A/N: Hiya!

Well, I'm excited to get back into writing this story after so long. Life kind of hit, writer's block hit… the job hit and I had an easier time updating the other story granted that one was planned out and worked on much better than this one. Still, it will be a while before all is said and done but I will continue writing this story.

As it stands right now, I'm brainstorming ideas for the bonus chapters. Happy to say those chapters are being drafted. Be ready for fluff, lemony/limey/smutty goodness, a tad bit of action, a whole lot of action and a moment for our team of slayers to be singers. The story on the other hand is going a tad bit slow but that's ok. All in due time I will keep progressing through each arc and the overall story itself.

Also, shout out to the author 'LanceSennin' for their story Kingdom Hearts DxD: The Devil of Light. For those who know the Kingdom Hearts story and know what happened at the end of KH3, you will enjoy this. It's a great story and definitely a recommended read. Make sure to give that story and the author some love!

Forewarned, early bits of this chapter contains something on the hot and heavy side. I am still experimenting with writing Lemons/Limes/Smut for this story in particular. And you heard right, there are other projects I'm working on that will have sexually related content. All of them will be rated M for Mature audiences. But for those wanting to stay on the PG-13 side of things, I have stories that fall under the T rating which will come out in the future.

Alright onward with the story!

Kiryuu Residence

Aika Kiryuu's Room

Morning

In this house resides one of Issei Hyoudou's longtime friends.

The Kiryuu household consisted of Aika Kiryuu and her parents, Akasuki and Akihiro. Akihiro was a scientist and researcher, most of his work going towards medicine and bioengineering which was really high level stuff. His work was so high level that the government paid him and offered him employment via one of the companies located in Kuoh Town. It was during his early work years that he met Aika's mom, Akasuki. Akasuki was a former educator at Kuoh Academy and met Akihiro during a career fair. They both hit it off immediately and it only took a year or two roughly before they got married. Not long after they conceived Aika. Akasuki became a housewife who spent her time doing housework, painting art pieces and reading novels. Not only that, she made sure to tutor Aika and was joyous to see Aika taking an interest several different fields of study.

Aika grew up wanting to do many things with her life and picked up many interests that weren't just educational. Like her mother she became an avid fan of art and literature. But Aika was the one who introduced her mother to some of the best TV shows and movies all the way from the 50's until now. And of course Aika was the one who introduced her mother to erotica in all forms. That led to how Aika got away with having certain 'items' in her room for relief situations.

As standard with all Kuoh Academy students, everyone learns about adolescence and the facts about the human body during the last few classes of the students' elementary term. Once the all students enter middle school, one of the first classes they are taught is Sex Ed. A more in depth Sex Ed class is taught during high school in one of the science classes.

Luckily for Aika Kiryuu, her mom taught her all she needed to know. And being a former educator, Akasuki made sure to stay up to date on all the newest information concerning physiology, biology, anatomy and of course Sexual Education.

So when Aika one day got caught watching and researching the more 'indecent' things on the internet, Akasuki gave her daughter a stern lecture before relenting on the needs of her daughter. Akasuki and Aika then did shopping online for all the items they needed. Akasuki got a deal on some erotica and some BDSM material she could use to spice up the bedroom with Akihiro. Aika on the other hand got her hands on hentai, eroge and of course several different types of toys. As part of a package deal, Aika also came into possession of some costumes that were her size luckily. All of this was done without Akihiro even noticing. His work kept him busy enough for him to not even be curious.

So what relevance does Aika's unique background have? Welp…

It was still the early hours of the morning for many in Kuoh Town. Those who loved to get fit early in the morning were walking, jogging, taking the dog out for a nice stroll or probably working out at gyms that were open in the darkness of morning. Others, like typical parents of Kuoh Academy's students, were getting ready for the day with breakfast and the morning news before likely going through the routine for a typical work day.

And what of Aika Kiryuu?

Aika Kiryuu was a nerd, an otaku and a pervert. She had a charm around her that many of her friends appreciated but they still got a bit miffed when she teased them at all. But it was always in good fun. Hell, if Aika ever harassed her female classmates they let her carry on. They always got along with her and they didn't mind her antics.

