Hello everyone and welcome to the eighth instalment to Soul Reaper Family. With me again is my friend Kaizokuoniiorewanaru.

Kaizoku: Heyooo!

So, who do we have for today?

That would be this kid. *points at Jinta*

Jinta: (Comes in grandiose) "Thank you! Thank you! The Great Jinta is here~!"

Kaizoku: *corpses* Yeah, okay. (Note: Corpsing is British theatrical slang for unintentionally laughing during a non-humorous performance or when a role in a humorous performance is intended to be played "straight".)

Jinta: "Hey don't laugh at me!"

(Looks to Kaizoku) Why do we keep bring the crazy ones?

Jinta: "HEY!"

Kaizoku: Hey, hey, hey. This was YOUR idea.

I was hoping not to bring in the loons, we have the power after all… That or people find it funny.

Kaizoku: Heh. Whatever. Let's have Jinta do the disclaimer.

Right, Jinta, if you will?

Jinta: "Okay, fine. These two do not own Bleach which is owned by Viz Media and whoever else owns Bleach. They just own the changes to the story."

Now onto the story.

Chapter 8: June 17, Memories in the Rain

It was the next day, June 17, a very sunny day, and the Kurosaki's were walking up to the graveyard to visit their mother. Isshin was blowing a whilst.

"Ah... Boy, we're never going to get to the top..." Yuzu groaned.

"Speak for yourself," Karin told her, walking up the hill fine. "This hill's no problem. … And please don't let dad hear you say that…"

"You can do it Yuzu!" Isshin called out, hand standing now making all three sibling sweatdrop. "Hang in there! You see!? Dad's on your side!"

"Now you did it…" Karin groans. She then turned back up to look at the way they were going. "Just ignore… or else he'll never stop…" She kept walking up the hill. "Giving guys like him attention only encourages them…"

Isshin suddenly has a glint in his eyes. "You're wrong about that." Isshin declared as he runs on his hands. "I'm automatically encouraged, even if you ignore me!"

Karin turned around and shouted to her sister, "Look out Yuzu!"

Yuzu dodges in time for her father to slid past her saying, "Father Slide Attack says, 'This way to the top'!"

Karin then kicked him like a soccer ball, shouting, "AND DAUHTER SAYS 'GO BACK TO BOTTEM'!" He was then rolling back down the hill like a ball, barely missing Ichigo. Karin was posing victoriously, but then got bat up. "Now we can walk in peace for a while," she stated, walking away.

Ichigo breathed out, feeling himself a little exhausted. "Man, it's hot." He pointed out. "Even in the middle of June, this kind of heat's a little unusual." He said to himself before thinking back to their mother's death. 'That day was also June 17. But that day was completely different.' He thought.

"Uh, Ichigo," Karin called out.

"Yeah Karin?" he asked her.

"We did ask for Rukia and Zacory to give us the day off, right?" Yuzu asked.

"Yeah, why are you asking?" he asked, and turned to see none other the Rukia and Zacory in front of the trio, Rukia waving to them while Zacory lowered his book and gave a two fungure salute. This shocked Ichigo, jaw dropping.

"Then why are they here before us!?" Karin shouted, pointing to tjem.

"What the hell!?" Ichigo exclaimed in worry.

(Later in the wood)

The five were now in the woods, going to have a chat with Zacory and Rukia.

"What are you two doing following us Rukia, Zacory?" Ichigo asked.

"We asked for a day off to see our mother," Karin stated.

"It's encases a Hollow shows up to ruin your day off," Zacory answered, still reading. "You three are good, but you can't fight in your bodies you know."

"Hey, way to keep a low profile. There could've been people like our dad spotting you two! Rukia, why were you waving at us like that and Zacory, why were you saluting us like that!?" Ichigo exclaimed.

"I suppose we could have been more discreet. We just didn't think of it." Rukia replied.

The three just and all said, "It's okay."

"So are you two upset about something?" Yuzu asked.

"Actually, we're not upset about anything," Rukia told them.

"… Listen…" Zacory started, bookmarking his spot and putting his book away. "About your mother… You told us that someone killed her right…?"

