I'M BACK BITCHES!
Hehe, sorry if it took awhile, but finally done. I'll admit, I had a bit of writers block which really halted me. But, I can't thank my friend Qazse enough for this, after a quick chat with him and some ideas shared, I was finally able to complete this! So everyone better make sure to thank him for helping me.
So, I know you're all dying to read this and I won't hold you any longer, enjoy yourselves!
"Alright, fam, I'd like to introduce you to my best friend and old plumber partner, Phil!" Albert introduced in front of his whole family as well as Clyde and Ja'Orre. Currently the whole family was in the dining room for dinner. Ja'Orre was of course there and sitting next to Lori, much to the oldest child's irk, and Clyde was there after getting permission from his dads. And of course the kids were thrilled to meet an old friend of their Pop-pop!
"Hey there everyone." Phil greeted with a wave to the family. He took some time to look over every single Loud child before nudging Lynn Sr with his elbow and whispering to the Loud father. "It seems you and Rita had a fair share of fun nights."
Lynn Sr's face turned bright red as he scratched the back of his head with a sheepish smile on his face. "Well, I guess sometimes we couldn't help ourselves."
"OK! That's enough of that!" Rita quickly interrupted as she faced her family. "Now kids, while Phil is here I expect you all to be on your best behavior."
"Yes mom." All the Loud kids said in unison.
"Yes Mrs. Loud." Clyde and Ja'Orre said in unison.
However, Phil simply chuckled and put a hand on Rita's shoulder. "Relax Rita, I'm not the queen of England. I'd be happy if everyone just be themselves. Now…" Phil then took a seat and took a sniff of his food and sighed in delight. "Let's eat!"
And eat they did! Granted, Lincolns, Clydes, and Ja'Orre's portions were smaller due to having eaten before coming home. "So Mr. Phil…" Lana began with her mouth full.
"Please, just call me Phil." Phil told the tomboy with a chuckle. "You'll make me feel old."
"You mean older?" Albert joked, earning a light glare from Phil and a few chuckles from the table.
"So, Phil." Lana asked again with an excited smirk on her face. "You just have to tell me, what kind of cool alien animals have you and Pop-pop encountered?! Were they furry? Were they slimy? How many eyes and tails did they have?"
"Ugh, only you would be interested in gross alien creatures." Lola said with an eyeroll as she went to take another bite of her casserole only to stop when she felt and saw both Lincoln and Ja'Orre glaring at her. "Present company excluded."
"Oh we encountered so much. Here, I brought pictures." Phil reached into his pocket and pulled out a silver disc like device. He then pushed a button on the bottom of the disc and suddenly the disc beamed up a blue light the created a holographic screen. And on the screen it showed a picture of a creature with orange fur, gills around its head, and no eyes, nose, or ears.
"Woah! Wicked." Luna said as she looked up at the screen.
"What's that thing?" Lori asked in a confused and slightly disgusted tone. "And why does it literally have no facial features?"
"That there's a vulpamancer." Phil answered as he showed a few more examples of said creature. "Don't let their lack of facial features fool you. These guys are deadly and can smell you from miles away. They have jaws and claws that can rip through steel. And believe it or not they're actually kinda sentient. Not as much as say humans, but they aren't stupid mutts I can tell you that much."
"Wow, that's so cool!" Lana said with stars in her eyes. "I wonder what they're fur feels like to pet."
"Bad idea there kiddo." Phil immediately said with a chuckle. "Trust me these guys are aggressive and don't really like humans. Well they do, but only when they're in their mouths and belly's."
"Yikes, talk about being a lot to stomach." Luan punned getting groans from everyone but Lynn Sr, Phil, and Albert. "Hahahaha! Get it!"
"Hohoho, good one Luan." Albert complimented his comedian granddaughter.
"Heh, yeah not bad kid." Phil complimented as well. "You know, I've never been great at making puns but doggone it I'm gonna try!"
"Hahahaha! Good one!" Luan told Phil with a wink.
"Ok, so what else have ya got?" Leni asked, a little eager at seeing different alien speices herself. Can never run out of inspiration after all! Her cloths she made based of her brother's transformations have quickly become popular!
"Sure thing!" Phil then started scrolling through the photo's as everyone watched different alien species show up on the holoscreen. Every now and then an alien would pop up that the family would recognize from the Omnitrix. For example they learned that Big Chill's species were called Necrofriggians, Fasttrack was a Citrakayah, and Heatblast was a Pyronite. "These don't even add up to a fraction of the aliens that live in our galaxy. All shapes and sizes."
"Amazing." Lisa said as she wrote down everything Phil told them about each species in a notebook. "To think all these different aliens with their own culture, technology, biology. So much we can learn or study."
"Yeah tell me about it." Phil said with a relaxed sigh. "It was amazing let me tell you all. The countless adventures. Meeting amazing people and aliens that I would still call friends. Beating up intergalactic criminals. Hehe, and who could forget all the amazing women of all species."
"Eeeeeew…" Most of the Loud kids let out in response and Albert lightly hit Phil on the shoulder.
"Maybe…avoid that kinda talk around the kids please." Lynn Sr said with a bit of an embarrassed blush on his face.
"Right, right, sorry." Phil said with his hands up. However, a thought soon came to Phil as he cupped his chin before turning to his old partner. "Although speaking of alien women, and don't worry its nothing inappropriate, have you heard from Xylene lately?"
"Xylene?" Albert said with lightly widened eyes after hearing his partner mention her. "Wow, no I haven't. Honestly haven't thought about her in a little bit."
"Who's Xylene?" Lynn Jr asked with a raised eyebrow. "An old friend of yours Pop-pop?"
"Yeah, we used to work together." Albert explained as he looked up at the ceiling with a smile on her face. "We made a pretty good team. Wonder what she's up to now-a-days…"
As Albert escaped into past memories of his plumbers, he failed to notice his daughter slightly narrowing her eyes at him. She had grown to accept Albert's true past as a Plumber, but there was still a little bit of resentment for lying to her and her mother for years. Also, for some reason the name Xylene really put Rita off. She didn't like it.
"So what kind of different mission did you two do while you were still plumbers?" Clyde asked, excited about hearing some high action stories of two intergalactic agents. It was like a comic book turned real!
"Aw man where do we begin?" Albert and Phil said in unison causing both of them to chuckle. The amount of stories those two had were near endless. There was the time they had to stop an outbreak of vulpamancer's on the Tetromand home planet due to an alien poacher accidently letting a bunch lose there. There was the war between various planets and the sludge people. They time they sent a rabbit to the moon for…reasons.
"Oh! I got the perfect one!" Phil said as he slammed his fist into his open palm. "How about…our final showdown with Vilgax!"
…
You could cut the tension in the air with a knife. Almost everyone at the table dropped their silverware with their eyes widening with Lucy in particular gently stroking where her bangs were cut. That name…wasn't the brightest subject in the household.
"Hey Linc." Clyde whispered to his friends' ear as he saw Lincoln subconsciously scratching the Omnitrix at the mention of that name, as if ready to activate it at the drop of a hat. "You alright?"
Phil himself started to feel a little awkward and started scratching the back of his head. "Was it…something I said?" Phil asked as he looked around at the people sitting at the dinner table.
"Well…kinda…" Lola said in a bit of a frightened tone as she tried to get the warlord out of her mind.
"So, wait, who's Vilgax?" Ja'Orre asked as he scratched his head. He's never even heard of the intergalactic warlord before.
"We just…have some experience with that name…" Lucy told the old Plumber as she held her hair.
"Wait…what?" Phil asked with a surprised tone and expression. "What do you mean you have experience with Vilgax?"
The family looked around at each other with uncertainty. They remembered Vilgax more then they would have liked to. Some still had some rather bad nightmares about the warlord. Lincoln looked to his pop-pop, silently asking him what to say to his old partner. Albert simply nodded at Lincoln, allowing his grandson to tell Phil everythin. "Its because…" Lincoln said as he stood up on his chair to look at Phil better. "I fought Vilgax."
