I Don't own RWBY

I am very sorry that this took so long, but I am a slower writer. This fact, along with having a few things come up over the summer and just having a hard time figuring out how to make the story flow means this took a while, and since I will be returning to school in a few days it may take a while before I get anything to a good enough quality to post.

Long winded A/N done, enjoy the chapter.

The room was filled with anticipation and curiosity for what would happen next, however one person in the room was having a very different feeling. Josephine was slightly fidgeting, worried for her daughter, the Schnee matriarch was praying to the two brothers that Weis was okay.

Despite her atttempts at being subtle, the observant ones in the room easily saw how she was acting, however no one called her out on it.

The vision fades in to an overhead view of the Emerald Forest as the perspective pans down into the misty underbrush, where Yang is walking and looking around.

`"Helloooooooo?" Yang calls out, not seeing a shadow quickly pass by, "Is anyone out there? Helloooo?"

Raven promptly facepalms at her daughters idiocy, "You don't yell in the middle of a grimm infested forest! How stupid can you be!"

Summer sighs at her partner, "I clearly remember you doing something very similar during our initiation Raven, you don't have any ground to stand on." Summer then changes her focus from her blushing partner to the two laughing boys of the team, "You two are bad about that even to this day so you have no right to laugh at Raven about her past mistakes, at least she learned from them."

Summer returns her focus to the vision as the boys laughter sputters out in embarrassment.

Yang stops and raises her arms, "I'm getting bored here!" she calls out, before hearing a rustling in the bushes behind her, she turns to look, "Is someone there?" Yang walks over to look as the rustling continues and she peaks inside the bushes, "Ruby, is that you?"

Raven twitches again at her daughters question, yet Summers recent reminder of how she waas kept her from saying anything.

A low, inhuman growl is heard, and Yang looks up as she stares at the creature. She also answers her own question, "Nope!"

Yang quickly rolls to the side as an Ursa charges out of the bush. She gets up and activates her gauntlets, staring at the monster shortly before another Ursa runs at her from the side. She leaps away from it. The first one rushes at her again, only to get sent flying back by a fiery punch. The other Ursa and Yang charge at each other, and the blonde manages to hit it up into the air and deliver several punches and a kick to send the creature flying backwards.

"Woo!" Taiyang cried out, "That was awesome!"

The rest of team STRQ were, for once, in full agreement with their teammate. For a trainee huntsman, being able to send an Ursa flying by themelves was uncommon to see. The civilians in the room were more impressed than the hunters were, mainly due to the fact that they only had knowledge of these thing through anny hunters they may have met.

"You guys wouldn't happen to have seen a girl in a red hood, would you?" Yang asks the Ursai, whom merely growl at her, "You could just say 'no'."

One of the Ursai stands on its legs and swipes at her twice, Yang barely dodging the attacks.

Yang laughs, "Geeeez, you two couldn't hit the broad side of a ba..." She trails off as a single strand of her hair falls in front of her face and lands on the forest floor.

The room immediately went silent, they remembered what happened the last time that the blonde lost some of her hair.

"You..." Yang closes her eyes, then reopens them to reveal that they have changed from violet to red, the Ursai look at each other in confusion before Yang screams out, "You monster!"

"This isn't going to end well for those Ursai." Qrow states, with the majority of the room agreeing with him. Raven makes no sign of agreement as she has her face in her hands.

"Why is she so obsessed with her hair?" Raven asks herself in her head..

An inferno surrounds Yang for an instant before she rockets forward, unleashing a devastating combo of flaming hits and blows on the offending Ursa, sending it flying through several (now broken) trees, as well as leaving a trail of fire behind it. The other Ursa runs over, but stops short at Yang's gaze while a tree falls to the ground behind her.

"What! You want some, too?!" the angry blonde yells.

The Ursa rears up and prepares to strike... right before a whirling noise is heard alongside a crunching sound. The Ursa makes a befuddled noise, right before it falls over dead a second later to reveal Blake Belladonna with her weapon embedded in the beast's back.

"Well that was anti-climactic." Tai pouted.

