Chapter .6.
The Next Day…
Gill, Wanda, Wayne and Eunice all enjoyed themselves last night and it was truly wonderful and surprising to see Mavis here. And that she owned the WHOLE hotel. They couldn't still understand where she got all the money from. What off the Hotel they had seen must off cost billions or billions off dollars.
But also Gill, Wanda, Wayne, and Eunice still wondered what happened to Mavis and Johnny. They had thought on it and realised Mavis's eyes looked so much older then they did when they last saw her. They also kind off looked haunted.
They decided to leave Deziree today and look around properly and hoping to find answers.
They started looking at the bottom floor. Which had the Church's, Restaurants and the Casino. To name a few places. They saw how Mavis let all different religions have a place here and all different types off Restaurants.
The Casino was a large place. With so much to offer.
"Can I help you?" a female asks
They see a woman who looked like Mavis approaching them
"You're a daughter of Mavis and Johnny aren't you kid?" Wayne asks
"Yes I am. My name is Epiphany. And I am far from being a kid", Epiphany tells them
"Can you tell us about the Casino?" Eunice asks
"Of course. I am the Manager of the Casino", Epiphany tells them
"Do all your mother and fathers children work here?" Wanda asks
"Yes we do. We are nearly ALL the Managers", Epiphany informs them
"That is interesting", Eunice asks
Epiphany shrugs, "We ALL still went to school and collage to get our degrees or masters in our chosen area. Mum insisted on that. And so did we. We wanted to prove that we are qualified to actually be mangers"
"So what does the Casino have?" Wayne asks
"We have 30 roulette tables, 40 poker tables, 35 blackjack tables, 20 craps tables, baccarat, video poker and 80 different poker machines. We also have Horse Racing beating centre", Epiphany explains, "The Casino is one off the main sources off income for the Hotel"
"So do you do anything else in the Casino dear?" Wanda asks
"We have an annual Blackjack and Poker Tournament. The Blackjack tournament is help in Summer and the Poker and tournament is held in Winter. There is $3,000,000 cash prize for the Blackjack tournament and 4,000,000 prize money in the Poker Tournament", Epiphany explains.
They talk a bit more.
"So we met Martha, Ainslee, Gypsy, Astoria, Jesabella, Mystic, Rhys, Jason, Mark, Noel and Lunabella and off course Dennis. Are they your only siblings?" Wanda asks
"No. There are dozens and dozens off us. Being birthed over a few decades", Epiphany informs them
"How many?" Wanda asks, "If you don't mind me asking"
"There are exactly 200 off us. I believe Lunabella told you that", a voice says
They turn to see Dennis waking over to them with Winnie by his side.
"Mavis and Johnny put us too shame", Wayne whistles.
"Do you love having such a big family?" Gill asks
"We love it. Always someone there to talk too when we need it", Epiphany replies
"Epiphany this is my zing Winnie", Dennis says, "Winnie this is one of my sisters Epiphany"
"Nice to meet the girl that stole my brothers heart from when he was young", Epiphany says smirking
"Thanks Sis", Dennis replies sarcastically blushing
"Pleasure too meet you", Winnie says to Epiphany as she hugs Winnie.
"So I had your heart from when you were a kid?" Winnie asks a blushing Dennis
"Yes you did. I have known for a while your my Zing", Dennis reveals
"So why didn't you come back?" Winnie asks
"I was needed here", Dennis replies and decides to change the subject.
He didn't want them to know the truth and he knew his mother wasn't ready for them to know.
"Now would you like for me to give you a better tour?" Dennis asks offering his service.
"Please Mum, Dad, Aunt Eunice, Gill", Winnie begs
"That would be helpful. If you don't mind Dennis", Gill agrees.
"Of course I don't mind. I have missed you. So this way", Dennis replies, "See you Epiphany"
"Bye brother. Wayne, Wanda, Eunice, Gill and Winnie", Epiphany says waving them goodbye.
They work through the Casino and Dennis points to the Cage. And his sister Fortuna.
"Do you have any other Night Clubs like the Radiance Club we went too?" Gill asks
"Yes we have 16 different night clubs including Radiance. There is Mythica, Twilight, Lunaspell, Chaos, The Howling, Golden Moon, Silver Sun, Eclips, Music Forest, Snowblue, Ruby Spirit, Loves Night, Summer Heart, Autumn Falls and Waterfall. They are completely different in design to each other. Mum designed they too be reflect difference. Ruby Spirit is in reds and golds, Summer Heart is in golds, yellows and light reds. Snowblue is in light blues and whites, Music Forest is in green and yellows, Silver Sun is in silver, white and grey, Golden Moon is in golds, oranges and silvers. Loves Heart is in pinks, golds and blacks. Eclipis is in blacks, golds, and dark blues. The Howling is in dark violets, grey and silvers. Chaos is in blacks and golds, Waterfall is in blues and teals. Lunapsell is in yellows, oranges and violets. Mythica is in violets, dark blues and turquoises. And Twilight is in silvers, blues, blacks and greys. Autumn Falls are in reds, oranges, golds and yellows. Everyone comments on the designs that match their names", Dennis explains
"So Mavis designed just the Clubs?" Eunice asks
Dennis laughs, "She designed that WHOLE hotel. From the underground rooms to the highest floors and to the grounds. She designed the 25 different types off rooms"
They were shocked at that. THEIR Mavis designed it all? What about Johnny?
"This hotel has been given awards for decades. Because Mum keeps it fully updated to the times. Including the holographic computers and screens", Dennis continues
"This is truly amazing", Winnie says, "So you have always lived here?"
"I have. Well since four years after we left Hotel Transylvania", Dennis replies, "We stayed close by while it was being constructed. Construction started three years after we left"
"Did we offend Mavis last night in some way?" Wanda asks as they were shown around.
"Why would you like to know?" Dennis asks carefully
"It is just she left kind off fast", Gill replies
"You didn't offend her", Dennis replies
"Then what?" Wayne asks
"That is not my story to tell. Just give Mum time", Dennis replies, "Now I'll show you the grounds"
Dennis says changing the subject.
When they go out the see the grounds stretched on for what liked like half a mile. The grounds were beautiful.
"We have two 18 hole golf courses and several sports courts…", Dennis replies reeling off what they were.
"This is amazing. Your Mum is really talented", Winnie says to her Zing.
"Thank you Winnie", a voice says
They turn to see Mavis and another woman walking up to them.
"Morning everyone. This is my bestfriend Nayeli", Mavis says introducing the woman
They exchange pleasantries.
"Did you enjoy the rest off your night?" Mavis asks
"We did. You have done well for yourself", Wanda says
"Why did you build it?" Eunice asks
"I designed it and named it because for people to find their Zing. As I believed everyone should have a change to find one", Mavis replies
"That is definitely like you", Wanda replies smiling, "You are so kind"
"Thanks Aunt Wanda", Mavis replies
"Can we ask you a question?" Gill asks
"You just did. But you can. I can't promise an answer though", Mavis replies
"Why have you stayed away from Drac all those decades?" Eunice asks
Mavis looks out over her Hotel Lands.
"Because I haven't forgiven him yet", Mavis replies honestly
"Forgiven him?" Wayne asks confused
"That I can't tell you", Mavis replies
"He misses you. He had moped around his hotel since the day you left", Wayne informs her
"He has nobody to blame but himself", Mavis states
They wondered what happened to make Mavis so angry at her father. What did Drac do to make his daughter hate him?
"He will be coming her", Eunice states
"I know. And THAT is the time he will find out I am here. Not before", Mavis replies firmly
"Why?" Winnie asks
"Just give me your word you won't tell him", Mavis says to them her eyes like steal, "Otherwise you won't be allowed in this hotel"
"We agree", Gill says not wanting to upset his fiancée
"Good. Enjoy the hotel. Maybe Wanda, Eunice and Winnie should go to the spa", Mavis suggests
"Why don't you come with us?" Wanda asks
Mavis didn't want to say no. She DID what to have them back as family. But could she really do it?
'You can do anything my strong Mavy. Your stronger then you believe', Johnny whispers to her.
Mavis lets out a smile. She loved it when she could hear Johnny's voice it was like he was still here with her.
"Nayeli will come too then", Mavis states deciding.
"Agreed. It will give us a chance to get to know her", Wanda states
"Can Deziree come with you?" Gill asks
"Of course. It can be a girls day before you head out in two days", Mavis agrees
The women smile. They hoped they could get more information out of Mavis at the Spa. They hoped Mavis would let down her guard.
As they could see the barriers she put up to protect herself.
The question was why were those barriers needed. Why would she need to protect herself? Who was she protecting herself from? Did this have something to do with Dracula or Johnny.
And the question was where was Johnny?
