"Mama?" Queen Elise smiled, turning to the tiny little Felicorn staring up at her, the small thing a bit unsteady on her tiny front paws and back hooves.

"Come here sweetheart." In response to her mother's request, the tiny thing trotted forward into the elder Felicorn's gentle paws. "Now, what are doing out of bed little Unikitty?"

"Foxy blew up the kitchen. She woke me up!" the tiny thing chirped. Elise chuckled, rubbing the top of her child's head playfully.

"I should tell that little vixen that just cause her mom's the royal scientist she doesn't get to blow the place up willy nilly." she sighed. "Richard's going to have a field day with her."

"Mama, why are you staring at the moon?" Unikitty asked.

"Because it's a full moon tonight sweetheart. We only get to see those about once a month or so. I do like to take the time to enjoy the littlest things like the full moon." Unikitty jumped up beside her, wobbling on her tiny feet.

"It's pretty." Unikitty chirped as she stared at the celestial body above them.

"Yes, it's beautiful, isn't, the stars as well. Do you see Orion?" Unikitty nodded excitably. "And look, there's the Lupus constellation!"

"It's a big doggy!" Unikitty giggled.

"Wolf dear. The Lupus is a wolf." The tiny Felicorn yawned, and Elise smiled. "Alright sweetie, off to bed with you, and don't wake your brother." She watched as the tiny thing stumbled down the stairs, a smile on the elder's face, only to be interrupted by a coughing fit. Covering her mouth with her paw, she pulled it back to see specks of blood covering her fur. She sighed. The doctor said she didn't have much longer but... These little moments she spent with her children made what limited time she had well worth it.

"Sis, why are you staring at the moon?" Unikitty answered without even turning.

"Because it's a full moon tonight. It's the littlest things that you have to enjoy the most." Puppycorn cocked his head.

"Who said that?"

"Mom did." That just confused him even more.

"We have a mom? How come I don't remember her?"

"Cause the last time we saw her, you were really really little." The young Canicorn hopped up to his older sister.

"What was mom like? Was she nice?"

"She was the nicest, most beautiful person you'd ever meet." Puppycorn cocked his head.

"Can you... Tell me about her?" Unikitty smiled.