The Belladonnas were far less saddened by this turn of events. In fact, they were very happy to see their daughter again, as this meant that they would be seeing more of her in this vision, and they were very much looking forward to it.

Yang pants in exhaustion while Blake pulls her weapon back to her hand, sheathing it on her back and smiling to the side. Yang, eyes returned to normal, speaks to her new partner over the smoking remains of the Ursa, making a simple statement.

"I could've taken him."

Most of the room chuckled atthiis while team STRQ burst into laughter, that attitude was almost identical to how Tai wouuld act at these moments. Summer was glad to see her tem enjoying themselves, because she had the bad feeling that these happy moments would end sooner, rather than later.

The scene suddenly changes to Weiss' predicament from the end of the last vision, deflecting the swipe from a Beowolf with her rapier and getting pushed back into the middle of the circle of Grimm. She holds out her sword as she goes through her dueling motions to set herself up to attack.

"Remember your training, Weiss." She thinks to herself, "Head up, shoulders back, right foot forward — not that forward!" here she slides her foot back, "Slow your breathing, wait for the right time to strike, and..." she brings her rapier up, the revolver spinning as she dashes forward, "Now!"

Every hunter was staring at the vision in disbelief, anyone who uses combat on a regular basis should have their actions committed to muscle memory. The fact that the Schnee girl had o actively think about it showed far to much of a need for control over everything.

Josephine was shaking her head at her daughter. She herself may ot be trained as a fighter, but her father had taught her a few things and one of those things was to never rely on forms when you are fighting, they are too predictable. Granted, it doesn't matter horribly much against the Grimm, but against any sentient foe the forms quickly become predictable.

Weiss dashes at the Beowolf in front of her, just as Ruby suddenly appears between the two in a blur of rose petals and a swipe of her scythe, landing a hit on the monster in the process.

"Gotcha!"

Weiss widens her eyes and screams as she quickly has to stop, she swings her sword in a random direction and creates a line of fire that sets a nearby tree ablaze, followed quickly by the rest of the forest around the clearing.

Summer flinched at her daughters action, she should have made sure that she wasn't going to cause an issue with Weiss' attack before jumping in. Team STRQ's leader looked at her teammates and saw that they seemed to be having the same thought as her.

However, she also saw a glint in Raven's eye. Summer just knew that he was going to have to put up with Raven's ribbing at a later time, the only question was when that time would be.

Ruby, distracted by Weiss' panic, is barely able to defend herself when the Beowolf she attacked lashes out at her, knocking the younger girl into the heiress.

"Hey, watch it!" The reaper tells her partner.

"Excuse me!" Said partner responds, "You attacked out of turn! I could have killed you!"

Qrow looked at the vision incredulously, "While I will agree that little Rose needs to lern how to look before she leaps, there is no such things as attacking in turns."

Professor Ozpin nodded in agreement with the male Branwen, "Indeed, Miss rose saw an opening and took it. While it could have been executed better she did what she was supposed to, capitalize on any possibility to take down the Grimm."

"You'll have to try a lot harder than that..." Ruby mutters.

The duo wield their weapons as the pack of Beowolves whine and growl around them. Ruby reloads her scythe just as a flaming tree falls near them.

Weiss quickly grabs Ruby's arm, "We have to go!"

She leads Ruby out of the blaze as it engulfs the clearing and sets the Grimm to running away lest they be set ablaze.

The eyes of the civilians widen in shock at how much damage was done in that short amount of time, an entire clearings worth of trees were burned down in almost no time at all. They had all known that Dust could be dangerous, but it takes seeing scenes like this that truely drives those facts home.

Josephine saw the looks on their faces and smiled thinly, she lwys got a bit of enjoyment out of the faces people make when they realise exactly how dangerous Dust can be. Even the lowest quality Dust could do large amounts of damage.

Ruby and Weiss stop a safe distance from the smoke and flames. Weiss leans over and pants in exhaustion as Ruby looks behind her at the flaming clearing.

"What was that?!" Ruby asks, "That should've been easy!"

"Well," Weiss replies, "perhaps if you had exercised even the slightest amount of caution with the placement of your strikes, I wouldn't have set the forest on fire!" The heiress points at the flames to prove her point.

