HALLEY'S P. O. V

She remained still while Lillian was combing a section of her hair, her blue eyes focused on how the red sun lamps made the wall that was in front of her shine, frowning a little when the leader of CADMUS took a pair of scissors from a table.

"Don't move, okay?" the woman told her, she she didn't even nod.

She couldn't avoid whimpering when the scissors cut her brown hair, not being able to look down to see the hair strands that were on the floor.

"How is it going?" Lex asked while entering the room. "Is it ready for surgery?" he questioned her mom as she shivered because of his words.

"Almost ready" Lillian answered as he walked to stand in front of her, his hand on her chin, keeping her head in place.

For a few seconds she panicked when she heard that buzzing sound, fighting against him to get rid of the grip as she didn't really trust what was going to happen, but he didn't let go.

"Stop, it won't hurt you" he told her, but she knew that she shouldn't trust him. "Do it" he nodded to his mother.

She closed her eyes at the feeling of tickles that went through the left side of her head, only daring to touching it when she stopped hearing the buzzing, they had shaved a small section of her hair.

"Okay, you're ready" he said while picking her up from the chair, carrying her to the room she hated the most.

Lex laid her down on the table, quickly turning on the red sun lamps before feeling a needle piercing her skin in her left arm.

She frowned while observing how he took a mask to put it closer to her face, turning her head kind of scared.

"I prefer you asleep, but if you don't want to, that's fine with me" he commented, giving her a few seconds to decide, ending up turning her head. "Good, now breathe, in and out" Lex ordered her, so she did as told, feeling a little light headed. "Sweet dreams, Kryptonian" those were the last words she heard before being carried away by unconsciousness.

KARA'S P. O. V

She sighed while observing how her teenage cousin was leaving the lab, part of her wanting to follow her, but at the same time she knew that the girl needed some time alone.

"Where is Halley going?" her sister asked her.

"I don't know" she answered while shrugging, her hearing focused on listening her cousin's heartbeat to make sure that she was still close to the building.

"You're following her, aren't you?" Alex looked at her also worried about the teen.

"I'm giving her a few minutes" she explained, frowning a little when her cousin started to distance herself from the building. "I'm gonna go, if you find him, call me, please" she asked her sister before leaving the lab.

After a few seconds, she landed in her apartment, observing how the teen was sitting on the couch with her legs close to her chest as her bright blue eyes remained closed.

"Hal" she named her, not wanting to scare her, but the teenager opened her eyes eyes with fear. "Hey, it's me" she told her as her cousin relaxed. "Are you okay?" she asked while approaching her.

"I don't know" Halley shrugged as she sat down beside her. "I feel helpless" the teen admitted in just a whisper.

"You did what you could to stop him, sweetie" she told her, but her cousin shook her head.

"I can't remember anything" the girl looked away kind of upset. "And Rao knows what Lex is doing to her..., to me" the eighteen year old pointed to herself, to what she frowned a little.

"Is that what you're concerned about?" she asked her, not sure if Halley wanted to talk about it, but observing how the girl nodded slightly.

"It's been four days... When Red Daughter I was able to tell you what I knew about it, but this time..." her cousin's voice cracked. "I'm so scared of what he might be doing, of the recovery" the teen admitted as she wrapped her arms around her.

She pulled the teenager close to her while looking for the right words, for the first time being aware of her cousin's emotional scars, those that the girl fought so hard to cover, but under all that fierce and bravery was just a broken girl, who really needed help.

Her heart broke as she realized that maybe her future self never talked with the teen about those subjects, but knowing that for the girl it was hard to talk about and that even with eight years old, her cousin, had been avoiding the topic.

"I still have nightmares from the other time, it's been eleven years and I still remember it so clearly" Halley commented, trying to pull away, but she didn't let her.

"What do you remember?" she asked hoping for her cousin to keep talking, even if what she was going to hear would upset her even more.

"Everything" the teen answered. "The lights, the smell, every single sound, the pain... And blood, I remember blood" Halley listed with tears in her eyes. "It was horrible, Kara" her cousin told her.

"I know, sweetheart, I am so sorry you went through all of that" she kissed the teenager's head, keeping her as close as possible.

"But now I don't remember anything of what he's doing and I don't know what's going to happen once those memories return to me" Halley explained as she frowned a little, not being sure of what she should answer. "I feel so lost" the teen admitted in just a whispered.

