking his horn and shouting at whoever was in front of them. Piper stood up to see out the front window. What she could tell, from where she stood, it looked like it was a man dressed up like a caricature of a cave man in a raggedy suit.

"Looks like we're going to be in a Geico commercial," Piper said.

Alex chuckled and said what a he stood up to get a look. Piper then saw that the bus became surrounded by fifteen new caricature cave men, all dressed in raggedy modern clothes and they started bashing on the bus with blunt objects. Lunella flung herself onto Piper as one of the cave men managed to break the glass where they were sitting. The other passengers started to scream.

Piper pulled Alex out of the way and flung him and her sister into her seat. Then Piper quickly crawled over to the broken window and punched a cave man in the face, knocking him out cold. Piper then turned to Alex and told him to call the police. Alex shakily got out his phone but dropped it when the window where Piper had been sitting shattered open. Lunella screamed as well as something else in the distance. Piper got on top of the bus seats and maneuvered herself over Alex and Lunella to break the arm of the cave man that had a hold of Lunella's hair. The cave man instinctively let go.

"What are they," Venom mentally asked.

"They're the Killer-Folk, they're from Dinosaur World," Piper said out loud without thinking.

"Why are they here," Alex asked as he picked up his phone and dialed 9-1-1.

The sliding door of the bus was forced open and the Killer-Folk barged in. The bus driver punched one of them in the face. He managed to make the Killer-Folk in an ill-fitting black cocktail dress stagger back but then a Killer-Folk in overalls head butted the driver and the driver fell backwards into his chair, holding a bloody nose. Then the two Killer-Folk made eye contact with Piper, looked down at Lunella below her, and made a beeline for her.

"Piper," Lunella said, her voice rising as the Killer-Folk got closer, the other passengers staying out of their way.

Piper got ready to fright, but then the same scream from before resonated through the bus. It sounded a lot like the T-rex from Jurassic Park. The Killer-Folk outside ran away as Alex started talking to the 9-1-1 operator. Piper kept her focus on the two Killer-Folk in front of her, who had paused for a minute. Then the roof of the bus was ripped open by sharp teeth, a minute of open sky and tall buildings, then the angry yellow eye of Devil Dinosaur the T-rex looked down on them.

Devil Dinosaur roared at the two Killer-Folk in the bus with Lunella and the other passengers screaming at the same time. The two Killer-Folk dashed for Lunella but Piper uppercutted the overall wearing Killer-Folk, using only enough force to knock him out. Devil Dinosaur grabbed the cocktail dress wearing Killer-Folk with his teeth and he looked like he was about to eat him, but then Piper saw him make eye contact with Lunella and he had the unmistakable look of regret cover his red scaly face. Devil Dinosaur spat out the Killer-Folk.

"That creature looks intelligent," Toxin said mentally.

"Most likely," Venom mentally said.

Lunella grabbed ahold of Piper's arm as sirens blared in the distance, getting closer, "Make it go away. Make it go away, please. It's going to kill everyone."

Piper looked up at Devil Dinosaur and he looked hurt by what Lunella said, weather it was from guilt or plain sadness, Piper couldn't tell.

"It's kind of cute looking," Venom said mentally.

"This feel's like one of those Anime's you watch," Toxin said to Venom mentally.

Piper gently stroked Lunella's head, "Alright. You stay with Alex in the bus. I'm going to talk to the police."

Lunella let go of Piper and Piper picked up the Killer-Folk from the floor of the bus and slung him over her shoulder, his arm's and feet dragging on the floor as she got out of the bus. When Piper got out of the bus, all six policemen and women that showed up had their guns pointed at Devil Dinosaur. Piper got out her S.H.I.E.L.D. badge and held it up high for them to see as she slowly approached them.

"Put away your weapons. You don't want a dinosaur going on a rampage because you managed to hurt it," Piper said to them.

A policewoman saw Piper's badge and did as she was told, "S.H.I.E.L.D. is here," she said to the other's then she went up to Piper, "Is it safe for us to approach?"

