Chapter 9: Rise of a Hero!

In the security room, we see two black suited mens with Green and brown demon mask...dragging the security guards out of the room.

"Are we sure just destroy this stuff...it recording is a big deal." Gray said dragging the security guard.

"No, there's no one in this area and some of the people are in the center and some members outside. we just need to check the vault, once we got the money inside, we home free." Green replied as he shuts the door.

Once the close is clear, the air vent open up quietly and Renee jumped out of it. 'Just set the alarm, and get out of here in the air vent.'

Renee goes to the computer monitor, and sees the camera's as sees lot's of people still in the shops, so she pulls out her phone and take some pictures of the monitors. She finally found the red button on the desk top, use all her might and hit.

Beep...Beep...Beep!

"What the?!"

"Someone in the room!"

Renee panicked as she uses the chair to boosted up to the vent, she jumped in the vent as closes once she got in. Burst into the room is Green and Gray masked, who sees the red lights flashes as they getting angry yet panicked.

"Someone, push the on alarm button! Boss gonna kill us!" Green shout

"You think! Let's switch different members so they take the blame." Gray response as Green nodded.

Lincoln in the vent, he got the text of Renee that she is out and alarm went on. Even she gets some photos of people still in the shops with those Masks people. Lincoln knows it's his time to strike, he climbing into the vents to the first hostage room.

In the cloth store, there's people in there sitting group or alone while watching by colorful demon masked gang. Including Lori and Leni, who sitting together as oldest fear while second one in tears that ruin her mascara.

"Lori...w-what's going huh?" Leni whimpered in feared.

"Shh...is okay Leni, the alarm is on and police is coming." Lori replied rubbed Leni's head.

"I don't think so..."

Both blondes sees black suited men in yellow demon mask, Leni hugged Lori who glaring at him. "The place is full of us in different stores in and center has people still in fear."

"Just leave us alone, we don't want any trouble!" Lori shout

"We gonna have a trouble unless." he said gets a creepy voice. "That blond glasses come with me for awhile."

Lori and Leni gets completely scare as the oldest hold the youngest who begun to whimper out of fear-

Suddenly the masked men got hit in the face by a blur object, this resulted to yellow mask send flying to basked of clothes. Everyone shocked what happened, as looking at the certain being who is the blur. The person is almost a kid, who wear a brown fit hoodie that reach down the waist, wear his gray fitness shirt, black pants with brown belt with silver lines that has a symbol at front, brown ankle boots. Also having a black lone ranger mask, and black gloves.

"What you suppose to be boy?" Orange masked asked

"I'm a boy who gonna beat all of you down." Lincoln said with a serious tone.

The masked criminals begin to laugh at him until one spoke who pointed his gun at him. "This gonna easy, I-"

Lincoln do a roundhouse kick at the orange mask as send him to the ground as knocking him out cold, Lincoln sees the a green and purple masker about to use their guns but Lincoln pull out something from his belt; black throwing spikes . He threw at them, on their hands making scream little as dropping their guns. Lincoln runs up top of a stand a jump up do a roundhouse kick at the green masked as he go to the ground. Green masked about to get up but Lincoln got to his chest and punches until he finally knock out.

Lincoln see the worker. "Make sure you find a rope and tie them up, they wake up soon."

Lincoln goes back to vent until he heard familiar voice.

"Thank you for stopping that man getting my sister."

Lincoln turn to them, as Leni hugging to Lori in her dear life while look at Lincoln as silent mouth 'thank you' all over and over. Lincoln simply replied by a nodded as he runs to the vent, going toward another hostage places.

In the toy store, there's kids in tears while hugging their parents while they having tears, while Luan hugged Lola and Lana who crying now.

"Shhh...it's okay, everything gonna be alright." Luan whispered

"Who's those meanies?" Lola question in fear.

"Where's mom and dad?" Lana asked scared.

"They will come, we just need to stay safe and quiet." Luan answered

But a certain frog came out of the hat of Lana, and jump off the head and hits the toys, Lana quickly grabbed her hat and her frog.

"Hops no!" Lana shout as sees a green mask goes to her. "I-I sorry sir!"

"You gonna be when you stand there quietly." Green replied about to aim at her but stop by someone grabbed he m the gun. "what?!"

Lincoln glare at him. "It's rude to pointed a gun to a little girl."

Lincoln start hits Green's stomach as Lincoln uppercut the Green as he fells down to the ground, he knocked out. Lincoln runs to a Purple as jump up and hits his face when tried to shoot, the place is clear now...no gang members in the place.