…
…
"Heh…hehehe! Hahahaha!" Suddenly, after a tense silence, Phil started laughing his butt off. Some of the Loud family looked at him with surprised looks, the rest looked at him with light glares off annoyance while Clyde and Ja'Orre simply looked around awkwardly. Phil's laughter finally died down by putting his hand to his chest in order to calm himself down and get his heartrate down. "Hehe, oh man. Fought Vilgax. That grandson of yours is a real joker eh Albert?"
This caused Luan to cross her arms and pouted. "I'm the joker in the family." The 14-year-old comedian grumbled.
"Phil." Albert said in a serious tone while shooting his old partner a look that matched his tone. Phil looked to Albert and flinched a little once he saw the look on Alberts face. "He's being serious. Just me. I was there."
This caused Phil to silently gasped and give an audible gulp. "W-W-W-What?" Phil stuttered out in a fearful tone that was quite a surprise to see on the normally confident and joking man. "But…that's impossible. He's dead! We killed him!"
"Yeah…that's what I thought…" Albert said as he looked up as he remembered the day he had thought he had taken down Vilgax for good.
In the middle of nowhere, a spot where you would have to know to find, there was a nuclear missile center. This was a facility meant for sending out nuclear attacks should a very serious situation call for it. However, thankfully, tonight wasn't one of those nights and things were rather quiet with all the workers feeling rather bored over nothing happening.
But this quietness wouldn't last for long.
Suddenly the caps of the missile silos were covered in orange electricity as they were opened up with out command. Beams of orange light then shined down on all the open missile silos that caused the nukes from within to be pulled out and levitated into the sky.
"Security Breach! Red Alert!" Alarms quickly went off over the entire facility as the nukes were being stolen by some mysterious force.
In a deeper part of the facility, soldiers were already stationed with weapons at the ready to take out any intruder that may find their way inside. And after that alert, they were already expecting someone or something to confront them. They didn't wait long as an explosion came through the only door that lead to the room they were in.
The solider quickly pointed their guns at the door as smoke came through it. However, they didn't get a chance to fight as suddenly lasers were shot through the smoke and struck each of the soldier's, sending them to the ground.
Finally, the smoke cleared revealing two familiar disk-like drones. Coming up from behind them was none other then the Cthulhu-like warlord himself, Vilgax. However, Vilgax looked extremely different then then he did now. He was rather skinny, having hardly any of the bulk he did now along with a completely lack of cybernetic enhancements and a shorter tentacle beard.
Once Vilgax entered the room, he looked around at all the weapons that filled the room. Mostly more nukes as well as a stock pile of smaller weapons that could aid him in his many conquest. As Vilgax was looking, suddenly two lasers were shot from behind destroying his two drones. Vilgax quickly turned around and crossed his arms to block a shot that simply pushed him back then doing any damage. Vilgax quickly recognized the three behind him and narrowed his eyes at the group. "You." Vilgax growled as three men in Plumber uniforms were standing him down. Two of them were rather similar in height and build with the third a bit short and plumber then the other two.
"Its over Vilgax!" The first one said with his gun pointed straight at the conquer of worlds.
"Its time for your reign of terror to end!" The third man in a Hispanic accent.
"You're going down!" The second man said as he pointed at Vilgax.
"Many have tried. All have failed." Vilgax told them as he was perfectly ready to kill these three Plumbers in front of him and go back to stealing the weapons of destruction.
"Until now!" The second man said as he charged at Vilgax.
"Phil! Wait!" The first man called out to try and stopped what was revealed to be a younger version of Phil.
"You can't just rush blindly!" The short Hispanic man called out before turning to the one next to him. "We gotta save him Albert!"
"Don't worry Hector. I have a plan." The younger version of Lincoln's pop-pop told the younger version of Ronnie Anne's abuelo.
When Phil ran towards Vilgax, Phil shot his weapon at the squid warlord with Vilgax backflipping high into the air and jumping on the wall behind him and using it as a springboard to launch himself towards Phil and kick him right in the face. This caused the plumbers helmet to come off showing Phil's hair used to be black in his younger days.
Once Phil was down, Vilgax picked up the Plumber and put him in a choke hold and put his own weapon to Phil's head. Just then a third drone appeared from behind Vilgax and floated over to a nearby control panel and inserted itself into the system and armed the missile to launch. "Back away, or watch one of your cities be destroyed!" Vilgax threated as the room of the facility opened up. Vilgax then pointed the gun he took from Phil at Albert and Hector and made another demand. "Put the weapon down. Now!"
Albert dropped the gun and put his arms up with Hector sneakily walking backwards to avoid Vilgax's vision. "You can't just let him get away!" Phil said as he struggled to get out of Vilgax's grip.
"Never said we would amigo!" Hector said as suddenly he pulled out a small plasma pistol and aimed it at Vilgax's hand where he quickly shot the Warlord. This caused Vilgax to flinch and drop the gun as well as loosen his grip on Phil allowing the Plumber to elbow Vilgax in the face before delivering a round house kick that pushed Vilgax back towards the missile his drone was setting up to launch.
And speaking of launch, right as this happened the command was set as the missile showed itself ready to fire with a 'ding' sound. "You're to late!" Vilgax told the group of plumbers around him.
"Wrong." Albert stated in a confident tone. "My timings perfect." Albert then kicked the weapon he just dropped into the air and quickly caught it and fired a green sphere out of it at Vilgax. The sphere exploded into a web-like shape as it hit Vilgax and his drone and stuck them to the missile. Vilgax struggled to escape the sticky substance, but was unable to do so as the missile was fired into the sky. "NOOOOOO!" Vilgax yelled as he was shot up into the sky.
"What are you doing?" Phil asked as Hector and Albert took off their helmets with Hector having black hair similar to Phil, and Albert having pure white hair just like his future grandson.
"Sending Vilgax out with a bang." Albert punned with a smirk as the three Plumbers looked up as the missile Vilgax was stuck to collided right with his ship that he was using to steal the missile's from the silo's.
A large explosion occurred that completely demolished the ship. All the three plumbers watched as nothing but alien debris fell from the sky.
An hour later, Hector, Albert and Phil were seen looking around the area below where the ship had exploded. "Find anything Hector?" Phil called out as he lifted a rather large remaining piece of the alien ship.
"Nothing but exploded metal." Hector called out in response as so far all he saw was metal, metal, and more destroyed metal.
"Do you think we finally did it?" Phil said as smile came to his face. "Did we actually kill Vilgax?"
"I'm not sure." Albert said as he looked under a large chunk of metal. "I just…have a feeling."
"Afterwards your grandpa search for his body for days. But never found a trace. We all hoped he was simply vaporized." Phil finished telling the story to everyone. "But…it looks like we were wrong."
"Ya think?" Lori said with rather angry sarcasm.
"I can't apologize to you lot enough." Phil said with a frown on his face as he looked down on the table. "I was quick to assume that space squid was dead. But if we were serious and put more effort to find his body, we might have been able to take him out for good and save you all the trauma."
"Its alright Phil. Really." Lincoln reassured the retired Plumber with a small but kind smile. "You couldn't have suspected that he lived through something like that. I probably would have suspected he was dead to. You did your best."
"Heh, thanks kid." Phil told Lincoln with his own smile. "I apricate that."
"Geez Linc, I can't believe you had to fight a guy like that." Clyde said in a fearful tone as well as a worried tone for his best friend getting into what was probably a life or death fight. "How come you never told me?"
"I guess I didn't want you worrying or freaking out about me." Lincoln explained to Clyde has he put a hand to the back of his head. "Sorry bout that."
"Well later you're telling me about all your adventures while I was away." Clyde said in a rather firm tone as he put his arms to his hips.
"Oh! Me to! Me to!" Ja'Orre said in his usual happy and peppy tone. "I want in on story time to!"
Lincoln simply chuckled and nodded his head. "Yeah, alright guys." Lincoln told the two who nodded in satisfaction.
Once this happened, Phil narrowed his eyes at Ja'Orre. Yes, he was enjoying spending time with his old best friend and his family. Honestly, he wouldn't mind doing this more often. Sharing stories with the kids, hanging out with his buddy again. He might even visit Hector after this. But still…he had a mission to do.