"Hey, you're not lost, baby, we just have to figure out how you got here" she pulled her away, wiping the first tears that were streaming down her cousin's cheeks.

"I think I can help you with that" both of them turned their heads, when they heard someone talking, her eyes widening at the sight of her future self. "Oh, Halley, baby, you don't know how long I've been looking for you" her other self said while walking closer to them, her cousin observing both of them as she didn't trust the whole situation.

Halley looked at her for a few seconds before staring at her Kara's time, getting up from the couch to approach her, not doubting about throwing her arms around the woman.

"I thought you were dead" the teen murmured as she was able to find relief in the face of her future self, who was holding the girl as tight as possible. "Am I... Am I really dead?" her cousin asked while pulling away, fear written all over her face.

"You don't remember anything, right?" her future self questioned the teenager, who shook her head. "I think I'm the reason for that, I time traveled to the past to save you, but you did it too and clearly your memories of this Earth disappeared" the woman explained as she frowned.

"You used the Legion ring, just like when the Worldkillers" she pointed out while getting up from the couch, understanding a little bit better the reason why her cousin had been sent back in time.

"Yeah, but it went wrong" future Kara answered. "We're going to be back at that moment, I'm not sure if you will be able to remember it, but I promise you that everything will be alright... You will be alright" her older self grabbed the teen by her shoulders, seeing how Halley nodded before turning to look at her.

"Thank you for everything" the girl told her with a little smile, to what she couldn't avoid smiling back.

"Anytime, Hal" she embraced her, wanting to hug her one last time before not seeing her again. "You're an amazing hero, Flamebird" she told her, tucking her brown hair behind her ears. "Be careful, okay?" she asked her, getting the teen to nod. "Love you" she kissed her forehead.

"Love you too" her cousin answered shortly before pulling away.

"Kara" her future self called her, so she looked at her. "You will find her, just don't give up hope, she's waiting for you" the woman told her as they were about to leave.

"Wait, Is there anything you can tell me?" she asked, feeling desperated, she needed to find her baby cousin.

"Red Daughter" it was the last thing she heard as they disappeared from her apartment.

She frowned at the answer, Was Red Daughter alive? Would she have to battle her again?

She flew back to the lab, feeling a little sad knowing that she wouldn't be seeing her teenage version of her cousin anymore, but relieved that the girl was back in her time.

"What happened? Where is Halley?" her sister asked the moment she walked inside.

"She's back in her time" she answered with a little bit of sadness, her sister being surprised by the information. "My future self appeared and took her back to the Future..." with each word Alex was staring at her even more confused. "I know, it's kinda weird, but she's safe" she smiled, hoping that everything would turn out okay in the Future. "Um... My older self said something about Red Daughter... I think it could be a hint" she told her.

"Wait, as if Red Daughter was alive or something?" her sister asked, to what she nodded. "We've already looked in Kaznia" Alex pointed out.

"Yes, but there's one place we didn't check" Lena said while approaching them. "Shelley Island" her friend told them.

"The power-dampening pylons can be blocking Halley's solar signature" she said, feeling hopeful for the first time in the last four days. "We just need a way to get in" she sighed, just wanting to get to her baby cousin as soon as possible.

HALLEY'S P. O. V

"This looks great" Lex smiled while observing the scar on her head. "Okay, now let's see if it works" he commented getting away from her. "Attack me" he told her, but all he got was for her to stare at him confused.

"No" she shook her head, unsure of what would happen if she did it.

"Come on, do it, kid" he insisted, but again she remained sat on the chair, not moving. "Just do it" Lex looked directly into her eyes.

She whined when the needle from the bracelet pierced her skin, jumping from the chair in pain, barely being able to control the anger that was raising in her, which made her eyes turned red.

However, before she could make use of her heat vision, she found herself in front of Lex confused, not quite understanding why she wasn't being able to take control of her own decisions.

"I see it works" Lex said while observing her.

"Her encephalogram shows that it worked perfectly" she heard Lillian say, getting her to frown.

"So we got it, a little Kryptonian warrior who won't betray us" he smiled widely while observing her. "We'll start training tomorrow, okay?" he caressed her left cheek as she tried to move, being afraid of what his plans were.

ASTRA'S P. O. V

Her daughter smiled shyly at her the moment the door opened, observing how the child pulled away from Lex to run toward her, hugging at her.