The same couldn't be said for Issei Hyoudou and his two buddies of course.

Aika never really liked Matsuda and Motohama all that much. They were more acquaintances with wasted potential as students. Sure she was perverted too but she was more subtle. Plus it helped massively she was a girl and actually got along with people. On top of that, their friendship with her longtime friend didn't seem as genuine as what she had with him.

As for Issei Hyoudou?

She was one of the two most important people from his childhood, next to the girl that moved to England. It was a rather funny thought that Issei got Rina's gender mixed up.

Digressing from that point, Aika had known Issei for a long time and had come to like him a lot. They considered each other best friends even when Matsuda and Motohama were unknowingly driving them apart. When Aika could find time to get Issei away from his buddies, she would take the chance.

For the longest time the two developed a close relationship that many would consider intimate. Given Issei's inexperience in romance, he figured a lot of the girls he fantasized (and cared) about would never give him the time of day. Aika was not one of them. She had developed lustful feelings towards Issei as well as romantic feelings. But Aika figured to just let the flow go and let the relationship just happen when it would. Plus it was Issei's dream to get a harem and a small voice in her head told her that anything was possible.

Now…

Aika Kiryuu was in her room, still in bed, wearing a simple white tank top and pink polka dot panties. The braids that she usually put her hair in were undone when she went to bed. Glasses were on the nightstand right next to her phone and alarm clock.

The honorary member of the Perverted Trio was right now having the most vivid fantasy involving her and her close friend Issei.

"Oh… Fuck…" Aika breathed out.

She awoke too early and felt rather hot under the collar. Feeling frustrated, Aika hiked her shirt up to expose her breasts to the night air in her room after kicking the covers off of her. She was a few sizes bigger than the school's mascot Koneko in terms of breast size but she wouldn't be winning any contests against Rias Gremory any time soon.

Aika sat up and both hands went to cup her breasts. The minute her fingers made contact, Aika tilted her head back and closed her eyes.

"Oh…"

She visualized Issei massaging her breasts experimentally. Aika imagined her perverted best friend squeezing them, rubbing them and lifting them almost as to test their weight. Next came her nipples, as Aika's fingers pinned the nubs between her index and middle fingers on both hands. A shudder ran through her as she started to tug and pinch her nipples just a little harder.

She wished that Issei was there to lap and suck her nipples like a newborn while she could jerk him off. She definitely had the reach for it too. Aika switched it up and used her thumbs and index fingers to twist and squeeze her nipples. This continued for a few minutes as Aika alternated between soft sighs and breathy moans.

"I need a fucking cock in me… but I'll settle for fingers right now." She decided aloud.

Her face was flush and with lidded eyes she brought her right hand up to her mouth. She licked three fingers for a few seconds before sticking said fingers in her mouth to get them well lubricated. Aika was fantasizing that it was Issei's fingers she was sucking on before she would practically demand that he finger her. She needed some release at some point and in her mind she was close to begging for it. And she would get her release while leaving him with a hard on.

("Actually let's change things up a bit…") she thought with a lustful grin.

Aika pulled her panties off of her until they were bunched up at her right ankle. She got on her knees, putting her butt in the air while having her face down. Aika's left hand clutched the sheets as her right hand slowly snaked its way down her abdomen towards her glistening snatch.

Aika whimpered as her wet fingers traced her pussy lips. She imagined that Issei was at the bedside jerking his meat while he watched her play with herself. She imagined he would take his time and obey her orders of where she wanted him to cum.

Slowly the middle finger entered, making Aika let out a shuddering breath.

"That's… one…"

She experimentally slid the middle finger out before plunging it back in. She did this a few times before taking her middle finger out completely. Her womanhood was aching for contact and wet enough that it leaked a little down her legs.

The next plunge now involved her ring and middle fingers.

"Ah…" Aika she sighed softly.

She shook her ass a bit, increasing her arousal as her fingers slowly massage her pussy. Aika imagined Issei taking her anus in the most primal way possible while on her bed… or in the kitchen… or maybe in a crowded train.