Piper handed the unconscious Killer-Folk in overalls to the policewoman, "It'll be safer if the passengers exit the bus. The T-rex is distracted right now. Make sure there is at least a 200 feet perimeter around this area and cuff him and put him in one of your cars. He and his other buddies attacked that bus before the T-rex appeared."

The policewoman nodded and she got out her radio to talk to the other police as she dragged the unconscious Killer-Folk to her car.

Piper walked back to the bus and grabbed the Killer-Folk in the cocktail dress who was bleeding from his abdomen on the road. Piper plucked a mole sized item from her left forearm and it grew into an emergency medical kit, then she stopped the bleeding before dragging him over to the Police how had called an ambulance. The police managed to give the perimeter the necessary space it needed as Piper calmly guided two passengers at a time to the Police. Finally, it was only Lunella, Alex, the Piper Squad and Devil Dinosaur at the bus, nighttime was almost upon them.

"Lunella," Piper said gently.

Lunella didn't speak as she reached out to Piper to be held. Piper picked her up and Devil Dinosaur growled at her.

Alex flinched, Lunella clung to Piper, and Piper said, "Don't growl at me, mister. You're destressing my sister."

Alex laughed nervously, "You rhymed."

Devil Dinosaur lowered his eyes like a sad dog would do.

Piper lifted her hand up for Devil Dinosaur to smell and he did. Then Piper placed her hand between the ridge of his nose holes and gently patted him.

"You've been thought a lot, haven't you, big guy," Piper said.

Devil Dinosaur seemed to nod.

"Well, you're going to go through a bit more," Piper said, "But I need to safely take my sister to the nice policemen, and I need you to stay here, okay?"

Devil Dinosaur wined.

"Hey, now," Piper said gently, "It'll be okay. The people at S.H.I.E.L.D. are good people. They're just going to give you some medicine, so you'll go to sleep and not get air sick. And it'll be a safe place for you to talk to Lunella."

"I want nothing to do with it," Lunella said, "It helped kill my family."

Devil Dinosaur looked like he felt guilty.

"Come on you two, let's go," Piper said as she and Alex walked out of the bus and to the police.

The Piper Squad sat next to the cage that Devil Dinosaur was in as Piper read aloud to him Little Bear Books. It's been a week since the bus incident and Lunella still refuses to talk to Devil Dinosaur, the big guy's upset about it. Ms. Munroe walked in as Piper was showing Devil Dinosaur a picture in the book.

"How is he," Ms. Munroe asked.

"He's not happy about the cage, and he's upset that Lunella still won't talk to him," Toxin said.

Ms. Munroe patted Toxin's gray goo head as she sat down next to her daughter on the cold steel floor.

"Piper."

"Yah, Mom," Piper said as she sat down the book.

"How are you feeling?" she asked.

Piper sighed and rubbed her eyes then said, "A simple question but I only have loaded answers."

Ms. Munroe wrapped an arm around her daughter's shoulder's and said, "That's okay, baby. Please, take a load off. Maybe it'll help you feel better."

Piper sighed as she looked up at Devil Dinosaur while Venom played with her hair. Ms. Munroe patiently waited for Piper to talk.

"I'm. I'm tired," Piper said.

"Of anything in particular," Ms. Munroe asked.

"Of everything?" Piper said, "I think my powers are awesome, but I don't want them anymore. I think I'm doing good being a part of S.H.I.E.L.D. and being a Super-Agent but I don't want to be in them anymore. I'm tired of people attacking me, kidnapping me, and getting hurt in so many ways that I end up waking up with nightmares. I'm just so tired."

Piper leaned her head on Ms. Munroe's shoulder and wiped her eyes.

"And going to school was supposed to be a normal activity. Something I could focus on that would let me forget, for a while, where I am and what I am and it's not anymore."

Ms. Munroe leaned her head on top of Piper's while Venom and Toxin's heads rested in Piper's lap.

"I know how you feel, but I supposed it's amplified by the fact that you're not from here," Ms. Munroe said, "You know. If it's causing you this much distress, you can quit being a part of the Super-agents and S.H.I.E.L.D."