Catch that disguised Ectonurite.
"Excuse me, I have a question." Lucy spoke up as she rose her hand in the air. "Other then not putting down Vilgax, what would you say was your deepest regret and biggest mistake you made as Plumbers?"
Both Albert and Phil looked at each other. Almost instantly, they both knew what to say. "Bringing an alien race back from the break of extinction." The two old Plumbers said in unison.
"What wait?" Leni asked in confusion. "Why would you regret bringing back an almost extinct species?"
Both Albert and Phil continued looking to each other as they remembered the species they managed to bring back…
MEANWHILE ON A DISTANT PLANET
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"LILY IS USELESS AT FIRST BUT THENS STARTS DOING STUFF!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"RONNIE ANNE TURNS PINK AND SOME OTHER COLORS!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"SOME DUDE RIPS OFF FULL METAL ALCHEMIST!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"CARLOTA MOVES IN WITH THE LOUDS!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"CLYDE BECOMES A MONSTER AGAIN!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"A TEAM OF IDIOTS SAVE THE GALAXY!"
"I CAN SEE THE FUTURE!"
"LINCOLN GETS BETRAYED BY A CLOSE FRIEND, BUT THEY MAKE UP AND SAVE THE WORLD!"
"Believe us kids, some things are better off dead." Albert told his family with an annoyed look on his place. Needless to say, never going to that planet again.
"Yeah, not our brightest decision looking back at it." Phil said with as he held his hand, an annoyed expression on his face. The old plumber then shook it off and looked towards Lincoln with his usual relaxed smile. "So kid, you just gotta tell me, how did you of all people fight Vilgax? No offense or anything, I'm sure you're tougher than ya look, but this is Vilgax we're talking about. How'd you do it?"
Lincoln smirked as he started rolling up his sleeve. He was pretty excited to get to show off the Omnitrix to someone who used to be a plumber. His pop-pops old friend and partner no less! "Why don't you see it for yourself." Lincoln said in a confident tone as he slammed his arm down on the table, the Omnitrix in full view.
"Woah, neat watch." Phil complimented as he put a thoughtful hand to his chin. "I swear I've seen it before…"
"Well you probably have." Lincoln told Phil with a wide smile. "It's the Omnitrix!"
"Wait, Omnitrix?" Phil asked in a surprised tone. "You mean thee Omnitrix?"
"Yeah!" Lincoln said with a strong nod. "I used this to fight Vilgax as well as do all sorts of stuff for the summer. Turning into aliens, stopping bad guys, and just having fun."
"Among other things." Lynn nervously said as she remembered some of the…less fun things that have happened over the summer. Some of which she may or may not have caused but at least she can say she wasn't the cause of everything that's happened.
"Wow kid, well color me impressed." Phil said with a rather big grin of his own towards Lincoln. "Its like you're walking in your pop-pops shoes." Phil then stood up from his chair and gave a strong salute towards Lincoln. "I wish you luck in any future mission's Plumber Lincoln."
Lincoln's eyes practically sparkled at this as he returned Phil's salute. "I appreciate that, Plumber Phil."
Everyone at the table got a good chuckle from this when suddenly Phil's watch started beeping. This caused the old plumber to look at his watch and whistle once he looked at the time. "Wow, time sure flies when you're having fun eh?" Phil said as he stretched out his muscles. "Welp, sorry to cut this short but I think I should be heading out."
"Aaaaaaaw." The entire table let out, upset that Phil was leaving.
"Aw come on, don't give me those faces." Phil said with a chuckle and he pushed his seat into the table. "I'll visit ya again. I had a lot of fun."
"It was great seeing ya again bud." Albert said as he got up and walked over to Phil and patted him on the shoulder. "Don't be a stranger, ya here?"
"Will do, and maybe you should eat a salad once in a while." Phil joked as he patted Albert's gut. "Getting kinda round there."
"Why I outta…" Albert said as he light hit Phil on the shoulder causing both men to laugh for a brief moment.
"Oh, and Lincoln." Phil said as he turned to the white haired 11-year-old. "Mind coming outside real quick?" I wanna give ya something."
"Oh, uh, sure." Lincoln said with a lightly surprised tone. He wasn't expecting this, but he wasn't gonna turn down a gift! So, getting out of his chair, Lincoln followed Phil outside and towards the old mans rather nice car.
"Alright no where is it?" Phil asked himself as he popped open the trunk of the car and started digging around through the stuff he had in there. After a solid minute of rummaging around, Phil finally found what he was looking for and turn back towards Lincoln with something in his hand. "Alright kid, hold your hand out."
Lincoln did as Phil told him and held his right hand. Phil then reached out above Lincoln's hand and placed the object he had in it. Lincoln felt the object for a moment and could tell it was metallic, looking at what Phil gave him, the Loud boy saw it was a badge with a silver frame and circular red center. "What this?" Lincoln said as he looked over the badge.
"It's my old Plumbers badge." Phil told Lincoln, causing the Omnitrix wielder to silently gasp and for his eyes to widen a bit. "I don't really have a need for it anymore, but a young, charming, and brave up and coming Plumber like you deserves it."
"Wow…you really think I have what it takes to be a Plumber?" Lincoln asked as he looked at his reflection on the badge.
"Hell yeah kid!" Phil encouraged as he knelt down on knee so he could look Lincoln in the eye. "Look kid, being Plumber takes courage, wits, and strength. And just by looking at you, I can tell you have all of those and then some. Son, the Plumbers would be lucky to have someone like you in our ranks."
Lincoln silently gasped again at all of Phil's words before putting on a determined smile and saluting Phil once more. "I promise I won't let you down." Lincoln told the old Plumber with nothing but pure determination and will in his voice.
"I know you won't kid." Phil said as he patted Lincoln on the head. Phil then shifted his eyes around, looking for any potential witness's before looking down at Lincoln again and asking. "Hey, would you mind sending Ja'Orre out here real quick?"
"Ja'Orre? Why?" Lincoln asked with curiosity.
"Oh, I just didn't really get a chance to talk to him during dinner." Phil quickly said as he scratched the back of his head. "Just want a quick chance to get to know him before I head off."
"Oh, ok." Lincoln said with a smile as he started heading back to the house. "I'll go get him for ya!"
"Thanks kid." Phil said with a small smirk. "I really appreciate it."
Once Lincoln was inside the house, Phil reached into his trunk once more and pulled out a small pistol-like weapon that was labeled in small white words 'Ecto-Disruptor.' Phil loaded the gun up just in time for the door to the Loud house to open up and for Ja'Orre, still in his disguise to come out and quickly float in front of Phil.
"Phil, baby! I heard from a little white birdy that you we're hoping to get to know the J man a litte?" Ja'Orre said in a movie star-like voice. "So what do you wanna know? My hobbies, my interest, my favorite actors, spoiler alert its Jack Black, my hopes and dreams, my past romances…actually lets skip that one."
"Hehe, all in good time my friend." Phil said with a chuckle, his right hand behind his back hiding the pistol he had. "First I just wanna ask you this one question? What's your opinion on…Ectonurites."
Ja'Orre froze in place as nervousness over took him. His single eye widened a bit as he anxiously looked around. "E-E-Ectonurites you say?" Ja'Orre said nervously as he fidgeted his hand around.
"Yeah." Phil said with a calm and casual tone. "Ya know, ghost looking, one eye, sharp claws, no legs. What do ya think of them. Just curious."
"W-W-Well…most of them can be quite mean…and intimidating…and just unpleasant to be around…" Ja'Orre admitted in a mix of a fearful and nervous tone as he described what a majority of people were like. "B-But some of them are really funny, cool, and would make great friends!"
"Ya don't say." Phil said with slightly narrowed eyes. "That's interesting to know. I guess I just asked you because I wanted to show you this." Phil then revealed the pistol from behind his back, aiming it right at Ja'Orre.
"Ooooooo! Weapons!" The naïve Ja'Orre said in fascination as he looked at the futuristic pistol. "What's it do?"
