Arcane Voice

"It seems we meet again, everyone. Welcome to Nico's Smiley's recap room!" Nico greets the viewers. "Yuzu is finally on her third match he needs to qualify for the Junior Youth Championship! Her opponent this time it the Divination Duelist who can see the future, Satoru Unmei! Yuzu has been pushed into a corner both psychologically and in the Duel by his Flip Monsters…And soon after, her newly Pendulum Summoned monsters were all forced into Defense Position, leaving her with no outs!" He recaps. "And on top of that, she was given a startling prophecy…" Nico states. "Now, let's have Tarotrei divine your future!" Satoru declares. The Ritual Monster reveals the Tower tarot card "The card Tarotrei has shown is The Tower in Upright Position. The meaning this card holds is collapsing, falling and tragedy" Satoru explains. He then had a vision of Yuzu falling off a tower. "Just stop! If you continue what you're doing, your life will be at risk!" Satoru tells Yuzu. "After being told of such frightening prophecy, just what fate awaits Yuzu?" Nico wonders. "And her other fated opponent is…" He muses as he looks in a crystal ball, seeing Gongenzaka, who was facing off against Yaiba Todo on a shore platform. "I won't hold back!" Yaiba exclaims. "All right!" Gongenzaka said as waves crash in the background.

Yuzu stands with no cards in her hand and only 1300 LP, compared to Satoru's 4000. "Her life will be at risk…?" Ayu wonders what Satoru meant by that. "That's ridiculous! He's just saying nonsense to throw her off!" Tatsuya claims. "But, Yuzu is in a shiver-inducing pinch right now!" Futoshi protest. "All of her Pendulum Summoned monsters have been forces into Defense Position. And because of Petalelf's effect, she can't change their positions this turn. Oh top of that, since she did a full-field Pendulum Summon, her hand is empty!" Tatsuya admits. "She really is in a life or death situation!" Ayu gasps. "It's true that I don't have any options ring now, but I still have my monsters! As long as I have them, I can still fight!" Yuzu thinks. "It seems you're still willing to fight!" Satoru notes. "But if you don't want to be seriously injured, hurry up and surrender!" He urges Yuzu. "What're you talking about, getting seriously injured during a Duel?" Yuzu dismissed. "I end my turn now!" She declares.

"So you don't intend on stopping…" Satoru realizes. "My turn, Draw!" He declares. "I Set one monster in face-down Defense Position!" Satoru said. "Another face-down defense one!" Futoshi gasps. "What monster is it this time?!" Tatsuya wonders. "At this moment, I activate Prediction Princess Tarotrei's other effect!" Satoru declares. "This card can turn all Flip Monsters on my field face-down!" He explains. "Full Sleep!" Satoru declares and Prediction Princess Petalelf returns to its face-down position. "They're face-down again!" Ayu gasps. "The DEF on all of Yuzu's monsters are below 2600…Any one of them could be destroyed by Tarotrei!" Tatsuya worried. "They're all easy pickings!" Futoshi gasp. and Yuzu was clearly anxious. "With this, I end my turn" Satoru simply states. "What?" Yuzu confused as well as her supporters. "I have no reason to attack you now. After all, your fate has already been decided" Satoru claims.

