I am so sorry for the very long wait for this chapter, but it is here now. I figured for Christmas, I should update my long time stories that haven't been updated. Now I have something to say to two people.

Chapter 3: School Festival and a gathering of Legendary Heroes.

As the white moon shined in the night sky, the married couple was currently enjoying breakfast on the dining table with Ruri and Raiden joining, along with Grimdramon, Gatomon, GrimSalamon, DarkWindDramon, and DarkBlazDramon. Even Shadow and Ruri's mother and younger brother joined, including their partners Laylamon and Impmon were there.

Noctis had the same hair style as Shadow, only pure purple like his mother, pale skin, face shape the same as Varie, wearing a simple black shirt and black short pants with purple shoes. Ruri was wearing something else than what she wearied 2 days ago. She was wearing clothes that look identical from Velvet in Tales of Berseria. The only difference is the thing covering her breasts was purple. Raiden was wearing clothes like Dark Maul from Star Wars the Clone Wars.

Shadow has decided to wear a dark open zip jacket over a black shirt, black Long track pants that has chains on them and black shoes. Varie was wearing her normal dress, which looked like Sayo's outfit from Warriors All Stars, only pure purple and her hair lose. Kari was wearing a pink jacket over a light blue shirt, a pink skirt, long blue stockings and white high heels. Alleria wasn't there because she's off helping out the Tamers in their world.

"Hope you're ready to face the punishment Tai has in store for you". Ruri commented to the couple with a smile as she took a bit out of her sandwich, getting Shadow and Kari more nervous. Ruri got the day for the school festival wrong yesterday, so they had a day to prepare. Kari did some studies in the library to catch up and help her with her dream to be a Kindergarten teacher. Varie helped her daughter, having wanted to spend some time with her.

Ruri went off to sing on a concert in the Hunters world while Shadow and Raiden trained together with their Digimon joining as well, while the female Digimon took care of the younger Digimon. During this time, DarkWindDramon finally laid her egg, which was white and red. Shadow also took this as a chance to send some letters to some important people to help snap Tai out of whatever is bothering him.

"I hope it's not too bad". Shadow said with a nervous smile on his face, although he knows it would be a lot worse. "At least today is the school festival, right?" Raiden asked, as he was excited to have a chance to have fun at least for a day.

"Oh right. Today is the festival, where everyone can have a good time". Kari said as she remembered the festival, even though she's still worried about her brother finding out about the baby thanks to a certain Princess of Darkness. "You two will have to face him without fear and tell the truth''. Varie said to her son and daughter-in-law with a smile, getting a nod from them.

"I bet there will be food too!" DarkBlazDramon exclaimed with a smile on his hungry face, excited about the possibility as food. "That is if we don't get caught first". DarkWindDramon stated, holding her egg with Gatomon holding her own as well. "Then why not stick to the shadows or disguise ourselves to fit in, or go in the Fusion Loader until we get out?" Grimdramon suggested to his family, wanting to have fun as well.

"We'll figure it out." Gatomon said as she held her egg carefully, her daughter GrimSalamon eating next to her mother. "I wish I could go, but I got school''. Noctis said with a sad look that he can't go with his family with his partner. "There's always next time, sweetheart. For now, just have fun with your friends at school''. Varie said to her son as she rubbed his head with her left hand, getting Noctis to smile as her.

Soon after breakfast was done, everyone was outside, ready to go to the school festival and have fun. "Have a good time out there''. Varie said to her family as she, her partner, Noctis and Impmon waved goodbye to them, which they returned. "We will''. Shadow said to his mother with a smile, before him and everyone else walked through a darkness portal, which closed as they entered.

Soon, Shadow, Kari, Raiden, and Ruri, along with their Digimon in disguise, which was hoodie jackets, scarfs and glasses, arrived at the festival. "It's bigger than I thought". Ruri commented, as she looked up at the school, ready to have fun. "So many people." Raiden said as he noticed all the people gathering in the school as well. "At least everything is turning out alright so far." Kari said with a smile on her face to have a chance to have fun, holding hands with Shadow.

However, that moment will soon end with a certain older brother's voice. "SHADOW!" Tai's voice yelled out, causing some people to be startled at the noise. The married couple looked at each other, chuckling nervously until they spotted an angry Tai stomping towards them, wearing his school clothes without his jacket, more specifically at Shadow about a certain problem. Shadow sighed, knowing this was unavoidable truth from Tai as he, Kari, and the group decided to meet the boy first.

Reveals a Digivice on a desk, with Tai's goggles next to the device. Then kanji in a white background appeared. The screen changed to show a person's mouth, then 0 and 1 changing back fast. Lastly shows neon orange kanji being shown, then changes to an indigo background to reveal the title.

I'll become a happy butterfly, and ride on the glittering wind

The Digimon appear in the air, Agumon going first, and Grimdramon being shown last.

Then shows a picture of the Digidestined with their Digimon allies in the Digital World. The screen changes to show the older Digidestined, their names being shown with a shadow of their Digimon partners next to them. Tai and Agumon were shown first, and Shadow and Grimdramon were last. The last thing shown is Omnimon and Chaosduskdramon being shown in a hexagonal world background, ready for a fight.

After an endless dream, in this world of nothingness

Then shows only the older Digidestined in the blue sky with clouds, in school uniforms, with Tai going first, and Shadow being shown last.

Shows the original Digivice activating, before showing the Digimon in Champion forms in a grey hexagonal world. Greymon going first and Darkamethdramon last. Changes to briefly show Meicoomon as her eyes was flashing red, Meiko looking at somewhere in the blue, clouded sky, then shows Maki looking at her phone in her dark office before looking at the setting sun, Daigo looking somewhere, and some kind of black background before splitting to show light that fades into white. The last thing shown is Tai and Matt walking past each other, with Shadow in the middle of them, then shows just the blue, clouded sky.

All the Digidestined were in Mimi's cafe alone where no one could hear or see them. Inside, Tai was trying to attack Shadow, but Matt, Raiden and T.K were holding him back, with Shadow watching with his arms crossed. Kari was sitting down on one of the seats for the café with all the girls around her, asking many questions with Ruri next to her. (Everyone else is wearing what they wearied in Tri 2 Episode 4).

"Wait till I get my hands on you, you black haired lizard!'' Tai called out to Shadow, wishing to get the chance to pummel him, even though he knows that he'll be the one to get pummeled. "Tai! Calm down! You don't stand a chance against Shadow! He'll destroy you!'' Matt said to his best friend, trying to keep him from fighting a battle he can't win, even though he was surprised to hear that Kari got pregnant.

"Have you forgotten that Shadow is the Digidestined Hero, strongest Digidestined in the world, King of Darkness and chosen warrior of the Spirits of Darkness!?'' T.K questioned his leader, reminding him that Shadow was latterly more skilled and more dangerous than Tai. "In ways that a kid can understand, you're fucked if you fight Shadow!'' Raiden said to the leader of the Digidestined in this world.

With the girls, Kari was talking to everyone happily. "I still can't believe it, Kari!'' Mimi called out in delight, with her and Meiko wearing clothes they made together for the festival. "B-b-b-but wouldn't that mean you won't go to school and have to give up on your dream to care for the baby?'' Meiko asked in nervousness at hearing her friend being pregnant, thinking that it would become a problem. She had thought that if young people that got pregnant, that means they'll have to give up school and their dreams to care of the child

"I don't think that will be a problem. Shadow could take care of her with Ruri and Varie helping out. So it's safe to say that Kari will be fine with everyone helping her out''. Sora said to her new friend with a smile, knowing that Kari will still be able to live her dream with Shadow's family and everyone taking care of her.

Kari smiled at all her friends' faces. "You're really lucky to have friends like them, Kari. Most people would have abandoned a pregnant girl''. Ruri said to her sister-in-law, sitting across from Kari, having read about how people would abandon pregnant girls that were still in school.

Kari looked at Ruri and smiled at her. "Everyone here is more than friends to me Ruri. Everyone here is like family to me''. Kari said to her sister-in-law with a smile, getting a smile from the Princess of Darkness at what she said.

Kari looked a Meiko. "By the way, where's Meicoomon and the other Digimon?'' Kari asked Meiko, wondering where all the other Digimon are. Gatomon and the other Digimon went back into the Fusion Loaders, letting the humans' discus this peacefully and not get involved with Tai's rage, but will come out later to have fun in the festival.

"They're all back at Izzy's office, eating with Izzy keeping watch on them, so they'll be okay there''. Meiko replied to her friend, getting a nod from Kari. "Hey, hey, hey Kari? Did you know that Meiko and Tai are a couple now?'' Mimi suddenly asked the pregnant girl, getting Kari to look at friend in surprise.

Meiko blushed bright red at Mimi bringing that up. Mimi found out Tai and Meiko were a couple, having spotted them kissing in the hall when they thought no one was around, till Mimi and Sora came out, scaring the two.

"Huh?! Really?!'' Kari asked in amazement at how Tai and Meiko got together so fast in a short time. "What Mimi said is true? We even saw Tai and Meiko kiss when they tried to hide''. Sora said to Kari.

