Brett's choice of Restaurant is cosy. They're both having a great time. He laughed as Mason grabbed the bill receipt. He tugged at his fingers gently to make him drop it.

"Brett! I'll pay for this, no problem. You've splashed out for the comedy club"

"But the so called comics weren't even funny" Brett argued.

And you paid for the Robin Black Breakdown Expedition at the Condit hall" Mason challenged.

"I got those tickets from a friend" Brett said peeking a look at the bill.

Mason played with his spaghetti and twisted it nervously with his fork. He didn't depend on Dates to pay for anything, In fact his last date Lukas, expected everything to be paid for. Which Mason happily agreed to.

"How much is it?" Mason asks.

"A gentleman never tells" Bret said with a wink.

Mason watches a giddy waitress come over to Brett who then takes out one of many Colourful credit cards. She takes it and put it into the machine. Mason's quietly hoping that the card gets rejected so that he can pay and save the day. But it doesn't. The waitress takes out the card and gives Brett the receipt back with a lustful grin.

"We'll see you again Sir?" She asks.

"That would depend on if my Boyfriend wants to come here again" Brett said glancing at Mason as he put his card away.

"The B word? Already? You two have been dating what? Five minutes!" Liam groans.

"He's sweet. But I think he's trying to test me with this whole "Bill paying thing" This time, I'm going to arrange everything. That way, he'll see we're equals. I can afford stuff too"

"Well not too much Mase. You're the best barista in Beacon hills. But we don't make that much money" Liam teased.

"We? You'll help?" Mason asked surprise.

"Sure" Liam said with a shrug.
