chapter 25 enjoy

Two days later

Everyone Natsu asked to go with him was standing in the center of the guild.

Before them written in light was the network of all the dark guilds in Fiore.

The conversation went the same up until Lucy pointed out Natsu was missing.

"Natsu went on ahead to scope out the situation," Makarov informed, getting their attention.

"He's right, Ultear added.

With Natsu

Natsu had just made to Bob's second home, and to his surprise, Jellal was waiting for him.

"Taking a risk coming here by yourself, don't ya think Jellal?"

"Your right, but didn't want to be late."

"If you say so."

"What about you? I figure you'd come with the others?"

"I needed to check on something."

"What?"

He pulled out the picture he got from Yukino, handing it to him.

"I see, well, a guild as strong as they are bound to take precaution since the alliance has ears everywhere," he hands it back to him.

"Yeah, and I'm looking at a former one," he said with an evil grin.

Jellal cringed at his words before glaring at him only for Natsu to laugh it off.

"I'm just teasing Jellal lighten up!"

He took a deep breath before exhaling "the other should be here by tomorrow."

"Figured as much."

"That reminds me, when I was talking to my counterpart, I mention something about time travel, and he had a pained look in his eyes. Care to enlighten me?"

"I was hoping you would talk about that." he let out a sigh, "let's just say the time I came from things went bad rally bad!"

"Was I involved with it?"

"Not saying, but I will say this, you proved to be a valuable ally even asking us for help but that all I'm gonna say. Don't tell anyone, especially Erza!"

"I won't, but was there blood on my hand beyond the tower construction?"

"Yes"

"...That all I needed to know."

"Good!"

The rest of the day was quit between them as they waited for the others.

The next day

Natsu was waiting outside the mansion when a familiar scent crossed his nose.

He held up the photo of Yukino and Sorano, "I hope this works."

Making sure to be quit, and with the power of his nose, he tracked her down.

Based on the other scent, she was alone.

He found her hiding behind a tree at the back entrance as Ichiya was heading to the restroom.

"STOP!" this gets her attention.

She pulls out her keys, ready for him.

Natsu pulled out the picture from his pocket looks between her and the picture for appearances.

"They're something you need to see" he throws it to her.

She catches it with her point and middle finger.

When she lays eyes on it, her eye nearly popped out of her head.

Natsu didn't say a thing as he watched her emotion on her face go wild.

"Your sister misses you, she at an orphanage hoping for the day to see her sister again.

He then takes his leave.

"WAIT!" he turns to face her before smiling.

"Thank you...Flame prince," she said with a smile as tears stream down her face.

"Its no problem, but. If you really want to see your sister again….you know what you have to do and its Natsu" he left her to her thought to ponder how to go from here.

Once he was far enough away, he pulls out a communication lacrima.

It wasn't long before he herds to the voice of Roubaul.

"Yes, who is it?"

"RoulBaul, it's me, Natsu, letting you know I'm taking care of Nirvana just like I promise you a few years back."

"That good to know Natsu I'll finally be able to rest peacefully now."

"I'll swing by once we're done to see you off."

"You don't have to do that, Natsu."

"I insist since it's been a while, and we can do some shopping at the nirvit trading post!"

"Fine, but at least now I can close up shop permanently."

"I hear ya well see ya later."

"By" was all he said before the connection shut off.

He casually walks to the front, stepping inside to see the tri-men and Jellal.

"Where were you?"

"Just had to check on something real quick Jellal" jellal simply nodded, knowing what he meant after seeing the photos earlier.

It wasn't long before the rest showed up, and in an instant, Ultear was by his side, and Wendy got a quick hug.

Then the real Ichiya went into an explanation on Orcacion Seis and there objective for mysterious power called Nirvana.

Then Hibiki showed off his archive magic and gave a rundown on the six wizards and their magic.

Jellal had a pained look in his eye, getting Erza attention and Natsu.

"We have 15 to there six, but that's our only advantage."

The one that stuck out the most was there poison devil slayer Viper.

Based on the picture, she has long black hair.

Her eyes were dark to the point you can't tell where the iris end and the pupil starts.

Where sleeveless black shirt with dark blues jeans and shoes.

On her left arm is what they assume is her poison devil slayer mark.

The mark in question looks like a cloud fully wrapped around her arm.

Sebastian Cobra and Gray traded glances silently, nodding to each other.

Erza pulled Jellal away, wanting to know why he had a pained look in his eyes.

"Jella, what is it you know about them?" she said in a hushed tone.

Knowing it was pointless, "they were at the tower alongside you, and the others...I let Brain take them to form that guild. But it seems not all of them joined him" he looks to Cobra, resting against a pillar beside Natsu and Ultear.