"That's take of that." Lincoln said felt something on his foot, he's look down and see a frog. "Hey little guy."

Lincoln pick Hops up as see Lana, Lola, and Luan who is scare of him due seeing him taking the mask gang down. Lincoln simply goes to Lana bend down to her level and give it to her with a smile.

Lana grabbed Hops and smiled at Lincoln. "Thank you Mr. Hero."

"Just stand here and wait for help arrive, I'm gonna stop this those jerks." Lincoln replied as he runs to the vents and got into it.

"I can't believe it...a real like superhero!" Lana shout with a big smile.

"I pretty sure Lincoln gonna be a big fan of his." Lola states

"He's doing a little 'heroin' today." Luan said makes twins glare at her. "What? A tried?"

In the sport store, we see Lynn Jr who got tie up on the ground as glaring at them. She the only one who fight them but they just go tie her up much of their relief cause she's really annoying.

"You all not getting away of this, you all get pounded by-MMM!" Lynn said just got a tap on her mouth.

"God why you don't just stand down, wonder how you're parents deal with you!" Red shout as others nodded.

"Maybe I just gonna kill this-" Green said just gonna knock by a solid object.

They turn to see a dress kid with holding bat, rest don't carried guns..just carried crowbars. They charge at him as swing the crowbars, Lincoln block few of the bars, but one hits his arm...thank for his Busoshoku Haki stop the attack. Lincoln seem hits the color masked with his armor fists, hitting their stomachs with huge strength, make them fall down in pain. The dress kid grabbed two jump ropes and tie them up, as untie Lynn.

"Thanks, I can take them down myself." Lynn said while she stretching her arms.

"Just stay here and wait for the police come, I'll be busy." Lincoln said goes to the vents again.

In the library, A blue and red mask look at the small people, as Luna and Lisa sitting down next a book shelve.

"Why this happening?" Lisa question in confused yet scared.

"Don't know sis, but don't worry...cops about to come." Luna said

"Who's that...what are you doing?!"

"Stop him!"

Both of them see a costume kid beat up two mask mans with his bare hands, even break a machine gun apart. Luna look through the book shelve see a green mask pointed a gun at the boy makes her glare.

"That's take care of them." Lincoln said

Lincoln heard noises, he turn to see a green mask I'm pile of books as shelve on top of them, he see Luna and Lisa.

"He about to shoot you, so I kinda stop it." Luna shout who swipe the dust off her hands.

Lincoln smiled. "Thanks, there's one place I needed to stop."

In the center of the mall, with most of lot people gathered in one place, with four mask of people trying to find something in the area as well Ryu and Chun-Li with Layla and Lyra. Even Rita and Lynn Sr with Lucy and Lily, everyone is scare...well Ryu and Chun-Li even Layla and Lyra not scare cause certain someone stopping them right now.

"Don't worry kids, we promise to protect you girls." Lynn Sr said

The Louds look at Lyra, who glare at them deeply as while spoke. "I wouldn't surprise doing worst than ever to Lincoln."

"Lyra please." Chun-Li said covering Lyra's mouth.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Lynn Sr asked with his eyebrow rise up.

"It's just, you promise you're girls protect as not Lincoln...likely not think about him." Ryu said gets a bit of glare look.

They see a big man than all masked man, he has black cloak jacket with white collar neck sweater, black jeans, and black shoes. His mask mostly demonic black with bloody trail down the forehead, having sharp teeth then normal.

"All of them is knock down and tie up?!" he said

"Yes Mr. Blood Mask, every mask down for the count." spoke a red masked

"Just find the vault, before cops come in!" Blood Mask said

"AGHHHHH!"

Everyone turn to screaming of a green mask, who seem be beaten and laying on a bake cart.

"Who did that?!" Blood Mask question

"Ha...Ha...Ha!"

Everyone startled by the laughed, try to find who laughing but no one see who did that, is mostly childish and young.

"ERRRRRGHHG!"

Everyone turn to see a blue mask in the kids ball pit, the three mask and Blood Mask keep together.

"Who did that?!" Blood Mask question

"Hahaha...Ha!"

"Who's laughing?!" Blood Mask question to the people.

"OOOOOH!"

"SIIIIIRRRR!"

Blood Mask and everyone sees red and purple now hang upside down of their feet tie up on a tree, now no minions to help Blood Mask.

"Hahahaha...Ha!"

"That's it!" Blood Mask shout unaware getting nervous.

Blood Mask one of the captives...Lucy! Makes Rita and Lynn Sr shocked and begged for not taking their daughter even Lucy begin to cried out tears.