Aika began to pant and moan as one hand worked her pussy and the other clutched her bedding. Her hips rocked back and forth, as her pussy was starting to make really wet sounds from the contact with her hand.

Aika imagined Issei ramming into her ass while she spread her cheeks shamelessly. She also imagined taking it up the ass while squirting on Issei, using her anus to milk Issei for all his worth.

"Oh yes… fuck Issei! You're gonna… make me cum!" She panted out.

Her chest dipped down into the bed more, nipples grinding against the soft fabric of her comforter. She continued to let out mewls and moans as the most lustful and happy smile crossed her face. The blush on her face and sweat on her brow made her realize how far her arousal had taken her. She imagined it now…

("His body on mine… grinding… hitting all my weak spots… hell if he spanked me now…!")

Aika immediately slowed down, delaying her release for a short moment. The hand that had been clutching the bedding released the comforter before going back and palming a cheek. Aika squeezed and kneaded her own ass cheek before giving it a playful slap. She then spread her one cheek, feeling a light breeze against the crack of her ass. She gave her cheek a playful slap again before slowly lowering herself to the bed and rolling onto her back. Her legs were spread wide as she sat her upper body up a bit. One hand had grasped onto her thigh, the other had left her snatch so she could taste herself. Aika licked and sucked on her fingers hungrily before plunging them back into her pussy. The brunette watched her fingers go into her speeding up the pace.

As her fingers were working her pussy, she bit her lower lip and closed her eyes. She fantasized how Issei's balls would be in her mouth while she jerked him off. She also fantasized about how she could convince Rias and Akeno to join in. The moment those two entered her fantasy with her and Issei…

"Oh fuck!"

She took her fingers out and rubbed them across her pussy lips and her clit. Aika snagged the collar of her tank top in her mouth as her upper body fell back onto to the bed. Her moans increased in volume before she finally climaxed, juices squirting beneath her fingers audibly. The sound was so erotic, Aika willed herself to keep rubbing herself to prolong her orgasm. After roughly a minute of doing so, Aika released her tank top from her teeth before slowly gathering her wits. Sprawled out on the bed, Aika brought her fingers up and cleaned them of her own juices. She then sighed before giving a small smile. Glancing over at the clock, Aika figured she had plenty of time to kill before heading to school.

The brunette lazed around for 10 good minutes before getting up and gathering some casual clothes to wear around the house before going to school. She also needed a shower too.

As she gathered her toiletries and clothes, Aika looked over to one of the drawers. A light blush coated her face as she got another idea. In a movement too quick for anyone who could have been a witness, the brunette snagged an item out of the drawer before closing it and rushing towards the bathroom.

What ensued over the course of the next 30 minutes was a 'wet and soapy' good morning for Aika Kiryuu.

Hyoudou Residence

Issei Hyoudou's Room

In the room of Issei Hyoudou, said teen was sound asleep snoring without a care in the world.

But the brown haired teen had school today and his body clock was alerting him to that fact since his other alarm wasn't. So with a yawn, the young man slowly opened his eyes and got his bearings. Before he could sit up however, he felt two sources of heat radiating next to him.

Not even thinking on this phenomena, Issei moved his arms and both biceps came into contact with something rather… soft and squishy.

("When did I get new pillows?") He thought absentmindedly.

With tired eyes, Issei looked left, where popping up beneath the covers was red hair.

"Huh."

Issei then looked right and saw raven hair coming up from beneath the covers.

"Uh huh."

Then Issei looked forward before lying his head back down to stare at the ceiling.

Hold the fuck up Buck O'!

Issei's eyes widened and he sat up rather quickly. When the previous night's events hit him, his hand went to his abdomen… his very naked abdomen.

("That's right! I got stabbed again! And not only that my shirt's gone!") He realized.

It was then Issei's very sleepy brain finally woke up and got that new update he'd been waiting on. When Issei sat up, the covers flew right off his body. Immediately filling a bit exposed Issei peered down… and saw his morning wood in all its glory. He gasped and then turned his head left before sputtering nonsense. To his left side was a very naked Rias Gremory. Said girl was sleeping with the most serene expression on her face. Only fitting for a princess.