"Right, you don't know apparently Natsu found him on his way from a job when we were kids."

"That good to hear, but I have no idea who the devil slayer it."

"Will worry about it later," she dragged him back to the group.

With the plan set, the embarked towards the worthwood sea.

Natsu kept an ear before hearing movement off to the side.

He glances toward seeing Sorano off in the distance.

From what he remembers in the old timeline, Sorano was on her own when she took down Ichiya.

He just hopes she won't become a problem when the rest of her guild shows themselves.

He walked up behind Jellal before whispering, "Jellal, you should keep yourself hidden for now, or things could get ugly for you."

"Agreed" was his response as he purposely lagged behind them.

When Erza saw this, Natsu and Jella simply put their finger to there lips telling her to keep quiet.

"If Oracion Seis is as stronger as you say Hibiki, we should try and separate them if they attack all at once," he declared.

"That is a good point."

"Dibs on Viper," Gray and Cobra said in unison.

"What brought this on" Lucy shouts.

"She a poison devil slayer right me and Gray are perfect," Cobra said with a chuckle.

"You still haven't answer why?" Hibiki said

"You talking to poison dragon slayer and an Ice devil slayer Cobra start but Gray finished.

"I don't have a problem with it," Natsu supported them.

"Now that you mention it. It is a good idea for us tackles then based on what magic they use."

"I'll handle Hot eye. We're both practice earth magic," Jura stated.

Unfoirtualy they didn't have time to dwell on who fought who as their airship was just shot down.

Saw six figures on the cliff edge.

Jellal stayed behind them behind a rock wanting to keep his involvement a surprise, and beside him was Wendy with Carla.

"If they're as strong as Hibiki said I don't think I'll be much help ina fight" she stated

"No worry, I'll protect you if the need arise."

"Thanks, Jellal"

When the dark mist clear stood the six members of Oracion Seis.

Natsu and Ultear were quick to notice a look of reluctance on Sorano's face.

He quietly singled for her move with his hand by his leg.

She nodded before taking a step to the side.

"Angle a figure you would have taken a few of them out," Brain stated.

"The chance never came with flame prince around."

"Ow well, it just makes things more fun," Viper stated with a cruel smirk.

Hoteye went on his same speech about money only to be shut up by Viper and Racer.

Midnight was fast asleep on his magic carpet.

In a split, second Cobra and Gray plus Sebastian bolted toward Viper.

Cobra, with the help of his, exceeds, tackled Viper off the cliff with Gray using his ice to slide.

"DON'T WAIT UP FOR US!" he shouts.

Erza charged at Racer with her flight armor, eventually pushing him off the cliff with Ultear right behind her.

Members of the lamia scale took of Hoteye.

Using his earth magic, Jura left up a ground beneath there feet, sending them off to another direction.

Seeing how three of his guild member taken Brain didn't like the odd with the flame prince before him.

Using his staff, he midnight left in a flash of green magic, not realizing Angle left them.

When the green magic left Natsu. Happy Lucy and the tri-men were left.

Before long, Wendy and Jellal came out from hiding.

That was when Sarono came out of hiding before slowly approaching them.

Lucy and the tri-men were rightfully on guard.

"Relax she isn't a problem anymore" Natsu stated

"What makes you say that, Natsu?"

"If she wants to see her sister again, she won't harm us," he said with a grin, causing said mage to smile.

But it was lost when she locked eyes with jellal.

"Sorano waits, I'm not the same person from before," he shouts with his hand up.

"He right, you have nothing to fear" Natsu gave her a reassuring grin calming her down.

With Gray and Cobra

Viper was bussy fighting off two mages.

Just as she about to cast a spell, the other follows up with an attack.

"Is that the best a poison devil slayer can do" Cobra shouts with a crazed grin, hoping to get a proper fight.

This enraged the slayer. She quickly jumped back, making sure there was enough distance between them.

"Let's see how you this. POISON DEVIL RAGE" a massive stream of purple poison shoots out of her mouth racing toward Cobra.

The two fairy tail mages just grin at this.

Viper had a proud smirk on her face.

Without a moment of hesitation, Cobra opens his mouth wide open.

This shocked Viper as he ingested the poison with ease.

"Now, I got a fire in my belly."

"How?"

"He's fairy tails one and only poison dragon slayer and I'm there ice devil slayer," Gray taunts.

"Poison dragon roar," a dark red cloud of poison shoots out of his mouth racing toward Viper.

She quickly counters with her own breath attack.

"ICE DEVIL RAGE," a massive stream of purple ice and snow race toward Viper.

