Hello! This is the first chapter, but I have rewritten it. My writing style has improved since I first wrote this, so I wanted new readers to not turn away when they see my old writing. I plan to rewrite an old chapter every two new chapters I write. The rewrites will show longer chapters, better grammar, and fewer inconsistencies. For new readers, this story has mostly manga-verse characters, with a few anime-verse characters. I don't normally like to mix them but there are only a few to support Ash, who I honestly don't remember why I made him the main character but whatever.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon or any vampire/supernatural creature book, movie, TV-show, etc.

All alone, like every other day. Ash walked down the street from his house. It's not that he didn't have friends, rather he preferred to be alone outside of school. Of course he liked his friends, but he liked his alone time more. However recently he's been liking spending more time with others. Deciding to ignore that thought, Ash looked around him. The sky was a light grey, covered with clouds that drizzled rain to the ground. The houses were bland and old, with peeling paint and neglected front yards.

"Hey, Ash" Ash turned to look at his friend Serena. It was rare she talked to him while he was walking to school, but today was the first day of eleventh grade, she hadn't seen him for a while.

"So, you got your schedule yet?" She asked. As she said that their other friend, White, walked up to them.

"Hey guys, I got mine." White replied

"Me too." Ash responded. They compared their schedules and saw that they all had the same lunch, Homeroom, first, and sixth periods together, Ash and White had the fourth period together, and Serena had second and fifth period with Ash.

Ruby looked at his schedule and saw that it was literally an exact copy of, in his opinion, the most annoying teen on earth, Gold. Gold has been annoying him since he moved to Lavender Town at the beginning of tenth grade. He would be less annoyed if Gold bothered everyone, but he just bothered Ruby. He saw the schedule on a group chat with Gold, Platinum, and himself, where they texted each other their schedules. Platinum had second, fifth, and sixth period with him and Gold. They all have the same lunch.

He didn't want Gold to have his phone number, but Platinum (unintentionally) gave it to him. Even though he hated Gold, he felt too bad to block him. Gold followed him around pretty much every day since tenth grade, flirting with him. If he had just gone to someone else to ask for directions, he might have enjoyed school. Somewhere, the counselors must be laughing.

The counselors suddenly stopped laughing to sneeze. They all looked at each other and shrugged it off. They had just finished telling Principle Agatha about the schedule they had copied as a prank.

Ash walked into the school, alone. Serena and White left to go see other people they haven't seen in a while. The halls were mostly white with a larger purple line across it, and two smaller black lines on both sides of the purple line. This paint was above the lockers, which were an ugly red color, not matching with the color scheme of the school. The lockers' paint was faded and chipping away, and was covered in vandalism. His favorite part of all was the school motto: "If you die, you'll be loved by your friends here forever." Yeah, what a great message. He can't die since technically he was already dead. He, Serena, and White are all vampires. Vampires all have red eyes, fangs that grow and shrink, and vervain is deathly to them. Vampires can compel humans and supernatural creatures to do things, but not other vampires.

Ash went to his locker, 121-C, C meaning Counselors' Hall. Unfortunately for him, the Counselors' Hall was literally the farthest place in the school from his Homeroom. If he didn't have enhanced speed, he would probably be late every day. At least locker relocation requests are open for the next two days. He'll have to do that.

Serena sat in the cafeteria. Dawn said she'd meet her there fifteen minutes ago, yet here she is, all alone. Looking over her schedule, she saw that her locker, 073-O, was not far from her first period. O stood for overlook because it overlooked the cafeteria. Sighing, Serena stood up to go to her locker. If Dawn didn't want to be on time, then she shouldn't have to wait for her. Dawn didn't know Serena knows this, but Dawn is a witch. Witches and vampires don't tend to get along well, because witches are all about nature and vampires are unnaturally eternally dead, so she's holding off on telling Dawn. Dawn was a witch so she can't die of old age. If she were half-witch half-mortal she would have an extended but not eternal life.

(Time-skip)

Approaching her locker, Serena saw Dawn next to her locker muttering something about being late. It was a little strange she was late. Dawn was always on time, and if someone else was late, they might as well not show up at all because they would have to experience Dawn's wrath.

"Oh hi Serena, I am so, so, so, sorry I am late, but I just had some studying to do and I-" Dawn was cut off

"Dawn, It's the first day of school, you can't be studying already!" Serena responded

"There's nothing wrong with wanting to get ahead." Dawn defended herself.

"There's wanting to get ahead and then there is being crazy." Serena joked. Dawn huffed and looked down to her schedule, comparing her classes to Serena's.

"Aww, it looks like we only have two classes and lunch together. Oh well, we'll make the most of it." Dawn said as she smiled and started walking. Although they don't have Homeroom together, it's in the same hall, so they could at least walk together.

"Well I'll see you second period!" Dawn yelled as she walked down the hall while I entered my class.

It's now time for lunch, and it's been a rough day. Ash just wanted to go home, but third period had only just finished. Vampires can't eat food, only blood. If they eat food, it makes them sick to their stomach. Ash, however, was able to eat, and he didn't know why. He doesn't complain though.

"Hey White, you want to go to Celadon Mall's food court!" Ash called out to White.

"Sure, just hold on a sec!" She yelled back. She pulled out her phone and texted Serena. Just then, Serena appeared next to them, having super-sped there.

"Alright, let's go." Serena said as she walked to the door. Ash, confused on what just happened, walked after her.

Serena arrived after speeding to the Celadon Mall. Ash arrived with White not far behind.

"Serena, your just so fast!" White yelled

"I had a good teacher." Serena said. However, as she said that, a look of confusion washed over her face. She shrugged it off and gestured the others to follow her. They walked into the mall, and decided to go to a clothing store. Ash browsed to shoe section, while Serena looked at hats with White.

Serena ended up getting a red hat with a black strip, White got nothing, and Ash got some new shoes. They payed, and then Ash led them to a bike shop. He walked in and then walked out five minutes later. He got a red skateboard with a black underside. White went into a book store, and came out with seven different books.

"You need to learn self-control White." Serena said while sighing

"I know, but I saw this cool book, and I was like 'I have to get that!' and then I realized it was part of a series, so I got the rest of the books in the series. After that, I was about to walk out when I saw there was a spin-off series, so I had to get that!" White told, out of breath. Serena and Ash sighed as they started towards the food court. They ate and then they sped back to school. They went back to the cafeteria on the way to their lockers.

"Hey! How did you guys get Celadon Mall shopping bags!"

Hey! How'd you like the story? I'd love to hear from you in either the reviews or a dm! Besides that, this chapter came out with the twelfth chapter, so be sure to read that to. But don't read it out of order! Anyways, I'll have a poll up soon about who yelled that last line. I might change who it is in the revised version of chapter two, so make sure you vote soon so I can rewrite the second chapter!