"My future hasn't been set in stone yet!" Yuzu retorts. "My turn, draw!" She declares and drawsMelodious Call. "I change Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra into Attack Position!" Yuzu declares and Mozarta rears up (ATK: 3800). "A futile act!" Satoru calls it. "I activate Tarotrei's effect!" He declares. "Once, on my opponent's turn, this card can turn face-down monsters on my Field into face-up Attack Position!" Satoru explains. "Full rebirth" He declares as the extra sets of arms of Tarotrei grasp the Set monsters and flip Prediction Princess Petalelf and Prediction Princess Astromorrigan over (ATK: 800, ATK: 1300). "So he can freely flip his monsters up and down?" Yuzu realizes. "That's right! This is the power of the holy priestess who governs the fate of the cards, Tarotrei!" Satoru confirms. "Next, I activate Petalelf's effect!" He declares. "This card turns all monsters my opponent controls to Defense Position, and they cannot change their positions for the rest of the turn!" Satoru explains (Mozarta's DEF: 2000). "I knew it…" Yuzu mutters. "Then that means Yuzu's monsters will remain in Defense Position this turn, too!" Tatsuya bemoan. "So she can't attack this turn either!?" Futoshi bemoan. "Furthermore, I activate Astromorrigan's Flip Effect!" Satoru declares. At the end of this turn, it will destroy all Defense Position monsters my opponent controls!" He explains. Yuzu gasps in shocked. "Then, it will deal 200 points of damage to my opponent for each monster destroyed this way!" Satoru adds. Yuzu and her supporters gasp in shock. "So the reason he didn't attack last turn was to make this effect deal more damage!" Tatsuya realizes. "My victory was decided ever since I Set my first card on the Field!" Satoru claims. "Th-there's no way that's…"Yuzu protest. "No, there is. Do not avert your eyes and look at the truth presented in front of you! The fate of destruction that awaits you!" Satoru remind Yuzu and Yuzu remembers all of the signs of fortune-telling that indicated bad luck and destruction. "You can still make it. To save yourself from your own destruction, surrender now" Satoru tells Yuzu. "Fate…destruction…" Yuzu whispers. In the stands "This won't do…She's being entrapped by a fortune-telling opponent. Yuzu needs to break the mold and show me an expected Entertainment Duel!" Nico muse. "Allowing this Duel to continue is dangerous" A woman holding a crystal ball declares. "Yes, my divination tells me this as well. We should have them stop as soon as possible!" Another holding chopsticks agrees. "You truly cannot defy fate" A third, holding tarot cards, claims. "I set one card and end my turn…" Yuzu said. "At this moment, Astromorrigan's Flip Effect destroyed all of your monsters!" Satoru declares. Astromorrigan extends its sword and it slashes through Ashira the Melodious Diva, Carol the Melodious Diva, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra, Glissando the Melodious Diva and Rayna the Melodious Diva, destroying them all. "And you take 200 times 5, 1000 points of damage!" Satoru declares. Astromorrigan lets loose a blast of sparkles at Yuzu (Yuzu's LP: 300). "Destroyed Pendulum Monsters are sent to the Extra Deck!" Yuzu explains as she holds up Mozarta, Carol and Glissando. "Now do you understand? I'm saying this out of concern for you. If you continue this struggling like this, you'll do something that can't be undone!" Satoru asks Yuzu. Yuzu didn't respond "It doesn't matter what I say, does it?" Satoru mutters.

"My turn, Draw!" He declares. "I activate Tarotrei's effect!" Satoru states. "All Flip Monsters on my Field are put in face-down Defense Position!" He said. "Full Sleep!" Satoru declares. "The card I just set, Melodious Call, allows me to negate a direct attack…And add "Melodious" monsters from my Deck to my hand whose total DEF equal the negated monster's ATK! With Petalelf and Astromorrigan face-down, the only one who can attack me now is just Tarotrei With this, I can fend off a direct attack and add another monster to my hand…" Yuzu thinks. "Didn't I tell you to stop struggling?" Satoru asks Yuzu. "Let me divine the consequences of your actions with this Action Card" He states as he ascends to an Action Card. "This is…!" Satoru surprised. "I activate the Action Spell: Lock Draw!" He declares. "Until the opponent sends an Action Card to their Graveyard, they cannot draw!" Satoru explain as Chains bind Yuzu's Duel Disk. "Draw sealing!?" Yuzu exclaims. "The cards themselves are telling you to stop fighting against your destiny" Satoru claims. "I won't criticize you, just surrender" He tells Yuzu. "If I give up here, my path to being a pro will…I don't want that!" Yuzu refuses, and she runs off to look for an Action Card. "It's come to this, and she's still…If this is how it's going to be, then I have to end this Duel as soon as possible!" Satoru decides. "I set one card and end my turn!" He declares. "The card I set, Reverse Reuse, is a Trap Card that allows me to Special Summon…Two Flip Effect monsters from my Graveyard onto my opponent's Field in face-up Defense Position. When I activate this, I can use my Petalelf and Astromorrigan combo to end this Duel for sure. I can end it without fulfilling that prophecy!" Satoru thinks. But just as he finishes that train of thought, a link in the massive chandelier up above snaps.

Meanwhile "I will now make a direct attack with Frightfur Bear!" Sora, dressed in royal garb, slowly sings in opera fashion. "With that, my life is now zero!" Sora's opponent sings as he was thrown back by Frightfur Bear's arm, (Opponent's LP: 0) and he land on the floor. "I did it, that's six wins!" Sora cheers. "Congratulation! Now you're qualified to enter the Junior Youth Championship!" Yuya congratulates Sora. "Well, for someone of my ability, this was a given" Sora claims. "Umm, actually, Sora…" Yuya attempts to tell Sora something. "Alright, let's go! If we don't hurry, Yuzu's Duel will be over!" Sora remains Yuya as he grabs Yuya's wrist and runs off.

