Sorry if this or something like this has already been done, but I wanted to try my hand at KnightRook (and at a particular head canon that i have in my head for them both).
The song chosen is "Galway Bay by Liadan" but I changed a few words as well as replaced Illinois and Irish since that isn't a thing in the Enchanted Forest/Misthaven realm (for all we know anyway when it comes to the last one).

Sing Me Sweet Lullabies and Chase the Demons Away
"PAPA!"
The crackling clatter of the storm outside was nothing compared to the frightened shriek of his little three years old as he bolted upright from the bed. In seconds he crossed the small space to Alice, his little love fighting and failing to free her limbs from the tangled sheets to get to him as fat tears streamed down her chubby cheeks.
"Shhhh my little love, papa's here." He cooed, gently disentangling her to scoop her up into the crook of his left arm. "Papa's here."
She whimpered and burrowed into the safety of his arms, burying her face against his bare chest and little fingers reaching up to curl into the nest of coarse dark hair. The flash of lightening followed by the proceeding boom had her skittish and fidgety as he moved her and himself back to his own bed, swaying to and fro gently as he went.
Continuing the soothing rocking motion even as he cocooned them both under the blanket, he began to hum the soft tenor of one of her many favorite lullabies.
~~~It's far away I am today
from scenes I roamed a boy
And long ago the hour, I know
I first saw ventures lure
But time nor tide nor water wide
could wean my heart away
And straight and true 'twill fly to you
my own dear Galway Bay~~~
As few and far between as they came now, Killian still found his dreams troubled by the demons of his past. Nameless seas of people with blurry faces; people he's wronged in his long, long life.
The sea seemed endless and all consuming, their cold cruel fingers gripping and groping for purchase to seek retribution for the sins he committed upon them.
~~~By shore and creek both grey and bleak
the rugged rocks abound ~~~
The swarm seemed to slow as the light lilting voice penetrated the darkness.
~~~But sweeter green the grass between
than grows on Dunbroch ground~~~
All at once, the cold bony fingers receded from his skin, and he could breathe again.
~~~So friendship fond all else beyond
and love to live always~~~
He allowed the light to warm him, to guide him, until the fog cleared enough for Killian to realize he was waking.
~~~Bless each dear home beside your foam
my own dear Galway Bay~~~
He groaned, feeling sticky from the summer heat clinging to his skin, but it was the soothing little fingers combing through his hair that had him opening his eyes to his seven years old daughter. Blue eyes met blue and she smiled gently as she continued to comb her fingers through his hair, mimicking the action he's done for her so many times before.
It warmed his aching, old heart, to know that his daughter sought to comfort him too when the demons chose to torment him for a change.
"Shh, papa, I'm here." She whispered as she shifted to curl against his side; her sweet lilting humming filling the quiet of the tower and chasing the darkness away.