"This." Phil said as he pulled the trigger.
Suddenly a plasma bullet was shot out of the gun and hit Ja'Orre right in the chest. Suddenly, without even screaming, Ja'Orre entire body was enveloped in electricity, his disguise being blown off, and then he proceeded to fall down on the ground completely unconscious.
"The Ecto-Disruptor." Phil explained as he put the gun in his pocket. "Cancel's out an Ectonurites protoplasm and leaves them down for the count." Once Phil explained that, the old plumber grabbed Ja'Orre's wrist and tossed the Ectonurite inside his trunk. Phil knew that Ja'Orre would be out for awhile so it was safe to do this, and even if he did wake the gun would keep Ja'Orre from ghosting out for about 8 hours.
"Alright, time to make some dough and then see how Hector is doing." Phil told himself in a small victorious tone as he entered the driver's seat of his car and started driving away.
At Royal Woods castle, Forever Knight Guards were all hard at work patrolling the area and keeping watch for any potential intruders. Just then some of the guards at the front saw a car approaching the front gate and quickly ordered the vehicle to stop as well as aimed some weapons at it.
The car did as ordered and came to a halt with two guards approaching the vehicle that were standing guard in the front of the gate. "Alright, show yourself." The guard that came up to next to the driver's part of the car ordered. "Why have you come here?"
The guard then watched the window roll down showing Phil smirking at him. "Hey there, you the valet?" Phil asked in a joking tone. "I should warn ya, I'm a poor tipper."
"I shall ask you again." The guard said in a more threatening tone as he leaned his head down to Phil. "Why are you here? And I suggest your reason be good if you wish to continue living."
"Relax big guy, I'm here for Zed." Phil started explaining, not feeling threatened at all by the guard. "I have a special delivery for him, tell him the names Phil."
Phil watched as the guard took out a walkie talkie and spoke into it. "Professor Zed, we have a man outside saying he has something for you. His name is Phil." The Guard spoke to his superior."
"Send him in." Zed's voice responded immediately through the Walkie Talkie. "Open the underground entrance to the lab."
"Right away sir." The guard said before putting the walkie talkie away. He then sent a signal to the guard watching from one of the castle's towers, telling him to open up the gate. The watching guard responded immediately and started opening up the gate.
Once that was opened, suddenly the ground began to shift a bit as the area right in front of Phil's car opened up revealing an underground entrance he could drive his car through. "You may proceed." The guard told Phil.
"Aw, and to think we were starting to form a bond." Phil couldn't help but quip before driving forward and heading to the area beneath the castle of Royal Woods.
After about 5 minutes of quiet driving, Phil found himself in a large underground area. Lab equipment could be seen around the room with room to spare for his car to be right in the lab. He could even see the place where his 'special quest' would end up in the form of a large tube, most likely modified to trap Ectonurites and other species that can go intangible.
Once Phil put his car into park, he promptly stepped out just in time to see none other then Professor Zed with two other Forever Knight scientist approaching him. "I trust you brough the specimen." Zed asked in a bit of a threatening tone.
Phil simply smirked confidently at went to the trunk of his car and gave it a strong pat. "See for yourself."
Zed turned to the scientist at his left a nod, signaling him to open up the trunk. The scientist did as instructed and popped up the trunk allowing them all to see Phil's unwilling passenger. "Ugh….I hate hangovers." Ja'Orre groaned as he finally woke up and rubbed his head. "I knew I should have stopped at 6 shots but its just impossible to say no to Tim Allen…wait a second…I don't drink!" Ja'Orre then looked around in a panic and saw the 2 scientist, Zed, and Phil looking down on him. Ja'Orre's eye in particular went to Phil as the Ectonurite pointed at him. "You! You shot me!"
"So I look like Tim Allen aye?" Phil asked with a smirk as he rubbed his chin. "Not bad."
Zed simply rolled his eyes at the immature behavior and snapped his fingers. "Take him to the examination room." Both scientists once again did as Zed told as picked up Ja'Orre who could do little more than weakly struggle as they started carrying him away.
"No please! I'm to handsome and lovable to be dissected!" Ja'Orre cried out as the scientists carried him away through a door.
"Well, now that that's taken care of." Phil said as he dusted off his hands with a smirk. "I believe I'll just collect my toll and be on my way."
"Of course, your reward." Zed said in a professional tone as he turned his back to Phil and crossed his arms behind his back. "About that…"
"What was that?" Phil asked in a bit of a threatening tone. He swore if they didn't give him his pay he was going to-
"We could give you the amount we agreed…or maybe we could arrange something and give you twenty times what we originally agreed." Zed bargained as he turned his head to Phil.
"…I'm listening." Phil said with a renewed smirk.
"There's another quite valuable piece of alien tech in this town I've been trying to get my hands on for quite a while but every time I try to acquire it, I'm always stopped." Zed said with a growl as he remembered all his failed experience's trying to obtain the piece of tech he was referring to. "Here, I'll show you what it is."
Zed then pulled out a remote and aimed it at a nearby monitor with Phil's eyes following where Zed was aiming the remote and watched as it showed the piece of tech Zed was referring to…
The Omnitrix.
"What…wait…" Phil said with a surprised gasp and widened eyes.
"Ah, so you know what this is then." Zed said as he pressed a button the remote and proceeded to show a picture of Lincoln with the Omnitrix exposed on his wrist as well as several pictures of Lincoln's alien forms showing the Omnitrix symbol. "Currently the Omnitrix has latched onto a boy named Lincoln Loud. He's been using such an advanced piece of tech to simply play super hero. He's been a rather nasty thorn at my side for quite a while. I want you to subdue him, bring him to me so I can remove the Omnitrix from him."
Phil was feeling extremely conflicted right now. Sure, Zed was offering tons of money for this…but this was the grandson of his best pal and old Plumber partners grandson. Not only that, but he sorta formed a small connection with Lincoln earlier tonight. Even giving him his old Plumber Badge. Lincoln was a good kid that could go far with the Omnitrix, probably one of the best earthlings that could have ended up with it.
And he was no stranger about what Zed did. He was kicked out of the Plumbers for a reason and with the Forever Knights, he was probably doing worse stuff. Phil couldn't even imagine what Zed would do if he had the Omnitrix.
And…he couldn't bear the thought of Lincoln, and possibly even Albert being subjected to Zed's insane experience.
So, after a few moments of mental debate, Phil made his decision.
"No." The old Plumber said firmly.
Zed eyes widened in surprise as he snapped his head towards Phil. "What?" Zed let out, rather shocked that Phil turned this down.
"Look Zed, I appreciate the offer, but I'm kinda tired and just wanna move on." Phil explained to Zed, not revealing that he knew Lincoln. However, he suspected that Zed had a good idea that he may know Lincoln. Zed was smart and probably knew that Lincoln was Alberts grandson and Zed did know that he and Albert were both best friends and partners back in the day. "So, I'll just take my price for getting the Ectonurite and leave, I'm sure you have plenty of other guys that can take care of your business. I just have to get a move on."
Phil then turned around and started walking towards his car, ready to leave and not be apart of any business involving capturing Lincoln. However, as Phil was walking away he suddenly felt his neck being grabbed, with a nerve being pinched preventing him from moving. "Wh-What…What are you doing…" Phil managed to grunt out.
"Perhaps I wasn't being clear enough." Zed said from right behind Phil in a dark and threatening tone. Just then Phil felt something snap around his neck and looked to see some sort of collar was place on him with a small silver orb with a timer on it seen on the front. Zed then let go of Phil allowing the old plumber to move and cough.
Zed then aimed the remote right at Phil and pressed a button. Just then the timer on the collar blinked to life as it was set to 24 hours. Then, with a beep, the timer started counting down one second at a time. "What…what is this? An explosive collar?!"
"Not quite…" Zed said with a small smirk on his face as he reached into his lab coat and pulled out something that made Phil freeze in fear.
Now in Zed's hand was a gun-like device that had a big muzzle with a big white half-sphere. "The…The Null Void Projector?!" Phil yelled as he starred at the device in Zed's hand. "How…How'd you get that?! I made sure to hide it!"
