Over the last few years, ever since Evie had unknowingly awoken him from her mother's Curse, Harry had dreamed of his reunion with his father. None of those imaginings, however, had included being kidnapped by Mr. Smee and dragged unconscious onto the Jolly Roger. The relief he felt at awakening to see his father keeping vigil at his bedside was short-lived when, after embracing his son warmly, Killian Jones began to detail how they were to get their revenge on the Evil Queen's wench of a daughter.

"I know you don't see it now, lad," Hook added when he saw the thunderous expression on his son's face, "but once we have your heart, well, I'm quite sure you'll see things my way."

There was a curious ringing in his ears that Harry might have wondered over had he not been so furious. "I have my heart, da." He snapped, throwing his legs over the edge of the cot even as the room swam a little. "Evie and I found it in her mother's room of horrors and my princess returned it to me the moment the Curse was lifted."

He didn't mention the small part Gold had played in keeping his heart safe, knowing that any mention of the crocodile would set his father off. The older man had yet to collect on the debt they owed him, and he'd be lying if the very thought hadn't kept him up at night more than once.

Hook sneered. "I see that miserable little wretch still has you under her spell. Well," he stood, reaching out to shove Harry back onto the cot when he made to stand. "Until I deal with her, you'll stay here."

Jaw working furiously, Harry made to shove by his father. Catching his son's shoulder, Hook firmly pushed the boy back onto the cot and swiftly slipped from the room, locking it behind him. He ignored the furious pounding on the other side. It was easier to focus on how happy he was over their reunion, rather than how terribly said reunion had gone. Harry was clearly still within the thrall of the Evil Queen's spawn.

"Mr. Smee!" The shorter man was before him in an instant, looking terrible uncomfortable. "You have my thanks. Our business is concluded."

"You- you aren't gonna hurt Master Harry, are you cap'n?" Twisting his red cap nervously, he tried and failed to stand tall when Hook's gaze narrowed. "Or-or Miss Evie?"

"Have a care, Mr. Smee. Whatever issues exist between my son and myself is none of your concern." Raising his hook in mock contemplation, he did little to hide the subtle threat. "Now, as I said before, our business is concluded."

Swallowing thickly, Smee replaced the red cap to its place on his head. Nodding in deference to his former captain, he turned and left the ship. Having lived beneath the Curse with Master Harry and Miss Evie, having spent some time in their company, he knew without a doubt that Evie never would have harmed a hair on Harry's head. Yet Killian Jones refused to believe anything he was told, and his behavior was uncomfortably familiar to the single-minded way he pursued his revenge on the Dark One.

"Forgive me, Master Harry."

"Magic mirror in my... hand." Evie amended, staring daggers when Henry snickered. "Show me where our mother... stands."

Peering into the small mirror she held high enough for the both of them to see, Evie waited. She smiled at Henry's sharp intake of breath when the foggy surface began to clear. Their mother's pale, strained face was the first thing they saw when the smoke had vanished. Her makeup was smudged, and it looked like she hadn't slept since going on the run after she was blamed for Archie's death.

On his tiptoes, Henry squinted to take in the blurry surroundings. "She's in the family Mausoleum!" He announced gleefully, face lighting up in relief.

"What?" Bringing the mirror closer, Evie studied it intently and sagged with relief. "You're right." Hugging Henry close, Evie held up the mirror with a breathless laugh. "Let's go get our mom."

Though Henry begged, Evie refused to magically transport them to the cemetery. His grumbling over the unfairness of it all faded the closer they came to large building located in the center of the fog covered tombstones. Evie paused before the large doors while Henry charged in without a care. Sighing heavily, she followed, taking care to close the doors behind them.

They'd told no one of the truth of their outing, merely that Henry would be staying with Evie overnight. Emma hadn't been a fan of their plan, but she'd had no real reason to deny her son if he wanted to spend time with his sister/great-aunt.

"Mother?" Concentrating, Evie carefully used magic to move the empty sarcophagus she'd once thought held her grandfather's remains. The staircase into the vault was dark, though a few torches lit themselves upon Evie's command. Hand in hand, the siblings crept down the stone steps, looking around warily. "Mom?"

Henry joined his voice to hers. "Mom?"

Glancing round, Evie narrowed her eyes at an exact copy of mother's magic mirror on the opposite wall. Nudging Henry, they approached it without fear, refusing to cower before their mother.

"Mom, we know you're in there; we just wanna talk." Evie tried, lips pursed when there was no reaction.

"We know you didn't kill Archie. Please, mom."

It was the please that did it. Watching her children, the cloth of her skirt bunched in her shaking fists, Regina tried to remain strong. She refused to hurt her children again, no matter how much it tore her up inside to be apart from them. But Henry's pleas were too much, and she quickly lowered the enchantment keeping her hidden.

"Mom!"

A sharp gasp escaped Regina when her children nearly tackled her. Lost in their reunion, the Mills family didn't notice that someone was making their way into the vault. Cora stood at the base of the small staircase, hands clasped before her. It would be harder to turn her daughter against the town now that she'd been reunited with her children, but Cora was nothing if not flexible. Soon enough, she'd have her daughter back by her side where she belonged, and together they'd find their happily ever after.

Evie was the first to notice her, hackles raising immediately. "Grandmama."

Herding her children behind her, Regina eyed her mother warily. "Mother. What the hell are you doing here?"

"Oh," Cora's smile was red-lipped and white. "My dears. Is that any way to greet family?"

Yes, soon Regina would be with her. While she would prefer Evie ended up on their side as well, she was quite certain young Henry would prove himself a more than useful pawn to be used and discarded.

"Now, why don't you introduce me to my grandson."
