Percy's vision was blurry as he looked down at the dark red blade in his chest. He looked around to see several of his specialists in various positions, clearly dead. Annabeth's hand was outreached towards him as if she were reaching for him to save her, but he couldn't.

"All this work that Chaos put into saving this dirtball planet and look at the outcome. Most of her high tier soldiers dead, her commanders dying, and her losing power. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! And with this," Percy looked up to see Tartarus fire a blast of dark energy into the weak and kneeling Isaiah, "CHAOS HAS FAILED!" Percy looked away as his brother got obliterated by the primordial.

Percy couldn't have failed his planet. He couldn't have failed Lady Chaos! Percy has to stand up and fight to the last breath if that's what everyone else had done, but Tartarus' blade seemed to bind him to the floor. Something must have happened over the course of the battle to make the primordial suspicious of the dead bodies around because he began obliterating the bodies around him. Percy had to look away from the carnage of his friends and soldiers, but he noticed something moving behind him.

The sword prevented him from seeing who or what it was until she fully came into his frame. Zoë had crawled up to him, cuts and bruises framing her face and a wound bleeding profusely on her side, yet Percy found her so beautiful in that moment. She reached for the sword embedded in his chest and mustered the strength to pull it out while Tartarus was distracted with the bodies. Zoë got it out and held it with glowing white hands, Percy realized that she was imbuing her lunar powers into the sword to purify it, but it was sucking out what remaining life she had left. He weakly put a hand out to stop her, but Zoë reached up to hold his face.

"Even if you never forgave me for past actions or if you haven't or will never return my feelings... I still love you. No matter how far you were, or cold you seemed to be, I remembered the Percy I fell in love with." Zoë said her last words before falling on the ground in front of him, the volcanic eyes dimmed for the final time.

In that moment, Percy realized that everything he wanted to say and do... it was too late. He stayed Frost for so long; he was blinded from actually returning any care or affection directed at him. Percy is the only one left alive with no reason to go on besides revenge for every one killed. Rage ran through his body soon after. Rage from not giving his heart to anyone, rage from his friends and family dying without knowing how much he cared about them, rage from being a cold fucker that spent so long creating this persona that he couldn't break out of it.

Percy stood up with the Angelic Blade that Zoë died for, ready to feed on Tartarus for extinguishing Percy's future opportunities to make up for his coldness. The primordial turned to the glowing commander and smiled, prepared to re-engage in battle with a man who has nothing and no one else to fight for.

Percy woke up in a cold sweat from his dream... or was it a premonition? That concerned him even more, considering that similar things happened when he was a demigod. Is it occurring again due to the proximity of the Olympians? Most of his "demigod dreams" were of events that happened or are happening at that moment. Even more concerning, he hadn't fallen asleep after dismissing Leo. Percy was ready to train Amy, but he was somehow asleep?

That's it, gotta call quits on the day before the Commander has a mental breakdown in front of the specialists he's training. However, before Percy could contact Esmeralda, he was pulled from the training room straight into the throne room of Lady Chaos. The Commander was too distracted to even realize that Chaos was requesting to transport him. Percy looked up to see her usually soft eyes replaced with a firmness mixed with disappointment.

"You passed out from exhaustion. You were awake for 73 hours, not counting the fifteen-minute intervals in which you were half awake, but still operating. How many times do I have to tell you that you're not invincible or omnipotent?! Even just now, you were sleeping for twenty-five minutes before Esmeralda reported that you weren't responding, but she didn't want to interrupt her training. Percy, the only way the universe stays safe is if its protectors take care of themselves just as much... why'd you flinch when I said safe?"

Percy surrendered his mind to Chaos so she can see his dream rather than have the pain of explaining. "I can't call myself a protector if there is such a great possibility that I fail, and everyone I care about dies. That dream could be an omen of the impending disaster led by my failure as a 'protector.'"

Lady Chaos stood from her throne and walked towards her commander as she moved them to her timeless bedroom. When I say timeless, I mean that time does not move in it. She could sleep for days, meditate, read, but when she returns, no real-time would've passed. Once Chaos reached Percy, she looked up at him, his 6'4 figure towering over her. Despite her attraction to Isaiah, the Creator had to admit that the eyes hidden behind its frozen exterior, were absolutely beautiful. It's no wonder he captured the hearts of girls that had sworn off love as well.

Lady Chaos proceeded to slap the absolute SHIT out of Percy. The commander fell back onto the bed, immediately cradling the place of impact. Even if she swore off fighting, the creator was still insanely strong, and his face knew that strength firsthand. Before he could make an inquiry about her actions, Chaos joined him on the bed and maneuvered them so that she was lying on her back, propped up by pillows. Percy was on his side, head facing away from her and laid on her lap. She ran her fingers through his hair, that action relieved him of any pain and fatigue he felt.