"A fool's mistake, thinking you could hide things from me." Zed told the old plumber as he kept a firm grip on the gun-like device. "I must say this device is fascinating. I never got my hands on one during my time in the Plumbers. But now that I was able to research it, even I was surprised by what it can do."
"An entire dimension discovered for the purpose of locking away the most dangerous villains in the Universe. I can make use with a device like this, much more so then you. What is it you've been doing with this again? Oh yes, releasing aliens into the world only to capture then to make a measly profit for yourself." Zed looked harshly into Phil's eyes, causing the old Plumber to look down with a bit of shame. "To think, you were high in the Plumber ranks along with Albert and Hector. Now you're reduced to a pitiful man, caring about nothing more then money without any care about the innocent lives that the aliens you unleash hurt."
"…Grrrrr…" Phil growled in response as Zed's words hit quite a few nerves. "Just tell me what the deal is with this damn collar already!"
"Think of it as a null void bomb." Zed revealed, causing Phil to freeze in shock. "Once that timer hits zero, its off to the Null Void with you."
"…" Phil was silently has his hands subconsciously went to the collar on his neck.
"Ah, ah, ah." Zed said with a sadistic smirk. "Try to forcibly remove it, and it'll go off. The only one that can keep it from activating is me."
"But…why?!" Phil demanded to know.
"Think of it as an ultimatum." Zed started explaining as he started pacing around Phil. "You will bring me Lincoln Loud and the Omnitrix within 24 hours. Bring him to me, and I'll deactivate the collar. Fail, well, I'm sure you'll know what'll happen."
Phil could only sweat nervously as he looked down, realizing his very limited options.
The next day, Lincoln could be seen walking through the streets of Royal Woods. Once dinner was over last night, most of the Loud family, including Lincoln, decided to head to bed. Dinner had dragged out rather late due to Phil's visit and them telling stories. All worth it, but it left most of the family rather tired, so once Lincoln told Ja'Orre that Phil wanted to see him, Clyde went home shortly after and Lincoln went to bed.
But speaking of Ja'Orre, he was currently the reason Lincoln was outside. No one had seen him since last night. They all knew that the ghost-like alien had decided to live downstairs in the boiler of all things, but when Lincoln went to give Ja'Orre his first good morning as a member of the Loud House, he wasn't there.
Even after looking around, and asking everyone else in the house, Ja'Orre still could not be found. Thinking that Ja'Orre probably spotted something shiny or simply saw something that interested him, Lincoln quickly set out towards the streets trying to find where the Ectonurite might have ended up.
"Ja'Orre! Ja'Orre where are you?!" Lincoln called out as he cupped his hands over his mouth. "Come out, come out wherever you are! I'll show you what social media is! You'd kill on twitter!"
"I got you~"
Suddenly Lincoln gasped as he was lifted right off his feet by a pair of strong arms that wrapped around his torso. Lincoln looked back and soon smiled and blushed and saw that the person holding him was none other then his girlfriend Wendy. "Hi Linky!" Wendy greeted her boyfriend with a wide smile before delivering a kiss to his cheek.
"Hehe, hey Wendy." Lincoln greeted his girlfriend back with a blush and smile on his face. After a few more moments of carrying the white head, she set him down and brushed her silver hair back a bit as Lincoln spoke up again. "So how are you doing?"
"Great! I went over to your house to surprise you with a visit, but I saw you weren't home and went off to look for you." Wendy explained to her boyfriend as she twirled some of her hair around a finger. "So what are you doing anyway?"
"Well…" Lincoln then went on to explain to Wendy what has happened since he and Beatrix found Ja'Orre in his crashed pod. From Ja'Orre's living arrangements, to Phil visiting, and his current search for the Ectonurite. "And that's pretty much everything."
"Hmmmm…" Wendy hummed in thought as she put a hand to her chin. "Maybe this Phil guy knows where he is."
"Ya think?" Lincoln asked as he looked up at her. "Maybe he saw where Ja'Orre ran off to, but he's probably out of town right now. He said he was gonna leave once he left. He just wanted to talk to me and Ja'Orre first so even if he did see where Ja'Orre went, I wouldn't have a way of asking him. Even if I went Fasttrack to catch up with him, I have no idea what direction he went in."
"Yeah…that's an issue." Wendy said as she tried to think of ways she could help her boyfriend find this Ja'Orre. "Well maybe look at some of the places you went yesterday. Maybe he went to one of those places again."
"Hey yeah, maybe!" Lincoln said with renewed enthusiasm. "He really liked the pizza at Gus's. Maybe he went there again to get some."
"Well then let's go look!" Wendy said as she suddenly picked up Lincoln bridal style and started running towards the arcade at full speed.
"Ah! Wendy!" Lincoln yelled as he clung on tightly to Wendy as she ran. "You don't have to carry me ya know!"
"I know." Wendy said as she gave him a sweet smile. "I just want to." This statement caused Lincoln to blush before simply smiling and holding on tight to Wendy, letting her do her thing.
Thanks to Wendy, it only took them about four minutes to reach Gus's Games and Grubs. Once they were there, Lincoln jumped out of Wendy's arms and the two proceeded to enter the arcade. The two of them quickly got to looking for Ja'Orre with Wendy looking around the arcade and Lincoln looking around the dining area.
However, after five minutes of searching, both of them met back up in the middle of the establishment. "Any luck?" Lincoln asked as he failed to find Ja'Orre.
"No, nothing." Wendy said sadly as they both looked down. Looks like it was back to the drawing board.
"Hey kids, didn't expect to see you two here!" Looking towards the source of the familiar voice and saw Albert coming into the establishment and approaching the kids with a smile. "How're you doing today?"
"Oh, hey pop-pop. We're just in a little bind right now." Lincoln told his pop-pop as he and Wendy looked up at the elderly man. "What are you doing here?"
"Ah, just felt like having some pizza today." Albert said with a chuckle as he patted his stomach. "So you can probably connect the dots from there." Just then Albert's eyes fell upon Wendy and the old man gained a smirk. "So, this is the girl I've heard about eh Lincoln? Haha, great job Linc! A chip off the ole block!"
"Pop-pop…" Lincoln grumbled with an embarrassed blush on his face with Wendy covering her face with her hair. "Come on…"
"Haha, sorry sport. Couldn't resist." Albert chuckled again as he patted Lincoln on the shoulder a few times. "So, what seems to be the problem? You two said you were in a bind right?"
"Yeah, we're looking for Ja'Orre." Wendy informed Albert as he nodded. The elderly man remembered Ja'Orre from dinner last night and thought the fellow was quite funny and friendly. He did hear from his daughter that Ja'Orre was an Ectonurite which did make Albert a little tense at first seeing as how Ectonurites usually are, but after interacting with Ja'Orre a bit, he realized that there was nothing to fear about the ghost alien. "Lincoln can't seem to find him and no luck here. Last person who saw him was Phil."
"Huh, weird." Albert said as he put a hand to his chin. "Well, I have Phil's number. Maybe I could give him a call and ask him."
"No need gang."
Suddenly Lincoln and Albert's eyes widen as they heard the voice with Wendy simply raising an eyebrow at their reactions before they all turned to the entrance of the arcade and saw none other then the man himself Phil standing before them with his usual smirk on his face.
"…Ok just gonna go on a limb here and assume this is Phil." Wendy assumed as Lincoln and Albert smiled widely at the old Plumber. "Ok, starting to detect a pattern where the person we're talking just suddenly shows up."
"Its just plot convivence who cares." Lincoln said quickly with Wendy not understanding what Lincoln said as they all walked up to Phil. "So how'd you find us Phil? And I thought you were gonna be out of town."
"To answer that first question, I found ya with that little badge I gave ya yesterday." Phil told Lincoln as the Loud boy looked to his pocket where the Plumber Badge he got from Phil yesterday was. Lincoln decided to keep the badge around him at all time as a good luck charm. "Plumbers can use our badges to track each other so we always know where we are in case we have to split up."