Kari looked at Sora with a shocked face, before she looked at Meiko with a bright smile. "Wow, that's great Meiko. Tai may be a little stubborn, but is a great person. Never let him go''. Kari said to Meiko with a bright smile, having liked her very much and trusted her with her brother.

Meiko still looked a little surprised, before she smiled at Kari and nodded her head. "Okay, I promise I will and always be there for Tai''. Meiko said to Kari with a smile, already knowing that she likes Tai more than a friend and wants to be with him. Meiko and Tai started spending time together after their make out in the hot springs and have gotten to know each other better.

Back with the boys, Tai was still trying to attack Shadow, who just watched with arms crossed. "You know something I don't get? I get Kari pregnant and that's fine for you to get angry. You hesitating and not fighting, I get angry and that's a problem''. Shadow said to Tai with narrowed eyes at how it was okay that he could get angry and not him. Tai quickly lost his angry look and looked away from Shadow, still struggling at what he should do and not do, making the King of Darkness sigh at his comrade.

"Shadow told me about what has happen and all I have to say is that you've gotten pathetic, Tai. It makes me can't believe that you're related to Kiran''. Raiden said to Tai with eyes narrowed, stepping next to Shadow and crossing his arms. Raiden respected Tai for his courage to face whatever comes his way, but seeing him like this has made Raiden lose his respect for him.

Tai looked at Raiden and glared at him. "Kiran has nothing to do with this, Raiden''. Tai said to Raiden with narrowed eyes at what he said. He knows that he doesn't have the power of Light like his little sister and older half brother, but he was still related to the King of Light.

"He may not now, but he will soon''. Shadow said with him, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, getting everyone to look at the King of Darkness in confusion at what he said, with only Ruri understanding what her brother means.

"What do you mean by that, Shadow?'' T.K asked his friend about the meaning of his words. "What I mean is that I sent a letter to Kiran to come here to have a friendly talk with Tai, along with brining a few of our friends over as well''. Shadow said to T.K, telling him what he means. Shadow got different reactions from everyone in the room.

Tai seemed scared that Kiran was coming while Kari seemed delighted, Sora and Mimi started blushing, Meiko was confused; T.K and Matt were smirking, knowing that the King of Light can knock some sense into Tai. "Shadow, I beg you, please tell Kiran to not come here?'' Tai begged Shadow, getting him, Raiden, Kari, Ruri and Matt to smirk at how Tai was panicking.

Tai respects his half brother, but was scared because of Kiran being stronger, braver then him and can be…hard to deal with.

"Too late, he's here''. Shadow said to Tai as he pointed at the door with his right hand's index finger just as it opened, getting everyone to turn to see a 22-year-old man standing there. He was a few inches taller than Tai, wearing an outfit like Raves from Final Fantasy 15, pure white hair that defied gravity, white skin, brown eyes. This is Kiran, Kari and Tai's older half brother, King of Light and Shadow's brother-in-law.

"Big brother!'' Kari called out in joy as she got up from her seat, before she went over and hugged Kiran happily, happy to see her brother again who returned the hug happily as well, having missed his baby half sister very much. Tai however, was shaking in fear, while the others were happy to see Kiran, while Meiko was still confused. "Haha, I missed you two, Kari!'' Kiran laughed out in happiness

Kari let go of the hug, allowing Kiran to say hello to everyone and had a handshake with Shadow. Then a flash came out of Kari's Fusion Loader that was in her pocket and revealed to be Gatomon and Grimsalamon. Not needing to say anything, Raven brought out his White Fusion, which glowed with a flash coming out to reveal a pure white Dragon that was the same size as Grimdramon, only looks different with white energy coming out of his wings. It's face shape was sharp, but was still fierce looking. It had three finger claws, three claws at the feet with two at the front and one at the back and a long tail.

"Uncle Lightdramon!'' GrimSalamon called out in happiness as she jumped into LightDramon's claws, who was happy to see his niece, before he gave Gatomon a hug. Kiran was now looking at Tai with a disappointed look in his eyes, who looked away from his half older brother.

"I'm disappointed in you Tai. You've lost your fire, but we're gonna fix that''. Kiran said to his half little brother, who looked confused at what his brother was saying about 'were'.

Than two new people walked into the room, with both being thirteen. One of them was a boy with light brown spiky hair that defied gravity, fair skin and light red eyes. He had yellow goggles on his head, wearing a dark blue jacket over a silver shirt, long black and red pants and red shoes. The other was a girl that had fair skin, purple eyes, ginger shoulder-length hair worn up in a ponytail held by a blue hair tie, but was slightly untamed. She was wearing a yellow jacket over a blue shirt with a heart on it that shows her stomach, long blue jeans and yellow shoes, with both of them just slightly smaller than Kari. Besides the two were a Renamon and Guilmon with a red egg in Renamon's arms.

"Takato! Rika! / Renamon! Guilmon!'' Kari and Gatomon cried out in happiness as they went to give the new arrivals a hug, which they returned with a smile. Even the Digimon hugged each other in greetings.

"Hey guys''. Takato greeted the group as he waved at them, which they returned with Rika going over to the girls. "How have you girls been doing? I see Shadow was right about a new girl''. Rika greeted the girls of the group, staring at Meiko. Rika then gave Shadow a quick hug, which he returned. Grimdramon came out of the Fusion Loader and gave Renamon a hug.

"And we didn't come alone''. Guilmon said to the group as he and his wife Renamon looked at the door as two more people entered the room. One of them was a boy of 14-years-old, having tan skin, brown hair, brown eyes, wearing a crimson jacket over a yellow shirt, black and red pants with flames on them, goggles on his head, a red hat and yellow gloves. The other person was a 14-year-old girl with long blond hair, green eyes and light skin. She was wearing a purple jacket over a blue shirt that showed her stomach, a purple skirt, long purple stockings and purple high heels and had a purple cap on her head.

"Thanks for coming, Takuya and Zoe''. Shadow thanked his two old friends, happy that Kiran could bring them here. "No problem, Shadow''. Takuya said to his old friend with a smile as he waved at the group, while Zoe and Kari had a happy hug with each other. "We wanted a chance to see everyone again and this was a perfecto chance and we brought some more friends''. Zoe said to the group as she went to the girls to have a girl talk, just as two more people entered the room.

One of them was a 22-year-old man that was quiet tall, has lightly tan skin, shoulder length auburn hair and olive green eyes. He was wearing a black open sleeveless jacket over a red shirt, black wristbands and black long pants, red shoes and a pendent around his neck. The other person was a 21-year-old woman that has light skin, long dark magenta hair that reaches her shoulder and dark pink eyes, wearing a hot pink-and-white half-sleeve jacket with two yellow upside down triangle marks on the chest, a short darker pink jumpsuit with a partially white collar underneath, a white belt with a light pink buckle, and high-heeled white boots.

Besides the two humans were an Agumon and Lalamon. This Agumon had red wristbands which was proof that he wasn't Tai's partner. The 22-year-old man charged at Shadow with his right fist out, but Shadow caught it easily with his left hand. "Still so strong and yet not much brain power, Marcus''. Shadow said with a smile to his old friend, revealing the man was Marcus and the woman was his wife Yoshi.

"Damn it! I almost got you''. Marcus said with a smirk as he stepped back from Shadow with a smile. "You'll get him next time, Marcus''. Yoshi said to her husband with a smile as she went over to the girls with Lalamon. "Yeah boss, someday you'll get him''. Agumon said to his partner with a smirk on his face, getting Marcus to smile at what his partner said, glad to have a great partner such as him.

Then Mikey and Nene stepped into the room. Mikey was wearing a red crimson shirt with the symbol of Fusion Fighters on it, long black pants with red shoes, red wrist pants and his goggles on. Nene was wearing a pink shirt, her hair tie that splits her front hair, hair in a pony tail, blue shorts, long pink socks and white high heels, with Shoutmon and Lunamon besides their human partners.

"Hey guys!'' Mikey greeted the group as he and his wife waved at the group, which they returned with a smile. "You're lucky that Ewan is babysitting Alice till we get home'''. Nene said to Shadow with a smile, having had Ewan babysit her daughter. "I know and thanks for coming on such short notice''. Shadow replied Nene with a smile, glad that they could come.

Finally two more people came in with one of them being a 16-year-old boy that amber eyes and brown hair with a red tuft with goggles on his head. He was wearing a blue and yellow shirt that was short sleeved, dark blue long pants, white shoes and red wristbands. The other human was a 16-year-old girl with blonde hair up in pigtails with curls near the ends. She wears pink bear hair clips in her pigtails. She has dark pink-red eyes, pink earrings, a pink shirt that reveals a little of her stomach, a pink shirt, pink long socks and pink high heels. Besides the two were a Gumdramon and an Opossummon.

"Tagiru. Airu. Thanks for coming''. Shadow said to the new arrivals, getting them to smile at him. "No problem. Besides it sounded urgent''. Tagiru said to his fellow Legendary Hero with a smile as Airu went to the girls.