"Percy, you are undoubtedly one of the most amazing men in the universe. You work to protect innocents at the price of living a normal life, and not many know it or remember what you've done for them. Your skill and prowess are immense, but even you have limitations. Earth was my first creation, but I placed the bare minimum on it and expected greatness. However, I soon realized that none of the species had evolved into sentient beings, so I rushed the process by starting over and accelerating the evolution of the apes that eventually became humans. The issue with rushing it and the reason why Earth is my worst and best creation is the amount of emotion that I placed in it. Since I adopted the female form most of the time, I wanted females to have the same pleasure of creation that I did. As a result, they were given the reproductive organs needed to continue life and nurture it. The emotions that I felt while watching and nurturing my first creation caused me to place those same feelings in the females of Earth. At first, the only reason I created males was to provide their seeds to females for reproduction. They really had no other purpose."

"Are you attempting to make me feel better or call me useless-?" Chaos smacked the back of Percy's head.

"Hush. I was the only being other than my children, the primordials, so I didn't know how the emotions would affect the free beings I placed on Earth. They began to quarrel over space and territory, but only after the female was with child. The emotions made the females want their children safe, so they employed the males to fight for that safety. I then gave males aggressive tendencies so that they take their territories and respect others. After that, it was time to watch Earth develop and let my children adopt their own portions of the world based on their powers. I took notes and went throughout my universe, creating more worlds and sentient beings. Earth remains my first and only raw creation, which is why the best and worst come from there, my children are shaped by their observations of titans, gods, immortals, and mortals, and why I don't want it overrun and destroyed by Tartarus."

"Okay... so what I'm getting from this is that I need to fight for your planet better than I am now-" Chaos smacked the back of Percy's head.

"Hush. For modern-day humans, emotional knowledge and strength are no longer only prevalent in females. It's interchangeable between the genders. A strong female requires control over emotions and not letting them control her. Any other strong, positive trait can be acquired through life because of that emotional strength. For guys, it's more difficult. A strong male must have physical capabilities, mental capabilities, and the emotional strength to survive. Being the more aggressive gender, they need these things to all be in control before they fall into the instinct of hurting people who don't have those strengths."

"So now you'll-" Chaos smacked the back of Percy's head.

"Hush. Now I can explain your current plight. You certainly have the physical and mental capabilities to be a strong male. You actually exceed others with that to the point of being one of the best in the universe! There are ways to get even stronger, making it easier to protect it. You once told me that you feel like you're past your prime, and you're right. You were in your prime after the wars and was happy at Camp and preparing for a future with Annabeth. Think about it, any mini-quest you went on, it was done quickly and easily for one simple reason."

"Because I had a reason to fight, people to fight for, and nothing malignant at the time."

"In each fight, in each action, in each exchange, you had Annabeth, Sally, Estelle, Camp, Thalia, and everyone else in the back of your head giving you a reason to succeed and make it home. That in itself makes you more powerful than any foe you come across. Why do you think you joined the army and trained harder than anyone else? Why do you think you're so harsh with people who have run out of things to live for? Why do you think you couldn't fight the damn Tartarus poison?!"

"I could've fought that?"

"That poison preys on a weak soul and then uses it to rot you from the inside out. You were hurt by Annabeth, Artemis, not being able to be around your mortal family, and not being at camp. So at that specific moment of still being hurt from the moon goddess, the poison was able to get you. Do you see what I mean about needing specific reasons to fight? It gives you the emotional strength to succeed. The first females I created protected their young with those emotions, if you want that willpower, you must let people in the way you used to. This frozen heart you have is the reason you had that dream about a failure. You will not have the strength to win this war without having people to fight for. Please tell me that you will start letting people in and opening your heart back up. I already know the specific ones to start with..."

"Zoë, my specialists, and the hunters."

"And...?"

"That should be all for-" Chaos pinched the back of Percy's neck. "OW OKAY OKAY, I'll try to forgive Artemis as well."

"Thank you, Percy, I care about you a lot and only want you at your best and to succeed. I can't say I care about Earth more than I care about you, your brother, and each army, but if one can save the other, I'll be happier." Chaos sat Percy up and hugged him, engulfing him in invisible warmth that slightly cracked the ice surrounding his heart. They stood as she moved them back to her throne room.

Percy knelt down before speaking, "Lady Chaos, I promised to adhere to your requests to improve my life and, as a result, save your first creation." Chaos smiled and nodded at him before sending him back to his command centre.

"By the way, you should also check on Athena, you can't unlock a girl's hormones, then not go satiate them again. Duh!" Chaos whispered that little note in Percy's head as he felt her presence leave the area.

Line Break

The previous dinner on the assassin ship started a little awkward, but tonight it is very lively and energetic, with Percy's name popping up every once in a while. The hunters don't know that outside the ship, in real-time, it is midday, but they experienced a full day within that time. Artemis felt it but understood what they were told the day prior about time being altered for training, so she didn't mention it. The moon goddess was more focused on the possibilities that include Percy still seeing the hunters as his family. She knew that was the real reason her hunters were so happy during dinner.

Dinner was about half over when Isaiah finally showed up next to Zoë and Bianca. For a short second, something that only the assassins, Thalia, Alira, and Artemis saw, Isaiah's face showed a good amount of fatigue and the need for rest, but it was immediately replaced by a fake smile that looked genuine enough to ignore for now. Strangely, he did not take out food, the table brought out a cup of water for him.