"We didn't say that." Karin told.

"But you never said who killed her." Rukia replied.

"Listen, just drop it, OK?" Ichigo asked.

"Please… It's painful for Ichigo," Yuzu stated.

"Yeah, even through we don't blame him for what happened," Karin stated, shocking him, "we know it wasn't his doing."

"Wait, you don't-?" Ichigo started.

"When we first met you three, you said you see spirits sense you were very young," Rukia pointed out.

"Ichigo…" Zacory started, knowing he's going to regret this. "We want you to answer one last Question… Could your mother have been killed by Hollow…?"

The Kurosakis gasp at this.

Zacory groans, know he my have crossed a line, but Rukia kept at it, And asked, "Do you think that it's possible?"

"Uh Rukia, I think you should-" Zacory tried to stop her.

"If your spiritual capabilities were that high as a child," Rukia continued, ignoring Zacory, "then there may have been Hollow who sensed."

"Rukia I think you should-" Zacory tried again."

"And when it came after you it culd have killed your mothe-"

"STOP IT! JUST SHUT UP!" Ichigo roared at her in anger. Zacory facepalmed at Rukia.

His sisters were now worried. "Ichigo…"

"Why does everything always have to be about Hollows with you, anyway? There was no freaking Hollow there that day, all right!?" Ichigo denied the possibility as he grips his pockets tightly. "You'll never understand the pain and suffering we have to live with every single day." He declared, surprising Rukia. "...So. Sorry to wreck your theory, but all the usual suspects, like Hollows, serial killers, thugs, they're not to blame. ...I am." He said as he walked past Rukia and Zacory.

This shocked the two and tried to call out, "Wait Ichigo!"

"Good going you two…" Karin stated flatly looking up set at the two Soul Reaper, making them look at the two sisters.

"Ichigo blames himself for that day, and you had to bring it up…" Yuzu said, holding back her tears.

Both started walking the other way to their mother's grave. "Don't talk to us for a while…" Karin demanded.

Zacory smacked Rukia over the head with his book, "Good going genius…" he scolded her. "You shouldn't have pried into their lives…"

"I... I had to try... You and I both know it could have been a Hollow's attack!" Rukia exclaimed at Zacory.

"You could have shown more tack in it…" he stated flatly and dryly. "You need to read the room more…"

"...We're outside." Rukia took the statement literally.

Zacory just groans and facepalm. "You are impossible sometimes, you know that…?" This made Rukia confused even more.

A few minutes later, Zacory and Rukia were sitting on a ledge, looking over cometary, Zacory putting his book away, not feeling like reading.

"Ichigo killed his mother…?" Rukia asked in a whisper. "No…" Rukia then thought back to what she said to Ichigo. "...I can't believe I said that... How insensitive..." She muffled to herself as she covered her mouth.

Zacory heard her thugh, "So you admit that you were in the wrong…" he stated.

Before she could respond to her, their bags open and Kon, Yukari and Tora came out. "Hey, Rukia! Zacory! Yuhoo!" Kon called out.

"Kon, stop being an idiot…" Yukari scolded her brother.

"Oh, let him have fun sis," Tora stated. All three popping out of the bags.

"What are you doing, Kon, Yukari, Tora?" Rukia asked. "I told you not to come out until I said so."

"Gimme a break. I can hardly even breath inside there, Rukia." Kon complained. "I need oxygen, stat. When are we going back home, anyway?"

"And it's cramped in here with all of Zacory's books," Tora added.

"I told you before, it's our duty to always stay close to Ichigo, Yuzu, and Karin so we can help them if a Hollow shows up." Rukia replied.

"You are a broken record Rukia," Yukari stated flatly.

"Yeah, even I'm not that stab happy about killing Hollow," Zacory agreed.

Kon used the bag as a seat. "That's all you ever talk about, Hollow this, Hollow that."

"You need to get out more girl," Tora stated, stretching like a real cat. "You need to make new friends or something."

Rukia then suddenly stands up as she notices something. Zacory stood up too, hearing what she heard. It was snoring.

"What is that?" the three Mod Souls asked.

