a.n. This isn't really my pairing, but I decided that I'd give it a go. This is a response for the Harmony & Co Dramionarry Friday post.

Harry/Hermione/Draco

Title: Nothing Else Matters

The relationship had cost them dearly. Nobody understood that the three of them loved each other. They couldn't understand.

Some of them couldn't understand that there were three people in a relationship. It was something that hadn't happened in the wizarding world in almost 500 years.

Some couldn't understand how Harry and Hermione could have anything to do with Draco Malfoy. They'd say things like His father was a death eater, or He hates muggleborn. They couldn't understand that the young Malfoy scion had only been a product of his environment, and that he had changed. He'd grown up.

It had all started with the Weasleys. When Harry and Hermione (who had been dating since their sixth year at Hogwarts) had announced during a Weasley family dinner that they were taking a consort, they were met first with silence, and then disgust when they told who was joining in on their relationship. The Weasley's had a long-standing feud with the Malfoy clan, so it shouldn't have been surprising for Harry and Hermione to be shunned by the Weasleys after that dinner. But it had hurt.

Hermione's parents had disowned her when they'd found out about their "strange and unnatural" relationship. It had taken her a lot of time after that to come to terms with the fact that she'd lost her parents. But she would never regret her choice. She loved both of her men, and she always would.

Andromeda Tonks had hexed them out of her house when they'd told her. She also wouldn't let Harry have any contact with his godson. That had hurt Harry more than anything else, as he'd pledged to always be there for young Teddy.

Surprisingly, Narcissa Malfoy didn't have a problem with the relationship at all. She'd been the only one to congratulate them on their relationship and to wish them well.

Then the relationship had made the Prophet. Hermione quickly lost her job at the Ministry. The job she'd worked so hard to get and be successful at. Harry, who couldn't be fired because of his fame, had been demoted so far into the lowest tier of the Auror department that he rarely had anything to do. He had eventually tendered his resignation.

None of it mattered though. Not one bit. Why?

Because they loved each other. Harry and Hermione had been together for so long, their love wasn't surprising. They were one soul with two people, connected in heart and mind. They were happy with each other, and after the war they'd planned on spending the rest of their lives together.

Draco had come in when they'd decided they wanted to branch out in their sex life. They'd met him at a club, and one thing had led to another, and the three had woken the next morning still covered in the fluids of an amazing experience. Then it had happened again, and again, and slowly Draco had made a place for himself in their lives, until he belonged there. Forever.

It had been surprising that it had happened, but neither Harry nor Hermione would change anything about their relationship. The three spent all their time together, and were constantly growing closer to one another. Harry and Hermione married in the wizarding world a year after the fallout with the Weasleys, while Hermione and Draco married in the muggle world a few months later. Harry and Draco were content to know that the bonds that tied them together were strong and would last a lifetime.

The three lived and worked in the muggle world, away from everything they'd fought for. For all that they had lost, they were still very happy. Not one of them would change their lives and risk losing one of their partners. They'd spend their lives together, always. Nothing else mattered.