"You called all the Legendary Heroes here. Nice work''. Matt said to Shadow with a smirk on his face, which Shadow nodded to him. "Yup and now if you excuse us, we need to talk with Tai''. Shadow said to Matt with a smile as Marcus grabbed Tai and started dragging him off with the rest of the Legendary Heroes following him. Shadow and Kiran followed after them as well, with their partner Digimon following as well.

"Well we can leave it to them now, and girls I want you to met a new friend''. Kari said to the group of Legendary Heroes' girlfriends and wives as she got up and put her hands on Meiko's shoulders from behind, getting her nervous as the girls looked at her.

"I-I-I'm Meiko…Mochizuki''. Meiko nervously introduced herself to the group of girls that were staring at her. "Nice to me you/ Hello/ You seem nice/ a pleasure/ hi''. Rika, Zoe, Yoshi, Nene and Airu said to Meiko with smiles on their faces, getting Meiko to relax a little.

(With Shadow and the others)

Tai landed on the ground on his back in pain with his left check red, having gotten punched by Marcus with his left arm stretched out. "You coward! Is this how you treat everyone now?!" Marcus exclaimed to his fellow hero, angry with Tai for his behavior. "I just don't want to see more destruction!" Tai argue back at the street fighter with a glare, being stubborn even more now, even if it's a close friend he's talking to.

Right now, all the Legendary Heroes, including their Digimon, along with Shadow and Grimdramon, and Tai's half-brother Kiran were having a big talk right now at the top of the school building so no one could see them. The subject of the matter: Tai Kamiya, and most of the heroes look disappointed right now at the first Legendary Hero.

"Is that what this is about?! Or are you just scared?!" Takuya asked in return, wondering what's gotten into Tai, having never thought he would see Tai like this. "They're right! This isn't like you to be scared, Tai!" Takato said to his fellow goggle wearing friend and fellow Legendary Hero, who inspired him to be like him.

"Look, I'm not having any issues, so butt out!" Tai retorted back to the Legendary Heroes with a glare, denying their claims of being scared to fight. "You can fool some people with that face." Tai's half brother said with his arms crossed as Tai looked at him, before he flinched to see his brother glaring at him.

"But you can't fool me for a second!" Kiran finished talking to his brother, feeling even more disappointed at Tai's behavior. "Yeah Tai! What's gotten into you?!" Mikey questioned with a frown, having liked Tai for his bravery against DeathReappermon.

"Usually you don't act like this when you're protecting your friends!" Tagiru said as well with steam coming from his nose, not believing that the 'superstar' Tai was acting like this. "That isn't just that! There are also other people that might have gotten injured during the attack as well!" Tai said to the group about his claim, making some shake their heads in disbelief and disappointment at how Tai is trying to avoid battling.

"Is that all? Then truly you have forgotten your purpose!" Tai's half brother said to his brother with disappointment as he shook his head at his younger brother. "I have not!" Tai denied back at his brother, being too stubborn.

"Tai, have you forgotten about Davis and the others?!" Shadow questioned his friend with his arms crossed and eyes narrowed, making everyone go silent and look down in shame. Hearing about Davis going missing caused some grief for the fellow heroes about the disappearance of their friend. Even Tai felt ashamed about mentioning Davis and the others.

Even all the Digimon felt grief about Veemon not being here as well, missing the times they all spent together. "Shadow has a point. What's the point of being scared?" Takato asked Tai in return, knowing that Davis would be disappointed at seeing Tai like this. "Is this how you will remember them?" Takuya asked Tai about how he'll remember Davis and the others.

"Is this how you will honor them?" Tai's half brother questioned his brother, frowning at him at how he is mocking Davis's sacrifice. "If so, then you're doing a poor job at it!" Marcus exclaimed to Tai, fist forming in frustration at how he won't fight to find Davis.

"They have a point. Do you think Davis and the others will be happy about how you're acting when they protected everything they loved and care for?" Mikey asked Tai, looking sad about remembering how Davis saved his life. "Will their sacrifice haunt you for the rest of your life? Will you continue running scared?" Tagiru asked Tai, remembering how Davis fought with honor and bravery.

"If this how you're going to act, then wake up and get your act together. There are people out there that need someone to protect them!" Shadow finished to his leader, making Tai go wide eye in realization about what everyone is saying. Tai then looked at his hands, which then formed into fists with his teeth granted. The others have a point: why act like a downer when there are friends that gave their lives up to keep the peace for people to live a happy life.

Tai then looked at everyone, before he smiled at them. "Thanks guys. I needed this talk." Tai replied back to everyone, making them smile at seeing the first Legendary Hero back to his old self. However suddenly, Tai punched Marcus to the ground as he got up, shocking everyone at his actions. "What was that for?!" Marcus demanded, a hand holding his face.

"That was for that punch you gave me!" Tai replied with a smirk on his face, making everyone realize that Tai is having payback in a playful way. "Oh yeah?!" Marcus said as he got up to punch Tai, only for him to dodge, which the street fight punched Mikey instead, making everyone widen their eyes.

"Hey! What's the big idea?!" Mikey exclaimed in anger at Marcus for punching him. "I was aiming for Tai, not you!" Marcus replied back in anger at Mikey. After that, everyone tried to break up to argument, only to turn into a brawl, a cloud forming and fists flying. Even the Digimon partners joined in on the fight, with all of them laughing and having fun like a family. Shadow was also part of the fight, but was smiling sadly at how Davis wasn't here to enjoy this. 'I wish Davis was here with us, along with the others'. Shadow thought to himself in sadness, missing his old friend very much.

(Back with the girls)

In Mimi's café, all the Legendary Heroes' girls were talking with their partner Digimon with them while everyone went out to get ready for the festival. "Wow Nene, you've really given birth just last week?'' Mimi asked idol in amazement after hearing about Nene's daughter.

"Yeah and let me tell you, it was really painful''. Nene said to Mimi with a smile, having been in pain when she gave birth, making Kari look down at her stomach, worried for when she'll give birth. "Thanks for the warning, now I'll have to prepared for when I'm giving birth''. Yoshi said to the group with her eyes closed and hands on her stomach, making them all look at her.

"You're pregnant? Congratulations!'' Zoe congratulated Yoshi with a smile, glad to hear that her friend was gonna have a child soon. "How long?'' Ruri asked Yoshi as she was leaning against the wall with her right hand on her stomach, thinking that she and Yoshi's child could be born at the same time. "3 months''. Yoshi said to the Princess of Darkness, making Ruri sigh in disappointment.

"Anyway, the letter that Kiran sent to us said that you and Kari were pregnant as well. Right?''. Rika questioned, getting everyone's attention as they looked at Kari and Ruri, with the child of Light looking nervous. "Yeah, it's true''. Kari said to the girls with a nervous smile, getting everyone excited.

With the Girl Digimon, Lunamon, Lalamon and Oposssummon were surrounding Renamon, DarkWindDramon and Gatomon, who held their eggs in their arms. "Wow! I can't wait for those Digi-Eggs to hatch!'' Opossummon stated in excitement as she flew around the girls, really excited for the Digi-Eggs to hatch. "Seeing you guys with your children's Digi-Eggs make me wish I was pregnant''. Lunamon said to herself, wishing she was pregnant to make Shoutmon happy.

"You just need to be patient, Lunamon. You'll have a child soon someday''. Renamon said to the Digimon Queen as she held her Digi-Egg in her arms carefully. "And who knows. Maybe you'll have a child, Lalamon''. DarkWindDramon said to her friend with a smile, making Lalamon blush. "It's so nice to have a get-together''. Gatomon said to the group with a smile, glad to have some time with her best friends.

Back with the girls, Mimi had something for Kari. "Kari! Look!'' Mimi called out to Kari with a smile, getting everyone to look at her to see that she was holding up another copy of her outfit that was in a size for Kari.

"Whose that for?'' Kari asked in confusion for who will wear that outfit. "It's for you''. Mimi replied to Kari with a smile, getting her to widen her eyes as her checks turned bright red. "B-B-B-But I'm pregnant. That means I can't do things like that''. Kari replied to Mimi with her checks red, hoping to get out of whatever Mimi is planning.

"You're just recently pregnant. That means you can still do these kind of things''. Mimi said to Kari, using her counter and making her sigh. "Meiko! Would you mind taking Kari to go get changed?'' Mimi asked her new friend, getting Meiko to blush.

"O-Okay''. Meiko said to Mimi as she pulled Kari from her seat and started taking her to the change room to get ready. "Alright! You guys need to leave the café now because we're opening soon''. Mimi told the group, getting them to understand as they left the room with their partner Digimon doing the same as them.

(With Shadow)

After the little brawl that the Legendary Heroes had, they all decided to go back to the café to get their girls with all of them laughing at their playful fight. "Still guys, thanks for the talk''. Tai said to his friends with a bright smile, glad that they snapped him out of it. "No problem, Tai''. Mikey said to his comrade with a smile, glad to help out his friend. "After all, helping people is what Mikey does best''. Shoutmon remarked with a smile, glad that Mikey helped the Legendary Hero.