The two Soul Reapers, with the Mod Souls walk to where it was coming from. The walked until they saw a man in a Soul Reaper uniform and a Japanese straw hat sleeping. He then started to wake up and stretch.

"It's you…" Rukia and Zacory stated, the Mod Souls falling out of their bags.

The Soul Reap just laughed, rolled to his feet, and spoke. "Sorry, I hate to be caught napping, but these missions get so dull sometimes, that I just can't seem to stay awake."

Kon, Yukari and Tora we in shock. "A Soul Reaper…?" Kon stated.

"This isn't good," Rora stated the three running.

"We have to find the siblings," Yukari added.

"What mission are you talking about?" Zacory asked, confused.

The Soul Reaper chuckles. "Don't you know, Rukia? Zacory?" He asked back.

(With Ichigo)

Ichigo wasn't in the best mood right now, remembering what happed before.

-Flashback-

"Goodbye Tatsuki~" a young Ichigo called out.

"Goodbye Ichigo~!" a young Tatsuki called back. "See you at the Dojo tomorrow~!"

Ichigo and his mother were walking through an alleyway and Ichigo was suddenly hit by water made by a careless driver. "Oh, that careless driver. Come here." The mother asked of Ichigo. "Are you all right?" She asked as she wiped his face. "Let me switch places with you and walk next to the street so that doesn't happen again."

"Nah, you don't have to do that. I'm the one with the raincoat on, so I don't mind. Let me protect you from stuff like that, OK?" Ichigo asked back.

"What a brave boy~ That's very sweet. But before you worry about protecting me, I think you should work on protecting yourself from that Tatsuki~" The mother teased.

"Come on. I won a point from her the last time." Ichigo replied as his mother stops wiping his face.

"There you go~ You're all cleaned up now. Let's go. And I'll walk on the street side this time." The mother said as she walks with Ichigo again.

"Hey, mom, can I— can I hold your hand, please?" Ichigo asked.

"Why, of course you can~" The mother answered, holding her hand out.

'I loved my mother so much,' Ichigo thought to himself, 'and I always felt safe as long as she was with me…'

-Few minutes later-

The mother and Ichigo were on their way through a park's riverside when Ichigo suddenly seeing a girl in white robes. "What's that girl doing?" Ichigo wondered out loud.

'Back then I didn't know I was seeing ghost,' Ichigo thought to himself, 'I couldn't tell the difference between living and the dead.'

Ichigo sees the girl walking towards the river and runs towards her. "Ah— I'll be right back!" Ichigo exclaimed.

"Ichigo, where are you going!?" The mother asked as she runs after Ichigo. "No, Ichigo, stop!" She ordered. The girl falls, and Ichigo tried to grab her, but his hand passed through her clothes.

'When I was little my dad told me that my name meant "He Who Protects,"' Ichigo thought to himself. 'Up until then I just wanted to protect my mother and my sisters… but that day I knew I was meant to protect little girl too... That's all I was trying to do… But instead my mom die trying to protect me from going into the river… I never what caused it, I never saw it coming… but I knew when I looked at her, that my mom was dead… That little girl was gone…'

"No!" Ichigo exclaimed in tears.

"I remember thinking, how was I ever going to explain what had happened to Karin and Yuzu? We all loved my mom... She was always the center of our universe, the heart of our family..." Ichigo kept thinking to himself.

-End of flashback-

Ichigo fell to the ground, on his hands an knees, crying to himself. 'And now that heart has been cut out… by me… So why don't they hate me for it…?'

(With Yuzu and Karin)

The sisters were at their mother's grave, Karin talking to her.

'Hi, mom. I know it's been a while since we visited you. Sorry about that. But we're all doing pretty well. How have you been?' Karin asked in her thoughts. 'W-Well, not that great, I guess, seeing as how you're dead and all...' She thought. She sees Yuzu crying. "Hey, you can't keep bursting into tears every time we come here, you know. We're 11 years old. We're big kids now, for crying out loud." Karin grunted.

"I know but…" Yuzu stated, looking at Karin. "this place just make me sad… A-And what happened with Ichigo with Rukia and Zacory… It-It bring up more pain… to see him blame himself…" Yuzu stated to cry again.