"Wassup guys! Did Bianca talk to you guys about the optional power training with her?" After some head shakes and a sheepish look from the angel, Isaiah continued on to explain. "Those of us with godly powers can also use them during missions if needed. I know that some may shun their divine parent and, as a result, their powers as well, but any opportunity may arise that will cause them to be needed so you should know how to use them. I'm a son of Neptune that rarely uses my innate abilities, but that doesn't mean I'll never use them. I remember I needed to assassinate a politician on Tg- 3, but he knew that what he was doing was malignant to his government. Hence, he expected one of us to show up eventually. I trapped him in the top of a chapel; the only thing in the room besides us was a chandelier hanging above. He was trained enough to elude me and knew more things about the building than I did. I sensed that there was a hollow tunnel under us, directly behind him. Any wrong move and he can back up and drop into another new place I'd have to chase him through. Issue was... I wanted some chicken, so I needed to hurry up."

Kira looked at the assassin weirdly as some of the hunters laughed. "You rush missions because you have a craving?" The hunters began to laugh harder after the question.

"Listen, it really be like that sometimes! I wouldn't rush it to the point of risking my success, but I would rush to motivate me to not let my target's life linger. Anyways, I knew that I didn't have many actions I could take that wouldn't require some sort of movement without having backup in that sector of the universe. That means I have to kill him using something else... wait, the chandelier is full of water to distort the light in the room. That's something I can control without moving! You know how the movie villains have to explain their next diabolical plan or signal dramatically that they're gonna do something bad? As an assassin, you don't even need to speak during missions if it doesn't further your immediate goal. He started spouting bullshit, so once his leg untensed, I made the water in the chandelier make it explode, then turn into a thick mist. I then split into two and sent one behind him as he watched my form through the mist to see if I moved yet before he overreacts to the chandelier and playing right into my hands. Good move against a normal assassin, but not me. Snapped his neck and completed the mission."

"Isaiah said all that to say, if you have powers, there's never harm in training them, making sure you could control them, and having them at will for any situation that may come to pass. After dinner, I'm gonna be in the training room that Isaiah uses, and if anyone wants to join me, feel free. There isn't anyone I can't help, besides mortals, of course. That includes you, Artemis." Yet another reminder to the goddess that she isn't the most powerful or skilled person in the room. Bianca seems to be the main one putting Artemis down... the moon goddess might just attend to get a one on one with the former hunter.

The hunters understood and made their personal choices on power training. Isaiah smiled at everyone before disappearing almost as soon as he arrived. Zoë frowned and said goodnight to the hunters before teleporting as well, likely to go after the assassin. The hunters finished up their food and went their separate ways, some to explore the ship, some to their rooms, and the rest with Bianca to do power training.

Thalia was more than curious about the training methods that Isaiah may have used on Alira. The demigoddess knocked on the daughter of Aphrodite's door, hoping that the other would be willing to talk to a hunter. Children of the love goddess typically have some issues with the hunters and vice versa, but Alira seemed okay compared to her siblings so far.

The door opened to reveal Thalia's fellow assassin specialist wearing a light-blue nightgown in a room that screamed Aphrodite more than anyone had ever seen from Alira. Most of the room was soft-grey with pink as an accent wall. The demigoddess had her full name spelled on the wall in purple script with a few pictures of her and her dad around the room. She had a dresser with a mirror attached and a mounted 55' TV on the wall across from her bed. The room was simple but had way to much care, and cutesy looks in Thalia's opinion.

Alira herself was beautiful before the upgrades Chaos provided, but the daughter of Zeus had a clearer look at the girl and was stunned for a few reasons. Alira's breasts seemed to have gone up a size, her curves filled out even more, and her ass seemed firmer from what Thalia could see at the current angle. But the daughter of Aphrodite's face was breathtakingly beautiful, even more so than the goddess herself! Her warm-grey eyes had turned into a sharp silver that screamed beauty and power. Thalia could buckle just from staring at them for too long, so her focus shifted to the usual nervous smile that Alira wore- wait a minute. It's not nervous anymore! It's a natural welcoming smile that frames her face perfectly to add to the already many beautiful qualities.

Alira's smile turned into confusion as the Lieutenant of the Hunters stood at her door with her mouth agape. She quickly spun around to get a quick look in the mirror to see if something was wrong with her appearance. The movement shook Thalia out of her reverie as she realized how long she sat there and stared.

"Hey, wassup! Just wanted to check in since we're both training with Isaiah or Void or whatever you wanna call him."

"Sounds great, I think this will also be my first time speaking to you one on one. Piper has told me some cool things about you in the short time that she's known you!." Alira stepped aside, and the room expanded to make it wider as two heart-shaped armchairs popped up next to each other. They walked over and sat down, Thalia finding the chair super comfortable despite its appearance.

"Piper? She had to have been lying to you. I was the one who tried to burn her hair since you guys can control how much hair you have at any time."

