Alrain: Man, I am so late with updating but Necros had to do with it as he suddenly had a mental shutdown, the stress got to him and I had to be there for him since he didn't know what to do anymore. The life he is leading is stressful so he needed my support to get him back up, though I am a bit stressed myself and a bit unmotivated to write too, none of my favorite Fanfics that I am reading have updated so I am mad at that.

I know I am being a bit of a hypocrite here since I haven't updated for a while, and empty promises came with it but I have to work on some beginnings. The fanfiction that Necros was very hard with storylines I have to work with, the plot, backstories, and different things going on leaving me with plenty of work. And I still don't know if I should simply delete it and let this story be handled by someone who has a good grammar structure.

Kyuubi no Izuku: I truly don't know where to go with this fic.

Iron Deku and Halfa Izuku: Both will get a replacement for removing these stories hopefully I get an idea of how to make it pleasing.

Chapter 15: Part 2 of the Festivals.

Festival.

'There is a point of winning this all and to me, there are a lot of things I can acquire but also things I don't want to have,' thought Izuku as the next round was revealed and that was that the teams that got the most points were going to fight a one on one battle that was going to be randomly decided, he worried a bit about who he had to fight and the ones he had to look out for was Shouto and Katsuki. He did worry about the techniques they had but more about Denki and Tokoyami, the techniques Kirishima could come up with was just simply to make his skin harden even more or simply allow him to last longer in battle, Denki had a lot more motivation to train too and speed, strength, and technique was involved for him with little trouble...well, except for control since a few months could never grant full control.

Then there was Tokoyami who had long-range attacks and technique as Dark Shadow was strong but not that strong to be able to smash through his Emerald.

There is Katsuki and he knew him better than anyone that underneath that ferocious nature there was a talent, one that especially knew the strongest and weakest points of his Quirk, but his anger, hatred, and obsession was a weakness he could take advantage off any time but perhaps not so visibly, didn't want to ruin his career because that shit with you will be just as bad as the person itself. This was an action that made you even worse than the person but the saying was sometimes bullshit, some actions done in the past can never have that saying you are just as bad as the bully. He had done plenty of revenge as he had received some time ago that his talking with Ochako about his past with Katsuki was heard by the others, he wasn't liked well among his classmates nor did All Might approve of that behavior.

That was enough for him and stopped thinking about it when the first fights were announced who was going to fight who and he saw his name, he would be fighting Shinsou the boy who had declared war on his class.

Mina would be fighting Aoyama.

Tokoyami against Momo.

Kirishima against...Tetsutetsu who strangely reminded him of his red-haired friend and their Quirks are even similar, it was funny as even their pose was the same and their expressions almost matched, it made him crack up a smile that he barely contained from becoming a full grin. Denki and Tokoyami, however, were clamping their mouths shut with their hands, their shoulders shaking indicating they contained their laughter.

Denki would be fighting against Shiozaki and he didn't describe her Quirk since he knew everything about her being in the same club, but it did put him in a struggle who he should cheer on for.

Sero...was going to fight against Shouto making it clearly painful who was going to win the battle.

Iida was going to fight Hatsume and the final battle would be between Ochako and Katsuki, both battles would be unpredictable to him since he hasn't seen Ochako fight and he had seen Katsuki fight. As much as he disliked the thought of saying Katsuki would win he admitted the boy had far more experience, Ochako seemed to not have a lot of it but more leaning towards the career of a Rescue Heroine similar to 13 who is her favorite hero. Now Iida against Hatsume and his friend had definitely the advantage of the speed and quick thinking, but Hatsume was unpredictable and that was softly put in it and the gadgets she made seemed made for every situation.

"Seems like I will be fighting first," said Izuku but the moment he turned around he was faced with Ojiro who wanted to talk.

"Hey, Midoriya...can we talk in private?" asked Ojiro in a serious tone and face.

Battlefield.

"And with this, the next phase of the Ua Festival begins!" boomed the voice of Present Mic making the whole crowd in the stadium cheer like crazy, and out of each hallway, the contestant was walking at a dramatic slow pace and the eyes shining in the darkness with green and beige respectively. "He appears as a forest elf, with the elegance and expression to match with and the mysterious powers of his Quirk, Midoriya Izuku!"

A loud round of applause was given to Izuku which didn't help with his nerves that were already very stiff from being nervous, he has used to this attention and this many eyes aimed at him.

