Author's Note: Yet another outing with Sava Castle, because I needed fluff. NYLF x

Castle paced the room slowly, in one smooth motion.

From the window on one side of the room, past the end of the bed, to the door on the other side and back against the wall. He gently bounced even as he walked, muscle memory taking over.

"Oh, oh, oh." He murmured softly, the tiny bundle in his arms technically asleep but he couldn't risk her waking. He needed his tiny second born to sleep through if his partner had any chance of going to sleep.

At barely three hours old, their daughter had her mother entranced.

"How is she?" Kate asked quietly, shuffling over to him, leaving the bathroom light on, and gently pulling down the side of the blanket to peek at the little scrunched up face of their newborn. "She sleep the whole time?"

Rick nodded. "Yeah, she's perfect, haha. She's slept pretty much since they stopped prodding her." He smiled softly. "You need to sleep, momma." He murmured quietly, leaning across to kiss the top of her head, his smile growing a little when Kate leaned into his side. "Not on me." He chuckled, wiggling his shoulder.

Kate huffed a laugh. "She's too perfect, I can't stop looking at her." She shrugged, gently stroking her fingertip down the baby's nose. "Our little Sava." She smiled.

"I thought we had agreed on Savannah?" Rick asked, watching as Kate made her way slowly back to her bed, his heart going out to her. A selfish part of him was glad he never had to experience childbirth first hand, even as the rest of him was beaming with pride and gratitude for her.

"Mhmm." Kate hummed gently, easing herself onto the bed, wincing as she got comfortable, slowly dragging the blankets up her legs and smoothing them down in her lap. "But it's bigger than her, Rick." She smiled, gazing fondly at their dinky five pound two baby girl. "When she's bigger, she'll be Savannah."

Rick smiled, shaking his head at her affectionately. "I guess she is a little bit little for such a big name." He smiled down at the baby. "She is ever so tiny."

"Still healthy though." Kate argued, had asked several times of several different people since her miniscule weight had been announced.

Rick nodded. "Still healthy." He gently kissed his second daughter's head, gathering her a little more securely into his chest. "I like Sava." He murmured. "I think it suits her."

Kate nodded. "Me too." She hid her yawn behind her hand, even as it spilt her face and stretched her words.

"You need to sleep, Kate." Rick pressed gently, walking to the side of the bed and perching on the edge, watching with no envy at all as Kate winced as she tried to get comfy. "She'll still be here when you wake up." He promised, knowing just how dreamlike it felt to him, wondering if it felt just as unreal to her that they were finally here, finally parents.

"I know." Kate smiled, her face already going slack, her eye lids drooping as she fought valiantly against the sleep that threatened to pull her under. "I just like looking at her."

Rick shook his head at her, smiling widely. "And you can look at her some more in the morning. Get some sleep, momma."

"Okay." She agreed reluctantly. "I love you."

"I love you too." Rick smiled, kissing her forehead gently.

"And I love you Sava, to the moon and back again."