"I remember that! That was pretty funny, so you're even better in my eyes now. How was your training with Isaiah? Mine was more mental than anything."

Thalia strangely faltered at something for a second before answering. "He's more annoying than anything. Isaiah wanted me to hurt him to assess how strong I could be, then threw me in an assassin simulation. The dude knew that I would fail at something and just sat there without any pointers or support with that annoying blank face. I guess it's only gonna get worse from here, so..."

"I got put into the simulation immediately to see if I could use bad weapons in tough situations and made it through to his surprise. Then he started telling me about powers I didn't know I had and didn't know how to activate. His methods to teach things are weird, though. Being that we are gonna be training for a while, can I trust you with not repeating some of the things I say?"

"Only if that goes both ways. I'm not sure if you got the same info that I got during the blessing, but we can also close off the room from Isaiah or anyone who can teleport for a while."

"Yep, that blessing was amazing with the knowledge it provided about Lady Chaos and how to use her technology! Anyway, while trying with Isaiah, he helped me increase the sexual pheromones I can output without specifically doing anything sexual. It's just that he helped me learn by kissing me!"

"Huh?!" Thalia did something just a little bit worst than kissing but was still surprised at something like that helping with training.

"Once our lips connected, I was taken into my mind like some sort of dream. A sexual fantasy occurred, and I wanted to have sex with the person in the dream, so I started outputting the pheromones like it was super easy. Once he pulled back, I was pulled back to focus, but it was hard to move or think. I did what he asked and realized that even if it was weird, it worked! Chaos came in soon after and blessed me, so it was way easier to do. Isaiah then had to mess up my happiness at a new power, so I used my power to get back at him, and he got horny with his defenses down."

"So that's why he was in the room like that! HAHA, the mentor got hit by the power he taught the mentee! That's very good to know." Thalia started to think about what she just learned. Isaiah freely kissed Alira and induced a fantasy just to get the training done, add that to the blowjob that he got soon after, and the dude looks more than a little weird. Does he do this type of stuff with all of his trainees? Did he do this with Bianca and Zoë? Does Lady Chaos know about this stuff taking place?

"So, did anything kinda weird happen to you during training?"

"Um..."

Line Break

Amy walked into the training room with two specific objectives. Figure out why she's being trained if her mom isn't an Olympian, and to see if Percy finds her attractive. The first one was absolutely necessary, but she was more focused on the second part. There's no way that the dream she had could come true. Annabeth ruined her chances with Percy, so all Amy had to do was form some sort of friends with benefits type of training. Each time she learned a new move, Percy could finger her. Maybe for each power she masters, he could eat her out. Then they get to the point where they end each training session with mind-blowing sex, and for the finale, Percy could destroy her asshole-

"AMY! I've said your name like five times now. We are wasting time, let's go!" The demigoddess turned red as her crush yelled at her for not paying attention.

Percy stepped back as mist covered the room they were in. When it cleared, there were several of him, completely identical and staring at her expectantly. Maybe she needs to pick out which is him? It's just bizarre because she can sense that some of them are illusions from the mist, but that means that there are several Percy's that aren't the mist. Wait a minute. Amy knew how to narrow it down.

Her eyes glowed green as she stared at the combination of Percy's. Suddenly, four of them pulled out Riptide and started to fight each other. That leaves three Percy's that could be the real one. Next, she should try to... try to... holy hell that took a lot of energy. Amy had to fall back for a second... before falling down altogether. The daughter of Hecate landed on a soft pad that sat her up, so she was upright.

"You have the brains to get things done, but maybe not the actual stamina. That'll be boosted after the injection, but still needs to be worked on like crazy." Percy shot her with a weird looking syringe and waited for the typical reaction.

Right as the pain was about to kick in, Amy realized what was going to happen and used a quick spell to ignore pain for 45 seconds. She could do more, but not during the day, magic is more potent at night. Percy's face was confused but registered Amy's smart move. He then summoned another pad like hers, but this one was made of ice.

"You're probably wondering why your mom is being recognized as having a specialist, right? Chaos asked me the same thing but realized the same thing I did after doing quick fact checks, your mom should've been an Olympian. Let's preface this with the fact that Dionysus is a damn Olympian, so the bar isn't that high to begin with honestly."

"Oh my god, my siblings and I talk about this all the time but want him removed so that Hestia would come back to the Council."

"Glad we are on the same wavelength! Your mother was another victim of Zeus' paranoia for people having more power than him. Once her powers fully manifested and her domain over magic had settled, the 'King' realized how common magic was and it's mystical abilities after nightfall. A few Olympians and other gods started to mention her power and her possibly being given a seat, so Zeus freaked about her popularity. He started rumors about dark magic and protecting the mortals from seeing the works and movements of gods and monsters with a mist. Magic and all things of the sort are chaotic evils that they only use if it's necessary."

"So he made my mom's domain seem eviler than it actually is? Zeus is the reason she defected to the Titans!"

