You stood at the TARDIS doors, shaking, and fumbled for your key. Unlocking the door, you saw the Doctor standing at the console, oblivious to what had just happened. Glad to see him , you rushed over and flung your arms around his skinny body, now crying.

The Doctor quickly pulled you over to the jump seat, his arm not leaving your shoulders, and hurriedly pulled you into his lap, not saying anything, just cradling you. He let you cry into his chest, him gently stroking your hair. Finally he spoke in his gentle tone of voice:

'I'll always be here for you', pressing a kiss to your temple.