"Are you sure you're really my sister…?" Karin asked in a deadpan tone of voice.

"I'll cheer you two up!" Isshin declared from behind the two girls, laughing and making funny faces and doing weird poses, a few push-ups. "It's time for the annual Kurosaki family headstone leaping and incense eating competition, so let's get started-" He was about to declare before Karin kicks him in the face.

"You win for most annoying dad of the year!" Karin growled as Isshin was kicked away.

She made him land and accidentally knocked over a tombstone, Ishin asking, "I won already? But I was just getting started!"

Karin sighs and looks away from her father then asked no one in particular, "Can we trade in our dad…? We really need a new model…"

(With Rukia and Zacory)

"No more games," Rukia ordered. "Who are you?"

The Soul Reaper said nothing. "Look man," Zacory started, "just answer the question."

The Soul Reaper chuckles. "Rukia Kuchiki and Zacory Zakrei. Those are names that everybody at Soul Reaper Academy knows. Let's face it, you're famous." He said. This urprised the two. "Rukia Kuchiki, adopted into the noble Kuchiki family, you were know to the rest of the student body as 'The Princess of Rukon District'. Zacory Zakrei, you were top in all your class, were able to wield three blades at one like you did it all your life, and always fought with honor, but was always to honest. You were known as "The Tri-Honor Blade Master'. And I, of course, am Eikichiro Saidoh. You two remember me, don't you? I was older than both of you, but you know my reputation." Rukia and Zacory said nothing. "Maybe this'll ring a bell. They call me that really funny guy, right?" Eikichiro asked as he gets up in their faces.

"We've never heard of you." Rukia answered, surprising Eikichiro, making him sigh.

"Oh well, no matter. I suppose we should get down to business." Eikichiro declared, letting Rukia and Zacory get in a fighting stance. "Hey, settle down. All you two have to do is answer a few questions." He assured. Rukia and Zacory thought back to Kisuke's words.

"Ms. Rukia. Mr. Zacory. You can't hope to hide it forever."

Just then, realization hit the two. "Oh, wait, the Stealth Force," they both said together.

"Ding! Ding! Ding! Ding!" he shouted, being a dramatic. "Wohoo~! That is the correct answer~!"

"And I thought the Stealth Force was more professional then that, or are you just a grunt…?" Zacory asked.

(With Kon)

Kon was running to find Ichigo while Yuari and Tora went to find Yuzu and Karin. "Ichigo! Help! Emergency!" He shouted. "Rukia and Zacory are in trouble! Ichigo where are you!? Ichigoooo…!" He then found himself on a cliffside. "...Uh-oh. This can't be good." Kon said to himself as he tries to stop himself from falling, but fails miserably. He then falls on Ichigo.

"I am really not in the mood for you right now, Kon!" Ichigo growled as he grabs Kon.

"Rukia and Zacory are in trouble!" Kon exclaimed crying a bit. "Yukari and Tora went to get your sisters to help!" Ichigo saw this and knew he wasn't lying.

(With Yukari and Tora)

The sister Mod Souls were running to try and find Yuzu and Karin.

"Are you sure this is the right way to Yuzu and Karin?" Tora asked.

"I'm sure," Yukari answered, sure of her intellect. They eventually get to the two sisters and jump on them.

"What the hell do you two want...?" Karin asked, not in the mood.

"Rukia and Zacory! They're in trouble!" Tora exclaimed.

"Wait what?" Yuzu asked in shock.

"It's true," Yukari stated.

Karin saw that they were telling the truth. "Yuzu we need to go help them."

"Right," Yuzu nodded.

(Back with Rukia and Zacory)

"They're getting pretty irritated with you back there. They want to know why you're both still here." Eikichiro told Rukia and Zacory.

"We're still here because the Hollows keep coming. Orders come in, too. It's simple as that." Rukia replied.

"That doesn't explain why you're dressed like high school students." Eikichiro pointed out, making them both look at their clothes.

"Actually, its Primary School for me, because of how young I look," Zacory corrected.

