DOCTOR WHO:

THE SOUND OF HER VOICE

WRITTEN BY ZARIUS

The large lush growth covered the ruins as The Doctor, wearing a hood and covered in a grey overcoat, trudged through them, following the sound of her voice

The voice that had echoed through all her lifetimes.

She wondered how far she had come, through time and space, to cross into this stage of the unknown.

So much of home had scared her, so much the worlds that she had touched had scarred many of her companions.

She would not scar, and she would not scream.

She would follow the sound of her voice to wherever it echoed, the wheezing groaning sound.

She extended her hand as the sound grew louder, a key materialized in her hand. There was a loud thud, and a shape appeared before her

She removed her hood, smiled, and stormed forward.

Towards her voice.

The sound of hope throughout all her lifetimes, and a million more she would bless with.

Towards the TARDIS

And adventure anew.