"Yeah and because of that, we all got a chance to have fun again after so long''. Takato said to the group happily, happy to spend time with the people he considers family. "Takatomon is right, family back together again''. Guilmon said in agreement to what his partner said.

"Well, not all of us''. Takuya said to the group with a sad look as he thought about Davis, getting the group to lose their smiles, missing Davis very much. "How did this even happen? How did Davis disappear?'' Tagiru questioned with sadness in his eyes, missing Davis very much. "And Veemon. What happened to him?'' Gumdramon added, missing the blue Dragon Digimon.

"I don't know, but they have to be alive and I'm gonna properly introduce whoever caused this to my fist!'' Marcus said in anger, wanting to punch whoever took Davis and Veemon. "Yeah! What boss said!'' Marcus's Agumon said in agreement to what his partner said, wanting to punch the cause of Davis and Veemon's disappearance.

"We'll get our chance for that, but we first have to find Davis and the others, along with making a cure for infected Digimon''. Kiran said to the group with narrowed eyes, keeping calm during this conversation. "And then we can beat the shit out of whoever kidnapped them''. LightDramon continued off for his partner, wanting to destroy something.

"We'll have our chance soon, but for today, let's just have fun''. Shadow said to the group, getting a nod from everyone in agreement.

"Oh yeah! Shadow, I brought all your other Digimon with me. Here!" Mikey said to the King of Darkness with a smile as he held his red Fusion Loader out in his right hand, getting Shadow to smile as he raised his right hand that had his Fusion Loader. Flashes came out and into Shadow's Fusion Loader, getting Shadow to smile as he looked at his Fusion Loader.

"Team Twilight Union is together again''. Grimdramon said with a bright smile on his face, glad to have the team together again. "Well we gotta find our girls now. They must be all over the place''. Takuya said to the group with a smile, getting everyone to nod as they went in different directions to find their girls, while Shadow and Grimdramon kept walking to the café.

(With Kari)

At Mimi's Cafe called Daters Tsukishima for the Festival, Mimi, Meiko, and Kari, along with other girls were preparing for opening time. "I-I can't do it..." Meiko stuttered nervously, shaking in embarrassment as she tried to hide under a table.

"Meiko's right. I can't do this ether. I'd rather fight Myotismon again''. Kari said in agreement as she was hiding next to Meiko in her orange uniform that the three girls were wearing together right now. "What are you two saying? You want to make everyone happy right?" Mimi asked the two as she dragged both Meiko and Kari out from under the table.

"Opening time!" A girl exclaimed as she opened the doors for people to enter the room. The room is decorated just for this event, for everyone to enjoy. "Good morning!" Mimi, Kari, and the girls, except Meiko, greeted warmly to the people.

Soon, everyone entered the room and started to enjoy themselves. "C'mon, you say it too!" Mimi encourages Meiko as she brought her up, who is still embarrassed. "Good m... achoo!" Meiko started to say, before she sneezes in front of every boy. The boys sweat dropped, unsure on how to react to Meiko. "What a cool greeting!" Mimi said to Meiko with her eyes closed happily, laughing a bit to cheer Meiko up.

"I said I can't do this!" Meiko said to Mimi with her eyes shut, hands over her mouth in embarrassment. "You'll be fine! Good morning!" Mimi reassures the shy girl as she dragged her off to meet more people, getting a small smile from Meiko.

Kari, on the other hand, was getting various love struck looks from the many boys with heart shape eyes, drooling at her beauty. "Kari you're so beautiful! / She looks cute in that uniform! / How about we get to know each other, baby? / Have you ever thought about going out with me?" All the boys asked with love struck looks, wanting to hold Kari too close, making her feel nervous at the stares as she tried to back away.

However, all the boys and Kari felt someone staring at them, getting to look to see a frowning and growling Shadow at the door, who did not like seeing the boys trying to get close to his wife. Ruri was right next to her brother, looking calm at the situation.

All the boys chuckled nervously at Shadow, while Kari sighed in relief. "Do you mind?" Shadow asked dangerously to the boys as he could feel his dragon sense roaring in rage as he cracked his knuckles. 'I swear, if they ever look at Kari like that again... I'll rip them apart!' Shadow thought to himself in anger, promising them a world of pain.

All the boys then backed off away from Kari, not wanting to suffer Shadow's wrath at the moment. Once they did, Shadow calmed down as he took a breath before he looked at his wife, who smiled at him.

"I'm happy that you could join us here, Shadow." Kari said happily to her husband, winking at Shadow, making him blush. This got some depress looks from other boys seeing the interaction, and mentally cursing Shadow. "I wouldn't miss it for the world." Shadow replied back to his wife with a smile. "You look good in that outfit by the way, Kari." Ruri said to her sister-in-law, liking the design.

"Thanks." Kari replied back to Ruri with a smile. The two siblings went and got themselves a seat on one of the tables. Ruri also got some fan boys as well, with Shadow frowning upon seeing them. The King of Darkness started cracking his neck, getting the boys to back off.

Much later, Daigo and Himekawa entered the cafe, getting the attention of Shadow and Ruri. "Hi, is there room for two of us?" Daigo asked warmly, holding up two fingers. "Hello! Table for two!" Mimi called out, with Meiko serving the two. This got surprised reactions from Daigo and Himekawa, seeing Meiko like this for the first time. "I... I'll lead y... you two your seats." Meiko stuttered nervously.

This got Himekawa to laugh a bit, getting Meiko to panic. "I... I'm sorry!" Meiko said in a panic at Himekawa laughing. "But her bashful style is actually getting her lots of fans!" Mimi cheered as she held Meiko close with a smile. "S-Stop it!" Meiko stuttered in embarrassment at the younger girl. "I mean, look at Kari! She's getting quite popular with the boys!" Mimi said as she glanced at Kari, who is serving others at the moment with the boys still looking at her with heart shape eyes. Daigo and Himekawa also saw this as well and were surprised to see Kari here of all places.

However, they then spotted Shadow and Ruri seating down on a table, getting even more surprised. Soon, the two were seated next to Shadow and Ruri, surprising the Darkness siblings at the agents here before them. Himewaka and Kari were having a good conversation, enjoying each other's company with Kari serving them. Himekawa questioned Meiko about Meicoomon and the Digimon about their location right now.

"Daigo, can I ask you something?" Shadow asked the agent and schoolteacher, getting Daigo's attention. "Sure, what do you need?" Daigo asked in wonder at what Shadow wants to say. "How…do you be a parent?" Shadow asked the agent if he knows something about being a parent, getting Daigo to look shocked at the boy's question.

"Why would you ask that of all things?" Daigo asked the King of Darkness, not expecting to hear this from the boy. "I... may have got Kari pregnant". Shadow admitted with a nervous look, surprising Daigo even further. Out of all things, Daigo did not expect Shadow to have a child at this age with Kari.

"Does Tai know about this?" Daigo asked the King if Tai knows, getting a nod from Shadow in return. "Well, congratulations. I'm not that experience, but my advice to you is to make sure the child is safe and happy." Daigo answered the Darkness user, getting a smile from Shadow.

Suddenly, music started to play, getting the attention of everyone in the room. "It's started!" Meiko said in embarrassment at what she has to do next. "Well its finally time, huh?" Kari asked with a little nervous and panicked look on her face. "Started? /What has?" Himekawa and Daigo questioned in confusion at what is happening.

"Even I want to know what the hell is going on." Shadow stated, confused at why Kari looks nervous. "Guess we're just gonna have to find out." Ruri said to her brother, finding this interesting. "C'mon girls, Showtime!" Mimi cheered as she dragged the girls on stage. "I... I can't! I told you, I can't!" Meiko said in embarrassment at what she needs to do.

"I'm brave enough to fight the God of Death, killer clowns, an evil angel of light and Darkness, a thousand solders, an evil vampire and even a giant sea monster of pure evil, but I'm too embarrassed to do this!" Kari said to Mimi, eyes closed in embarrassment with her checks red.

"No chance! Besides, Shadow is watching, Kari!" Mimi stated to the two, getting Kari to go with it for her husband. Soon, the three girls brought pompoms out, and then started to dance like cheerleaders in front of everyone. Also, watching secretly from the doorway, Tai was eyeing Meiko secretly, finding her in her uniform cute in his eyes the entire time?

Everyone watching the performance started to clap, liking what they are seeing. Shadow, on the other hand, was watching Kari with a small-embarrassed blush on his face. Ruri, seeing her brother's expression, smiled a bit; glad to see him enjoy his wife dance for the audience.

Everyone started commenting on the dance in a positive way, along with Daigo and Himekawa enjoying this performance. After the dance, everyone clapped especially Shadow and Ruri, liking it very much. Even Tai enjoyed watching Meiko dance as well in secret, before he went off to get ready for soccer.

"Himekawa, can we talk outside?" Kari asked the older woman, getting Himekawa to look at her. Himekawa nodded her head as she got up and left with Kari, leaving just Daigo, Shadow, Ruri, Mimi, and Meiko in the other room.