"Wha-What!?" Rukia shouted in disbelief. "What's the difference, I'll wear whatever I want too."

"Oh, don't be embarrassed, Rukia. It just looks like you're finally growing up into a woman." Eikichiro declared. Rukia stares at him for a bit.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Rukia asked.

"Oh, stop, you're killing me!" Eikichiro laughed. "Why not admit it? You're both involved with those kids whose mother was killed by a Hollow." He declared. "The guy with the spiky hair and two twin girls, one with black hair, one with light brown hair?"

"What are you talking about?" Rukia wanted clarification.

"Do you feel sorry for them, or are you looking for fun in the human world?" Eikichiro asked back.

Zacory punched Eikichiro in the face, sending him flying back. "You goddamn degenerate! They're younger than us!" He shouts in anger and was blushing.

"Hey, it's nothing to be embarrassed about. Everybody needs love. And I guess the best you could do was a human boy and two human girls you two could get all smoochy with~" Eikichiro teased them both. Rukia charges up a Kido spell, making him retreat a few feet. "No, huh? Too bad. That's the only excuse I think the Soul Society would have bought." He declared. "If I don't get an answer from you that satisfies our superiors, I'll have to take you both back, even if it means dragging you by your hairs."

"Are you threatening us?" Rukia asked.

"Could be." Eikichiro answered.

"Well then Saidoh, tell the higher ups that it would be dishnnorable to take us back right in the middle of our job," Zacory stated in a cold and calculating voice, with no emotion. "I'm still here to help Rukia, by her brother's orders and from my Captain."

"Eh, I tried. But... you leave me no choice." Eikichiro declared as he unsheathes his sword and prepares to fight.

"Rukia!" Kon called out getting their attention.

"Rukia! Zacory!" Ichigo called out, both running to them. "Are you alright?" He then noticed the Eikichiro. Kon running into his leg. "Who are you? And what do you want here?"

"Well, it's spiky head. Am I really visible to you, lover boy?" Eikichiro asked Ichigo.

"Kon, who is this clown?" Ichigo asked Kon.

"I don't know..." Kon answered. "Beats me."

"You brought me here in a panic because you said it was an emergency, you furball!" Ichigo exclaimed, grabbing Kon by the head.

"Never mind about me right now. Tell me about yourself, son. Just what do you do?" Eikichiro asked of Ichigo.

"Don't say it!" Rukia exclaimed.

"I'm a sub-" Ichigo went to answered Eikichiro, but then Karin came flying out, dropkicking Ichigo, making all the others sweatdrop.

"Shut up you idiot!" Karin scolded him. "Do you even think before you open your mouth!?"

Yuzu then walked in, with Yukair and Tra, and saw Eikichiro, "Oh, hello~" she great kindly, bowing to him. "Are you friends of Rukia and Zacory?"

"Eh, it's the different color hair twins," Eikichiro stated, still a bit perplexes about what happened.

'Oh geez…' Zacory though, thanking the heavens above for Karin's stopping Ichigo. 'Dodged a bullet there…'

"So what were you going to say?" Eikichiro asked Ichigo.

Karin was choke holding Ichigo. "Nothing, he's an idiot for not thinking before speaking," she told him.

"What was it you asked Ichigo before we got here sir?" Yuzu asked him in a kind tone.

"I only wanted him to tell me about himself. What he does." Eikichiro answered.

Yuzu had a look that could only be described as a kicked, staved puppy that was in the cold and rain, "W-Will Rukia and Zacory get in trouble if we tell you the truth…? Or our family ether…? We've lost so much on this day as it is…?" Yuzu asked in a sad and hurt tone of voice. Eikichiro was forced to turn away and clutch his heart.

'Gah! That look on her face! Now I feel like the bad guy!' Eikichiro shouted in his head. "W-Well…" he strained out. "I-It depends on the situation and the reason…"

Yuzu still had that look on her face and asked, "I-If we tell you, will you let whoever it is you work for know that we will explain our reasons and testify for them…?" She gave him the sad puppy dog eyes.

'NOT THE PUPPY EYES!' Eikichiro exclaimed in his head, feeling like he was losing an up-cliff battle.