"Ruby just can't catch a break with that girl." Summer sighed, "Yes, she messed up, but Weiss isn't makng things any easier."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ruby scoffs.

"I'm just surprised someone who talks so much would communicate so little during an encounter!"

At this point Summer was holding her face in her hands with an almost visible raincloud above her head. This shortcoming of her daughters was going to come up so many times, she could just feel it.

Ruby crosses her arms, "Well, I'm sorry you need my help to win a fight. I'm just fine on my own!"

"Well, congratulations on being the strongest child to sneak your way into Beacon." Weiss replies condecendingly, "Bravo!"

Weiss begins to walk off on her partner yet again. Ruby, with an agitated shriek, unfolds her cythe and slices a tree down to a stump, before refoldig her weapon, and following her partner as the tree crashes down behind her. Neither huntress notices the large dark feather floating onto the fallen trunk behind them.

Team STRQ quickly sidled way from their cloaked teammate, as upon hearing Weiss' statement she began to emit almost palpable waves of anger. Thankfully for their health, the sight of the falling Nevermore feather was enough to bring her temper under control.

Not that it had abated in the slightest, just that it was now under control. There is a difference.

Meanwhile across the Forest, Pyrrha, armed with her weapons, and Jaune are making their way through the bushes. The blonde hears a noise far away and turns his head.

"Did you hear that?" he asks.

"Gunfire." Pyrrha responds "It seems some of our comrades have encountered the enemy."

Amelia turned to Stavros at this point, "Why is your daughter speaking formally like that?"

"I don't know," Stavros responded, "It could be a mindset to keep herself calm, or she could simply be a formal person, or all of the above.

Amelia thought about that for a moment and nodded, those answers mad as much sense as any others.

They keep moving forward, however Jaune is still staring in the sound's direction when Pyrrha raises a branch to pass by and accidentally releases it right at Jaune's face, knocking him to the ground instantly.

"Jaune! I'm sorry!" Pyrrha says, looking behind herself.

Jaune simply laughs, lowering his hand from his cheek to reveal a gash from the branch.

"It's okay." he says, "Just a scratch!" he gets back up as Pyrrha approaches him.

"Why didn't you activate your Aura?" the champion asks.

"Huh?"

"...Huh? He said huh, when asked about aura?" Raven was twitching at the ineptitude of the blonde boy, and Professor Goodwitch was not far behind her. Both of the huntresses looked like they wanted to violently murder the poor boy.

The other hunter were simply in various states of shock, Summer was simply staring at the vision, Qrow had a dropped jaw and Tai was the one with head in hands for once.

"Your Aura." Pyrrha repeats

"Gesundheit."

"Jaune, do you... know what Aura is?" the crimsonette asks.

"No," Raven answers the vision, "No he doesn't"

Jaune waves off the question, while avoiding eye contact, "Psch! Of course I do! Do you know what Aura is?"

Qrow shook his head at this, "Kid, if you are going to lie, lie better than that."

Pyrrha smiles at him and gets ready to explain as the scene changes to Lie Ren's trek through the forest's tall grass.

"Aura is the manifestation of our soul." Pyrrha's voice says, "It bears our burdens and shields our hearts. Have you ever felt you were being watched without knowing that someone was there?"

"Uh... yeah.' Jaunes voice responds.

"I Kinda doubt it," Qrow says, "The kid has no combat skills at all or he would know half this stuff already."

At the same moment Ren stops and narrows his eyes, looking around him while a huge black Grimm serpent rises up from the grass behind him and quickly surrounds him with its large body. Ren quickly adopts a fighting stance as the snake coils around in front of him and attacks with its long fangs.

Pyrrha is visible again and is seen walking around Jaune, "With practice, our Aura can be our shield. Everyone has it, even animals."

"What about monsters?" Jaune asks.

"Keeping in mind that he basically doesn't know anything, that is actually a reasonable question." Taiyang points out.

While others are agreeing with the brawler of STRQ the Rens are only paying attention to the vision, watching their sons fight, and hoping that he is not harmed by the Grimm that he is fighting.