(With Kari)

Kari and Himekawa were outside of the café, wanting it to be a short chat. "Well, what is it you need to talk to me about?'' Himekawa asked the Digidestined of Light, wanting to know why Kari wants to talk to her. Kari gained a nervous look on her face, thinking about telling Himekawa her pregnancy.

"Well…I wanted to ask you what you would have done if…you were pregnant with Ryo's child''. Kari asked the agent, making Himekawa widen her eyes in shock as she took a step back. Out of all the things Himekawa was expecting, this was not one of them. "W-W-Why would you ask that!?'' Himekawa questioned Kari with her checks red at the thought of her being pregnant with Ryo's child.

"Well, it's because I'm pregnant with Shadow's child''. Kari replied to the agent as she revealed she was pregnant with Shadow's child, making Himekawa widen her eyes even more in shock. Himekawa couldn't believe that Kari was pregnant with Shadow's child, making her feel a little jealous that Kari got pregnant with her boy and she didn't.

"Well, I would do everything I could for my child and make sure that nothing happens to it. I advise you to do the same and be happy when it's born''. Himekawa said to Kari, telling her what she would have done if she were pregnant with Ryo's child, getting a nod from Kari. "Thanks''. Kari said to the agent, getting a smile from Himekawa.

Kari and Himekawa went back into the café once they ended their conversation. "Welcome back." Shadow, Daigo, and Ruri greeted the two women back inside, still sitting at the table. "Everyone! Izzy is coming over!" Mimi called out to her friends with her phone in her hand, getting the attention of everyone that knew about Digimon.

This brought great news to everyone, thanks to Himekawa, who took a picture earlier during the dance. Himewaka soon left the others, followed by Kari and Shadow, who stand outside the doorway. The couple started making out a little with Shadow trapping Kari between the wall and himself, before they separating with a smile.

"Ready for the upcoming event?" Kari asked her husband, smiling with her checks red. "I was born ready, but I still don't get why Matt asked me to play with his band as well." Shadow replied to his wife, surprised about Matt's offer to play with them. "Who knows why. Just do your best''. Kari encouraged her husband, who nodded with a smirk. "While we're at it, let's let our partners enjoy themselves as well in the festival?" Shadow said to Kari, bringing out Fusion Loader in his right hand.

"You're right. It would be very rude of us to keep them cooped in all day." Kari stated to Shadow, also bringing her Fusion Loader out in her left hand. With the couple in agreement, both of them let out their partners, but in a secret area where they can't be spotted, who enjoyed a little family time.

After that, Shadow started walking to meet up with Matt's band group, preparing for the festival concert for the audience, while Kari went back to the café to watch from the window.

They were not the only couple having a good time: even the other heroes with their lovers were doing the same thing as well in different activities. Takato and Rika were walking around the festival, hand in hand.

"Isn't this a nice date, Rika?" Takato asked his girlfriend as they enjoy themselves. "You can say that again, Gogglehead." Rika said to Takato, smiling a bit as well, with both their partners watching from the roof. Takuya and Zoe were in an empty classroom, making out with each other and were getting a little out of hand.

"Are you sure we should be in here? What happens if someone sees us?" Takuya asked his girlfriend, only to get a giggle from her. "What's the matter, you scared that I might win?" Zoe asked back to Takuya with a smile as she was lying down on a table, getting Takuya to grin. "Sorry, but I just don't like to lose." Takuya replied to Zoe with a smirk, before two engaged each other again in their make out, without a care in the world, before moans and groans were heard from the classroom.

Marcus and Yoshi were also having a good time in the festival, until Marcus got into trouble with some students. "Is there anything else you like to say behind my back, you punks?!" Marcus questioned angrily to the knocked out students in front of him, tick marks forming on head. "This is the worse." Yoshi said to herself, sighing to herself, shaking her head at her husband's usual behavior.

Mikey and Nene were also there in the festival, enjoying their cotton candies and feeding each other happily, not caring that some boys are looking at Nene with heart shape eyes. Tagiru was doing a basketball game as well, with Airu watching him play. All and all, everyone was having a goodtime with each other at the Festival. Soon, Shadow arrived at the stage to join up with Matt's band, ready to face the music.

Upon seeing Shadow, the audience watching went into cheers at seeing the famous singer. Shadow and Matt's band huddled up to discuss what song they should sing, with Shadow getting the pick with all of them picking a good old favorite of theirs.

Soon they were in position with Shadow having a black guitar and a microphone in front of him. "You guys ready! I can't hear you!'' Shadow called out to the audience as they cheered for him and Matt's band, getting the King of Darkness to smile as he and Matt's band started to play.

Shadow and Matt's band sang, while playing the music items very well, getting loud cheers from the audience as they finished, loving them for the song and how big of an impact it has on people. All the girls were looking at Shadow with heart shape eyes, falling for the King of Darkness. In the audience, Marcus, Yoshi, Takato, Rika, Mikey and Nene watched the King of Darkness sing with T.K besides them, with all of them enjoying the music. "Damn, he's good''. Marcus said in amazement as he crossed his arms with a smile. "Shadow's gotten better in the last 3 years''. Yoshi said in agreement to what her husband said.

"My big brother is getting better in many ways. I bet Matt invited him to join because he wasn't as good as Shadow''. Rika said to her friends as she wrapped her arms around Takato's left hand, making him blush. "Rika''. Takato said to his girlfriend with his checks red at Rika's actions.

Nene then turned her head to look at T.K. "What's your brother's band name?'' Nene asked her friend for his brother's band name, getting T.K to look at her with his teeth shining for a second. "World of the Knife''. T.K said to Nene with a smile, getting everyone to look at him at hearing the name, while Marcus was laughing.

At the window at the school next to Mimi's café, Kari was watching through the window with her checks red at hearing Shadow's singing. She could feel and hear her heart beat rapidly as Shadow looked so handsome and how his voice sounds amazing as he sings, one of the things she loves about Shadow.

"He's wonderful, isn't he sweetheart''. Kari asked her unborn child as she looked down at her stomach, knowing that Shadow will be their child's role model.

In another part of the school festival, Ruri and Raiden were walking together with the Princess of Darkness having her arms around her boyfriend's right arm. "Isn't this just lovely? We have time for each other without worrying about royalty stuff and just be together without worry''. Ruri said to her boyfriend with a smile, happy that she and Raiden could have time together without worry.

"Ha, you got that right. Days of just having fun with friends and just really acting your age are just the best''. Raiden said to his girlfriend with a smile, always enjoying his time with his friends and true love, making Ruri smile with her eyes closed.

However, the Crimson Dragon and White Dragon of Darkness saw a pore excuse of a disguise Leomon at the entrance, with the Digidestined's partners on him, hanging on tight. "You cannot be serious?'' Raiden questioned with wide eyes at what he was seeing, getting Ruri to giggle. "Trust me; I wish I was. Ruri replied, as all the Digimon ran away from Leomon, making them both sigh as they walked towards Leomon.

"Care to explain on what the hell you were thinking Leomon?'' Raiden asked his comrade that fought by his side in the war against DeathReappermon, getting Leomon to turn to see the Princess of Darkness and Crimson Dragon of Darkness. "Well…'' Leomon started with a nervous look on his face, as Ruri cracked her knuckles and Raiden cracking his neck.

(Later on with everyone else)

Everyone from the different worlds were now gathering around in the outside area next to a creepy cute contest, having been told by Raiden and Ruri that the Digimon were here, getting everyone to quickly head there to get them.

"Ruri! Are the Digimon really here?'' Mimi asked the Princess if the Digidestined's Digimon were really here. Ruri was about to answer, when they heard a voice declaring the winner of the creepy cute contest. "And the winner of the creepy cute contest is…Meicomon!'' The announcer announced, making Meiko look surprise while Matt was mad that Gabumon wasn't the winner.

Meicomon was given a gold medal, making her look at it in amazement before she looked at the crowd with a cute look, saying she was happy. "So cute!'' The audience cried with eyes closed with blushes from seeing Meicomon's cuteness, while the others were not affected.

Soon everyone was at the roof with their Digimon where Mimi was giving Palmon a lecture, while Meiko hugged her partner happily. The other Digimon were greeting the other Digimon with smiles with Tai's Agumon getting along with Marcus's Agumon. "Seriously, what were you guys thinking?'' Renamon asked the Digidestined Digimon as she leaned against the wall with her Digi-Egg in her arms.

"We wanted to come and it was unfair that Gatomon and Grimdramon could have all the fun''. Biyomon said to the fox Digimon, having been upset that Gatomon and Grimdramon could have the fun, getting everyone to roll their eyes. "Gomamon!'' Everyone heard Joe's voice, getting them to turn to see Joe, who was breathing hard and looking at Gomamon.

Gomamon was about to say something when Marcus went up to Joe and grabbed the front of his shirt, glaring at Joe and making him sweet in fear. "You got some nerve to come here, running away from fights when your friends needed you''. Marcus said to the doctor in training with a glare, getting Joe to sweat more in fear at the street fighter.