"How is she making him look like that...?" Rukia asked, more confused than relieved.

"She can make anyone feel bad if it comes to friends and Family," Karin answered.

"ALRIGHT! I'LL HEAR YOU OUT BEFORE I REPORT YOU!" Eikichiro shouted, falling to his knees, crying. He then begged her, "Just stop with the guilt trip, please…"

"... Just how powerful IS that face she makes!?" Rukia gasped.

Yuzu then was smiling brightly. "Thank you, sir~" Just then the air chilled around her, "but if you're lying…" The three Soul Reaper could have sworn they saw the Fourth Captain behind Yuzu, Eikichiro sweating buckets.

"… Rukia… What would you think would happen if Yuzu meet Captain Unohana…?" Zacory asked in worry, seeing the similarities of the two women.

"I would think that the two of them combined would get away with anything..." Rukia dreaded.

"Let's hope that day never comes… Or comes anytime soon…" Zacory pleaded.

"Okay then sir~ We'll tell you~" Yuzu stated, then looked to Karin and Ichigo. "You can let Ichigo go now~"

Karin did and Ichigo gasped for breath, coughing a few times. "Looks like Yuzu went into Mother Mode…" Karin stated.

"Ugh... So wait... NOW I'm allowed to talk?" Ichigo asked.

Yuzu nodded to him. "I think he'll be more understanding now."

"Okay." Ichigo replied before clearing his throat. "Karin, Yuzu, and I are Substitute Soul Reapers." He said to Eikichiro.

"A Soul Reaper?" Eikichiro repeated. "Is that right... I'm still waiting for the punchline, because that has to be a joke!" He declared. A moment of silence passed. "Oh, Rukia, Zacory, that's a big mistake. What you've both done is considered a serious crime."

"What crime?" Ichigo hummed in confusion. "What's he saying?" He asked Rukia and Zacory.

"Was making us Soul Reapers really that bad?" Karin asked the two.

Yuzu bowed to Eikichiro. "We're truly sorry if we did commit it," she apologized. "We wanted to help them after they were seriously injured due to them protecting us… We wanted to help save them and repay them for saving our lives. So we'll do what it takes to help them and repay them."

"Is that right...?" Eikichiro asked.

"Yeah, and these two don't tell or teach us anything about the job or what we can actually do," Karin stated, pointing her thumb at Rukia and Zacory who looked indignant. "Just tell us to kill Hollows and nothing else…"

"I told Rukia we should teach you but all she says is that you three just need to kill Hollows, nothing else matters," Zacory stated, putting Rukia under the bus.

"Zacory, you traitor! I know it's true but, you are a traitor!" Rukia exclaimed.

"I'm not a traitor, I'm just stating a report," he told her.

"That report also stating that you're a traitor!" Rukia argued.

Zacory groan and states, "This is why I was sent as your Honor Guard, because of how childish you get and how hair brain your ideas are. I see why your brother, captain and my captain told me to protect you, you're a loose cannon…"

"I'm dedicated!" Rukia argued.

"Yeah, to the point of tunnel vision!" Zacory argued back. "You don't pay attention to what goes around when you focus on one thing!"

"Should we stop this?" Ichigo asked his sisters.

"I am… not sure…" Karin stated, unsure what to do.

"I'm just as lost as you guys," Yuzu added.

"Well, while their having their little falling out in the ranks," Eikichiro started, looking at the siblings, "you three wouldn't mind if I tested your capablalites?"

"Test out how?" Ichigo asked.

"In a fight of course," Eikichiro stated, pulling his sword out. "I do need to see if you're capable."

The three siblings looked at one another. Karin asked them, "Should we?"

"If it'll get him off our backs." Ichigo shrugged.

"I guess that's true," Yuzu though about it. "And would be good to see where we at."

"Then it's decided." Karin declared.

They then look back to Eikichiro, Yuzu telling him, "We'll take you up on your offer."

Eikichiro smirks. "All right. Let's get down to it!" He exclaimed as he attacks with his sword.

"Hey wait a minute! We're not read!" Karin stated, he then swung at them, but missed. They were all able to dodge him in time, Yuzu and Karin grabbing Yukari and Tora.

