Sunset's friends have been killed off when they all decide to used there powers for good but right before her friend's death; her friends transfers all there powers to Sunset.

Sunset quit being a hero and only uses her power unless it concerns her.

Two years later the young justice is form but sadly Sunset doesn't want anything to do with heroes and has graduate from high school.

The young justice are fighting against poison Ivy and Joker but the young justice is knocked out but there is something Sunset can do.

As Robin and Artemis come to they see the Joker is getting ready to hit the team with laughing gas when Sunset uses her super speed and grabs the laughing gas.

" Kid Flash?"asked Robin, "not even close; this is the reason why I hate heroes; they are nothing but weaklings."said Sunset/Phoenix coldly.

"We are not, how would you know; unless you were a hero yourself."said Robin, " I was a hero known as Phoenix and along with my friends we were known as the mane seven." said Sunset/Phoenix.

That is when the rest of young justice comes to and sees Phoenix who is dress in orange jumpsuit with a orange ski mask that covers her lower part of her face and also wears a orange hat to cover most of hair except for a few strands of hair.

"Phoenix?"asked Artemis,"How do you know me?"asked Sunset/Phoenix.

"We have been looking for you to join us but sadly you disappear."said Robin,"I'm sorry but I won't join you at all."said Sunset as she gets ready to teleport away when the older heroes appears.

"Is that hero Phoenix?"asked Flash,"I'm the hero Phoenix but sadly I retired and was passing by and only decided to help just this once but I'm leaving good day."said Sunset/ Phoenix.

With that said Sunset/Phoenix teleports away and back into her apartment.

In chapter one we'll see if Sunset will become a hero or not.