"No." Pyrrha says as the scene switches back to Ren leaping out of the way of the snake's mouth. The serpent hits the ground and instantly comes up again to hit a jumping Ren back with its snout as Pyrrha continues to speak, "The monsters we fight lack a soul. They are creatures of Grimm, the manifestation of anonymity." Ren lands in a crouch when the serpent encircles him again, and he pulls out his guns before jumping up and firing at the creature, "They are the darkness, and we are the light."

"Well, that was poetic." Amelia said in reponse to Pyrrhas statement.

"It's also true," Summer replied, "We are the light to the darkness of the Grimm, we are the ones who push the Grimm back." A melancholy look flickers over Summer's face, "For as long as we can, anyway."

People shift in discomfort for a moment, remembering what they saw in the earlier visions about the white cloaked huntress' fate.

"Right, that's why we fight them!" Jaunes voice exclaims as Ren kicks the snake's snout and slashes at its head.

"It's not about why; it's about knowing." Pyrrhas voice says as the snake flows around Ren and tries to bite him again. The boy flips over it and drives his weapons into its head, pausing a moment without sensing the serpent's white head behind him, "Understanding dark and light helps us manifest our Aura. Everyone has some of both."

The Rens were clearly on the edge of their seats, worrying for their child, so no one said anything. This was a tense moment for the two Mistralians and no one was willing (or cared enough about what was going on) to take the duos attention away from the vision.

Ren turns and looks at the white head just as it launches itself at him, he dodges it and lands just in time to see the head slither towards him. As it gets closer, he runs at it and leaps onto the black head, sliding over its body and blasting the other head.

Pyrrha's voice continues to speak, "By baring your soul outward as a force, you can deflect harm. All of our tools and equipment are conduits for Aura. You protect yourself and your soul when fighting." Ren is unprepared for the white half to hit him with its head, knocking him off it's body as he drops his weapons, and leaving him to merely raise his arms and distantly cry "No!" to the mouth of the black head.

The scene switches to Jaune opening his eyes with the revelation of, "It's like a force field!"

The room was very clearly split amongst two emotions after that statement, a few people, including the Rens, were worried about the mistralian boy, however the hunters were all looking done with the male Arcs lack of knowledge about everything. At this point even Summer was actively wanting to whack the boy over the head with his own sword.

It says something when even the optimistic and kind one is on the verge of hurting someone.

"Yes, if you want to look at it that way." Pyrrha admits.

The scene changes again to show that Ren is now holding the front fangs of the colossal snake in his hands, which are glowing a faint, pulsating pink as he moves close enough to grip the teeth of the black head and yank them from the monster's mouth, causing it to recoil. It attempts to bite him again, but Ren spins to the side and stabs one of its fangs into its eye, pulling back his arm to deliver a final blow that drives the makeshift weapon into its skull, which ripples, expands, and blows apart in a dark mess as its headless body falls over its other half. Wasting no time, Ren runs right at the white head.

The Mistralian couple sigh in relief at seeing their son okay, they had been extremely worried when the scene shifted suddenly.

Meanwhile team STRQ were once again in shock.

"How?" Summer asked, "How is he so good at controlling his aura?"

Raven was just as flabbergasted as her partner, her portals required a fair amount of skill with aura manipulation but this was far beyond even her skills.

Qrow and Tai were more generally shocked, they never tried very hard at aura manipulation so the magnitude of what the boy did was lost on them to a degree.

The scene again shifts to Pyrrha, this time walking up to Jaune and touching the side of his head, "Now, close your eyes and concentrate."

Jaune complys with a confused, "Uhh... Okay."

The sight of his future daughter that close to a boy got Stavros' overprotectiveness to flare up again, causing thoughts of multiple ways of killing the boy to flash through his mind in an instant. However the knowledge that the boy in question was a memory and that the boys mother was riht next to him kept him from yelling.

The fact that said mother was also giving him a death glare that could put a pack of beowolves to shame also helped with that decision.

Pyrrha smiles and closes her own eyes, opening them as her skin glows and her irises shrink before shutting them again. The two stand there, now with Pyrrha glowing a faint red and Jaune a bright white.