"I know I could," Piper said, "but I don't really want to. I'm just so tired. I want to live on an island for a while and just be by myself."

"Does that mean you don't want us with you anymore?" Toxin asked.

"That's not what she means," Venom answered, "Maybe we could go on a vacation."

"Not until we deal with the wizard problem and not until we can get Lunella to connect with Big Red here. It's not healthy for him to be in that cage for too long," Piper said.

"Why do you insist on having Lunella "talk" to him," Ms. Munroe asked, "sure he's an interesting beast, but he's still an animal."

"It'll be good for Lunella's mental health," was all Piper said.

"Well, then I have an idea," Ms. Munroe said.

# # #

Lunella was sitting on the couch watching the news with T'Challa when they heard her mom and sister walk in.

"Welcome home," T'Challa yelled.

"Thanks, honey," Ms. Munroe said as she walked in and kissed T'Challa then Lunella on their heads. Then she said, "Lunella, close your eyes. We have something for you."

Lunella smiled and closed her eyes, "Is it a puppy?"

"No," Ms. Munroe said.

Lunella heard Piper walk in.

"What tha," Lunella heard her father said.

"What? What is it?" Lunella asked, getting excited.

Lunella heard Piper hush their father.

There was a moment of Piper struggling then Lunella heard something in her head.

I hope you'll like me now.

Shocked, Lunella opened her eyes and saw that the red dinosaur that helped kill her family, was sitting in Piper's arms. Lunella jumped and got behind the couch.

"Why did you bring that monster here!"

Piper was struggling to hold on to the tiny t-rex as she said, "Look, Lunella. I know you have some bad blood with Devil here, but you can't avoid him forever."

"I can and I will," Lunella said, "It helped kill my family."

I tried to help.

Lunella covered her ears and looked away from the tiny t-rex and said, "I want nothing to do with that thing."

Piper sighed, voice echoing more intensely, she said, "I know why you made the Omni-Wave Projector."

Lunella paused, scared for a second, but then she looked up at her big sister and called out her bluff, "I don't believe you. I just made it because I wanted to."

Piper sat down the red t-rex then got up close to her and whispered into her ear, "I know that you're Inhuman or you will be soon."

Lunella shoved Piper back.

"Piper what did you say to her," Ms. Munroe said, concerned over Lunella's frantic reaction.

"That's something Lunella's going to have to tell you guys," Piper said.

Venom materialized outside of Piper and said, "Lunella, this is a safe and understanding place. Have we ever given you a reason to not trust us?"

Then Toxin came out and said, "Maybe we're not the best example for this, I mean, you're a cannibal and I'm a kidnapper. I wouldn't call that safe."

Piper placed a hand over their mouths, "Continue that conversation inside, you two."

They disappeared and Lunella couldn't help but laugh nervously, a little bit.

I lost my family too.

Lunella looked down at the small t-rex that was gently placing it's clawed fingers on her leg. She didn't immediately move away from him.

"I want to go to the park," Lunella said.

"Sure, we'll take you," Piper said.

"By myself," Lunella said.

"Okay," Piper said.

"What no," T'Challa said, "It's too dangerous. Those Killer-Folk are still out there, and they want her for some reason."

"Dad, it's fine," Piper said then she turned to Lunella, "Don't forget your phone okay?"

Lunella walked away as T'Challa continued to argue.

Once outside in the warm twilight, Lunella felt like she could finally breath.

I come too. Protect.

Lunella looked down behind her to see that the red dinosaur followed her. She glared at Devil and continued walking.

She wanted to know how her sister found out she had the Inhuman gene. Maybe she scanned her DNA at the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, or maybe she has a power that she doesn't know about, or maybe when she was apart of Toxin, he figured something out and told her. Lunella's kept secret the fact that she's Inhuman for so long that she can't help but feel helpless and scared that her sister knows.

Why scared?

They stopped at a cross walk, waiting for the light to turn into a green man and Lunella looked down at the dinosaur.

"What?" Lunella asked.