Forest Elf!? He didn't have long pointy ears and he certainly didn't look elegant nor did he look like it. (His own opinion.)

"And on the other side, the boy that appears as Eraserhead and mystery surrounding him-Ouch!" the cheer from the crowd died down for a moment and looked at the room where Present Mic was seen rubbing his ribs and Aizawa not having moved an inch from his seat, probably not the smartest thing you could say and double dumb move at Present Mic's part as he and Eraserhead are childhood friends so he should've seen this coming. "Uhm...the fight between Midoriya Izuku and Hitoshi Shinsou will now commence, move over to you Midnight...ouch!"

"Like you said let the fight commence!" announced Midnight the beginning of the fight.

'Remember what you were told by Ojiro and that is not to talk out loud or respond to him,' thinking back to the short and quick conversation about Ojiro's experience with Shinsou that was short.

"Midoriya...I want you to know that no matter how much Shinsou insults you don't reply to them with words, just make some expressions and nothing else!" said Ojiro to Izuku who listened intently to Ojiro and nodded to him to continue, it seemed Shinsou was the reason why Ojiro left the oppertunity to get to be known across Japan and get an internship. Ojiro simply threw it away out of a sense of honor and pride of thinking that he didn't truly deserve it which felt stupid to Izuku but he let Ojiro decide. "The moment I talked to him...everything went blank when I replied back to him,"

"The moment you talked to him everything went blank? Don't you remember anything at the last moment when you woke up like literally anything that can help me a bit more?" asked Izuku getting Ojiro to think and closed his eyes and took a thinking pose and then nodded.

"I don't know if it will truly help you...but the last seconds I seem to remember that I saw the entrance to the stadium...but I wasn't moving on my own accord and I tried to feel if I was doing anything," began Ojiro explaining his experience to Izuku. "I was aware of it as I didn't feel anything like I was floating around...I couldn't move so I tried and I couldn't,"

'Mind Control, his thoughts drifting like he is in a cloud and yet aware that he isn't in control...Ojiro is rather strong in his mind so no wonder he can tell it, but the activation sequence is to talk back,' thought Izuku but before he could explain to Ojiro what he was under control of the announcement of the 1st match began and strangely enough it was him.

"Hey, you are in the same class as that monkey right?" asked Shinsou immediately calling a glare on Izuku's face who didn't take it kindly but didn't respond back holding Ojiro's advice in his head, it was hard as he felt the tone similar to Katsuki's although calmer it wasn't any less taunting from the way Shinsou said it. Not responding Izuku summoned the Emerald in his hand and made it form into a gigantic floating claw ready to maul Shinsou, said boy felt not intimidated and continued taunting Izuku and Ojiro.

"That monkey was all about honor and that idiotic stuff, do you think a Hero should really do that against villains who won't play fair against you?" asked Shinsou and it still got no reaction out of Izuku and decided to go a bit deeper than that. "I guess UA must have made a mistake of placing him in Class 1-A since he doesn't have a strong Quirk as he is only has a tail!"

Izuku let a small low growl at that as anger was coming to him and while he may appear emotionless he was rather easy to get angry in some ways, especially if you insult people he cared a lot about as Ojiro and he may not be that close of friends but he encouraged him to keep going, that UA didn't pity him just because he has the tail and his thoughts of being a mascot. But those thoughts were overwritten as Shinsou showed a reaction to his growl and made Izuku immediately wary and dashed forward to attack him and launch him out...except the moment he was about to touch him his body completely froze up, his mind felt heavy and cloudy, he had as child wondered what it felt like being possessed by a demon.

Don't ask him, he was a very weird child at the time and now is painfully aware of it and no wonder he didn't make any friends with thoughts like that.

"Turn around and walk out of the arena for me," ordered Shinsou and Izuku nodded and turned around walking back while dragging the emerald claws across the ground, it tore rather easily through the concrete but it slowed down Izuku just a tiny bit.

Ojiro who had seen Izuku growl looked troubled that his fellow classmate was walking out of the ring willingly, is that what he looked like when he was under the control of Shinsou?

Dead eyes, no facial expression, not aware of what was hindering him, easily obeying Shinsou's ridiculous order, as well as that he didn't intend to stop.