Yuzu sprints along the walkway "My turn!" She declares. "Due to the effect of Lock Draw, you can't Draw!" Satoru reminds her. "I already know that! But still, I will..!" Yuzu snaps, leaping for a higher walkway. "Stop this already! Continuing this Duel will not benefit you in any way!" Satoru yells at Yuzu. "Give up already! Don't you hear me telling you it's dangerous!?" He begs as Yuzu climbs up to the next walkway. Spotting an Action Card, Yuzu sprints hard towards it. Up above, one of the chains shatters, and the chandelier begins to sway, raining down stone from the ceiling. Still sprinting, Yuzu makes a desperate leap for the Action Card, only just grabbing it. Then the chandelier breaks fully loose, crashing down on Yuzu and burying her in the rubble. Satoru looks away in distress and screams. He looks at the carnage in shock, as does the crowd, and turns away.

Then, Yuzu burst from the rubble, "Action Spell: Miracles!" She yells as she holds the Action Card. "Alright!" Tatsuya cheers. "You did it, Yuzu!" Ayu cheers. "Shivers!" Futoshi cheers. "It can't be…Her fate changed? She overcame her life-threatening crisis with a miracle!?" Satoru asks. "She opened up the previously closed-off path to her future!" The principal of the School muses. "I send one Action Card to my Graveyard and dispel Lock Draw!" Yuzu declares as she sents Miracle to the Graveyard, Yuzu dispels the chains from Lock Draw. "Alright, with this I…I'll bet it all on this one card! Draw!" Yuzu states.

It's Polymerization, Yuya's card. Yuzu freezes "Polymerization!? This is Yuya…Why is it…" Yuzu wonders

She remembers bumping her head on her desk and dislodging a few cards that got mixed in with her Deck.

"That's why, it was back then…" Yuzu realizes. "I was betting my future on this draw…Why did I draw a card I can't use?!" Yuzu bemoan. Then she sees the shadow of a pigtail fairy, "What was that?" Yuzu gasps. Rising to her feet, Yuzu balances carefully as she walks onto a portion of rubble "Ladies and Gentleman!" Yuzu declares. "Already setting my Pendulum Scale to 1 and 9 are Arial and Dulcet! With this I'm able to summon any monster between Levels 2 and 8!" She explains, and the two Sorceress bow. "Swing, pendulum of souls! Draw an arc of light across the ether! Pendulum Summon! Come forth, my monsters!" Yuzu chants as, Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra (ATK: 2600), Carol the Melodious Diva (DEF: 2100) and Glissando the Melodious Diva (DEF: 2300) emerge from the Summoning portal. "Take a look at these gallant figures! The formerly defeated Pendulum Monsters have made a second showing from the Extra Deck!" Yuzu tells the audience. "Alright, here comes the counterattack!" Ayu cheers. "But wait…" Tatsuya said. "I activate Tarotrei's effect! Full Rebirth!" Satoru declares, flipping his face-down monsters into face-up Attack Position. Petalelf (ATK: 800) and Astromorrigan (ATK: 1300) were flipped face-up. "With Petalelf's Flip Effect, all of my opponent's monsters are switched to Defense Position!" He states (Mozarta's DEF: 2000). "Not this pattern again!" Futoshi complains. "Isn't it great you avoided your fate of destruction? Now I can win this duel with a clear conscience" Satoru comments. "When this turn is over, Astromorrigan's effect will destroy all of your Defense Position monsters and inflict 200 damage for each! Since your LP is at 300, this will be the end for you" He reminds Yuzu. "Now you understand, don't you? You cannot win this Duel!" Satoru states. "I wonder about that, master" Yuzu comments. "Master?!" Satoru shocked at the respectful honorific. "I activate Ashira the Melodious Diva's effect!" Yuzu declares. "By banishing this card from my Graveyard, I can return two cards on the Field to my hand!" She explains. Ashira appears between Arial and Dulcet and carols , causing them to return to card form. "Return to my hand Arial and Dulcet!" Yuzu calls out. As the image of the fairy appear in Yuzu's mind "Just wait, I'm going to free you…"She tells it. "Now, I'll Tribute Glissando the Melodious Diva and Tribute Summon the Level 5 Arial the Melodious Sorceress" Yuzu states (ATK: 1200). Sora and Yuya arrives "Good, it's not over yet!" Sora pleased. "And now!" Yuzu said as she card from her hand. "That's-!" Yuya recognizes the card.