Why scared of nice girl? She good, no?

Lunella looked around, making sure no one was too close to hear her then said, "Yes, my sister's a good person."

The light turned green and they crossed over to the next street.

Why scared?

"What is there not to be scared of," Lunella said, "I know the bad rap Mutants get and I know how much worst it is for Inhumans too. And what if my powers all along were my smarts and inventiveness, am I actually smart if it's a superpower?"

They walked into the small park. No one was there and Lunella went over to the swing set.

I don't know. But, they good and you good. Talk together to be better?

Lunella sat in a swing and lazily swung back and forth. Devil laid down close by.

"What's there to even talk about? I know my new parents will be disappointed, just like I know that my birth parents would be," Lunella said.

Is nice girl disappointed?

"I don't think she is," Lunella said then asked out loud, "I wonder how long she's known? Was she waiting for me to tell her for the past year and a half?"

You feeling better?

"I still haven't forgiving you for killing my family," Lunella said, glaring at Devil Dinosaur, "I don't care if you're smaller and cuter."

Accident. Like being here, accident. Sorry.

Lunella dropped her glare and stared at her knees, "I'm sorry too. For everything."

Devil crawled closer to Lunella and whined.

Lunella leaned down and hesitantly placed her hand on Devil's scaly head. Like a cat, Devil pushed his head into her hand. Lunella smiled a little.

Lunella looked up to see that she wasn't alone in the park anymore. There was a cave man looking person dressing in a black cocktail dress. Then there was another one, dress in a construction worker outfit. Then another one dressed in a nun's dress. Soon, Lunella was surrounded. Devil Dinosaur grew five times larger than he was and stood in front of Lunella, ready for a fight. Lunella got out her phone and was about to activate her gadget but then one of the Killer Folk spoke up.

"Wait," a cave man in a loincloth said, walking forward, "We won't hurt you."

"A little late for that," Lunella said.

"Okay," the loincloth guy said, "We won't hurt you, more."

"What do you want with me," Lunella said.

"You have special tool. Brought us here," he said, "We want it."

"And why would I ever give it to you," Lunella said.

"Leave you alone. Forever," he said, "No one else gets hurt."

"And do what with the Omni-Wave Projector," Lunella said then answered her own question, "You're going to hurt even more people. I won't allow that."

She pressed a button on her phone, and it transformed into a taser then she clicked her heels together and her shoes transformed into roller blades.

Devil Dinosaur knocked most of the Killer Folk back with his tail, growling and screaming at them. Lunella speedily roller bladed around the cave men and tasered with such force that they passed out on the ground. More Killer Folk came out of hiding and they would have started to overwhelm them but then Piper appeared and helped clear them out. The Killer Folk quickly fled and dragged their injured behind them.

"Did you follow me," Lunella asked, kind of angry but also glad.

"Well, we weren't going to just let you leave by yourself," Piper said, her voice echoing, "No matter how capable you are."

Devil Dinosaur shrunk back down to his corgi size.

"Piper," Lunella asked.

"Yah," Piper said.

"How long have you known I have the Inhuman gene," Lunella asked.

"Oh, I just pieced it together when you finally told us about how your family died. I figured out what an Omni-Wave Projector can do, what the news was reporting in your neighborhood at the time before your family's death, and what I know about you as a person," Piper said.

Lunella rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, "I feel bad for thinking that you were a stupid person."

"Ouch," Piper said.

Toxin manifested outside Piper and said, "I can see why she would think that."

"Ouch," Piper said, "Is that anyway to talk to your mother?"

Toxin slowly disappeared, saying, "I'm just saying." Then he was gone.

"Do you feel any better," Piper asked.

"A little, actually," Lunella said.

"And just so you know," Piper said, "I haven't told Mom or Dad. It's up to you to tell them, okay?"

Lunella grabbed Piper's hand and said, "Thanks. Let's go home now."

Devil Dinosaur followed close behind them as they walked, waging his tail.

As they walked hand in hand, Piper asked, "You put a tracking chip on one of them, right?"

"Of course I did," Lunella said.