"Listen up you laughing freak, I have someone here and I planted to end her! So come out right now!" Blood Mask called out

"I'm here."

Everyone look up even Blood Mask and Lucy lifted their heads to see a boy (Lincoln) came down as below Blood Mask. And do a knee attack on Blood Mask's face which the mask break apart as well to see the face only to be broken, even see the blood coming from the nose and mouth plus some of his teeth comes out.

Lincoln landed down, once he stands up and sees Blood Mask pass out, he see the gun makes the boy kick it away. He turn to Lucy who is shocked and so was everyone look at the boy, recording him on their phones.

"You all can go out, it safe since cops stop the masks outside." Lincoln said

Lincoln runs out as jumping place to place until he goes inside of a vent, everyone begin stands up as rush out of the place even Rita and Lynn Sr hugged Lucy.

"Sweetie, are you alright?" Rita asked

"Yes, who's was that?" Lucy asked in speechless.

"Seem to be...a little hero." Lynn Sr answered

The cops made it inside of the mall, shocking everyone is safe and the demon gang members is either knock out or tie up. Lincoln watches from the top of the mall, he's his family finally gather to comforted each other, so Lincoln goes down secretly hoping no one looking.

Meanwhile at the near the forest, is Lincoln with Ryu, Chun-Li, Lyra, and Layla even Charles while talking what just happened out there in the mall.

Layla hugged Lincoln while smiling. "You did it Lincoln!"

Lyra pull out a thumbs up. "Way to pull through."

"Thanks guys but it really scare to me." Lincoln said look at the adults. "Are you sure wanna me be a superhero, I love it but it's kinda dangerous."

"We see many people doing heroic ways to bring people another chance to lived on their lives...we promise to protect you...until this crime rate go down this town." Ryu replied

"Make you some gadgets to help." Chun-Li respond

"And master your powers, I even can be your partner." Lyra states pound her fist together.

"I can even help your injuries." Layla spoken with a cute smile.

Lincoln smiled of how much this friends can help, he glade to meet them...he makes sure to help this town to stop this demon mask gang and finally let be peace again.

"Thanks guys, I think time for me go home...right Charles?" Lincoln asked sees his dog nodded.

"Oh we meet your parents, and we kinda got our piece of our mine." Chun-Li respond

"Oh man, I don't know if this good or bad to me." Lincoln said as he goes to the bus stop while Charles followed.

Lincoln and Charles made it home, sees little quiet than usual today...Lincoln went to the door, once he open it...he sees his sisters, all of them was having guilt in their faces even Lynn Sr who scratching his head even Rita who looking at the stairs.

"Okay, what happened?" Lincoln said as everyone look at him. "Something happen here and it's not in the good way." he look around. "Where's Lucy?"

Lynn Sr uneasy feeling and spoke. "Well...Lucy felt so scare at the moment being hostage by a criminal, she's so scare that she yelled out of she the one..."

"Clogged the toilet, everything she did that she did of mistakes in her life...she rush to the room and shut it. She won't talk to none of us, only saying go away...maybe you should talk to her Lincoln." Rita said to Lincoln.

Lincoln confused. "Me...why?"

Lynn make begged eyes. "Please Lincoln, you other than me close to her...she was scare in her life, you can calm her down."

Lincoln sees the family begging to talk to her, Lincoln just walked to upstairs and goes to Lynn and Lucy's room. Lincoln knock on it, then heard a shout.

"GO AWAY, LEAVE ME ALONE!"

Lincoln shocked to heard Lucy voice that loud and normal, he getting worried. "Lucy, it's me...can you open the door."

"I just wanna be alone!"

"Lucy I heard about it when I hear the news, I was devastated and runs back home...I make sure you okay, please...let me see you."

In few seconds, the door opens to see Lucy who black mascara runs down her cheeks, she quickly hugs Lincoln who hugs her back. Lincoln brings Lucy to her bed, once he sit down on her bed...he just holding on to Lucy who keep on holding her brother until she finally relax.

"Lucy, Lucy?" Lincoln said sees Lucy still shaking up, so he just put little rising tone. "Lucy!" Lucy look at Lincoln, he put a calm smile. "Why you tell the truth toward them? Everything, I'm so don't know why you did that?"

Lucy look down and spoke. "I was so scare that I thought my life about me over, all I ever think about everything done including you Lincoln...hating on me. So I just telling everything I did, especially one you take the fall for me clogging the toilet, I shouldn't have taking advantage of you Lincoln...you help us and me all our lives and we didn't repay you back!"