"Exactly. He made Hecate out to be a monster just to curb any thoughts of her being worthy of a seat on the Council. Not only that, but as a result, no one would want to always pray to an evil goddess, so she was reduced to a minor goddess who remains near or in the underworld. Amy, believe me when I say, Hecate holds Olympian level power, and in turn, you do as well. We are gonna work to make you as powerful as possible to bring your mother the respect that she deserves. Think of it as a present that she and Zeus had a long time coming."

Amy's head couldn't wrap around anything besides how terrible Zeus is. There tons of stories about the so-called King destroying the life and reputations of others. This furthers his own short-term goals that aren't serious enough for his level of being fucked up. How could someone be fine with doing all these terrible things and not expect people to want to overthrow him or defeat all the gods and their kids? Forget this whole sexual thing, Amy is ready to get strong enough to spit in Zeus' fucking face!

The daughter of Hecate jumped up, full of energy from the injection and a high level of determination. Nothing was gonna distract her from her goals- Percy smiled at her readiness, and Amy almost melted right then and there.

"I'll warn you now, I test most of my specialists very specifically, but I'm going to delay your assessment. When it happens, you'll need to have control over your mystokinesis, control over empousai, hypokinesis, pyrokinesis, control over the mist, umbrakinesis, necromancy, and a secret one you'll find out as the days past. It sounds like a lot, but with this, you'll actually be able to spit in Zeus' face. Oh, yeah, close your thoughts, please. That's the only way I knew about the Zeus thing." Amy's face paled when he mentioned reading minds. She had been mentally undressing him every time he spoke! "I see your nerves exploding, relax. I only heard your vindictive thoughts because you practically screamed it in your head as you jumped up."

"Are we going to work on each of those things in the order you're providing for the test? Each of my siblings have some of those powers, but I don't think anyone can have them all."

"That is what makes you a specialist for your mother! You do have all of those abilities, and you're also gonna be able to master them. I want you to know that we can be friends. Yes, I am the stone-cold commander that forges warriors, but I'm also a former camper. We can chat, laugh, and cry together whenever you want. But the main objective to get you all powered up, okay?" Amy's jaw dropped after he said that, so surprised that she didn't notice the room around her disappear.

Suddenly, she and Percy were in the underworld. They both had tattered clothes, and the commander looked drastically different. Younger and far more vibrant than the one that Amy is being trained by.

"Um, Amy? I know we haven't formally met, but we have to make it out of here! I believe in us... but I need you to use your mom's powers. Many of the others might be scared of them, but I think all campers are good kids who need to do what they can to survive."

Amy realized that this was a situation like that training box Esmeralda gave them. Percy must be trying to figure out how fluent she is with her powers before training her for real. Okay, then they need to... need to...holy shit, Percy is so cute when he's looking at her like that! This is gonna be tough on Amy mentally more than anything.

Line Break

Esmeralda changed her training room, so it was as if they were on her home planet's hills. The land was speckled with yellow and purple flowers, a breathtaking spectacle that everyone appreciated. Until the training kicked in. Each specialist held golden dumbells in each hand that could change weight whenever Esmeralda wanted them to. They were told to walk up and down the hills until she said stop. Sounds easy, right?

Derrick held 105 pounds in each hand as he walked up and down the hills. It wasn't bad until he had to go down with a controlled descent... then go right up the next one. Each time he or another specialist faltered and slowed down, the sun beamed down on them to the point of being unbearable, and they started moving again. The son of Ares had enough pride to not give up, but it pissed him off to see some of the others doing better than him as if they were the strong ones. Katie gets tired, planting fucking strawberries during the week! How the hell is she going up and down the hills so easy.

"Stop looking at us, focus on moving yourself." Annabeth appeared next to Derrick after seeing his anger rising. It's not his fault he's hot-headed, it runs in his family. As a camp leader, she needs to help everyone, even if she's hurting a bit.

"How much do your damn dumbells weigh? Mine say 105, but that hill makes it feel like 150!"

"Mine are 65 lbs. Of course, we are all gonna have different weights, we have different abilities and skill-sets. You should be stronger than us, that's your focus as a son of Ares, and it's something that falls under your talents. I need to be capable enough to survive and use my brain, something that, no offense, no one is going to look to you for. The same goes for me lifting something or taking on a physically stronger enemy. Focus on something just for you, something to motivate you. Maybe... Nathalie from the Apollo Cabin?" Derrick turned insanely red at the last part but really appreciated the pep talk. Exercise with a buddy is ten times better than trying to compete with others or thinking about whether or not they have it better than you do.

The hills slowly started to level out until everyone found themselves walking on flat ground with the dumbells weighing less and less. Esmeralda returned the room to its original appearance and took the weights away from the specialists, just in time for Leo to return from his training.

The demigod came crawling out the room, his shirt tattered, his pants covered in monster and human blood, and his face littered with bruises. He backed away from the door with tears in his eyes as if he experienced a significant trauma just now. The other specialists saw Percy's dark mood this morning and were terrified of the way Leo may have been treated just now. Esmeralda rolled her eyes, something that Hazel and Annabeth caught on to.