"Let him go, Marcus''. Everyone heard Shadow's voice, getting them to turn to see Shadow, Kari, Gatomon, Grimdramon and GrimSalamon walking towards them with Kari still in her café clothes. Gatomon was holding her Digi-Egg while GrimDramon held their daughter.

"Joe can make his own decisions and we can't force him to do something he doesn't want to do. Let him go''. Shadow said to the street fighter with a calm look, knowing that they all should respect Joe's wishes, getting Marcus to growl before he let Joe go, who went to Gomamon and talked with him in private.

"Where have you guys been?'' Tai asked the Darkness user and his sister. "Just walking around''. Kari replied to her brother, avoiding eye contact. "Anyway, the festival is still on, but now we just have to keep our eyes on the Digimon''. Shadow said to the group with his arms crossed, getting everyone to nod as they all leave the roof to continue to have fun.

Soon Shadow was looking outside through a window at the festival, thinking of his friends that went missing. "You're thinking of Davis and the others, right?'' T.K questioned, getting Shadow to turn to see his friend behind him, who looked as sad as him. "Yeah''. Shadow replied to his friend as he went back to looking outside with T.K joining him.

"I miss them too, Shadow''. T.K said to his old friend, missing the friends he made 3 years ago and the adventures they had. "After the festival, we're going to search for them''. Shadow told his old friend with narrowed eyes, getting a nod from T.K.

Meanwhile back in Mimi's café, Kari, Mimi and Meiko were giving out orders to the customers and their partner Digimon were hiding in secret. However, Kari just saw Joe leave the school in a hurry, getting her worried.

"Mimi, I'll be back soon. I have to take care of something''. Kari said to Mimi before she left the café to catch up with Joe. It didn't take long with Joe stopping just outside the school. "Joe!'' Kari called out to the oldest member of the Digidestined with Joe not turning to look at her. "Joe, just what's wrong? Why are you running?'' Kari questioned the doctor in training, wanting to know why he won't fight.

"I have to study!'' Joe shouted out at Kari without looking at her, making Kari flinch at Joe's outburst. Kari then narrowed her eyes as she looked at Joe. "Joe…I'm pregnant''. Kari said to the doctor in training, making him widen his eyes as he turned to look at Kari with pure shock in his eyes. "Like you, everyone has a responsibility, but our responsibility as the Digidestined…no as humans is to protect those that can't protect themselves. I'm pregnant and yet, I still wish to fight. Besides if you want a reason to fight, fight to help us save our friends like Cody''. Kari said to the doctor in training with a serious tone, making Joe look down at the ground at the mention of Cody.

"Cody…''. Joe said in sadness at remembering the young boy that inherited his crest and how he was missing now. "Fight with us to save our friends and protect the peace that Zeref risked his life to give us''. Kari told to the doctor in training with her eyes narrowed, getting Joe to struggle at what he should do. However, Kari suddenly sensed something in an area of the school, getting her to look behind her with narrowed eyes. "I sense something…evil''. Kari said to herself with narrowed eyes, before she grew white angel wings on her back and took to the skies, leaving Joe alone.

Kari took high into the sky so that nobody would see her, before she was covered in white energy. The energy then disappeared to reveal Kari in her outfit that she was wearing before, with her holding her D-Tector in her left hand. "Time to wake up you two, we got work to do''. Kari said to her D-tector with narrowed eyes, which the screen turned on. "We're right behind you, Kari''. A voice was heard from inside the D-tector, getting Kari to smirk as she went to where she sensed that presence.

Meanwhile with Shadow, he was with his fellow Legendary heroes are at the top of a building with their Digimon partners with them, before both he and Kiran suddenly widen their eyes as they felt a presence, which everyone noticed. "Kiran, did you sense that?'' Shadow asked his brother-in-law if he sensed what he sensed, getting a nod from Kiran.

"Yeah''. Kiran replied to Shadow with narrowed eyes, getting everyone curious. "Sense what?'' Mikey questioned the two kings on what they sensed, getting Shadow to look at him.

"I think we have a uninvited visitor, and I think it's the person responsible for what happened to Davis and the others''. Shadow said to all the legendary heroes, getting them all to widen their eyes. "Well? What are we waiting for?! Let's teach this guy a lesson for messing with our friends!'' Marcus called out with wide eyes as he held up a fist, getting everyone to nod as they all went out to find the cause of the presence and to hopefully find their lost friends.

Soon the Legendary Heroes made it to the back of the school with their Digimon partners with them, only for their eyes to widen in shock at what they saw. There, standing in the flower field, was Ken! Only he was wearing clothes that look like his Digimon Emperor clothes and was holding a crying Meicoomon in his arms with a distortion behind him. "Ken!'' All the Legendary Heroes called out in surprise to see the Boy-genies, while Shadow had his eyes narrowed.

"That's not Ken!'' Shadow cried out, sensing that this person was not his old friend, getting everyone to look at him. "Meicoomon!'' The Legendary Heroes heard Meiko's voice, getting them to look behind them to see Meiko and Mimi came out of the school, still wearing their clothes for the festival. Kari then landed next to Shadow, having flew to this area and looked at Ken.

However, Leomon appeared, landing in front of the Digidestined of different worlds, getting everyone to look at him. "Let Meicoomon go!'' Leomon shouted out at Ken in rage, who just smirked at him as he turned around and began walking into the distortion. "Wait!'' Leomon called out as he was about to give chase, before he stopped and knelt on the ground with his arms on his head as a purple aura started to surround him.

"Leomon!'' Tai called out in concern for his old friend, as Ken entered the Distortion. "He's getting away!'' Shadow called out as he gave chase and went into the distortion with Marcus, Data Squad Agumon, Takuya, Takato, Guilmon, Kari, Gatomon and Grimdramon going after him as they all entered the distortion. "Wait for me!'' Palmon called out as she went into the Distortion as well.

Leomon then got up as the aura around him disappeared, before he ran into the distortion as well, with Gommamon suddenly appearing out of nowhere and went into the distortion as well. "Kari! / Everyone!'' Tai and Mimi called out in concern at seeing their friends enter the Distortion as well. "Everyone!'' Ruri's voice was heard, getting everyone to look to see the rest of their friends running towards them.

"Ken just took Meicoomon!'' Mimi called out to her friends in concern, getting everyone to stare at her in shock, while Daigo and Himikawa also came up to them. The male agent looked surprised while Himikawa smirked.

(Inside the distortion)

The Legendary Heroes, Digimon, King of Light and Princess of light were standing on the ground in the distortion, looking up at the floating 'Ken', who still had Meicoomon in his arms, giving them all a smirk. "Who are you? And what have you done with our friends!?'' Macus shouted out in rage at 'Ken', knowing that this isn't his friend, who just stayed silent. "You better answer the boss!'' Marus's Agumon called out in rage.

Ken still stayed silent while smirking, which angered the Legendary Heroes, Digimon and Digidestined. "If you won't talk, we'll beat it out of you!'' Marcus called out as he started to charge towards Ken, only for him to jump back as something appeared out of nowhere. Everyone looked at what is protecting Ken, only for their eyes to widen at what they saw.

They saw…Imperialdramon, Valkyrimon and SlashAngemon!

Only all the Mega Digimon were dark and purple versions of themselves, with Imperialdramon in Dragon mode and all their eyes were white. "It's Veemon and the others!'' Grimdramon called out in shock at his friends' sudden appearance out of nowhere. "Are we even sure that these guys are Veemon and the others!?'' Takuya questioned out with widen eyes at seeing these Digimon.

"It has to be! Only Veemon and Wormmon can Digivole to Imperialdramon, while Hawkmon and Armadillomon can become Valkyrimon and SlashAngemon!'' Gatomon replied to Shoutmon, recognizing her friends in an instant. "What have they done to you guys?!'' Guilmon called out in concern for his friends, who didn't respond.

Imperialdramon unleashed his 'Mega Death' attack at the group, making Kari act fast. She held her hands out as a white force field appeared around her and her friends, which blocked the Mega Death attack and caused an explosion. The three infected Digimon waited for the smoke to clear, only for three blasts to come out and strike them all.

ShineGreymon, Gallantmon and AncientGreymon came out of the smoke and tackled the Infected Digimon. The smoke then disappeared to reveal Duskmon, Aquatimon, Shroudryumon, Palmon, Gommamon, Marcus and Ophanimon. "Remember! Contain only, not destroy! They're still our friends!'' Duskmon called out to his fighting comrades, telling them to not destroy them.

"Got it!'' All three Digimon replied to Duskmon as AncientGreymon bit on SlashAngemon's blades, before throwing him away. ShineGreymon got Valkyrimon in a gridlock and Gallantmon slammed his shield into Imperialdramon, smashing him into the ground. "Hydro Water Blast!'' Aquatimon called out as she held her hands out as they glowed blue, before water came out, flooding the field.