She dodges at the last second.

"POISON DEVIL RAZOR" hundreds of sharp blades made of poison fly toward Gray, who dodges them only too a tree get torn apart.

"This could be a problem," they thought in unison.

With Erza and Ultear

Erza was able to keep up with Racer to some degree but got kicked a few times.

Ultear was doing her best to pin Racer down with her lacrima.

But Racer was faster than either of them.

"Come on, I'm missing something," Ultear thought as she sent more lacrima.

Erza manages to block several of his attacks, but something was off about her foe.

Ultear looks to the side to see bird off in the distance "how could I be so stupid."

"Erza with me," Erza reluctant stood by her keeping an eye on Racer who stood there with a proud smirk.

"No matter what you do, you'll never be faster than me!"

"What is it, Ultear?"

"While you were busy fighting him, I looked off to seeing birds flying."

"What's your point?"

"He's not fast. He slowing our reaction, making us think he's fast."

"I see," they shared a smirk.

With Jura

Jura Lyon and sherry stood before hoteye with liquified earth magic.

"If I win, you all give me 100,000 jewels a peace."

"As if" using two hands, Lyon unleashed ice eagles on him.

Sherry uses her magic to turn the earth into dolls attack at him simultaneously.

With the flick of his finger, the earth wrapped around there spells, stopping them in there tracks.

He was so focused on the two spells he barely had time to counter Juras earth magic from crushing him.

When he stepped out to face the three again began to doubt his skills.

"If it was just Jura, this would be a problem, but those two could be a pain," an evil smirk formed on his face.

With the power of his magic, he sinks into the earth, putting the three wizards on high alert.

They check every direction even used there hand to feel any movement.

Nothing they felt nothing whatsoever.

Till it was too late in a fraction of a second, Lyon and sherry were pulled into the earth.

Jura was able to protect himself using his magic to prevent the Liquefication.

"Lyon sherry, are you two ok?" He sees the two pulled into the ground with only their heads sticking out.

"We're fine, just restrained, but we can't use our magic in this state.

What looks to be a whirlpool in the ground produced Hoteye slowly rising.

"Now that those two are felt with time to see who the stronger earth mage!"

With Gray and Cobra

Gray was using his ice to block those poison blades.

Cobra used his parlor trick to try to land some hits on his devil counterpart.

While he was fighting, Viper Gray was busy thinking up a plan to give them the edge to beat her.

Viper had a wicked grin on her face as she fender off Cobra attacks.

Unfortunately, with them being different tears of poison, she was at a disadvantage.

For the most part, his poison wasn't affecting her.

She knew, in time, he would win if she didn't turn the tables.

And it irked her that he was able to power up off her poison.

Gray finally came up with a plan he hoped would help.

Getting into his maker stance.

Combining the knowledge of his devil slayer and his maker magic, he decided to roll the dice.

"ICE DEVIL MAKE FERAL DEMON SPAWN!"

Appearing out of thin air, purple ice formed, taking the form Purple Ymir.

It turned to face him to see a stoic expression before pointing to the female.

It grinned before charging at her.

Seeing Gray create Cobra gives Viper a devastating left hook sensing her back a fairway.

She barely has any time to recover before dodging her attack left and right.

It attacks ruthlessly, not letting us in the slightest.

Viper manages to dodge one attack before charging up her next spell.

"POISON DEVIL STRIKE" her whole body took on a more demon appearance before slashing at the ice demon.

Her first strike failed, but her second manage to land a hit.

The ice creature was staggered for a moment before attacking her again.

Just as she managed to dodge an attack, she was dubbed teams by the two slayers.

Gray hit her hight and Cobra low, sending her flying only to hit a tree with a thud.

Knowing Cobra was immune to her poison that left Gray as her primary target.

If she can take care of him, she might be able to cause Cobra to lose focus long enough to take him out.

Jumping backward using the tree as a base to sprang toward Gray with a sinister smirk.

Gray was taken back at this, but before he could act, Viper strikes.

"POISON DEVIL CLOUD" the two devil slayers were engulfed in a purple cloud of poison.

"SHIT!" Cobra raged, going in to consume all their poison.

When the cloud disappeared, Viper stood proud over the weaken form on Gray.

Gray laid on the ground in pain as the devil poison did its work.

As a result, his ice-make creature fell apart.

The purple glow could be seen in patches across his body.

"And then there was one," she said with a cruel smirk.

The two slayers stared each other down.

In one moment, they changed at one each other trading blow for blow.

Cobra somehow manages to remember a conversation with Gray when he got his magic.

And from what he remembers, devil slayers element is weaker then dragon.

So he had to come up with a way to blast here with enough poison to finished her off.