Back with Izuku who was still walking his mind was furious that a mere growl got him in trouble and a small part of him was very impressed that a growl was all that was needed to put him under submission, but the question he wanted to be answered was how he was supposed to break himself out of the mind control as everything felt heavy. He had done mental training but now he felt like that hasn't been anything but a waste of time, his mind didn't feel any stronger not that he can compare since this is the 1st time getting mind-controlled nor can you gauge the strength of the mind.

Right now that wasn't what he was supposed to be thinking as now he had to find a way to get himself out of here!

"Midoriya is walking out of the arena! Will he waste all that he did to get here right now!?" shouted Present Mic.

At the boots both Katsuki and Shout were angry and confused and with the former a bit more vocal about it and the latter set it simply for glaring, everyone else in the class looked confused and worried why Izuku was willingly going to walk out of the ring.

"Midoriya! What the hell are you doing!"

"Will you let all your training go to waste!"

"Come on dude! Get your head straight!"

'I'm trying to!' growled Izuku mentally but he couldn't and he wanted to win no matter what!

He needed to be strong and had to be strong as he didn't want fear as that was the very thing that prevented him from saving his little sister Yanai Midoriya and his father Hiashi Midoriya, he hated being weak, he hated being fearful...he hated himself for not being strong enough by himself. The one who should be standing here was Yanai because if he had died then he would've not ruined his family, she was supposed to be here living her dream to become a Heroine with mom and dad cheering him on. And now he couldn't even win it for them so how more useless could he even get!

'Dad...Yanai...I'm sorry again!'

'That is not true,' spoke a familiar voice as a hand was placed on his shoulder but Izuku who was still under the control of Shinsou couldn't turn around to see who was holding him back, he didn't need to as he knew that voice all too well but it was different as this one sounded not like a haunting ghost. One that sounded the way his father talked to him whenever he cried, the moment he had heard it he was one step away from exiting the arena ring.

'That's right, lose for me right now-!'

A wall of Emerald Erupted in front of Izuku who blinked and leaned himself against the wall panting a little bit, he quickly noted that snapping out of Shinsou's mind control left him a bit tired and drained.

"HOW!? HOW WERE YOU ABLE TO SNAP OUT OF MY CONTROL!?" demanded Shinsou angrily.

"Midoriya stopped walking!" shouted Present Mic announcing that the fight was still going on making the crowd explode with a cheer that the fight was still going on.

'...Dad was here...I wish I could thank you Shinsou...but I came here to win for them and not for myself,' wiping the tears away from his cheeks which didn't go unnoticed by Shinsou who was stunned for a moment, but focused back that there was still a fight and saw Izuku rushing towards him intending to take him out.

"It must be great, huh, to have been gifted with such a great Quirk as you must have been praised by it for years! I don't have it that lucky that you are so blessed!" shouted Shinsou angrily as time slowed down for his opponent who took in every one of his words.

'You're only half true about everything, I have been blessed by my family and my friends...but not everything started out great nor did I want any praise of those adults,' he remembered it all of his childhood before the accident, before the loss of his family, before he gained his Quirk and changed himself. The cruel smiles of his fellow classmates who hadn't learned what cruelty was, trying to befriend him for easily holding his own against his former childhood friend, the beatings he got without him being unable to fight back or didn't. Tackling Shinsou head-on he planned to encase him in Emerald but before he could Shinsou prove to him that he wasn't done yet and punched him in the punch, it gave him a nosebleed and stunned him for a moment and was soon seized by his arms and pulled towards Shinsou who intended to push him out of the circle.

"Get out of the ring!" shouted Shinsou.

"No!" shouted Izuku showing a bit of emotion in his voice that wasn't anger.

Before Izuku got out of the ring he did the same to Shinsou by seizing him by his arms but instead of performing the same thing he dragged him over his shoulder and threw Shinsou off himself launching him out of the ring and declaring the match.

"Hitoshi Shinsou is out of the ring! Midoriya Izuku is the winner!" shouted Midnight clacking her whip in the air into Izuku's direction declaring him officially the winner of the Match.

The crowd exploded with cheer again as Izuku and Shinsou both showed an interesting and good fight and both of them showing experience in martial arts.

"Hey, Shinsou, it was a great fight and good use of your Quirk!" complimented Izuku offering hi a hand to the slightly stunned Shinsou who had to ask again if he didn't hear a misspeaking. No one ever told him that his Quirk was great nor was he ever been praised for it by his fellow peers except for his mom, now he met someone who found his quirk to be amazing?