"I activate the Spell Card: Polymerization from my hand!" Yuzu declares. "What?!" Nico shock. "Yuzu's going to Fusion Summon!?" Sora shock. This also shock the kids and Yuya. Yellow light glows in Yuzu's Extra Deck and it opens to reveal a glowing card. "The monster I choose to fuse are Arial the Melodious Sorceress and Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Yuzu declares. As they align themselves in the Fusion vortex "Wielder of mysterious vocals, become a dazzling melody in the eyes of the maestra! Fusion Summon! Come forth! Arcane maestra of ancient magic! Musia the Melodious Pendulum Mystic!" Yuzu chants (ATK: 3000). The massive maestra, with a glamour patch over its eye, appears as it binds to a golden ring on its back, suspended behind Yuzu. "Th-this is…" Nico gasps. "A 3000 ATK Fusion Monster?!" Satoru shock. "But too bad you won't be able to wipe out my life with that! Your fate remains unchanged!" He claims. "Mister, if Musia the Melodious Pendulum Mystic used a Spellcaster-Type monster that was on the Field as Fusion Material, the amount of times it can attack my opponent's monsters changes based on the Level of that Spellcaster!" Yuzu, Smiling, explains. "What did you say?!" Satoru asks Yuzu. "It fused with Mozarta the Melodious Pendulum Maestra!" Tatsuya cheers. Arial the Melodious Sorceress's Level is 5!" Ayu cheers. "When the Fusion Material's level is 5 or 6, it can attack three time!" Yuzu explains. "It's Showtime!" She declares and a spectral form of Arial the Melodious Sorceress appears, becoming an As Yuzu leaps on Musia back, the orb of energy which splits into a triangle which bonds to the ring on Musia back, and Musia hovers in front of Satoru. "Battle Phase, Mister" Yuzu decalres. Satoru was enchanted, depicted as heart-effects, as Musia begins to glide along the walls, and Satoru's platform lowers. "I attack Astromorrigan, Petalelf, and Tarotrei!" Yuzu declares as spotlights shines on them. "Now here comes the climax! Eternal Luminous Stream!" Yuzu declares. Beams of energy spear from each of the corners of the energy triangle and destroy all three of Satoru's monsters in turn. Satoru sees Yuzu wink at him, and his eyes sparkle and his nose bleeds as he is thrown backwards (Satoru's LP: 0).

Yuzu lands as the Solid Vision dissipates "Hey!" Futoshi calls out as Yuzu's friends runs over to her. "You did it, Yuzu!" Ayu congratulate her. "A Fusion from a Pendulum Summon, it should be called Pendulum Fusion, right?" Tatsuya suggests. "Pendulum Fusion?! Gives me shivers!" Futoshi exclaims. "Pendulum Fusion?" Yuzu repeats. "That was amazing! I knew you'd do something amazing! You pulled off a perfect Fusion Summon without me teaching you anything!" Sora cries. "Wait, Sora, Yuya! When did you get here?" Yuzu surprises. "Yuzu, that was…" Yuya wonders. "Ah, sorry! I used this without asking you" Yuzu admits as she pulls out the Polymerization card. Yuzi hold out the card in front of Yuya, who looked confused. "I'm giving this back to you" Yuzu tells Yuya. "Huh? Are you sure?" Yuya asks. "Of course!" Yuzu replies and Yuya takes back his card. "With that, you're trying changed yourself into a different Yuya from up until now! Now it's my turn! Yuzu points out. "Thanks to you, I got a hint on how to do it!" She states. "Next time, I'll grasp what lies beyond Pendulum Summoning with my own hands!" Yuzu vows. The two of them share a moment, gazing at each other, until "My fated person!" The infatuated Satoru calls Yuzu as he tackles her. "Yuzu!" Yuya shock. "I knew you were my fated person! You made my heart go pitter-patter just now! My divination wasn't wrong at all!" Satoru exclaims. "Hold on, fated person? What is the meaning of this?" Yuya, infuriated, ask as he raises his fan slowly. "No, I don't really get it either!" Yuzu protest. "Oh my, darling, there's no need to be so shy!" Satoru reassures Yuzu. "Yuzu!" Yuya, who was further enrages, growls Yuzu's name menacingly as their friends watch in apprehension. "I just told you this isn't-!" Yuzu tries to protest. "Who is that boy to you?!" Yuya angrily asks asthe principal rises to her feet, and Yuzu screams in terror. "Darling and I are bound together by fate!" Satoru claims. "I wonder what fate awaits this young girl who can create her own destiny…?" The principal wonders as she watches in amusement as Yuzu, with Satoru still attached, attempts to flee from Yuya. She looks into her crystal ball "This is…!" She gasp. The ball cracks in half as she looks at Yuzu worriedly. "Stop running!" Yuya yells as he continues to chase Yuzu. Yuya!" Yuzu cries. Yuya finally lands a smack on Yuzu's head with his fan. "Darling? When can I meet your mother and father? How many kids do you want?" The oblivious Satoru asks. "I'll definitely change that fate!" Yuzu screams