"For it is in passing that we achieve immortality." Pyrrha recites in her mind, "Through this, we become a paragon of virtue and glory to rise above all, infinite in distance and unbound by death." here the champion places a hand on Jaunes chest, "I release your soul, and by my shoulder protect thee." upon finishing the ritual Pyrrha stops glowing red and hunches over in tiredness.

Amelia turned to the hunters in the room, "Is it normally that exaughsting?"

"It depends," Professor Goodwitch responded, "It varies based on the strength of the auras in question, if you have less aura than the person you are unlocking it for, then you will exaughst yourself, if it is the other was around then you won't."

"Oh, okay, thank you."

'Pyrrha?" Jaune asks concerned, while still glowing white.

Pyrrha quickly gets back up, "It's all right." she says, "I used my Aura to unlock yours, but the energy that protects you now is your own." the crimsonette grins as she watches the scratch on Jaunes cheek close up and vanish, "You have a lot of it."

Jaune is smiling and looking at his hands as the glow of his aura stops, "Wow..."

At the same time, Ren stands atop of the Taijitus corpse, sliding his weapons into his sleeves and brushing said sleeves off before a strange, animal-like noise is heard above him twice. He looks up and meets the upside-down eyes of Nora Valkyrie.

Ren chuckles, "I still don't think that's what a sloth sounds like."

In response, Nora gives her friend a "Boop!" on the nose, causing him to smile as the scene cuts to black.

Summer cooed at the last part, "That was so cute!"

"Indeed, sickeningly so." Raven muttered under her breath, though not quiet enough as she started to feel as if death itself stood beside her. Raven slowly looked over to see Summer giving her a glare, Raven just knew that Summer would make her suffer somehow, she had done so toevery other person who had earned that glare and partner or not Raven was no different in that regard.

Maybe she could use Rubys screwup to save herself somehow? Maybe she could call in one of the many favors her brother owes her? Either one might let her escape Summer's wrath.

The vision returns to a view of Professor Ozpin watching the students on his Scroll at the cliff overlooking the Emerald Forest.

Glynda walks up behind him, holding her own tablet and says, "The last pair has been formed, sir." she taps the screen to show what happened mere moments before, "Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy... I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos." as she says this the video changes to Pyrrha and Jaune's trek through the woods.

Taiyang flinched, "Ouch, no holding back from Professor Goodwitch."

"Of course not," said professor replied, "I see no point in softening my statements. If you can't take criticism then you should not be here."

Taiyang slowly turned away from his now much more terrifying teacher back to the vision. The rest of his team however were eyeing Professor Goodwitch nervously, as they wondered just how lucky they were to not have her as a teacher during their school years.

"Mmmm..." the headmaster responds

"I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat." Goodwitch deactivates the tablet, and walks a little away from the cliff edge, "I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes." at this she turns back to Ozpin, "Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?"

"Professor Ozpin?" she asks when she gets no response.

Ozpin still doesn't answer, he simply watches his scroll with a contemplating interest as it shows the footage of Ruby sitting in the grass and picking stray leaves while her partner walks in random directions.

Josephine suddenly had a feeling of nervousness at seeing this scene, and Qrow quickly voiced that feeling.

"This is not going to go well."

"It's definitely this way." Weiss says as she keeps walking back and forth, "I mean... this way! It's definitely this way." the heiress stops in front of Ruby, "Alright, it's official: We passed it."

Ruby stands up, and asks in annoyance, "Weiss, why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going?"

"Indeed," Josephine properly spoke to the room for the first time, "Why is she incapable of dmitting her own shortcomings?"

"Pride," Professor Ozpin replies, "The young woman is too prideful for her own good, it won't allow her to acknowledge anything less than perfection."

The Schnee matriarch sighed in disappointment at this, she had been hoping that her own thought were wrong. Unfortunately, with someone else confirming her thoughts there was no doubts left in her mind about her daughter, she had either been pushed far too hard to give her this attitude, or she had taken on more of Jaques' traits than Josephines.

Weiss attempts to respond confidently to her red-cloaked partner, "Because I know exactly where we're going! We're going... to... the forest temple!"