"Perhaps for you...everyone else would think it is creepy," muttered Shinsou bitterly yet happy that someone found his Quirk not to be creepy.

"I'd have to disagree with that, it seems your classmates don't think the same," said Izuku pulling Shinsou up and pushing him into the direction of Shinsou's classmates who showed positive reactions to his Quirk and performance.

"Dude! Why did you hide the ability of your Quirk, that was awesome!" complimented one of Shinsou's classmates.

"A-Awesome?" muttered Shinsou as his eyes went wide open.

"Yeah! Even the Pro Heroes are talking about you!" said another one of his classmate pointing to some heroes who were discussing and praising Shinsou for having a useful Quirk, some said they envied it a bit, while others found that placing him in the B-Class that UA must have done some sloppy work. Shinsou's expression turned into a small smile as he finally found some people who found him not to be creepy because of his Quirk, the Pro Heroes envied him a bit and praised him, his classmates were positive about him and told him he had done a good job.

"...Midoriya...you've beaten me and keep it like that," said Shinsou instead of muttering and turned to Izuku showing his small smile but in that smile contained a great appreciation and respect to Izuku.

"I should be thanking you...thanks to you I was able to realize something myself," replied Izuku with a smile of his won that also showed appreciation and respect back, Shinsou was a bit confused how his Quirk helped him but the Emerald Wall came up and decided that there must have been something that happened which he didn't see.

"You better win this...of all people I already see that you are already a hero," said Shinsou and turned around and the crowd cheered for both of them showing good sportsmanship to each other.

Up in the boots, Class 1-A showed signs of relief that Izuku had won and not lost with Ojiro especially.

"That Shinsou guy was right about it all," commented Denki.

"Yeah! Great use of his Quirk!" added Kirishima.

"But above all...accepted like the rest of us," smiled Tokoyami.

"But that doesn't mean we will hold back, we will fight with all we've got too!" and this time it was said by the 3 of them promising not to hold back if they faced each other.

Katsuki scoffed not much changed there while Todoroki felt a bit relieved that Izuku was not out of the boundaries, he still needed to beat him to prove himself against his father and that he didn't need his fire-side.

"Ugh! I didn't expect it to be that draining!" groaned Izuku gulping down a bottle of water as Shinsou's mind control was stronger than he thought, he had been hit with another wave of sleepiness and focused himself to stay awake.

He was quiet for a moment before groaning to himself as he stared at the white walls of the room as he reminded himself again of the fight with Shinsou, he felt a difference now as his shoulders felt less heavy but something else bothered him a lot that there was weight added to his shoulder again.

Where was Katsumi?

Where did she go and when did she leave and how was it that he didn't notice anything at all, he knew of er living conditions and he couldn't just ask anyone for help especially the pro heroes, Aizawa and All Might maybe but Katsumi's family was stable but never used to be like that as Katsui told him that her father was...a villain. It leaked a bit out and they were ostracized for it and Katsumi especially paid the price for it as she never got to live the life of an ordinary girl.

They're just so many questions for him now!

Where was Katsumi?

Who is the one trying to kill him?

And more importantly why did the one trying to kill him give such an obnoxious feeling?

Standing up he didn't want to think of too many subjects at the time as he knew the first thing he should be thinking of how to find Katsumi, he knew where she lives and that is the place where he was going to head once the Festival was over. Leaving the room he wasn't in a hurry to see the next match that was between Sero and Shouto having a gut feeling that the former didn't stand a single chance, Sero would understand that the hard way that he never stood a chance at all as Shouto's powers were too overwhelming.

He had the standard idea of what Sero's standard movements and attacks are as his tape is quite tough it will be pretty much evasion, restriction, and speed, the only option he was given was Restriction of the Enemy and that was already weakness as Shouto's powers aren't limited by the area as he produces them himself so Sero wasn't going to have any chance even as harsh as it sounded.

He would've arrived a bit faster if that wasn't for the person coming around the corner easily towering above him, and Izuku instantly recognized which wasn't hard as the Pro Hero he stumbled on was Endeavor with fire all over him.

"Endeavor..." breathed Izuku out as the NUmber 2 Hero looked far more amazing then on TV.