"Hi, my little star" she smiled while kneeling down to take her in her arms.

The little one gripped her t-shirt tightly until Lex left, her head resting over her shoulder as she kept her embraced as tight as possible.

"Are you okay?" she asked her, getting the child to look at her.

"When are we leaving?" the eight year old questioned her, her blue eyes staring directly into hers, she was able to find tears contained in them. "I want to go back with Kara" the child said. "She promised me that we would go to Argo before my birthday" her daughter commented as she frowned, kind of confused by her words.

"Argo?" she asked, kind of wanting to know if she had heard right, seeing the child nod.

"It survived Krypton's explosion" Halley answered as she continued to stare at her not knowing how she should feel about it. "Aunt Alura survived too" the child whispered softly like if she was afraid of how she was going to react and the truth was that she was trying to understand everything.

"Alura?" she questioned the kid, her sister was alive.

"You're not happy..." her daughter murmured while frowning.

"I am, those are great news, it's just..." she stared at the child, not knowing how to explain her the reasons why she didn't want to confront her twin sister. "Things were a little complicated with your aunt" she finished her sentence.

"But you're gonna come with us, right?" Halley asked.

"Sure, little one" she kissed her forehead, gently tucking a strand of her brown hair behind her left ear, her fingertips brushing against what felt like a scar.

She left the child on the floor to kneel in front of her, gently pulling her daughter's hair to the side to observed the left side of her head, finding that a small portion was shaved around a scar that looked fresh.

"How did you get this?" she asked, the little girl looking away as if she didn't want to answer. "Hey, sweetie, I need you to answer" she grabbed the child's face, her daughter was starting to have a panic attack. "It's okay, baby girl, I'm here" she pulled her into a hug.

"It was Lex" the eight year old murmured.

"What?!" she exclaimed, pulling her away, Halley was already crying.

"He's evil, he hates Kryptonians" the child sobbed as she felt her heart ache, How could she have let him do all of that to her daughter?

"Why didn't you tell me?" she asked, concerned of everything he could have been doing to the kid.

"He would have hurt Kara" it was just a whisper, but she knew that the little girl wouldn't do anything to put her cousin in danger.

It was just a few seconds later when the eight year old started screaming, tears streaming down her cheeks as she was able to observe how the child was pulling from the bracelet she was wearing on her left wrist, the veins from her arm turning greener as she was feeling weaker as well.

The kid pushed her when she tried to held her, shaking her head while letting herself fall down to the floor, shortly before the door opened.

"Halley!" Alex Danvers exclaimed while rushing to the kid as she stayed there, observing how the woman took the child in her arms before looking at her. "Astra..." her niece's sister stared at her confused and they would have remained like that if it hadn't been because the Martian entered the room as well.

"You have to take her back to the lab" J'onn said after observing the child. "You should go with them, too" he turned to look at her, but at that moment anger was consuming her as she could only think about confronting Lex.

"Where's Lex Luthor?" she asked him, knowing that her daughter would be safe.

"We're all looking for him" the Martian answered.

"Mommy?" Halley barely murmured while trying to look at her, but being so weak that her head fell against the woman's shoulder.

"It will be alright, little star" she dared to approach them, her niece's sister tensing the moment she was next to them. "You'll be alright, okay?" she caressed the kid's face. "Take her somewhere safe" she asked agent Danvers, who stared at her for a few seconds before nodding.

"No, no!" the eight year old screamed with the little strength she had left in her tiny body.

The little girl's blue eyes were looking directly at hers, her daughter needed her and she couldn't abandon her again, so even though she wanted Lex to pay for what he had done to the child, she ended up leaving with them.

After walking through a portal, they appeared at a lab, a black haired woman walking towards them as she could find concern on her face.

"What happened?" the woman asked.

"She has kryptonite inside her organism" Alexandra answered, laying the child on a stretcher. "Is there anything else we need to know?" the woman asked her.

"She has a scar on the left side of her head, I'm not sure what he did to her" she answered, holding the little one's hand.

"Who is...?" the black haired woman asked.

"Halley's mom, Astra" her niece's sister said while studying the child's scar. "She's Lena Luthor, a friend, she'll help her" Alex introduced the woman, so she observed her not sure if she should trust another Luthor.

"I thought she was..." the woman started to say.

