Alternate East 07: Continuum of Responsibility

I could see sweats trailing down her face.

"And that was what I did, you're the last one of her subordinates that I saved and that means I already did my part. So I suggest you put away that gun to not waste your leader's effort." I warned.

We stare at each other's eyes in a tense atmosphere, though she's the only one who's tense, I'm confident with my reaction speed to catch a bullet now that I could calculate where it's going. It's simple, just look at where the barrel was pointing and calculate the numbers of bullet's travel time and my arms speeds, and voila, you just catched a bullet, or I could just redirect the bullet. To be honest, guns are just overrated.

After a while, she slowly lower her gun.

"...I'll make peace, for now." she said.

"Great, now onto the next step." I walk closer to her.

She flinched and aimed her gun at me again, I ignored her action since It's useless against me.

As I walked closer, I realized that what she's doing all this time is just a front.

Flandre already stopped writing a while ago and now she's listening to our argument without

looking at us.

The atmosphere of the room lessened after I apologized.