"Hm, it is you, Midoriya Izuku," muttered Endeavor out but if you called if muttering as Izuku heard it then it was his version of muttering. "So you are the one with the power that is similar to my son...I must say that you will be a great opponent against him with your techniques,"

"You are Shouto's father...are you the reason why he is so emotionless?" asked Izuku though he knew it was unnecessary to ask seeing the air that Endeavor gave and the way he talked, he didn't care much about his son but more about him using his Quirk as he made it clear in his sentence of him being a good opponent. He wanted him to be the one that pushed Shouto to use his flames to win against him, forcing him to use his flames that Shouto hated which Izuku understood as the moment he looked at Endeavor and spend time around his presence he didn't like him.

"Hmph, he will come around once he has gone through the puberty stage," scoffed Endeavor and walked past him.

"...You call it puberty...but I see that it is hatred and there is something else you should know," said Izuku making Endeavor stop and look over his shoulder at Izuku who had his head turned around to look over his shoulder. "Shouto isn't like you,"

Endeavor narrowed his eyes at that and Izuku did the same and turned around and walked back to the arena, but then a booming noise came and the place shook a little startling Izuku while Endeavor wasn't as he seemed to know what has been going on.

The moment Izuku came back he was met with a huge shadow and looked up to see a giant form of ice above him and covering a lot of the stadium, and in the arena, Sero was standing in the opposite against Shouto who looked especially pissed off was frozen stuck in the ice with his upper body sticking out. Midnight-sensei was also not spared of the freezing storm as half her body was covered in ice shivering from the cold touch of the ice but managed to ask Sero if he was able to move and when she got the response she declared Shouto the winner of the match.

"...This is going to be tough, if I end up fighting against him it doesn't matter how much skill we both possess," the match would be concluded on who made the 1st move and speed and the strength of element was also involved...but if Shouto was able to do this when he got angry then he had to be on constant guard because one single hit it was over for him.

Shouto who had walked over to Sero placed his hand on his chest and steam emitted from the ice.

"I'm sorry, I got angry," apologized Shouto looking to the side very angry but also a bit ashamed he let his anger out on Sero who he had nothing against. "But if I have to win to fight him then I will prove him,"

Sero who was still quite a bit freezing and in slight shock couldn't properly hear him but he did feel confused.

"...Good try?" said one of the Heroes making a bedding gesture.

"Good try!"

"Good try!"

"Good try!"

"Good try!"

'Ouch! For Sero who will be hearing this since this is seen all over Japan,' thought Denki, Kirishima, and Tokoyami simultaneously while cringing at the situation Sero was in, the same thing was shared as everyone in Class 1-A look sorry for Sero while Class 1-B looked a bit miffed at how brutally Shouto ended the match.

"How will Midoriya fare against this? Even with that cloning technique of his that widespread attack of Todoroki would end them!" commented Ochako worried of seeing the dead clone bodies of Izuku again, it wasn't a pretty sight and she had been a bit on the unfortunate part as one clone landed nearby her at the time and part of the helmet was destroyed, giving her a look what the expression of the clone was. A half-open eye that looked very dead and devoid of any light and his mouth open while no blood came out, it was still seen that the clone wasn't breathing anymore before shattering away into pieces of Emerald.

"True to that...I wonder how Midoriya will be taking this on," mused Iida to himself and he didn't exactly know what Izuku would plan since he was rather unpredictable, the first time showing his cloning technique has shown him how powerful he was.

On the other side of the stadium the girls of the Gardening Club looked worried as the showcasing of Shouto's power made them imagine a fight between him and Izuku, naturally, they were worried about the latter since they didn't know Shouto.

"Venus...do you perhaps have an idea who will win the fight between those 2?" asked Rosalia and those 2 could be any of the pairs fighting but Venus knew what her friend meant, having seen Izuku in action she immediately knew that he would be in the finals of the Festivals.

"I don't know...but what I do know is that you all have the same thought like me...this will be a battle that will be remembered for quite some time," muttered Venus with one and all worry inside of her.

Alrain: Sorry, for the late update as I have no idea where to go with this story anymore as I don't want to rewrite it again as that costs me too much work and I already have problems.

And the story that I promised will still go through and I don't know how to begin with it! I suck at beginnings so is there anyone that is willing to become my Beta!?

I still haven't gotten one nor did I get a PM about it...it is only about the stories and without anyone correcting my grammar or criticizing it I am not even sure if you all will even like it! Please, just anyone with better grammar than me just go PM me, because I am in need of help right now!

Stupid Writer's Block! Or in my case my laziness and not having a good PC to work on.
