A frown on her face, Ariel stepped out of her carriage, arriving at a small French graveyard. Nothing could be heard except for the singing of a few birds and the rustling of the wind blowing through the trees.

She slowly entered the graveyard, looking around for Claudia's grave. She spotted in the distance someone standing motionless by a grave, and so she decided to walk over there silently. As she got closer, the redhead could see that that person was Reginald, staring down blankly at his deceased beloved.

Despite herself, Ariel shuddered, the sudden thought of either her or Eric standing just like this in the future crossing her mind. She shook her head quickly as a chill ran down her spine, pushing the dark thought from her mind as she said a silent prayer it wouldn't be soon. She took a step forward and laid down the bouquet of bright red roses by the headstone.

The redhead took a step back, folding her hands as she remembered Claudia. When they first met and Claudia had had such a fascination with Ariel's hair, her bubbly, childlike personality, and the joyous mood that she brought with her wherever she went.

Ariel exhaled, a small tear rolling down her cheek. She reached over and touched Reginald's shoulder briefly out of sympathy, leaving the poor lover to grieve alone.
