Is it a miracle that I'm posting anything at all? Kind of. Writer's block is not fun.

Flustered
Ladybug stood alongside Chat Noir as they overlooked the Parisian streets.
"Hard to believe this place was overrun with zombies earlier today, huh?" he remarked, a laugh in his voice as he gave her a cheeky smile.
Unsurprisingly, it seemed they were on the same wavelength once again. Ladybug hummed, considering just how dangerous the situation had been.
Her lips curved up into a smile when she remembered just how much faith everyone put in her. They were all counting on her to save the day, and their positivity played no small role in her ability to get the job done.
Her mouth tugged down in a frown as she recalled her least favorite parts of the battle. Specifically, when Chat Noir had risked himself to buy her some time. Consequently, she couldn't get their resulting conversation out of her head. She recalled promising him something while he was under the influence of the akuma, and Ladybug smirked as she made a split second decision to follow through.
"You might not remember, but when you were a zombie you were very insistent on getting a kiss from me," Ladybug drawled, loving the way his eyes widened innocuously.
"Uh, that's what the akumatized person's power was, right?" Chat Noir asked, green cat eyes wide and innocent.
Ladybug nodded, "Yes, but while you were chasing me around, I told you that you'd get your kisses after I finished using my Lucky Charm."
Chat Noir barked out a laugh, "My Lady! How dare you lie to a dazed and confused gentleman?"
Ladybug smirked and stepped forward until their faces were inches apart.
"Who said I was lying?" she asked.
Chat Noir gulped as she continued to lessen the distance between them. She almost laughed at how completely intimidated he looked as she stared him down. Her gloved hands came up to cup his face, and she heard Chat Noir's breathing hitch when she pressed a delicate kiss to his cheek.
He obviously expected her to pull away directly afterward, but she surprised him by placing another kiss on his other cheek. His mouth formed a little 'o' of surprise, and she wondered if she should place a third one there while her hands were still on either side of his head.
"Bugaboo?" he whispered, and something that looked terrifyingly like love glimmered in his eyes.
His adoring expression immediately reminded her why giving him a proper kiss would be a horrible idea. Ladybug hoped her cheeks weren't too flushed as she stepped away from her partner.
His brow furrowed in an adorably puzzled way as he watched her go. Ladybug gave him a sweet smile and shrugged.
"I said kisses. Plural. Think of it as a thank you," she said.
Chat Noir responded with a dopey grin and brought his hands up to cover his burning cheeks. Ladybug giggled at the look on his face, and then turned toward the edge of the roof. She tossed out her yoyo and glanced back at him over her shoulder.
"See you later, Kitty," she called.
"See you later, My Lady," he replied easily.
Satisfied that he wasn't going to keel over in her absence, Ladybug tugged on her yoyo string and allowed it to pull her into the air. Ladybug very pointedly did not think about Chat Noir's blushing face all the way home. However, Marinette might have spent a quite a while telling Tikki how flustered he was.