But he has to be careful to not hit Gray.

With newfound drive, he charges at her ignoring her attacks before slamming his fist into her face sending her flying.

Not wanting to give her time to recover, he fights through the pain bolt towards her.

He grabs her by the neck with enough force to keep her mouth open before holding it open.

"POISON DRAGON ROAR!" he unleashes his spell point black.

He floods her system with his poison to the point she couldn't stand on her own.

She struggled to breathe from the poison in her system.

She shoots off one more glare before the afterlife claimed her.

He runs back to Gray, lifting him up.

"Sebastion!" his exceed comes out of hiding, not wanting to get cough in the crossfire.

"yeah ?"

"We need to get him back to Wendy!"

He didn't respond as he grabbed him by his back, flying back to the others.

With Erza and Ultear

"That just might work Ultear."

"I hope you're right, but be careful as I have no idea if I can keep it from attacking you."

"We won't know until you try."

"REQUIP!" a bright light enveloped Erza before disappearing, leaving her in her war god armor.

The crystal in her armor took the symbol of heavenly body magic.

"Ok, racer, let's see how fast you really are!"

With unmatched speed, Erza charged towards Racer.

Racer barely manages to dodge his attack.

Even with his magic, he was having trouble keeping up.

"I didn't think she would be this fast" he tried to go after Ultear only to be knocked back by Erza.

"Let's see how good your speed is to mine."

They traded blows back and forth.

"I hope this works, ICE MAKE FERAL ROSE GARDEN!"

She slammed her hand on the ground.

Suddenly crack form across there battlefield only for pink color ice rosed and vines shoot out.

Erza did her best to keep Racer busy before retreating.

Racer ignored though he won that was short-lived as the ice wrapped itself around his leg.

The ice vegetation grew so faster then he could break free.

In a matter of moments, the ice wrapped itself around him, crushing him slightly.

When always said and done, he likes a mummy unable to move and break free from the ice.

Erza walked up to him only to punch him in the face knocking him out cold.

Then Ur appeared before then "nice job Ultear," she said with a smile.

"Thank you, mother."

"Hill be out cold for a few hours, let get back to the group.

With Jura

The two earth mages were at a stalemate.

Each one counters the other.

"Is that the best you can do, Jura," he said with a smirk before something out of the corner of his eye.

He looks to see the other fairy tail wizard heading back.

"Damn, they were taken out. Well, it looks like we will have to finish this later" with those words, hoteye sinks into the earth.

Jura uses any spell he could to try to find him nut no luck.

"Damn, I lost him," he broke free Lyon and sherry before heading back to the others.

With brain

Brain was furious right now as two of the lock broke on him, leaving only four left.

"Damn, if we all lose the will be unleashed," he looks to midnight, still asleep.

Angles wasn't with him, so he still had some hope.

"Looks like I can put those lesser dark guilds to work by finding Nirvana."

With the others

Everyone who headed off to fight their respective mages had returned to the group.

They were put on edge when they saw Angle there.

"What's the meaning of this Natsu," Erza said sternly.

Angles threw her the photo from earlier.

The moment she saw the photo, she understood.

She handed it to the others to look for themselves.

After a few minutes, everyone more or less had an understanding.

"Wendy, I need your help. Gray took in some of Viper's poison," Cobra shouts, holding the down devil slayer.

She ran toward his knee on the ground, going to work.

After a few minutes, Gray was back on his feet, "thanks, Wendy."

"Your welcome, Gray," she said with a smile.

Then a slight breeze came over the forest, reaching the nose of the three slayers.

Cobra and Wendyies eye went wide.

"You smell it also" Natsu stated.

"Yes," they said in unison.

"What is it, Natsu?"

"We just cough the scent of who knows how many wizards scattered through the forest."

"Is it safe to assume their dark guild under the sies command?" Erza asked

"Looks like it, and they're probably looking high and low for Nirvana."

With a sigh, "looks like we're going dark mage hunting and hopefully will find Nirvana before they do."

"What are we waiting for let go" Cobra shout heading straight into the forest with a few others behind them.

The only ones left were Natsu, Ultear, and Jellal plus Happy.

"Jellal, do you know where it is?"

"Yes, I do, but if I go straight there, it could cause more problem their answers for me."

"We might as well take care of the dark mages first," he said before jumping off the cliff to the forest below.

"Is he always like this Ultear?"

"Yes, but he wouldn't be Natsu if he wasn't," he followed his example.

"Well, there's no going around it" he jumps down to meet up with the rest.

I ended up focusing on that fic for about two weeks and finished

I started it on April 28 and finished it on the 8th of may