"That's what we all thought" Alex interrupted her without even looking at her, her niece's sister was trying her best to avoid any eye contact with her.

Halley shuddered one time before doing it constantly, the child was seizing, barely having time to react as it was agent Danvers who helped the kid through that seizure.

"She's stable" Lena Luthor said once the eight year old remained still with her eyes closed. "Did anyone tell Kara?" the woman asked.

"J'onn probably did" Alex answered before turning to look at her, even if it was for a few seconds. "I'm going to need to ask you to wait in a different room, the kryptonite will start to affect you even worse if you stay" the woman explained, but she shook her head.

"I'm not leaving my daughter" she told them, she wasn't going to leave that child alone, even if she was starting to feel how her blood was burning.

"It's the best for her" Alexandra insisted, only getting her to stared at her kind of questioning how she was daring to tell her what was best for her own child, but remembering that while she wasn't there, they had been her daughter's family.

She walked away of Halley, following Lena into a different room as she just hoped for the little girl to be fine and for her niece to make Lex Luthor pay.

KARA'S P. O. V

"Where is she?" she asked walking through Lena's lab, her gaze meeting her sister's.

"We're looking for a way to take that out of her brain" Alex pointed to an image, fear seizing through her body as she saw the device that was inside her cousin's brain. "J'onn went to get mom, I'm going to need her help" her sister told as she understood how bad the situation was. "Did you get to Lex?"

"He's been arrested" she answered, hoping that justice would put him in jail again. "Lillian was helping him, apparently they were trying to set the Gods free while using Halley for their own purposes" she explained while looking for her baby cousin, but finding her aunt instead. "This shouldn't have happened" she shook her head while remembering what her teen cousin told her.

"Wait, Did you know she was alive?" her sister asked her.

"Yes, teen Halley told me, but she was sixteen when Astra came back" she answered, observing her sister's face, who sighed. "I don't think she hates you, she has to know that you care about Halley" she told her, wanting to calm her down.

"I don't know, Kara" Alex shook her head as J'onn and Eliza entered the lab.

"She's going to be fine, she's a tough child, okay?" Eliza embraced her as she nodded, wanting to trust her words.

"Thanks" she smiled softly while pulling away. "Can I see her?" she asked them.

"There's a lot of kryptonite inside that room, I'm sorry" her sister answered. "I'll let you know once the surgery is done" Alex said while pulling her into a hug.

"Tell her I love her so much" she murmured, feeling a lump in her throat as she knew it was a complicated surgery.

"I will" her sister nodded shortly before leaving with Eliza.

She sighed before finally walking towards her aunt, not knowing what she should say or do, but knowing that they were both feeling the same a that moment, that they were scared of something happening to the little girl.

"Aunt Astra" she named her, getting the woman to look at her.

"Kara" her aunt approached her, pulling her into a hug, which surprised her since it was the last thing she expected to happen. "Thank you for everything you've done for her" Astra thanked her while keeping her embraced.

"Don't, it was the least I could do for her" she answered while pulling away. "How did you...?"

"Lex found me" her aunt interrupted her. "He lied to me and I ended up helping him, I let him do all of that to Halley" Astra explained as she frowned.

"You didn't know?" she asked her, seeing how she shook her head. "What happened it wasn't your fault, you just wanted to help" she told her.

"She safer with you" those words made her shake her head.

"No, no, you're not disappearing from her life again" she said, even if she was afraid the her aunt would take her cousin from her.

"I'm not" her aunt answered. "But Halley said something about Argo and I can't stop thinking about going there, try to fix all my mistakes... She would be staying with you, but I would be able to see her from time to time" Astra explained, getting her to smile slightly at the thought of Halley staying with her. "How is she doing?"

"She's in surgery" she answered, observing how she stared at her kind of afraid. "I couldn't see her because of the kryptonite, but I trust them, I know she's going to be fine" she told her, wanting to calm her down while doing the same with herself.

They needed to trust that the little girl was going to be fine, that nothing was going to go wrong and that in a few hours she would be able to take the eight year old in her arms and promised her that no one would ever hurt her again.

Hi!

Teen Halley is finally back in her time! And little Halley is back with Kara!

I wasn't going to make Astra taking Halley away from Kara, so I thought that it would be great if she went to Argo and tried to fix every mistake she had made. Plus she would be able to keep seeing Halley.

Thanks so much for reading, let me know what you think,