Ruby's sigh of frustration shows that the heiress clearly did not succeed.

This irritated Weiss, "Oh, stop it! You don't know where we are, either!"

"Well, at least I'm not pretending like I know everything." Ruby responds, clearly beginning to get annoyed with Weiss' attitude.

"Looks like I was right," Qrow says, "This is not going well at all."

Summer couldn't do anything but agree with her teammate, at the rate things were going the two were more likely to destroy each other than any Grimm that they might run into. The cloaked leader looked at Josephine to see that she had a similar look of understanding on her face, both of them knew that things would only get worse before they get better.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means you're a big, stupid jerk and I hate you!"

Weiss sighs as she spins around and begins walking in another direction, "Just keep moving!"

Ruby begins to faux imitate Weiss' voice, "Oh, just keep moving! Hurry up! Waaaah! Watch where you're going!" she drops the voice as she asks, "Why are you so bossy?"

"She's entitled, that's why." Qrow states in response, causing reactions from both Schnees.

Jaques begins to yell impotently at Qrow, stating that, "The cloaked girl should just listen to her superiors!" while Josephine closes her eyes and sighs in resignation, well aware that the white haired child was indeed very entitled.

Weiss turns back around to face Ruby, "I'm not bossy! Don't say things like that!"

"Stop treating me like a kid!" Ruby excalims

"Stop acting like a kid!"

"Well, stop acting like you're perfect!"

"I'm. Not. Perfect!" Weiss responds, "Not yet... But I'm still leagues better than you."

Weiss walks away as Ruby dejectedly says to herself, "You don't even know me..."

The room was silent at Weiss' statement, no one could believe the sheer arrogance that statement showed. The heiress was so assured of her own superiority that she thought she was on her way to beiing perfect. Professor Ozpin spoke up to break the silence, "In my many years of teaching, if there is one thing that I have learned it is that there is no such thing as perfection. Every living being has flaws, and we are seeing a perfect showing of this right here." Ozpin waves his hand at the vision, "This youg lady is filled with such arrogance, and until she learns to set her pride aside she will never grow, nor go anywhere as a huntress."

A few people took Ozpins statement to heart, primarily the hunters, while others simply filed away this knowledge for later. It was, after all, never too late to improve yourself.

The scene shifts to Yang and Blake stepping out of the forest into a clearing that contains a circular stone temple, broken and decrepit save for the platforms around its inside, holding several black and gold objects.

"Think this is it?" Yang asks her partner

In response, Blake simply gives Yang an incredulous look and heads down the hill, her partner following. They walk around the temple and observe the items on each pedestal, now shown to be familiar shapes.

"Chess pieces?" Blake asks in confusion whilst looking at a black king.

Summer was surprised, "We also had chess pieces during our initiation."

Team STRQ looked to Ozpin who responded with a very simple explanation, "We only have so many things that we can use as relics. We tend to use chess pieces at least once every few years."

"Some of them are missing." Yang points out, "Looks like we weren't the first ones here."

"Well, I guess we should pick one." Blake says, still audibly confused.

The scene changes to Jaune and Pyrrha standing at the mouth of a dark cave, which has drawings to its side depicting armed men against giant beasts.

"Think this is it?" Jaune asks.

The scene cuts to the inside of the cave, Jaune is holding a short, burning torch to light their way.

"I'm not sure this is it." Pyrrha says.

Jaune sighs, "Pyrrha, I made the torch. Could you at least humor me for, like, five more feet?"

Immediately after saying this, Jaune trips on the ground, and the torch flies into a small puddle, extinguishing the flame and casting the two into darkness with only their eyes visible.

The room immediately burst into laughter at the poor boys mess up, taking enjoyment from what they can.

As Jaune gets up and grumbles, Pyrrha asks, "Do you... feel that?"

"Soul-crushing regret?"

"No, it's... warm."

The rooms laughter dies off, a warm cave in the emerald forest generally doesn't mean annything good.

Ever.

Back at the temple, Yang approaches one of the relics.

"Hmmmm..." Yang studies the golden knight, then picks it up and shows it to Blake, "How about a cute little pony?"