Lincoln getting worried. "Whoa Lucy calm down."

Lucy look at her hands while black mascara drop on them, she buries her face on her hands. "I thought was different from them but no, I want your great words and nerve to say that I don't have a brother...I don't what to do without you, MAYBE I JUST WANNA-"

Lucy was stop by Lincoln's putting his hands around her to hug her and put one of his hand on Lucy's head to bring it on his chest. She look up to see Lincoln's eyes cover by his hair as little tears coming down his cheeks.

"Don't...finish that sentence, I'm not wanna heard one of my family say that sentence, I don't care what people say or people do to me...I won't anyone hurt you or everyone I care about, I'm promise...I'll be there, if you wanted help, held you if you need to let it all out, or someone keep you coming...I'll be there." Lincoln said as Lincoln rubbed Lucy cheek, removing the bangs, sees her blue eyes. "Lucy...I forgive."

Lucy smiled as let out tears and hugged her brother, finally she got her brother back...it's been whole weeks of him annoyed her, didn't help her, or play with her. Now...finally...she have her big brother back, she feels weights off her shoulders.

"You know I see someone save you from that mad man." Lincoln said wanna change he subject.

"Yeah, he's really was amazing take down like its was nothing...more of a sparrow." Lucy said

Lincoln confused. "Sparrow why that name?"

"Cause sparrow more of bird is go everywhere cities and towns, then fade away like not even there." Lucy answered

Lincoln smiled. 'Sparrow, fade away...hmm.'

Lincoln laying down on his bed, managed to get some alone time, looking at the ceiling with a puzzle face as Layla spoke in few hours back.

"I mean, find your own thing that is best of you. Your talent, being a fighter is cool. But you need to find something good in life."

"My own thing huh...hmm?" Lincoln saif spot something in his black bag, other than his costume, he pick it up and sees other than the manga book. "Oh no, I must have put it in accidently when escaping with Renee."

Lincoln look at it, so he just shrugged and begin to read it, he few minutes he begin to enjoy it; the art, the moments, the characters...was awesome. Once Lincoln finish, he put down the book with a smile on his face.

"This book is great, I never know manga is almost excited like the comics." Lincoln said then gets a idea.

Lincoln wondered this manga is like a hoppy to him, he does taking drawing when he finish schoolwork in class, and lesson from online. So he pull out a blank sketch notebook, he place a name for it, he come up with it for short time just get started. Its not gonna be easy, it be one of difficult way to finish in whole serie of his whole lifetimes.

Night time, Blood Mask came back after he escaped from the cops when they having a donut break. He may have lost his gang but still gonna get the job done, he goes to the fountain place...the only place that not been look at it.

"Lesson learn..." Blood Mask said to himself as pull out a strange tech key. "Always hides in plain sight."

Blood Mask look at the water see coins in it until he sees a key hole, he smirk as unlock the keyhole with his key. The fountain stops shooting water, begin to open up a hole...Blood Mask only find out that inside only...a old map.

"A map, I lost my gang, few of my teeth, and my nose...just a map?!" Blood Mask question

Blood Mask froze, he look down to see three holes in his chest begin to bleed out, he falls down on the ground while he suffocating. He see shocked one of his fellow demon mask gang, the only color is...blank.

Blood Mask cough out blood. "Why?"

The blank simply grabbed the map. "This map lead the secret in the town and I'm gonna find those pieces and reclaim it for the boss."

The blank was about to leave, but stop by Blood Mask chuckled as spoke. "For the boss huh, I was your boss...I see this world used have people doing good and evil, full of people opportunity and feel safe...now it's nothing but secrets and fear. I may be a gang leader, but two simple be one things I believe...Honer...Respect."

The blank goes to Blood Mask only says. "What your believe huh...WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN?!"

The blank simply puts a...grenade in the Blood Mask's mouth! He simply says this. "I believe a simple thing I say..."

The blank pull out his mask revealing a multiple scares on his face with black liners on his eyes. "Control."

The blank goes away while pulling it the tip of the grenade in Blood Mask's mouth...once the blank leave, a explosive appear in the mall. But unnoticed by both of them, they been watching from a camera, not any cameras...one certain camera.

In a place that's is dark, full of tech and rocks...one man watching a the recording from Royal Woods.

A man in a butler suit came down. "I say sir, why you heard in the-"

The man spoke. "You may have take a look at this."

The butler sees the news of a certain moments in Royal Woods of a certain vigilante stopping crimes left and right...and fade away like he's not there...he's only leave one card to the police:
