Heyo I'm bringing a whole chapter for you guys to read, I feel like this story has a lot of promise and I want to make sure everyone is happy with it, so I'm going to put a lot more effort in pleasing all of you. ^_^

"Gingamosa?"

"Yes my child?"

"I'm confused on this whole 'prophecy' thing, why is it our duty to protect those we don't even know, if we just betray them?"

"Well… I guess it's just your purpose, I spent most of my life fighting wars with my nakama, whenever we went off to battle we knew we didn't stand a slimmer of a chance of winning…"

"But you always won, right?"

"Well… not always, but we always managed to pull through no matter what."

"So, the prophecy means that I have to find this 'nakama' and fight alongside them?"

"Of course, your duty as a member of a nakama is to protect them no matter what. If you cower away from this, then you have no place in a nakama."

"Of course! I'll never give up! Just wait and see Gingamosa, I'll make you proud… Wait a minute, aren't you the one who made the prophecy in the first place!?"

"Hahahaha, that doesn't mean it's not true little one. I made a mistake all those years ago and my entire family paid for it in their blood, with you I feel I can right those wrongs, the prophecy is meant to prove your destiny as a tragic hero. Now, let's get back to what we were doing."

"I'm not gonna back down Gingamosa, come at me with everything you've got."

"Nice try kid, right now you have some studying to do."

"Aw man, give me a break!"

"Hahahaha!"

"So… where are you from stranger," Bobo asked, worried that he had just given a freakshow passage to Galuna Island. I mean you can't blame him, if you were asked by a man in pitch black garb that he requires a transport to the cursed Demon Island, you would of course wonder why anyone other than an S-class mage on the guild quest would want to go to the island.

"I have business with a demon, they just so happen to be on that island," the black clad man said in a terribly raspy voice. He raised his head showing his normal right eye, and his abnormal left one. The man in question wore a incredibly tight duster coat over a magenta shirt, black pants tucked into equally dark boots, a face mask covering his nose and mouth, and to top it all off a black fedora with a magenta rim on top of his flowing hair. The most peculiar part of his person was his left eye, which seemed to be the center for black cracks surrounding it and completely black save for the glowing purple iris.

Bobo noticed that the man was unusually stiff with his arms crossed across his toned chest, "Oh, so you know some of the natives then, I used to live on the island before things got a little to crazy for me, I mean people turning into demons, insane even in a world of magic."

"Hmph," was the only response given to the sailor.

"I don't think I got your name stranger, who doth paid me to traverse these shark infested waters?" Bobo asked as he straightened the boat's trajectory.

"...You can call me Dragneel," the now introduced Dragneel replied.

"Dragneel huh, that name sounds familiar… bah doesn't matter, look we're almost to Galuna Island," sure enough the mysterious figure looked past the sailor and noticed the oddly shaped island.

"Looks like our business is done then, I appreciate the ride," Dragneel responded before leaning off the side of the boat and falling into the waters below.

Bobo was a little confused and a little concerned after Dragneel didn't appear in the water. After a minute of shouting Dragneels name Bobo noticed a large shadow overlooking his ship. He slowly looked up to see a giant wave ready to slam into his boat.

"Well shit."

Dark Void walked out of the lukewarm ocean onto the warm sandy beach of Galuna Island muttering something about boats and demon sailors. He took some time to dry off his public clothing before making his way into the jungle that surrounded the beach.

Dark Void closed his eyes and focused on the unique demonic presence on the island. Thinking he had found Deliora, Dark Void made his way to the middle of the island. He walked for a couple of minutes until he came across a large wooden spiked gate blocking him from moving forward.

"Halt!" a cloaked figure on top of the gate ordered. He was flanked by another cloaked figure and they both pointed spears at the possible intruder.

Dark Void wasn't about to follow orders from someone completely below him, that would be too out of character for him, so he decided to do the exact opposite and charge headfirst into the wooden gate, crashing straight through it with only a few mild concussions.

"Fuck you," he said as he flipped off the two postman. He then turned and noticed that he had found himself in the middle of a dozen spears. He slowly raised his hands in a show of surrender and looked around for a quick way to escape.

"What is all this commotion!" an elderly voice exclaimed as a small hunched over sage of a man with incredible sideburns walked through the barricade of blades and looked up to Dark Void. "Who are you and what are you doing to our village!?"

Dark Void lowered his hands and took a look around the village. He was confused on the weird magic all the villagers were emitting. It was like some sort of illusion or transformation magic like that sailor was using… or subconsciously using?

"My name is Dragneel, I'm a travelling mage that came to this village because I heard rumors of a curse placed on this island and I want to help break it," the dark mage lied masterfully. At his false explanation, the armed villagers lowered their spears slightly. Dark Void saw this and smirked under his face mask.

"At night the moon turns purple and turns us into demons, the process corrupts us and leaves us part demon even during the day," the elder closed his eyes as tears started to well, "some of us became crazy, convinced we were demons, and we had to kill them. My own son Bobo was one who fell to this wicked curse."

Dark Void watched as the old man showed his blue taloned arm from under his cloak. A sense of unease filled his head at the fact that all the villagers had a part of their body that was deformed into demon hide.

"Please Mr. Dragneel... please save us from our fate, if you have the power to do so... please destroy the moon!" there was a pause for effect before a snort came from the masked intruder. Said intruder walked around the spears and started to walk through the crowd across the village.

"I'll stop this curse for yah gramps, but I've got to do some investigating before I do anything rash like that. If I'm not back in two days, I've failed the mission."

With that, Dark Void left the village and left towards the sacred temple of the island. The sun had set a few minutes later, and the shining purple moon transformed the villagers into full blown demons. They only hoped that they wouldn't experience it anymore, they hoped this stranger in black could save them.

Dark Void is a man who always thinks with his instincts, always trusting himself before others. That's why he never gets surprised or defeated, his instincts are so sharp that he can prepare for things sometimes weeks in advance because he felt those things coming. Hell, he even based his fighting style on those instincts. However, Dark Void had no idea that he would come across a giant beast.

"Oh, what the fuck!" a giant rat jumped out of the brush of the jungle wearing a giant made outfit tailored to her size. "Dear god, you are one ugly motherfucker," Dark Void exclaimed as he pointed the palm of his hand towards the proning rodent. "Dying Star," with the murmur of the incantation, a large black orb coated in purple lightning appeared right next to the giant vermin, the orb suddenly expanded twenty times its original size in a flurry of sparks. The orb crashed into the rodent and everywhere it touched started to decay and fall into it.

The rat fell to the ground with muscle and blood showing from its left side. Dark Void stared at it for a couple of seconds before marching the rest of the way to the temple. After a few more minutes of walking, he finally made it to the temple. He made his way inside and noticed the runes on the side of the walls. "Interesting…" the runes and pictures detailed were old and broken, but Void could make out some of it.

"Hmm… demons came to the island… ruler disappeared… temple built for the summoning of the master," the more he read the more he grew concerned. "Humans came… war broke… holy spell placed on the temple… demons left in a pluto… new ruler was elected and-" Dark Void couldn't finish the sentence before the floor gave out from under him.

"Shiiiiiiiiiiiit!" Dark Void yelled as he surfed down the tunnel underneath the temple. He landed on hard rock and felt his arm pop out from his shoulder. "OW!" he yelled as he pulled himself off the floor onto his knees. He took one glance at his arm before he popped it back in his shoulder with a grunt.

He took a look around and quickly noticed that he was in a large cave connected to a large tunnel system. Though none of that really mattered at the moment, because the giant demon covered in ice was making it hard to see anything else.

Void smiled, "Found you, yah giant bastard," Dark Void walked towards the demon but before he did anything, he felt a rumbling on his waist. He immediately pulled out a communication lacrima and tapped it to receive the call.

"Evening Void, I was able to successfully capture Lullaby in his dormant state."

"Very good Light Bringer I didn't doubt you for a second, now we have the first part of the puzzle in our grasp. Prep it for experimentation."

"I'll do as I please Void, without my knowledge this whole plan of yours would fall apart at the seams, would do well to remember that fact. Of course you are all good on your part right?"

"I've found Deliora, he is just as father explained to us, frozen alive in Galuna Island."

"You will deal with this, correct? I don't want all these years of preparation to be for nothing."

"I've already got a plan, just keep Fairy Tail away from the island. Dark Void over and out."

Dark Void put the lacrima back in his pocket and suddenly saw a large magic circle appear on the roof above Deliora, it shot a beam of pure purple light straight onto the ice casing. Dark Void furrowed his brows as he realized almost instantly what spell was being cast.

He launched himself into the third tunnel on his left. How did he know where to go you might ask? Pure instinct.

He made his way above ground and climbed the treacherous side of the temple to get to the top. He reached his destination and hid behind some of the debris from the ruined rooftop. He watched from afar as low tier mages in white robes chanted in sync with one another to form a magic circle in the center of them all.

The spell being performed was none other than Moon Drip, a powerful dispeller ritual that can "uncast" any spell no matter how powerful. And they were using it to release the Demon of Destruction Deliora himself from the Iced Shell that was cast on him all those years ago.

Dark Void considered all his options and decided to confront them head on. So he charged two magic orbs in his hands and lept out of his hiding spot to attack the mages. He instantly dropped three as he landed and in the confusion and panic killed the rest before any of them had a chance to counter attack.

Without anyone keeping the ritual going, the magic circle faded away into nothingness. Dark Void turned to retreat back into the cave system before a slight tingle on the back of his neck made him step to the side. He heard a whistle pass by his right ear, then an explosion of ice destroyed his entrance, and his exit. He turned to see five new figures appear in the center of all the corpses.

The one who seemed to have shot the ice blast at Dark Void spoke first, "I leave for ten minutes to prepare for Delioras reawakening, and I come back to see my underlings dead and a dark figure in what is admittedly an awesome coat leaving to cause more mayhem."

A short man with incredible eyebrows and blue hair spoke next, "It seems that this mystery person wishes to impede our progress. Let's complete the ritual ourselves Lyon."

The woman with pink hair made a giant rock golem from her surroundings and charged towards the man in black. "That would be lovely."

Dark Void sighed in exasperation and launched with supersonic speed towards the unsuspecting maiden. He blasted the rock puppet apart with a single kick. The maiden fell to the ground right in front of Dark Void. He raised his fist to deliver a final punch to her face, only to have it interrupted by a blue shield that formed around her.

"Sherry, get out of there!" eyebrows exclaimed as he started to advance towards Dark Void. He formed two shields around his hands and charged at the dark assailant and gave Sherry enough time to retreat from her position. He locked hands with Void and let his Wave Magic repel most of the force Void was trying to apply.

Dark Void suddenly backed off of the arm lock, the action caught Yuka by surprise and off balance. Dark Void punished this by slamming his fist into his gut, sending flying.

"Interesting, I haven't seen such a risky fighting style before, and his magic signature. This man is very interesting indeed," The green haired man wearing a mask said as he started the Moon Drip ritual again.

Dark Void saw this and made a beeline towards him, only to be stopped by a man with long green nails and dog-like features. "Paralysis Claw: Mega Jellyfish, ooooon!" He rushed at Void and slashed with his nails trying to slash and paralyze him.

"Hey, wait," Dark Void said as he dodged another slash from the man-dog. Surprisingly he stopped his slashes, giving Dark Void a chance to talk, "What's that on your head?" Dark Void asked as he pointed to his own forehead. The slashing claw man reached up to see what Dark Void was talking about, only to pierce his head with his claws and paralyze himself.

"This has been fun but… I have a demon to capture, sooooo," Dark Void raised his arms to his sides and a pitch black magic circle formed above him, "Dark Sting," as he finished the incantation hundreds of small black and magenta projectiles shot out of the magic circle and towards the ice mage.

"Wave" Yuka shouted, a giant magic repelling barrier shot up and sent the spell right back at Dark Void. Void raised his arms in front of him to have some defense from the rebound attack. The spell landed and caused a huge cloud of smoke and dust to kick up and obscure the opposing side's vision.

"Yuka keep that barrier up, Sherry make us some back up, and Zalty keep the Moon Drip going, Deliora is almost ready to rise," the ice mage commaded. With a short yessir everyone went to work and did as they were told.

Void walked out of the cloud with his coat in tatters and his left eye glowing with malice, "You know, without my armor I'm about twice as fast by not nearly as protected… I think I'll take you guys seriously now."

Dark Voids outfit started to ripple and morph, disappearing in a poof of smoke, and in its place was his signature black armor and V shaped visor. "You guys are so screwed now."

Lyon took one look at the armor and made a face of pure terror, "Everyone, go," his followers protested but Lyon cut them off, "I'll buy you all enough time to get out of here, to continue our dream of killing Deliora."

Yuka and Sherry grabbed Toby by his arms and legs and dragged him away to the shore for all three of them to escape. However, Zalty ignored the order and kept the Moon Drip ritual going. Lyon was about to yell at Zalty to forget the ritual, but he didn't get the chance before Void appeared right in front of Lyon threw a right hook at his head.

Lyon barely had enough time to throw up some ice spikes as a defense. Dark Void shattered it and lifted his left arm for another strike. Lyon saw this and sent an ice blast at Dark Void and grew the distance between them.

Lyon realized very quickly that if he was going to have any chance to beat the infamous Dark Void, he was going to need every edge he could get. He reached into his white cape and brought out a black and white pill. "Deliora is incredibly powerful, even at my best I might not stand a chance against him. I was able to obtain this magic enhancing pill to help me defeat him, but it should be enough to destroy you," with that Lyon plopped the pill and gulped it down.

An explosion of cold air erupted from Lyon as his hair and skin started to grow frosty and the ground started to freeze over. He clasped both of his hands together in the original Ice Make stance. "Ice Make: Snow Dragon," a giant eastern dragon made of ice burst through the ground to attack Dark Void. He retaliated by coating his arm with his magic and slashing downward on the dragon's head, destroying it instantly. He looked up to see more ice animals launching towards him.

"Dying Star," and just like before, the spell disintegrated everything it touched and destroyed all the ice beasts. "Hahahaha you're gonna have to do a lot better than that."

"Fine!" Lyon shouted as he conjured flocks of birds, packs of wolves, herds of bulls, and all things in between, "Ice Make Ultimate: Wild Stampede!"

The stampede flew at Dark Void with devastating power. The birds pecked, the crocodiles snapped, and all the wild animals assaulted him with unified attacks. Dark Void coated his body with his magic and killing intent, but whenever he destroyed an ice beast three more were created. Eventually he was overrun by the sheer number of assailants, drowned by the sea of frozen animals.

Lyon started to feel the ground rumble beneath his feet, "Deliora must have been freed, I have to get down there quick before I sober up." The only problem with magic enhancing pills besides the fact that they're highly addictive, is the fact that as soon as you sober up you can't use magic for at least a week.

Lyon started to walk away from the hordes of animals that were tearing Void apart, building up his magic power as he walked, when a distorted voice from the center of the horde spoke up.

"You aren't getting off that easy asshole," a powerful blast of black and magenta wiped out all of Lyons creations to reveal Dark Void with an aura of death being absorbed into his form. His muscles grew and bulged, stretching out the armor he wore, the spikes on the armor sharpened and glowed magenta at tips, his cape tattered and tore near the end from the magic he was letting out.

"Black Hole Dragons: Collapsing Star!" Dark Void shot a small orb next to Lyon, causing everything in the vicinity to get pulled between the attack. Lyon secured himself to the ground with ice, but wasn't prepared for the singularity to explode like Dark Voids Dying Star attack did.

Lyon was flung across the temple top from the blast, battered and bruised but not to hurt. He was frozen by the overwhelming power that was being exerted around that man. He realized that he just didn't have the power necessary to beat the mage, even with the pill. He didn't have the power to beat Deliora, if he couldn't beat Dark Void.

"Oh? Finally get a reality check? Hahahaha, that's hilarious! It's even funnier that you haven't noticed that Deliora has been dead for all these years."

Just as Void said that Lyon noticed the ground hadn't been shaking in a while, 'What? No… NO! How can it be dead, Iced Shell isn't that type of spell. HOW!?'

"You know, anything preserved in ice without food, water, or oxygen for years, would have died not soon after." Dark Void explained as he floated in the air using his magic. He watched Lyon as his face twisted into that of realization. The lower part of Dark Voids visor retracted showing his shark-like teeth "I think it's time we ended this, Black Hole Dragons: ROAR!"

Sherry, Toby, and Yuka watched in horror from their escape boat as a giant beam of black magic with magenta lightning disintegrated half of the temple. They wept at the realization that their friend had just perished. They didn't even notice that a similar beam shot towards the sky and destroyed an invisible dome overlooking the island.

They wept as they sailed all the way back to land. After they had grieved the loss of their friend, they decided to join a guild to make a living. Never forgetting their grudge against Dark Void.

Lyon woke up with a shock, he looked around and noticed he was in a dark room with bandages wrapped around his wounds. He was drowsy, the withdrawal of using the pill was present in his system.

"You're finally awake, good," a voice from the corner of the room spoke, "I was surprised at the amount of strength you showed, more impressive the determination you have. I didn't kill you for a reason Lyon, I think that with some guidance, you can become more powerful than Ur, Deliora, everyone."

Lyon saw Dark Void extend a hand towards him, "Do you want that power, Lyon?" Lyon was hesitant, but he grasped the hand in a firm shake, "Excellent! We begin training after you get better."

Lyon was drowsy and going through a withdrawal, so you have to forgive him when asked such a ridiculous question, "What's with the pink hair?"

Thanks for reading. Bye! ^_^