("Holy crap! She's in my bed! Rias! Tits! Ass! In my bed!") He thought as he started blushing.

Feeling an incoming nosebleed, Issei slowly looked right… only for his brain to fry at the other sight. Hair untied, sporting a smile was a nude Akeno Himejima. Issei could only gulp as his blush intensified.

("I thank whatever deity put the Two Great Ladies in my bed. I'll start paying tribute from this day forward.")

"If this is a dream I don't ever want to wake up." Issei whispered to himself.

With no other choice, Issei closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He opened his eyes and extended both arms… to experimentally grope both girls.

With the most nonchalant expression possible given his blush, Issei's right hand poked and prodded at Akeno's left boob. The right finger did a stirring motion, almost as if testing the waters. Issei made a sound of awe and astonishment as 'Little Issei'/'Issei Junior' began to twitch. The poor guy hadn't gotten any release since the incident the previous week involving the Kendo Club and Irene.

("Her nipples and areola are a bit darker than Rias'. Other than that, these heavenly puppies are soft like my old blankie.")

Issei smiled and nodded in approval. Then the teen paid attention to the actions of his left hand. The left hand fully palmed Rias' right breast and it quickly sunk in. Issei bit his lip to hold back a mix of a moan and a groan. The feeling of actual boobs in his hands was starting to overwhelm him.

("Yep. Some deity is getting thanks plus my lunch money today. Life really is sweet.")

Issei then stared off into space with a dumb smile on his face. Even though he has so much to live for, the young man felt he could die right then and there. Interestingly enough he already died once and came close to death the other night so dying probably shouldn't be a priority at the moment.

A moment or two later, Rias and Akeno awoke to the stimulation of their breasts. Simultaneously awakening with cute yawns, both girls looked over at each other before looking at Issei.

Issei heard someone clear their throat and his head snapped left to see a smiling, unperturbed Rias. When he heard a giggle coming from his other side, Issei's head snapped over to see Akeno holding a hand to her mouth.

("Oh crap they're awake!")

"Well then, that's one way to say good morning isn't it Akeno?" Rias mused with a bright smile.

"Given what happened last night Rias I'm not complaining." Akeno replied, teasing evident in her tone.

Issei, suddenly horrified at the implications of their words, quickly retracted his hands. Said hands then went to his junk as Issei frantically backed up to the headboard of his bed. Both girls giggled at Issei and whatever internal dilemma he was going through. They knew he had little experience with women outside of his date with a Fallen and being the resident Pervert at the Academy. So what better way to mess with the newest member of the family than to tease him?

"You were absolutely wonderful last night. I think that may have been the best sleep I've had in years." Rias said.

"I second that." Akeno chirped.

Issei was stuttering trying to form a response. Both girls just giggled, enjoying the teasing they were doing.

It was then the door to Issei's room opened, revealing Miki Hyoudou wearing a t-shirt, jeans, slippers and an apron. She knew that sometimes Issei had the tendency to be a sloth some days, making the poor boy late for school. So, given her obligations as a mother, she took it upon herself to be an extra alarm clock for her baby boy.

"Issei it's time to wake up… for… school…"

She trailed off seeing an embarrassed and horrified Issei Hyoudou, sitting between what Miki would describe as super model level beauties. Imagination running wild with ideas and suggestions, Miki Hyoudou stood there with an increasing blush, blinking rapidly at what she just walked into.

"Good morning!" the girls chirped in unison.

Miki waved at them before slowly closing the door to the bedroom. Frantic footsteps signaled Issei, Rias and Akeno that she was probably going to tell Gorou about the fact that Issei was with two girls.

"Lovely parents and a lively home. Wouldn't you agree Rias?"

"Indeed Akeno. My new pawn's mother seems quite spirited. I look forward to spending time with her."

Issei just sat there glancing back and forth. His mind was going miles a minute trying to keep up with these developments. Just what the hell happened last night? Was it all a dream? How were Rias and Akeno involved?

"Am I no longer a virgin?" Issei questioned aloud.