Phil then tensed up as he had to answer the second question. He knew why he was still here…and he didn't like it. He had only a little under 12 hours left on the collar he was hiding with the jacket he was wearing. He knew what he was going to do…and he hated himself for it. "As for the why…well…I was actually hoping to ask your help with something."
"What is it Phil?" Albert asked his old partner. "You can ask me anything."
"Same here!" Lincoln immediately said afterwards. "We Plumbers gotta stick together right?"
"Y-Yeah…" Phil said as he struggled to keep his smile on his face. "Plumbers…"
"You can count on me to help to!" Wendy told the old Plumber with a raised fist and wide smile. "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Wendy Yoroi. Lincoln's girlfriend!"
"Girlfriend?" Phil asked with a raised brow before giving Lincoln a proud smile, temporally forgetting what he was doing and why he was doing it. "Well, way to go kid! You got a good one!"
"Oh not you to…" Lincoln grumbled similar to earlier with his pop-pop with Wendy once again hiding behind her hair.
"Er, anyway." Phil said, getting things back on track. "I need your guy's help in taking care of alien I tracked down in the woods nearby. Real tough guy."
"Our specialty!" Albert said as he punched his fist into his open palm.
"Oh, uh, before that could I ask you something Phil?" Lincoln spoke up as Phil turned his head to Lincoln. "Do you know what happened to Ja'Orre?"
"O-Oh…uh…" Phil had to think quickly about this. He couldn't tell them about the truth about what he did with Ja'Orre. Besides, they would end up finding out soon anyway. "Oh! Well, after I talked to him for a few minutes, he said he spotted something…cute and fluffy and chased after it."
"Ah dang it." Lincoln quickly said in response. "He must have chased a squirrel somewhere. Honestly can see it happening."
"Well, at least we know he didn't get himself into trouble…hopefully." Wendy said with a sheepish smile on her face.
"Hehehe, yep…" Phil nervously laughed, trying to hide it from everyone. "Anyway, I'll help ya guys find him after you help me out."
"Sure! We're happy to help!" Wendy said as the two male white-heads nodded in agreement.
"…Thanks." Phil muttered quietly as he led everyone outside to where his car was parked.
"Hey Phil, you ok?" Albert asked as the kids stepped into the back seat of the car while Phil got in the driver's seat with Albert going in the passenger's seat. "You seem a little off."
"…" Phil was silent, his head lowered. He just couldn't find the proper response. All he did was simply reached into his pocket and pulled out a disk-like device. Placing the device over his mouth, it suddenly transformed into a breath mask that went over Phil's mouth and noise.
Everyone rose a brow at what Phil did and simply watched as the old Plumber pressed a button on the dashboard of his car. Suddenly a pink gas filled the car and its effects hit the three others in the car almost instantly as they were quickly knocked out.
"…I'm sorry…"
"Come on Lincoln, pick up." Leni said as she was quickly inside her and Lori's room with her phone to her ear and a worried expression on her face. She's been trying for the last 15 minutes to call her brother and see how the Ja'Orre situation has been going. But each and every call has gone to voice mail and she was started to get really worried. She even sent him a few texts and he hasn't answered those as well. "Whats going on?"
"Something wrong Leni?" Entering the room was the sister Leni shared it with. Leni turned around and saw Lori walk up to her as she placed her purse on Leni's bed.
"Yeah, Lincoln hasn't answered back in a while. I'm starting to get really worried." Leni explained to her older sister as she sat down on her bed. "I know he can take care of himself but still…"
"Yeah I literally know how ya feel." Lori sighed as she remembered not to long ago when she had her own…protective phase over Lincoln. And it ended with someone getting shot in the leg. But on the bright side she heard that person made a full recovery and she and Lincoln made up and bonded. "Do you have a way of finding out where he is? Like tracking his phone or something?"
"No, I don't think I can…wait…tracking." Suddenly that word clicked in Leni's mind when suddenly she smiled widely and stood up quickly. "That's it!" Lori then watched as Leni quickly went over to her drawers and started digging through them.
"What are you looking for?" Lori asked as she walked next to Leni.
"Come on…come on…its gotta be here some-AH-HA!" Leni then pulled out a small, rectangular device from inside her drawer. It looked familiar to Lori, like it was something that Lisa had made.
"Wait…is that…" Lori began asking as the device started to look more and more familiar the more Lori looked over it.
"Hehe, yeeeeeeah." Leni confirmed sheepishly. "It's the tracking device for the chips Lisa put in us. I asked her to make me a copy just in case a situation like this occurred. I forgot about it until now."
"Well then let's see what it says." Lori said with a smile as both of them looked at the tracking device as Leni turned it on. And the location it showed Lincoln was at…
Royal Woods Castle…
"Ah dang it." Both teenagers said in unison.
"Alright, he's gonna need back up." Lori said as they both started to head out the door with Leni pulling some keys out of her pocket.
"We'll take my car, its faster." Leni said as the two oldest Loud sisters left the room.
"Ooooowww…my head…" Wendy groaned as she started to open her eyes. She was still feeling a bit dizzy, and the area around her was dark so she was having a hard time getting her bearing and adjusting her eyes.
"Wendy? Is that you?" Suddenly Wendy's head snapped up as she did manage to collect herself a little as she started looking around for the source of the familiar voice. "I'm over here, behind ya."
Wendy looked behind hey and, despite the dark and dim lighting of where they were, Wendy's eyes were able to see the person behind her was Albert. "Mr. Baxter!" Wendy called out as she managed to stand back up and go over to the room who was sitting in front of the wall in the back of the room they were in. "What happened?!"
"Not sure, the last thing I remember we were getting into Phil's car." Albert said in thought as he crossed his arms and looked up. "Then we woke up and we're in prison." Sure enough, Wendy looked forward and saw the front of the room they were in consisted of bars showing they were in a cell.
"Oh…well…looks like our mission to find Ja'Orre quickly took a dive south." Wendy sighed out as she went over to the bars and tried her best to look out of them and see more of where they were. All she saw were more empty cells and a stone hallway. However, just then the silver haired girl gasped as she quickly realized something. "Wait! Where's Lincoln?!"
Albert soon gasped as he quickly stood up. The elderly man then ran to the bars next to Wendy as both of them did their best to look at the cells visible to them. "Lincoln!" Albert called out. "Where are you?!"
"Oh don't worry about him. He's not even here at the moment." Just then Wendy and Albert felt chills go down their spine at the familiar voice. Suddenly a device attached to the ceiling lit up as Wendy and Albert watched as the device projected down a hologram of Professor Zed himself.
"Zed!" Albert growled through his teeth as both he and Wendy glared hard at the hologram.
"What did you do with Lincoln?!" Wendy demanded to know as she started to try and bend the bars.
"Don't bother. Not even a Tetramand could escape those bars." Zed informed the Japanese girl as she continued to try and break the bars. "As for the boy, he's with me right now. I'm about to get started on removing the Omnitrix from his wrist. Oh, and that little ghost friend of yours is here as well."
"Ja'Orre!" Albert and Wendy yelled out in unison.
"And you can thank your little friend for aiding me in the capture of him and all of you." Zed informed the two of them making them raise their brows. "Phil."
"What?" Albert gasped before he banged against the bars. "You're lying! Phil would never do that!"
"Well believe what you wanna believe." Zed simply shrugged before he turned his back to them. "I'm far to busy to explain the details anyway. Just now that the most powerful piece of technology that will help me put an end to aliens all over the universe."
"NO!" Wendy and Albert yelled as the hologram of Zed disappeared.
Albert then started frantically look around the cell they were in, looking for anything they could possibly use to break out or escape. "Come on Wendy! There's gotta be some crack, or something we can use to get out of here." However, Albert didn't get a response. "Wendy?"