"Cough it up now!" Ichigo ordered Kon.

"Need your pill now Tora," Karin stated in a hurried tone.

"I need your help Yukari," Yuzu said, being kind to her.

Huh?" Kon asked in confusion, but Ichigo stuck his hand in his mouth the grab his pill.

"On it!" Toga agreed, coughing her pill up.

Yukari nodded, taking her head off and dropping her pill in Yuzu's hand.

The Kurosakis swallow their respective pills, ejecting them from their bodies.

"Not bad," Eikichiro complimented. "You three are humans, and you were able to transform. Now I'm really interested in your abilities."

"Like we said, we'll explain everything," Yuzu stated. "Right now, you wanted to test us."

"That's right!" Ekichiro replied as he attacks with his sword again.

Ichigo was attack him with heavy swings at Ekichiro. He was able to block or dodge his attack. Karin was long quick swings with her katana using it long reach to keep him at a distance, not able to hit him or him hitting her. Yuzu was using fast and accurate attacks, when ever he was going to attack her, she'd block with one sword and attack with the other. They might not have had training, but their teamwork and coordination was second to none. They trusted each other and knew when to switch out too keep Ekichiro on his toes.

"These kids..." Ekichiro grunted. "I see, you three were telling the truth, you're not trained at all, there are mistakes in your fighting, but you make up for it with great teamwork and going with your strengths'." He goes to attack Ichigo but Karin swung at him, making him back up into Yuzu who attack, making him block. "Spiky hair is the heavy hitter, black hair twin is the long-range fast swinger, and the light brown hair twin is the fast-accurate strikes."

"Yeah? And what about it!?" Ichigo roared as he attacks.

Just then Zacory and Rukia's Soul Pagers went off, making them all stop fighting. "What's that?" Ekichiro asked.

"It's a Hollow!" Rukia stated in shock.

"And it's a big one!" Zacory added in shock as well.

The siblings ran over to see this. "Guess our test is on hold for now," Karin stated to Ekichiro.

"Come look at this." Rukia ordered. "The spirit energy reading is higher than usual."

"Yeah, it's way out of your league." Eikichiro pointed out, now behind Rukia and Zacory.

"What? Are you wanting to keep fighting or something?" Karin asked in a deadpan.

Zacory and Rukia turned to look at the siblings. "Ichigo, Yuzu, Karin, there's no time for that anymore."

"Yeah, your father could be in danger," Zacory told them.

This shocked the trio of Kurosakis. "Let's go!" Rukia ordered as she ran along with the Kurosakis.

"Hey, wait!" Eikichiro called to no avail.

"So what that guy mean back there about this being a serious crime?" Ichigo asked Rukia and Zacory while running.

"Yeah, did we break your laws of something?" Karin asked as well.

"Not the time right now you two," Yuzu and Zacory told them.

"They're right you have your own problems now," Rukia stated. "The scan showed it's near your mother's grave."

'Our mother's grave? What would that Hollow want with it?' Karin wondered.

They made it to the stairs and were almost there. "I know you want to ask me about my mother's death, don't you?" Ichigo asked Rukia.

"Would you answer me if I did?" Rukia asked back. "That's you and your family's business. All we know is for you, it's a deep jagged wound, and because of that me and Zacory don't know what words to say. We don't know how to ask you about it without dragging up your pain all over, without tearing your heart apart. I'll wait for now, and when you and/or your sisters are ready to talk, when you feel ready to tell us about it," she looks to Ichigo, "We'll be there to listen."

"You have use by your side so you don't have to carry all the pain by yourself," Zacory agreed.

"We're with you all the way bro," Karin stated, playfully waking his arm.

"That's wha friends and family do~" Yuzu smiled at her older brother.

Ichigo nods. "Thank you, all of you."

They five then turn right to get to the Hollow.

Kaizoku: And because I LOVE breaking the things I love when they piss me off, I broke my tablet a few times, got an iPad, but sometimes it just has connection issues and it makes me want to break it so many more times than my TABLET OR PS4 WHENEVER EITHER OF THEM PISS ME OFF!