Issei yelped as he was jerked around until he was sitting with his legs over side of the bed. Akeno was hugging him from behind, chin resting on top of his head, breasts pressed against his neck and upper back. The brown haired boy was trying hard to think of something else because he could feel the raven haired girl's slightly erect nipples poking him. It wasn't doing him any favors especially seeing how his morning wood continued to just sit out in the open.

Right next to Issei, sitting like he was, was a still naked Rias Gremory. Both girls continued to giggle, the heavenly sound of their laughter was making Issei feel things.

"Oh no silly boy. We were only teasing." Akeno confessed too innocently.

"Besides, the only reason we're all like this is because you were hurt and needed healing." Rias explained.

"Healing?" Issei asked aloud.

"Mmhm." Akeno confirmed with a slight nod.

Healing? In Issei's tiny little mind, he thought something last night involved healing of the sexual kind. He had of course fantasized a time or two about girls his age and possibly older taking advantage of him while he slept. But Rias and Akeno said the exact opposite happened. Which also brings up another thing…

"You two wouldn't happen to know about some badly dressed guy with wings and a spear would ya?" Issei asked with a nervous chuckle.

"Oh yes! That bad man you fought was a Fallen Angel." Akeno replied.

Issei needed a moment or two to let that answer sink in. Although he had seen it and experienced it twice now, according to Akeno (and most likely Rias), angels were real. He wasn't all that religious but even he had some basic knowledge.

"I… I think I had something crazy stuck in my ear. C-Could you repeat that please?" Issei asked with a slight twitch of his brow.

Didn't he ask something like this before? Was this Déjà vu?

A hand on his thigh, courtesy of Rias, broke Issei out of his nervous sweat and brought back the blush he had fought to get rid of. Rias squeezed his thigh in an effort to reassure him of the shock he was about to get. Although she meant well, Issei's 'little trooper' twitched (snake analogies and jokes go here).

"It's like Akeno said, the man who tried to harm you was a Fallen Angel." Rias confirmed.

"But angels, demons and stuff don't exist! That's impossible!" Issei comically denied.

Issei yelped yet again as he was dragged back onto the bed. This time he was lying on his back, head in Akeno's lap as she played with his hair. Rias took the time to lie on her side, propping her chin on her hand. She looked down on Issei as she lazily drew circles right where Issei's heart would be. Both girls continued to smile down on the brown haired teen as he sulked just a bit.

"Relax Issei. Although it is hard to believe, we're telling you the truth." Akeno told him.

"In addition to that, demons haven't been seen for many, many years. It would be fair that someone not well versed in the Supernatural would get them confused with Devils." Rias commented.

Izuku sighed at this. Life for him had officially turned upside down. First he gets stabbed by his date then left for dead. Next thing he knows, he wakes up feeling somewhat stronger than before but only at night. At first he attributed it to him being a bit of a night owl on weekends and sometimes school nights but this was different.

("Especially when you hear your parents bump mad uglies… ugh.") Issei shuddered a bit.

"So how do you two know about this stuff? Are you angels or something? I mean given how beautiful you are it would only make some kind of sense." Issei mused aloud.

Rias and Akeno looked taken aback by Issei's casual broadcast of his thoughts. They glanced at each other with light blushes before bursting into giggles. Issei darted his eyes back and forth as best he could, confusion written all over his face.

"Why no silly, although Rias and I do appreciate the compliment…" Akeno told him, still fighting giggles.

"In fact, Akeno and I are Devils. And as of the other day my precious servant, so are you." Rias added.

Issei locked up for a moment before blinking several times. His perverted yet somewhat intelligible brain tried making sense of what the hell he had just gotten himself into. And then it hit him full force.

"Eh?"

"It's true. When you died the other day, Rias wanted to save you so she resurrected you. The weakness in the daytime, the enhanced senses and strength is just a part of your fast introduction into a much bigger world." Akeno explained.

"In addition to that you are owed answers. I'm sure you have plenty of questions but for now know this…"

Rias moved her hand from Issei's chest to his cheek. She smiled warmly at him as did Akeno. Issei smiled as best he could while blushing a tad bit.

"I will do my best to help you adjust. You're a part of my family now and I will do my best to take care of you. So don't worry about a thing."