The water went and wrapped around the down Dragon, restraining him with the infected Dragon roaring. "Way to go, guys!'' A familiar voice called out, getting Duskmon to look to see a distortion, showing everyone gathered around Izzy, who was holding his laptop. "This should keep Imperialdramon for a while!'' Aquatimon called out as she held her hands out, which are still glowing blue with water coming out of them.

A purple blast came out of nowhere and hit the Warrior of Water in the stomach, making her cry out as she was pushed back. "You okay!'' Duskmon called out in concern for his wife, which Aquatimon nodded with a weak smile as she held her stomach with her hands. "I'm okay, but…something feels really wrong''. Aquatimon groaned out as she closed her eyes in pain.

"I'm coming!'' Duskmon called out as he floated over to his wife, kneeling down next to her. However, a roar got both their attention as they looked to see Imperialdramon break free of the water, before he started to glow white and split into two. The two lights disappeared to reveal Ulforceveedramon and BanchoStingmon, only looking more like dark versions.

"They split apart and Digivolved into Ulforceveedramon and BanchoStingmon!'' Shroudryumon called out in surprise at seeing Imperialdramon split into two, while the two infected Digimon charged at him. "Which means more work. Sefirot Crystal!'' Ophanimon called out as ten crystals appeared between her hands in a Sefirot formation, before firing beams at the two Digimon, striking BanchoStingmon, but missed UlfroceVeedramon.

"RRRRRAAAAA!'' Shroudryumon roared out as he charged at Ulforceveedramon, pulling his right fist back, which Ulfroceveedramon did the same before both Mega Digimon thrust out their fists, resulting in their fists slamming into each other. "Come on, Veemon! Fight it!'' Shroudryumon tried to call out to his friend, only to get a snarl in return.

With Ophanimon, she summoned her javelin and shield, before she crossed blades with BanchoStingmon, who was using his drills. "Wormmon, if you can hear me, please show a sign that you're still in there somewhere''. Ophanimon called out to the infected Digimon, only to get a snarl in return.

"Ready Palmon!?'' Mimi called out to her partner, getting a nod in return from the plant Digimon. "I was born ready!'' Palmon called out with a smile on her face. "Than let's go!'' Mimi called out as her Digivice activated.

(Tri Evolution)

Mimi's Digivice activated with words of different languages appearing on the screen then changes to reveal several yellow rings coming towards to reveal a hexagonal world with hexagons raining down in that world. "Palmon Digivolve to…!'' Palmon called out as she is surrounded by the hexagons, which formed a sphere around her.

Then, with flashes of light, the purple sphere grew bigger, until it dissolves to reveal a shadowed form with a yellow ring coming down, revealing its form. "Togemon!'' The revealed champion cried out to the heavens.

(Tri ultimate evolution)

Mimi's Digivice activated with words of different languages appearing on the screen before glowing and the device changing colour, then changes to reveal several yellow rings coming towards to reveal a hexagonal world. The Crest Symbol of Sincerity was coming down towards the Champion Digimon.

"Togemon Digivole to…!'' Togemon called out as the crest symbol of Sincerity went over her to reveal a Flower. Soon the flower bloomed with Lillymon coming out of the flower. "Lillymon!'' The newly evolved Ultimate Level Digimon called out her name to the heavens.

(Tri Mega evolution)

"Lillymon Mega Digivole to…!'' Lillymon called out, as a bright light appeared to reveal several yellow rings appearing below him, and then going upwards to reveal another shadow form. The same yellow circles from before reappeared, only going downwards to reveal the new form being formed from the circles. "Rosemon!'' The newly evolved Mega Digimon called out her name to the heavens.

(Evolution done)

"Forbidden Temptation!'' Rosemon called as she was covered in rose petals, unleashing a red blast that stroke Valkyrimon, pushing him back. Valkyrimon drew his 'Feral' sword before charging at Rosemon. The two Megas engaged in combat with Rosemon using her whip. "Hawkmon, please answer me, my friend!'' Rosemon called out in hopes for her friend to respond, but got a snarl instead.

AngicentGreymon slammed into Valkyrimon, pushing him away from Rosemon. "Not that I'm enjoying this, but its time to end this! Gaia Tornado!'' AncientGreymon roared out as he glowed red, before creating a tornado that swallows up Valkyrimon.

Valkyrimon shot out of the tornado, slamming into the ground. Valkyrimon was knocked out from the power of AncientGreymon's attack. "Now!'' AncientGreymon called out as he set his wings aflame, unleashing sparks of flames at the knocked out Valkyrimon, which formed into a fire cage around it.

"One down, three to go!'' Gommamon called out with a smile on his face as he watched ShineGreymon punch SlashAngemon back. "Gommamon!'' Joe called out to his partner, making Gommamon widen his eyes. "Joe!'' Gommamon called out in surprise to hear his partner's voice.

"Sorry I kept you waiting''. Joe apologized to his partner, making his eyes widen more, before he smirked. "It's about time''. Gommamon said with a smirk on his face. "Let's do this, partner''. Joe said to his partner, which Gommamon nodded. "GO GOMMAMON!'' Joe shouted out to his partner as his Digivice activated.

(Tri Evolution)

Joe's Digivice activated with words of different languages appearing on the screen then changes to reveal several yellow rings coming towards to reveal a hexagonal world with hexagons raining down in that world. "Gommamon Digivole to…!'' Gommamon called out as he is surrounded by the hexagons, which formed a sphere around her.

Then, with flashes of light, the purple sphere grew bigger, until it dissolves to reveal a shadowed form with a yellow ring coming down, revealing its form. "Ikkakumon!'' The champion roared out to the heavens.

(Digimon Tri Evolution Scene)

Joe's Digivice activated with words of different languages appearing on the screen before glowing and the device changing color, then changes to reveal several yellow rings coming towards to reveal a hexagonal world. The Crest Symbol of Reliability came down towards the Champion Digimon.

"Ikkakumon Digivole to…!'' Ikkakumon called out as the Crest Symbol of Reliability went over him to reveal a form covered in Data. Then the yellow rings came down to reveal the new form, with a hammer appearing in the new Digimon's right hand. "Zudomon!''. The newly evolved Ultimate Level Digimon called out his names to the heavens.

(Digimon Tri Mega Evolution scene)

"Zudomon Mega Digivole to…!'' Zudomon called out, as a bright light appeared to reveal several yellow rings appearing below him, before going upwards to reveal another shadow form. The same yellow circles went downwards to reveal the new form being formed from the circles. Shoulder armor appeared on the Digimon's shoulders as he banged his fist together. "Vikemon!'' The newly evolved Mega Digimon called out his name to the heavens.

(Evolution done)

"Artic Blizzard!'' Vikemon called out as he fired the morning stars on his back at SlashAngemon, creating an explosion on contact. SlashAngemon flew out of the explosion with, thrusting out its right hand blade at Vikemon, who reacted quickly and used his shield on his right shoulder to block.

"Armadillomon, stop this! We're your friends''. Vikemon tried to talk sense into his friend, only for SlashAngemon try to behead him. Fortunately, Vikemon ducked before jumping away from the controlled Mega.

"You forced my hand, old friend. Bazooka Howl!'' Vikemon cried out as he howled with all of its berserker rage. The force from the attack sent SlashAngemon slamming onto the ground, giving the perfect chance to trap him. "Now freeze!'' Vikemon called out as unleashed an ice wind.

Ice started to form around SlashAngemon, before trapping him in ice completely. "Two down, two to go! Sparkle Shoot!'' ShineGreymon called out as he fired bullets of light energy at BanchoStingmon, landing a direct hit but the Mega Digimon stood strong.

The drills on BanchoStingmon's hands started drilling with the Mega Insect Digimon going straight towards ShineGreymon. "Ooh, no you don't!'' Marcus called out as he brought out his Digivice Burst. "GeoGrey Sword!'' Marcus cried out, waving his right hand over his Digivice that had a glow coming out of it.

Flames appeared in front of ShineGreymon, intercepting BanchoStingmon's attack. The flames cleared to reveal the GeoGrey Sword. ShineGreymon took ahold of his weapon and pushed the controlled Mega Digimon away. "Come get some!'' ShineGreymon called out as he charged at BanchoStingmon, who engaged him with his drills.

The two Megas clashed their weapons against each other, refusing to lose this duel. Currently both Digimon were locked in a blade lock against each other. However BanchoStingmon raised right hand as his second drill started spinning, making ShineGreymon widen his eyes. "Rrraaa!'' Marcus cried out, making BanchoStingmon look up to see the street fighter falling towards him with his right fist out.

Marcus punched BanchoStingmon on the forehead, causing the Mega to cry out while giving ShineGreymon the opportunity he needed. ShineGreymon held up his left fist before slamming it into BanchoStingmon's stomach. But he wasn't done yet. The Vaccine Mega lifted BanchoStingmon off his head before diving town towards the ground, slamming the Insect Digimon onto the ground.

Marcus landed on his partner's left shoulder. "Hey, we got BanchoStingmon!'' Marcus cried out to his friends, getting Aquatimon's attention. "I'm on it!'' Aquatimon called out as she forced herself to her feet.