The daughter of Pluto went up to Leo carefully, as if she were ready to console him for the struggles he just went through. Then she kicked him in the shin, causing him to jump up and howl in pain as he hopped around on his good leg and held the injured one. By then, the others realized and laughed at Leo's predicament since he deserved it.

"HEY! Dramatic or not, Percy was harsh with his idea of testing out my skills. This monster blood is real!"

"So, that means you happened to have human blood on your person?" Katie was used to Leo's gags, but the dude is too much to handle sometimes!

"It counts as a tool if I need to lure a monster that's attracted to blood... or if I wanna prank some suckers." Leo winked at the last part until Derrick growled at being called a sucker. The son of Hephaestus blanched before falling into formation with the rest of the specialists. As he walked, a purple poof fixed his clothes as they were before.

"Now that the theatrics are done, we need to focus on the basics. You may believe that you're proficient at killing monsters, but you can be better. When it comes to Earth's monsters, it should take roughly 2.4 seconds to kill one if there are at least 20 of them attacking you. That means that your movements have to be quick, precise, and powerful. Then move on to do that in quick succession for each enemy. That also means you need to have the stamina for that. Therefore, you'll all be fighting and killing monsters designed to kill you." The specialists looked at each other when she said that... what the fuck does she mean by that?!

The floor opened up in front of each of them and spat out monsters of all kinds. Each demigod paled for their own personal reasons, then the floor shifted so that everyone had proper spacing for their own battles. Esmeralda provided everyone with a weapon that was the complete opposite of what they were proficient with. The main reason she was moving quickly with the training was that Percy hasn't called in the next person yet. It's been about twenty minutes, what the hell could be taking so long? If he takes any longer, she'd have to check on him, but it's too early in training to trust that the demigods won't try to shortcut things if she's gone.

You know what? Easy solution.

Hey, Lady Chaos?

What's going on, Esmeralda?

Do you mind checking in on your commander? He seems to be useless right now. People need to get trained today, and you don't want to allow slack or delays while still early in training.

...

...

Okay, I can tell that he passed out from exhaustion again. I'll yell at him right now, you keep training them so that you can yell at him later on as well.

Do you think that it's us being on Earth that has him so wound up and unhappy? The only way we are getting through this war is if he's at the helm and mentally fit for it. I'm starting to worry about him.

I think that's precisely the issue. I'm gonna attempt to persuade him to open up more and forgive, but I'll need your help along with the rest of the captains. Maybe take him out to chill at a burger place in Manhattan. I'll let you know when he's ready to train again.

Esmeralda hoped that Chaos could get Percy to a happier state of mind, not only for training or Earth's sake but also because that's one of her closest friends. Percy didn't treat her like a genie who only needs to grant wishes or be a taxi service with her teleportation. He actually looked to her for brains and emotional stability. Percy understood her real abilities and not just the godly ones, so she feels the need to return the same love that he's shown her over all these years.

Within the thirty seconds that Esmeralda spent looking over the demigods and thinking, she felt Percy's presence return to the other room. Chaos probably used her Timeless Palace to deal with him, guess that means it's Amy's turn to be trained. Hopefully, the horny minx doesn't try to jump his bones as Annabeth did.

Artemis had been observing Bianca training the hunters in their suppressed powers and wondered if she should attempt to learn something too. A goddess knows her own domains and powers, but what if a disciple of Chaos could bring out hidden strengths? Then again, Bianca definitely has a problem with the goddess, and it's not clear why that is. It could be persuading her to join the hunters with a really good pitch, or maybe because she died too early, or even because she heard what happened with Percy. Artemis can't tell what it is, but there's no reason to hold grudges, so she needs a one on one with this assassin.

"Bianca, is there anything that I would need to work on?" Hopefully, this can tell the goddess if there is any animosity in the air. Bianca finished up with one of the hunters before turning to Artemis with the same blank face that Isaiah wears.

"You only use your lunarkinesis when the moon is visible, that shouldn't be the case. The sun provides light to the moon, so you should be able to control rays of sunlight to a certain extent. Turn those rays into a pure form of light, such as the moon's light, then your lunarkinesis is going to be accessible at any time. Not to mention that if someone gets near it or stares into, you can burn or blind them." Bianca said that and walked over to a huntress, didn't attempt to check if Artemis understood or if she had any questions. The moon goddess felt hurt that Bianca definitely had an issue with her and exposed that she doesn't know her powers, as well as she should know.

You know what? Artemis will work on that and make sure she's capable. Then she'll show Bianca and force conversation about her progress with the power during the next day's power training. Artemis left the room after she got her feedback and returned to her room to start training.

On her way there, she saw Thalia laughing as she left Alira's room.

"Hey Thalia, getting along with the other trainee?"

"Yep, Alira would have been a close friend if I weren't a hunter. It's crazy to think about how many more people I would know and be able to interact with if I had stayed a camper. Oh well, Imma go wait for Bianca to finish her training. She owes me more embarrassing stories about Isaiah and Zoë since I told her some about Percy!" Thalia left Artemis feeling even worse than before.

