"Ze'ev?"

Jon glanced up, never creasing dragging his fingers across his dragon Ze'ev but turning his head to listen to his betrothed/cousin Robb. "Robb?"

Robb didn't speak for a moment before kneeling down to drag his fingers along side Jon's against Ze'ev scales which the dragon accepted. "I've always been curious. Why is your dragon named Ze'ev? I understand why you named Ghost his name but Ze'ev seems a weird name even by Targaryen norms." Robb asked softly. Jon giggled because it was true, he knew Ze'ev was a weird name for everything especially an dragon. He named his direwolf (his first courting gift from Robb because he felt like Jon needed his own piece of him and the North in the South) Ghost because he appeared like a Ghost even with his bright red eyes. "Well it kind of a family tradition, I guess."

"What do you mean?"

"Mhm. Well it's name truly a family tradition but it feels right. Viserys my father's brother named his dragon Drogon after his husband Drogo. Rhaenys named her dragon Rena which means joyous song after our father. Aegon named his dragon Elham after mama which stands for inspiring. I picked Ze'ev because it means wolf and that's what mom is. We never really understand it but the names feel right."

Robb nodded his head in understanding, "Now I understand. How I'm still confused on the meaning behind the names."

"Father used to sneaks us out of the castle on hard days when we were all fed up with lessons, traveling, dealing with the other lords and their children. As we walked down the streets meeting the people, merchants and everyone. Father would sing this song, 'The walk of the little dragons with their wolf' it was a story about us and our little adventures as children. It always brought a smile to our faces. Now father had started the tradition with Rhaenys long before me and Aegon appeared so I could understand why she her dragon hatched that she named him after father. Now Aegon dragon name is Elham which means inspiring because that's what mama is. Mama is inspiring. Mama is strong, powerful, I mean she and mom rules the Iron Throne that father sits on like it's nothing. Mama never backs down from anyone and I mean anyone. I think she even made Lord Lannister, Lord Greyjoy and Lord Bolton shut up one day in council with only a look. An I picked the name Ze'ev because it represents my mom. I know she calls me her little wolf but I'm still a dragon by the end of the day too. She's the only wolf in Kings Landing, she survived and thrived in it. She is my ideal leader including mama and father. I guess it was just the first name that came to my mind and it stuck."

Without thinking Robb leaned over pressing a kiss to Jon's temple smiling against his skull as Jon moved closer to his intended. "I love you Jon Targaryen."