Looking, Albert flinched when he saw Wendy gripping the bars tightly. The elderly man was even more surprised to see that cracks were forming on the bars and Wendy had a looking nothing short of completely pissed off on her face. "Son of a…masked…asshole! DON'T YOU TOUCH MY LINCOLN!" Suddenly Albert as blown to the nearby wall as a bronze aura exploded around and covered Wendy as the Japanese girl's eyes turned from blue to red.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Wendy let out an enraged screamed as she proceeded to tear the Tetramand proof bars right off and throw them forward, destroying the wall in front of them and making it collapse. "COME ON!" Wendy ordered as she snapped her head towards Albert.
"…Yes ma'am." Albert quickly said as he started following Wendy, not chancing making the girl angrier and stronger than she already was.
The two then headed towards the door at the end of the hallway. Instead of simply opening the door, Wendy opted to punched down the door and send it flying. "Kinda overboard don't you think?" Albert nervously asked as Wendy stomped forward, cracking the ground with every step.
"NO TIME!" Wendy snapped as she ran forward.
And so the two simply pushed forward, bust down every door in their way on their way to the basement where they knew the lab was. Guards tried to stop them…but then were on the receiving end of bronze glowing angry Wendy and would probably be feeling their injuries for the next month.
Speaking of guards, the two were drawing closer to their destination as they had went down a long flight of stairs that led to a humorously long hallway with a single door at the end of it with two guards waiting their and immediately aiming their guns at them. "Halt! Stay right there!" The first guard ordered.
"WHAT?!" Wendy snapped, her red eyes and bronze aura still with her. "YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME?!"
Both guards were about to shoot at the two, but suddenly two other blast were shot from behind Wendy and Albert and hit the two guards on the chest sending them back and landing on the ground back first and knocked out.
"What the…" Albert said in surprised with Wendy, despite the state she was in, sharing a surprised look with Albert.
"Heh, nice shot sis." Looking back, Wendy and Albert saw that behind them were none other then Lori and Leni each of which holding a blaster.
"Thanks." Leni response to Lori with a smirk.
"Girls?!" Albert said as he rushed over to his granddaughters and gave them each a quick hug. "How'd you find us? And when did you get those weapons?"
"To answer the first question, we used the tracking device Lisa put inside Lincoln." Leni informed her pop-pop as she slung the high-tech gun over her shoulder. "We snuck in and followed the pile of bodies I'm guessing Wendy left."
"Got that right." Wendy said as she crossed her arms.
"As for the second question, we literally just picked them up from some of the guards that were knocked out." Lori explained as she looked at the two in front of her. "You know, this place just gets easier to sneak into the more we do it."
"Alright ladies enough gossip." Wendy told everyone as she turned around to look at the door at the end of the hallway. "We have to save Lincoln and Ja'Orre!"
"Lets just focus on Lincoln and see how it goes." Lori said as Leni lightly nudged Lori's shoulder in response along with a light glare.
The group of four then reached the door at the end of the wall. It was password protected, but the only password Wendy needed was punched the door until it breaks. Unlike the previous ones she's destroyed, this door took a few hits to bust down.
From inside the room, it was shown to be the same underground lab Phil had driven to yesterday. Zed was inside hard at his sadistic work. Also, in the room were three others. The first was Ja'Orre who was sitting down sadly inside the tube that was seen yesterday made of a special material that kept him from phasing out of it.
The second was Lincoln who was strapped to a lab table meant for removing the Omnitrix from him. At least this point, Lincoln couldn't count the amount of times he was strapped to a table like this.
However, the last in the room was none other then Phil who was standing off to the side. A look of shame on his face as he looked down. The collar was still on him, but the timer has been deactivated, but it didn't make him feel any better about this.
"I can't believe you." Lincoln said with a betrayed look as he glared at the old plumber. "You and pop-pop were some of the greatest plumbers around…and now you're doing this."
"…" Phil was completely silent.
"Oh be quiet boy. It doesn't matter anymore." Zed told Lincoln has he worked away on the console next to the table Lincoln was on. "Once I have that watch of yours it won't matter anyway. So why even-"
BANG!
BANG!
"…Did you guys here that?" Ja'Orre asked as everyone stopped when they heard the loud banging sound.
BANG!
BANG!
"Oh no…" Zed groaned as he pinched the bridge of his nose in annoyance as large dents started appearing on the door.
"Oh yes!" Lincoln cheered with a grin as he knew that his rescue had arrived.
As more and more dent appeared on the door, Phil spotted something from the corner of his eyes. A rusty pipe that was just sitting on the floor. While Zed was distracted, Phil walked backwards towards the pipe and picked it up.
BANG!
Finally the door came flying off of its frame and crashed into the wall with Wendy, Albert, Lori, and Leni stepped into the room. "The calvaries here!" Wendy yelled as she slammed her foot on the ground and creating a mini earthquake.
"Phil…no…" Albert said sadly as he saw Phil right behind Zed. With Phil here and right next to Zed, that could only mean one thing. "It's true…"
"God damn this all to hell." Zed growled through his teeth as he slammed his fist down on the console. "Can't those worthless guards do anything ri-"
BANG!
Suddenly, surprising everyone, Phil swung the pipe he had just grabbed against the back of Zed's head and sent the scientist to the floor and even his mask being knocked off. Before anyone could respond, Phil quickly flipped a switch on the console and suddenly Lincoln was freed from the table he was strapped onto. "What the-" Lincoln let out in confusion.
"No talk time! Deal with the problem now!" Phil said as he kicked Zed and sent the mad scientist away from the console before turning to the group of four that just came in. "Leni, Lori, go free the ghost. Wendy, and Albert, with me. We're taking care of Zed once and for all!"
Leni, Lori, Albert, and Wendy looked over each other for a moment before nodding with the two eldest Loud sisters heading over to where Ja'Orre was being kept with Wendy and Albert heading over to Lincoln and Phil.
"Glad to see you're safe." Wendy told her boyfriend with a smile.
"And glad to see that you're…" Lincoln then took a moment to look over Wendy and her shining bronze aura that covered her body and those fiery red eyes. "…Wow…"
"Phil…" Albert started as he gave his old partner a look that showed he wasn't happy.
"Ok, before you saying anything, yes, I've been a completely scumbag for the past few decades." Phil quickly said, cutting off Albert. "Look, I'll fill you in on everything later, and you're free to yell and punch me as much as you want later, but right now let's focus on the task at hand."
"…Alright." Albert agreed with a nod.
"You…You…" Zed said as he started to get off. With his mask off, everyone got a clear view oh his horribly scared face along with the incredibly pissed look he had. "I've had enough of all of you getting in my way and stopping my plans! I'm ending this now!"
Zed then grabbed a remote from his lab coat and aimed it at the wall behind him and pressed a button. Suddenly, the wall split apart and revealing a room that couldn't have the inside of it be seen due to how dark it was. However, suddenly what looked like two glowing eyes could be seen coming from inside.
Lincoln, Wendy, Albert, and Phil got ready as loud metallic footsteps were heard and out from the room came a large metallic tiger-like machine with razor sharp teeth and claws, a needle on the end of its tail, as well as many other sharp weapons attached to it and what looked like a nozzle inside its mouth. "Attack!" Zed ordered as the Robo-Tiger let out a robotic roar and charged at the group.
"PLEASE! GET ME OUTTA HERE!" Ja'Orre said as he banged on the class of his tube.
"Just shut up and we'll try!" Lori said with irritation in her voice as she tried to figure out the release button for this thing. "Seriously, we could have just saved Lincoln but nooooo had to save you aw well."
"Aw, you do care." Ja'Orre said to Lori with his eye sparkling.
"Lori! Not the time!" Leni said as she decided to just screw it and started hitting random buttons. "Ok, one of these buttons has got to open it up!"
"How about that one that says open." Ja'Orre pointed out as he pointed to a button on the side of the console that said 'OPEN.'
"…Shut up…" Both Loud sisters said in unison.
"YOU WANNA COME AT ME! THEN COME ON STOP PULLING YOUR PUNCHES!" Wendy yelled as she pushed back the Robo-Tiger as it tried to slash at Wendy. Wendy was still powered up and still had adrenaline going through her body. So needless to say, she was wanting nothing more then to turn this robot to scrap.