Blake rolls her eyes and smirks, "Sure."

The two walk towards each other to the center of the temple floor. "That wasn't too hard!" Yang says.

"Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find." the two share a smile, as they are unaware of how much difficulty others are having.

A few more chuckles emit from the group, but it is quiet as they have a feeling things were about to go from bad to worse.

Jaune and Pyrrha areshown again as they continue through the cave, they come upon a large glowing point of gold right in front of them, which illuminates Jaune's excited features.

"That's the relic!" Jaune slowly reaches out to grab it, but it moves away from him, "Hey! Bad... relic!" he tries to grab it again, then jumps forward and hangs onto it. "Gotcha!" he exclaims as the object raises him off the ground.

"Jaune...?" Pyrrha speaks with worry in her tone.

Jaune's catch lowers itself so he is dangling right in front of the now-glowing red lines and eyes of a Death Stalker.

Amelia felt like she was going to have a heart attack at this sight. The image of her son hanging in front of an extremely dangerous creature was going to be in her nightmares for the next few days at least.

Stavros was also nervous but for a slightly different reason, his daughter was in that cave with the boy. Which meant that she would also be a target for the Grimm.

The hunters were also shocked. "How did they stumble onto that?!" Summer cried out.

"There are many places in the forest that clearing out the more powerful Grimm would be more of a loss than a gain with the amount of effort that would be needed to clear them out." Ozpin stated in reply to Summers shocked exclamation, "As such it is not uncommon for trainees to come across these areas."

Jaune's scream is heard all the way at the temple, which causes Yang to turn towards the direction of it.

"Some girl's in trouble!" Yang exclaims, "Blake, did you hear that?"

Blake doesn't answer her partner, as she is staring at something in the sky.

The room is once gain torn on reactions, a few people burst out laughing at how wrong the young Xiao Long was while others were still nervous about the Grimm. The Belladonnas however were curious as to why their daughter was staring at the sky for no apparent reason.

Back at the cave entrance, Pyrrha rushes out right before the monster crashes through the hole, roaring and waving its grass-encrusted claws as Jaune hangs from the stinger, calling from help and continuing to scream.

"Help! Whoa-ah-ah-ah-ah! Why?! Pyrrha! He-e-e-elp! Pyrrha, this is not the relic! It's not!" Jaune continues to cry and scream as he gets shaken around by the scorpion Grimm, "Do something!"

Pyrrha is wielding her weapon as a spear in front of the creature, "Jaune! Whatever you do, don't let-" right before she can finish, the Grimm hurls its tail back and launches a still-screaming Jaune across the forest, Pyrrha watche the boy go flying as she finishes her statement, "... go." the champion turns back to the scorpion as it continues to snap its claws at her, she smiles embarrassedly before quickly turning and rushing away, causing burst of green leaves as she runs off.

"Are we sure that little Summer is the only one with a speed semblance?" Qrow stupidly asks.

His sister gives him a look of incredulousness, "We don't know what her semblance is, you idiot."

"So?"

Raven simply smacks her brother over the head in response while Summer shakes her head, "She likely just kicked up some of the leaves beneath her feet when she ran Qrow."

Qrow looked at his leader before nodding, signaling an understanding.

The scene switches back to Blake still staring at something in the sky, but Yang is focused on the forest.

"Blake, did you hear that?" Yang asks as she turns to her partner, "What should we do?"

Immediately after this question is asked, the faint-but-growing-louder scream of "Heads uuuuuuuup!" is heard as Ruby is shown falling from the sky but the vision cuts to black before she lands.

Summer looked nervous at the end of the vision, however she calmed herself with the knowledge that she wouldn't learn things any sooner if she panicked.

"Well, we saw the first half of the kids initiation, so the second half promises to be even more interesting." Taiyang said to the group. A few people agreed with him while others looked at him wiith glares due to their fear for their future children.

Luckily for Taiyangs continued health the next vision began to play before any of the angry people got he idea to kill him.

As I said at the top school is starting again soon so sorry about that. Sorry as well to all of those who have been waiting for this.

Anyways, Read and Review.