Aquatimon touched her lips with her right hand's index and middle finger, before holding her arm out as her two fingers' fingertips glowed blue. A stream of water came out of the fingertips that formed into water microphone, before Aquatimon began to sing. "Lyrical Wave!'' Aquatimon sang as the water formed into lyric shape.

The lyrics surrounded BanchoStingmon before forming into a water cage. "That leaves just one!'' ShineGreymon stated as he flew close to the water cage. "Not to mention fastest one''. Marcus commented with his arms crossed.

The street fighter wasn't wrong. UlforceVeedramon was flying at an incredible speed around Shroudryumon, Duskmon and Ophanimon. Ophanimon tried to fire a beam from her javelin, but was too slow and missed. "This is ridiculous!'' Ophanimon stated, trying to keep her eyes on the fastest Royal Knight Digimon.

"Agreed! If we had just a second of him staying still, that'll give us the chance we need''. Duskmon said, his blades already out.

UlforceVeedramon flew past Shoudryumon, slashing through him and leaving a cut on his face. "It was always a pain fighting him like this''. Shoudryumon commented, narrowing his eyes in annoyance.

UlforceVeedramon stopped in front of Duskmon, Shoudryumon and Ophanimon with the 'V' shape armor on his chest glowing, causing the three to widen their eyes. Suddenly out of nowhere, Leomon appeared, jumping on UlforceVeedramon's face, causing the Mega to misdirect his attack, missing the three comrades.

"Now!'' Leomon told his friends, who nodded. "Eden's Javelin!'' Ophanimon called out as she fired a beam of light from her Javelin. "Roar of the Dark Dragon Knight!'' Shoudryumon roared out as he unleashed a black breath attack from his mouth. "Deadly Gaze!'' Duskmon called out, shooting out laser beams from the eyes on its body.

Leomon leaped away just as the three attacks stroke UlforceVeedramon, sending the Royal Knight down to the ground. "Now! Gallantmon!'' Duskmon cried out to him comrade, who nodded to the Warrior of Darkness. "Lightning Joust!'' Gallantmon called out as he held up his spear as lightning danced around it.

Gallantmon pointed his spear at the fallen UlforceVeedramon, firing the lightning. However the lightning blast split apart into four pieces that formed into a square with the Mega inside of it. The lighting turned into pillars of lighting, trapping UlforceVeedramon. "Alright, we did it!'' Aquatimon called out in joy at seeing their mission end in success.

"But there's one thing left''. Duskmon stated as he, along with everyone else looked up at the smirking 'Ken', who was still holding Meicoomon. "Here I come, Meicoomon!'' Leomon cried out to the captive Champion Digimon. However, surprisingly 'Ken' floated down to the ground and let Meicoomon go.

Meicoomon turned to look at 'Ken', who stared at her for a few seconds before disappearing. "Hey, you aren't-!'' Marcus started to call out, till Duskmon interrupted him. "Don't bother. He's already gone''. Duskmon told his friend, getting him to grunt in frustration.

"Besides, we didn't come out empty handed''. Duskmon added as he looked at the trap forms of UlforceVeedramon, BanchoStingmon, Slash,Angemon and Valkyrimon. Everyone else looked at the forms of their controlled friends. "What happened to them that turned them into this?'' AncientGreymon questioned as Leomon picked up Meicoomon, Tanemon and Bukamon.

"The better question is how do we turn them back''. Gallantmon stated as he di-Biomerged back into Takato and Guilmon. "There's always a way for everything. We'll find a way to cure our friends''. Duskmon said as he looked at the four captive Digimon. Duskmon's eyes glowed purple as darkness surrounded the four-trapped Mega Digimon.

When the Darkness disappeared, the 4 Infected Digimon were gone. "Where did you send them?'' ShineGreymon asked the Warrior of Darkness. "Back home in a secret location that'll keep them contained till we find a cure of whatever we're dealing with''. Duskmon replied to ShineGreymon as he looked over his right shoulder to look at the Mega.

However, Duskmon saw something floating behind ShineGreymon. Before he could identify it, it disappeared. 'What was that?' Duskmon thought to himself, wondering what he saw. "Let's return! We've wasted enough time here!'' Duskmon ordered, getting nods of agreement from everyone.

A few seconds later, everyone stepped out of the distortion where they saw everyone waiting for them. Duskmon, Aquatimon and AncientGreymon returned to their human forms when they stepped out. Kari was leaning against Shadow, who was looking at her in concern. "That blast did something to you. Once we get back home, I'll ask mum to take a look at you''. Shadow said to his wife, who nodded without looking at him.

Tannemon and Bukamon jumped into Mimi and Joe's arms while the rest were welcomed back warmly. Marcus and Agumon got a hug from Yoshi and Lalamon before they started scolding them. Zoe leaped at Takuya, sending them both to the ground. Rika gave Takato a hug in relief, while Guilmon checked on his mate and unborn child.

Kiran walked up to Shadow, Kari, Gatomon and Grimdramon with his partner, GrimSalamon, Ruri, DarkWindramon, Raiden and DarkBlazedramon next to him. "Papa! Mama!'' GrimSalamon cried out as she jumped into her mother's claws, who smiled at her. DarkWindramon gave her brother his second child's Digi-Egg.

"Thanks sis''. Grimdramon thanked his sister, who winked at him. "Lucky bastard getting all the fun to himself''. DarkBlazdramon grumped out, holding his and DarkWindramon's Digi-Egg.

"Why did Ken appear? Why did he try to capture Meicoomon and why were UlforceVeedramon, BanchoStingmon, SlashAngemon and Valkyrimon with him?'' T.K questioned, the events of today still fresh on his mind. "That was not Ken''. Shadow told T.K, getting his attention.

"His aura and presence felt different. More…evil… Ken would never have that kind of aura''. Shadow explained to the Digidestined of Hope. Suddenly out of nowhere, he felt an wild presence, making the King of Darkness widen his eyes at its sudden appearance.

Shadow turned around to see that the presence was coming from Meicoomon, who was being held up by Leomon. 'No!' Shadow screamed out in his head, before thrusting his right hand out and firing a black blast, striking Meicoomon and forcing her out of Leomon's hands.

The sudden attack made everyone widen their eyes. "Shadow, what's the big-!'' Tai started to yell out in anger, till he heard it. Everyone heard angry growling, getting them all to see that Meicoomon was the cause. Meicoomon had changed somehow, looking more deadly.

"What the…?'' Mikey questioned in disbelief at Meicoomon's sudden transformation, who was growling at all of them. The transformed Meicoomon suddenly just disappeared, before reappearing in front of Shadow. Before the King of Darkness could react, Meicoomon attacked.

Slash!

Everyone widen their eyes in shock as Meicoomon slashed Shadow's left eye, giving him a deep scare. "Aaahhhh!'' Shadow cried out in pain as purple blood started coming out of his scare. "Shadow!'' Everyone cried out in concern for the King of Darkness.

Satisfied with the damage, Meicomon leaped back to the distortion. The Champion looked back at his partner for a second before leaping in. The distortion closed after the Champion entered, but no paid any attention to that as they all gathered around the kneeling King of Darkness, who had his left hand over his scared eye.

"Shadow! Please be okay?'' Kari asked in deep concern for her husband, kneeling down next to him. "Is your eye okay?'' Ruri asked her brother, kneeling besides Kari. "Why did that Digimon attack you?'' Rika questioned her adopted older brother, kneeling besides him in concern.

Shadow opened his right eye to look at his wife and sisters. "Kari, everyone, listen. A few days ago, I ran into Lucemon. I thought if anybody would know what's going on, it would be a servant of DeathReappermon. However, all I got was more questions then answers. But he did say that Meicoomon is the key to all of this''. Shadow told his friends and family, wincing a bit from his wound.

"Meicoomon?'' Matt questioned with wide eyes, wondering how the Champion that just hurt his friend is the key to all of this. "So you're saying that if we destroy Meicoomon, all the Infected Digimon will return to normal?'' Izzy questioned the King of Darkness, who shook his head.

"No, destroying her won't change anything. We need to find her and do some research to find out why she is involved of all of this. The more we find out, the closer we can get to ending this without bloodshed''. Shadow replied to the Digidestined of Knowledge.

Everyone looked at each other in concern, wondering what will happen in the near future.

I hope you all enjoyed that. It sure was a long time coming chapter. The song I had Shadow sing was the Yugioh Vrains second ending song. I don't need to say this, but I was a little disappointed that in Tri 2, nobody tried to talk to Imperialdramon and try to see if he was Veemon and Wormmon. They just outright attacked them and destroyed him, but they all said in victory. That was one of the big disappointments to me. I saw the trailer for the new Digimon Movie and that made me have second thoughts for an idea I had. One thing I hope to see is a happy reunion of Davis, Kari, T.K,, Yolei, Ken and Cody, plus their Digimon.

Next story I'll update will come out on Christmas, but it won't be a Digimon story. Maybe my Pokemon, Yugioh Zexal or Fairy Tail one. Time will only tell. Till then, see ya.