Issei gulped and slightly nodded his head.

"Um… sure." He replied.

"Good!" Rias chirped.

Akeno giggled as both her and Rias quickly left Issei's bed. The brown haired teen lied there for a moment, blinking before looking to his left. He gaped and his eyes nearly shot out comically as he got a good view of parts he was not meant to see… well, not yet if he played his cards right. Issei was snapped out of his perverted daze when Rias' voice sounded off.

"Oh poo… Issei, could you be a dear and help Akeno and I with our bras?" She requested.

Issei could only numbly nod before gulping. He slowly maneuvered his body before his feet touched the carpet. Here he was… a second year high school student one of the most prestigious schools in the world. A resident pervert. Yet he was also a pretty, somewhat decent guy. Plus he got good enough grades to be slightly above average.

("Now I'm a Devil who's about to help clip on the bras of the two most beautiful girls at my school…")

Going on to perform his task with a blush and a broken smile, Issei thought for once that life at the moment wasn't so bad.

The Estate

Guest Bedroom #1

The Estate.

The Estate is the name for the Slayers temporary home, setup by the Olympians and the allied Shinto Teito gods. Plus there was some additional pull with allied members to the Shinto Faction from Kyoto but that is a tale for another time.

Anyways, The Estate was a masterpiece. The architecture was a mix of Contemporary and Modern styles. The property itself was large and so was the house. Above ground, the house had 8 main bedrooms, each joined with their own bathrooms. In addition to the main bedrooms, there were two guest bedrooms, also having their own attached bathrooms. Following the bedrooms were 2 offices (one upstairs and one downstairs), an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a large kitchen with a large pantry (plus a wine cellar), a laundry room, a living room, a game room (featuring console and arcade games), a home theater, a basketball court (easy sport to learn), a gym, a library and a 5 car garage.

Below ground, there was a complex bunker system setup and connected to an additional garage. The bunker system consisted of a training room, a firearms range, a fully stocked armory, prison cells, interrogation rooms, and an operations center.

All in all, the Olympians and Shinto factions spared no expense in setting the Slayers up with a home for the next few months. When Irene first saw the house she was a bit giddy and no one could honestly blame her. Back in Earth Land she lived in a large castle, surrounded by her peers who varied in gender, personality and of course magic. Not only that, Zeref was always watching all of them either when he was there or out and abroad on business. So Irene was more than happy to have a home of her own, even more happy she was sharing it with her favorite hatchlings that she had grown very fond of.

Lying in one of the bedrooms was Raynare, resting after a very stressful night in the aftermath of her capture a few days prior. Currently she was wearing a white t-shirt, lavender colored pajama pants and fuzzy white socks with purple trim. The Fallen Angel slowly opened her eyes, finding her view to be a canopy attached to whatever bed she was in. She groaned as she sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes. The next thing that came to Raynare's view as she tried to gauge where exactly she was… was a little girl in pink frog onesie sitting on her bed. The girl in question had short, straight green hair and olive colored eyes. The little girl wasn't human, evident as Raynare note the tail swishing idly behind the girl's small frame.

The little girl had a permanent blush and a bright smile that made Raynare feel a bit… weird. This usually happened around one of her friends and when that happened, the raven haired fallen had a personality change that threw others for a loop.

"Hello!" The little girl greeted.

Raynare blinked a few times before she found herself giggling a bit. Despite having the memories of last night play in her head, Raynare felt relaxed and rather content with her current situation. She now found herself a companion, an adorable on at that to help make whatever situation she was in all that more bearable.

"Good morning little one. My name is Raynare, what is your name?"

The little girl's hands flew up as though on a roller coaster and her smile widened.

"My name's Frosch!" Frosch replied.

The name sounded foreign and Raynare could piece together it meant frog. But of course she would have to confirm this. She had several lovers in the past that were German. She grimaced a bit before dashing the thoughts away with a shake of her head. She smiled at Frosch and regarded her with an appraising stare.

"Well I think you have a pretty name Frosch!" Raynare complimented.

"Fro thinks so too!" Frosch replied.

Raynare found it odd that Frosch would refer to herself in third person. But then again…

("She's just so cute!~") Chibi Raynare squealed.