How many times is the moon goddess going to be reminded that she's limiting her huntresses' lives in some sort of way because of her customs? Her life has held a considerable amount of despair ever since Percy died, but it's been downright depressing since Chaos showed up.

"It's not going to listen to you if you treat it like a monster."

"But it is! I've seen them hurt my friends before!" Being a descendant of Hecate meant that Amy has some sort of control over empousai, but the girl didn't want that control. During the simulation of the underworld, Amy's tactical prowess come to surface, and Percy was greatly impressed until it came time for her to persuade the empousai to help them reach the exit. Rather than take her place as a child of Hecate that they should listen to, she felt disgusted by the thought and tried to kill them. That made her and the younger Percy fight for their lives to get out of there.

"Monsters weren't always bad. They're just like humans actually. If you see another species attacking your kind, it's natural to probably attack that species. Threats are also a big thing; if someone stronger than you is telling you to kill someone or be killed, you're likely going to kill the other person. And the biggest issue is when a monster dies and has to reform over time. That entire time, the only thing you could think about is the person who put you in that predicament and wanting to kill them. But wait, they're dead after all the time that passed. Someone has to pay for it, though, so they'll either go for the children of the culprit or demigods in general."

"What's the empousai excuse if they come from my mother? If anything, why do they attack me?"

"Your mother was pushed away by Zeus' neglect and disrespect, causing her to side with the titans. That means any and all empousai were allowed to kill demigods and be killed by them as well. It's hard to differentiate which demigod is which if all they go by is smell. That's why you should learn how to make yourself recognizable through your power and dominion over them. The empousai will be inclined to listen to you no matter how bad they wanna fight it. For now, you should, at the very least, not talk to them terribly. The only way that works is if you put enough fear into them... no offense, but that's not gonna happen for a while."

"I'll do my best to work on something like that if you want me to. I'll do anything for you." Amy gave Percy a beautiful smile and looked for any reaction. Unfortunately, she was met with an equal smile that almost destroyed her brain with the rush of hormones.

Percy dismissed her and thought about how that session went. He wasn't sure if he forced the happiness too much, but he knew that it was better than what he would've done if Chaos hadn't pulled him for a bit and relieved him of his fatigue. The next specialist was Katie, so hopefully, it'll be easier to get along with a former friend and hunter.

The door appeared and slid open, maybe Esmeralda was ready to move on faster than he was. Percy turned around, and green eyes met green eyes for a few seconds. Then the second pair watered as Katie sprinted into Percy's arms. It was hard for the demigoddess to miss him so much, but he didn't address her outside of speaking to the entire group. They bonded as campers, and in the hunters, how could Percy ignore her for so long?

"I missed you too, Katie!"

"No, you didn't! I felt as if I didn't exist for the past few days! We were great friends, defending Olympus and shit, then defending the hunters. You even put in a great word for me to Artemis even though I hadn't fully sworn off boys yet. All that until you died and left me heartbroken and feeling like I lost one of the only friends in my life! Then we walk in your building, and you treat me like any common soldier..." Katie rambled and rambled on about how fucked up Percy made her feel until she was red in the face and about to break into tears. Unfortunately for her, she looked up at Percy's face, expecting to see the stone-cold face that's been there since he arrived. Instead, the former camper was met with Percy's signature crooked smile, and all of her lecturing words were converted into wanting to hit him over the head while she attempted to hide a smile.

"I'm sorry about that Mom, am I grounded now?" Percy loved to tease the girl about how bossy and motherly she became when angry at someone, but he wouldn't have it any other way. Katie glared at him for a second before smiling and giving him a normal hug. As lovely as it would be to catch up and be all sweet, they've never had that type of friendship. If there is something to be accomplished, they are on it until there's nothing left to be productive with.

The room was converted into an arid desert filled with dracaena, Katie guesses that she should probably kill them. But no weapons around... that's great. That means that Percy is testing what she could do out of her element, without any weapons.

The demigoddess turned and ran away from the concentration of snake-ladies. There has to be something around, even a desert has some form of life nearby. Finally, she finds a cactus. If there's one, there are up to a dozen nearby. Katie reached out to the desert ground and found all the buried plant life that barely made it, or couldn't reach the underground water supply. With a little oomph, the daughter of Demeter was able to bring life to the plants and grow them to the surface and her location.

Next step, form a wall with the prickly sides of the cacti to temporarily protect her from the dracaena. Katie drained the cacti of some water to harden the surface, even more, adding a few minutes to the barricade. Last step, use the other plants to create a bow and arrows. Pulling all the plants to herself was already mentally taxing, but Katie needed to kill the dracaena, so it has to happen. After draining and growing several plants, she was able to create a bow and five arrows. Not nearly enough, but the aggressive hissing told her that the snake-women were gonna get through any second now.

Katie made the cacti fly forward to the enemy, causing damage and hysteria and used her hunter prowess to fire all five arrows in quick succession and each netting a kill. She slid forward to grab the sword falling from one's hand and shoved it into the chest of the next one. The demigoddess put her bow around the next dracaena's head and pulled until it burst into dust. It dropped a mini-ax that Katie used to fend off and kill the upcoming five snakes.

