The footsteps of Shinji, Gendo, Fuyutsuki rang out from the soft wet floors of the caves underneath NERV with rhythming speed, imprinting through the mud.

"How'd they catch up?!" Shinji screams like a little girl as they run away from Ultron's drones.

"Ultron must have sent them when he learned of our escape!" Fuyutsuki shouted as they ran through a tunnel as the drones started closing the gape.

Gendo pressed a detonator, collapsing the tunnel. They keep running as they didn't know wither or not they were trailing behind. After at least 5 hours of constant running, they hunkered down.

The three panted heavily while they slowed down for the night, their current location being a small cave near the exit of NERV, under some cables and pipelines where they were sure the drones hadn't checked.

"I think-" Fuyutsuki said between pants, "-we lost them."

Gendo replied in between pants, "Good. We'll stay here for the night."

Shinji nearly threw up, while the two men almost collapsed from the exhaustion