However, so far this seemed to be easier said then done. Whatever metal this robo-tiger was made of seemed to be much stronger than the bars from the cells or any of the doors she busted down.
Meanwhile Lincoln was sitting back at first and was gonna let his girlfriend do her thing and smash the machine apart, but now it seems things were even and it was time to step in. "Alright, who to choose…" Lincoln hummed to himself as he went through his list of aliens. Upgrade was a first choice but knowing Zed he probably made the robot immune to that aliens' abilities.
Speaking of Zed, the mad scientist was currently engaged in hand to hand combat with both Phil and Albert as the latter two tried to take Zed's remote in order to turn off his robot and leave him defenseless. "Give it up Zed!" Albert said as Zed ducked under one of his right hooks as well as dodging a kick from Phil.
"Its two vs one!" Phil followed up.
"Numbers doesn't matter when facing a strong opponent!" Zed said as he landed a bunch on Phil's gut and then palmed Albert in the face.
"Alright, NRG it is!" Lincoln said as he chose the radioactive Alien to deal with the robo-tiger that Wendy was currently trying to stab with its own tail while clinging onto its back like a mechanical bull. "Its hero time!"
Lincoln then slammed down the core of the alien device and was enveloped in a bright green glow. But instead of turning into NRG, Lincoln began transforming into something entirely new.
Lincoln's body quickly started growing taller and bulking up, his body started to get cover in fur as a giant black claw extended out of each of his hands.
'Oh this is gonna be something.'
"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!" Gaining everyones attention, including the now freed Ja'Orre who was hiding behind a console along with Lori and Leni, was an animal-like roar that shook that room they were in.
Standing where Lincoln was, was a nine-feet bipedal tiger-like creature with white fur covering his chest, along with the Omnitrix symbol being on the middle of his chest, as well as his feet and hands, chin, and jaw, with orange fur covering everything else with black stripes on his shoulders, head, legs and upper body. He also had green eyes and two visible canine teeth on the lower half of his jaw.
"ALRIGHT!" The transformed Lincoln said with a loud and boisterous voice. "Let me tell ya something robot tiger created by Professor Zed! Rath's about to show you just who's the top cat around here!"
'Rath? Did you just come up with that right now?'
"Let me tell ya something Ra'ad, Amperi that lives inside Rath's head!" The alien now known as Rath loudly said as he pointed to his head. "Rath can call himself whatever he wants!"
'Ok, fine. Geez, staying outta this one.'
"Good!" Rath said as he cracked his knuckles.
"Whats…going on?" Wendy asked as she awkwardly looked around.
"Might wanna invest in some anger management buddy!" Ja'Orre yelled from across the room.
"Oh dear God its an Appoplexian." Zed sighed out in irritation. "The dumbest species in the galaxy. They think all problems can be solved by punching."
"Not true! Sometimes you have to punch things a lot!" Rath said as he glared hard at the robot tiger. "Move Wendy! Its Raths turn!"
"…Yeah ok." Wendy said as suddenly her bronze aura disappeared and her eyes went back to blue as she jumped away from the robo-tiger. The robo-tiger was about to let out a roar but was suddenly cut off as Rath was suddenly in front of it faster than the eye could track and delivered a strong right hook to the robot and sending it back along with finally make a dent on the robot.
"Grrrrr, stop stalling and kill him already!" Zed yelled to his creation as the robo-tiger got up with his cheek dented and cracked as well as sparking a bit.
"What? You wanna piece of Rath? Then you got a piece!" Rath said as he pounded his chest. "But you just bit of an eye bigger than your stomach can chew!"
…
…
"…That doesn't make any sense!" Lori yelled from the sidelines.
"Grrr, I know!" Rath yelled as he charged at the robo-tiger and-
ROOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAR!
Suddenly the robo-tiger opened its mouth wide and used the nozzle inside its mouth to shot a stream of flames right at Rath. Everyone watched as the flames swallowed up the Appoplexian and all but Zed gave a worried look, afraid that Rath may have been turn into an over cooked tiger.
However, the worry faded as soon as the flames disappeared and showed Rath completely fine other then some lightly charred fur. "Is that you got? Is that all you got?!" Rath roared as he stomped his foot on the ground. "Rath's felt ice cubes hotter than that!" The tiger-like alien then cracked his neck and gave a mad grin at the robot. "Now let Rath show you how its done!"
Rath then let out a war cry as he charged at the robo-tiger. The robot was about to retaliate by swinging its claws at Rath, but Rath easily caught it and then raised up his free hand and extended the claw on his wrist and proceeded to slash off the robo-tigers claw. "Let Rath show ya how a real tiger fights!" Rath then proceeded to impale the robo-tiger through its middle and then proceeded to raise the claw all the way up to the robo-tigers head and cutting the front of the robo-tiger then half.
To finish it off, Rath completely sliced off the robo-tigers head off and then kicked the rest of the body away. However, instead of celebrating the victory, Rath simply stopped around impatiently. "Ah! That was hardly a warm up! Rath wants a bigger challenge!"
'Seriously? You're literally asking for more?'
"Deep breaths Lincoln! Deep breathes!" Ja'Orre yelled.
"Let me tell ya something Ja'Orre, ghost that lives in our basement…shut up!" Rath yelled back.
"K!"
Zed was beyond angry. Even he had lost count of how many times this has happened. Victory was right in his grasp and then taken right away from him. This was the last straw! He was going to-
"Hey Zed!" Suddenly, taking the mad scientist by surprise, was Phil who had come up from behind him and wrapped Zed in a full nelson while still using one hand to carry the rusty pipe from earlier.
"Phil?! What are you doing?!" Zed yelled as he struggled to escape Phil's grasp. "Let me go!"
"Sorry Zed…but consider this punishment for the both of us." Phil said grimily as he exposed the collar on his neck and proceeded to hold the pipe up to the silver orb on it. Zed's eyes widened in both fear and shock when-
BANG!
Phil slammed the pipe against it.
Suddenly the orb started sparking and rapidly beeping. Zed knew what was about to happen in just a few second and he had to get away fast. "NO! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE YOU IDIOT!" Zed said as he renewed his struggles.
"Rath doesn't understand what's happening! Someone explained!" Rath yelled as Lori, Leni, and Ja'Orre ran up to the rest of the group.
"Phil!" Albert yelled out to his friend in concerned.
"Don't worry old man I'll be alright…just…going somewhere that guys like me and Zed deserve to go to…" Phil said to Albert with the last few seconds he had on earth. "And if it's worth anything…"
"I'm sorry."
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Suddenly everyone was blinded as Phil and Zed were enveloped in a white sphere that shook the whole room.
Finally, after a few seconds, the shaking and glowing stopped. Everyone looked and silently gasped when they saw that both Phil and Zed were gone. Sent to the Null Void.
Albert had a look of shook on his face while Rath, Leni, Lori, Wendy, had agaped mouths with Ja'Orre's single eye being widened.
Everyone was silently and simply stared at the sight. Finally, Albert fell to his knees as a saddened look came to his face as he said one thing…
"Goodbye…best friend…"
Oh yeah! Feels great to work on this story again!
Alright, dealing with the elephant in the room, I changed Phil's character up a bit. I felt like he had more potential to him so I made it so that he still was that money and fame loving guy who released aliens only to capture them again for profit, but he still cared a lot about his fellow Plumbers and best friends. So I'm hoping to do more with him in the future.
Another note, about Clyde's ship, despite the poll I made, I'm actually not gonna ship him with either Haiku or Lynn. I'm sorry but after working on the Bakugan story where I'm gonna have him and Haiku together and thinking of lots of moments between the two of them with my best bud Petrus...it doesn't feel right having her and Clyde together anymore XD. So blame Bakugan for that. Clynn is a nice ship, but I have someone else in mind. You'll see em next chapter though so look forward to that.
One last note, I am gonna continue my hard work on this and my other stories, my main prioritys for awhile are gonna be my Fairy Tail Z story and my Bakugan story. But like I said, still gonna work hard on this and my other stories.
Alright, so with all of that said, remember to follow, fav, and leave a review and stay tuned for the next chapter...