There were still too many to handle, and they recovered from the pricks of the cacti. However, Katie is still a hunter. When in distress, they can call on their lieutenant and/or mistress. In this case, Katie prayed to Thalia for assistance without even remembering that this was a simulation and that she was in Percy's command centre. Help still arrived though, as lightning the size of Zeus' Bolt came down and decimated all of the dracaena.

Um... WHAT THE FUCK THALIA. Katie had known the daughter of Zeus for years and had never seen that powerful of a bolt from her. Especially not in support from a prayer! The room dissolved into the original training room and showed Percy staring at the new hole in the ceiling with a surprised smile on his face.

"Hmm, that training with Isaiah must be increasing Thalia's power ten-fold. Zeus is definitely upset now."

"That really was her?! How the hell could she have gotten that strong all of a sudden? It's only been a day since I've seen her- OW." Katie asking that question made Percy remember to turn her into a Chaotic warrior now that she's proven proficient enough with her current being. And as you know by now, that is a painful minute to experience.

Katie fell back on the floor, not used to internal pain like that, and looked up at the ceiling, needing it to be over. Once the pain ended, she wanted to grow an Ashwagandha herb to make her feel better. With a slight tug in her gut, she felt the ground rumble beside her. Suddenly, the plant flew out of the ground with the powder needed to extract the herbs. Katie sat up in surprise, how did that just fly out without them being in India?

Percy smiled, it's always fun to see new warriors see their powers, and he finally gets to see that reaction from some of the people he grew up with. But about the giant fucking hole in the ceiling...

Bianca felt a little nervous about meeting with Thalia again. After their encounter in the morning, the demigoddess had been looking at her strangely. Bianca is fine with attempted friendships not working out, but she really wants this one to work, and she doesn't know why. After Kira finished learning the extent of her powers without needing Katie, Bianca was ready to teleport to her room.

Thalia then walks into the room with a friendly smile that melted all of the assassin's dread but then froze in alarm. The daughter of Zeus looked up and strained her face before smiling again.

"Um... Is everything okay?"

"As Lieutenant of the Hunters, any hunter or former follower of Artemis can pray to me or milady for assistance. I don't know what Percy is doing to Katie, but she prayed to me, so I just blew up everything in front of her. Before you guys got here, that would've taken a lot outta me, but that level of bolt wasn't even pushing my limits!" Thalia never really had a happy smile on her face. It was always more of an amused smirk or smiling because something is funny. But this smile right now was an excited one, ready to keep growing with her powers and become an all-powerful assassin.

"That's a really nice feature of the hunters I honestly forgot about. I definitely didn't know that power was extended to the lieutenant. Well, we should-" Bianca was cut off by her and Thalia being teleported to Isaiah's center. The master assassin looked annoyed enough to kill someone as Thalia regained her bearings from being moved.

"What the fuck did you do? Zeus keeps requesting entrance to the ship, and it's starting to piss me off when I have a lot of shit to do! Either you handle your father, or he will never be seen again! Fuck!" Isaiah ripped a hole in the air and jumped in the void he created to get away from the ship.

Bianca made eye contact with Thalia to make sure she was ready to speak to Zeus. The girl looked like she knew a few possible reasons why this was happening, but Bianca saw fear on the girl's face for the first time since they met. Thalia does know that she's already stronger than Zeus, right?

"Okay, I guess you can let him in..." The assassin nodded and waved her hand towards the door the hunters arrived from a couple of days ago.

Zeus came flying through the door with killer intent and looked around, likely expecting to see Isaiah, but only found his daughter and Bianca looking at him like he's crazy.

"Where's the assassin? No one tells the King of the Gods to shut the fuck up and fuck off!"

"He's not here. We assume you came here for something that has to do with your daughter?"

"Not just that! The lot of you killed several campers while claiming that you're here to help. I don't care how powerful you think you are, this is my planet and-"

"Father, please stop trying. We just wanted to know why you wanted to get on the ship because you're technically trespassing on assassin property. If Isaiah were here, he'd probably kill you!"

Zeus looked critically at his daughter and realized how much older she seemed, and the power rolling off of her confirmed his suspicions.

"It was you that sent the giant bolt of lightning into the camp! It struck inside of the place that Perseus created, and now people are looking at me as if I tried to attack him."

"Percy has already addressed that with his men, and the issue is cleared up. Now you may take your leave." Bianca was starting to get upset from just hearing this arrogant prick speak. And if Thalia is uncomfortable, that's definitely an issue.

"Where did you get this power? Are you attempting to grow strong enough to usurp me? That show of power seemed like a challenge to me!"

"Father, what the hell are you on about? I was helping Katie with something sand she happened to be in that building. This had nothing to do with you. Not to mention that it wasn't even that impressive of a bolt..."

"So you're already capable of more from training with that stupid assassin? I see. This means the prophecy is coming to fruition." Zeus gave his daughter a hard look before gathering as much energy as possible and striking her down with his symbol of power.