Both occupants of the bedroom heard the door open. Emerging from the hallway into the room was a blonde woman dressed in dark heels, jeans, a white blouse and a dark colored leather jacket. Raynare couldn't help the surprise that played on her face as she recognized just who this woman was.

"Anna Heartfillia? As in the school teacher? Wha…"

"There you are Frosch."

The blonde woman was carrying a tray with plates of food but her attention lied with the girl in the frog costume. Frosch happily hopped off the bed before running over to a stop before Anna.

"Frosch wanted to wake up the pretty angel." Frosch told her.

"I can see that. Thank you Frosch." Anna said with a chuckle.

"You're welcome!" Frosch cheered.

The transformed Exceed left with joyous laughter ringing all the way. Anna shook her head before offering the Fallen angel a warm smile. She approached the bed, tray still in hand.

"I'm happy you're awake. I hope Irene didn't scare you too much last night. She can be a bit overzealous at times when getting what she wants." Anna told her, simultaneously offering her best apology.

Raynare nodded her head, a bead of sweat traveling down her temple. She was nervous now. How in the blazing fires of the underworld did Anna know about last night? What was her connection to Irene? At this point the Fallen Angel was going to risk injury and possible death by escaping… only for her stomach to grumble. The raven haired woman blinked several times before a furious blush took over her face. Anna blinked a few times before a light chuckle escaped her lips.

A moment later, a rather ravenous Fallen Angel chowed down on a meal that was big enough to feed 3 people. That said, Raynare hadn't eaten in a few days so her hunger was understandable. Anna just sat in a chair by Raynare's bed, legs crossed as her hands were folded in her lap.

"Well you were certainly hungry. The food I made must be good huh?" Anna teased.

After Raynare finished, she burped and blushed afterwards. There were times she did things that were rather un-lady like farting next to her date during a movie once or some of the mannerisms she displayed when she had invited some men and/or women to her home. She rather not let Anna get the wrong impression of her. Speaking of…

Raynare cleared her throat before moving her tray of empty plates aside.

"I take it I'm your prisoner now." Raynare assumed calmly.

Anna shook her head negative. Raynare raised a brow at the blonde's response.

"No. You're more of a guest on witness protection. After all, everything Irene talked about with you is true. Until everything is resolved you will be staying with us for the time being." Anna informed her.

Raynare frowned and tried to summon her power… nothing happening. The Fallen Angel hid her growing panic at the fact she couldn't access her powers. Anna noticed the frown and immediately sense the shift in Raynare's magic. Telling the Fallen the news so soon was not going to be easy.

"Also, for your safety we sealed your powers using the charm on your wrist. Until this situation is resolved and until we can trust you, you won't be using your abilities in this house anytime soon." Anna added.

"You what?!" Raynare nearly shrieked.

"It's a necessary precaution. Besides, it's not all bad. You'll be a guest in our home and we have someone who can keep you company. Although I have not interacted with your kind before now, I would like to think that even Fallen Angels get lonely."

Raynare's frowned deepened as she crossed her arms and looked away from the blonde. This was it. Her plans were in ruins and her life in dedication to the Grigori and Azazel were done. This had honestly been the worst days of her long life and there were rare occurrences where she honestly thought so. Anna sighed before uncrossing her legs and leaving her seat. The Heartfillia Ancestor knew that the raven haired woman would be upset, more so over the fact she couldn't use her powers and interpreted her stay here as a prison sentence.

("At least she's not worrying about Irene right now…")

Anna grabbed the tray of the bed and turned to walk away but stopped. She looked over her shoulder and offered a friendly smile towards the sulking Fallen.

"Say… how about I give you a tour of our home? I'm sure you would like to stretch your legs after all." Anna offered.

Raynare shifted a suspicious glance towards the blonde. The school teacher had been completely kind to her as opposed to Irene. Yes, she was virtually stuck here and she didn't expect her protection to hold up very long when her comrades found her and possibly disposed of her. It could be worse… she could be the girlfriend of Kuoh's biggest pervert.

Tension leaving her shoulders, the Fallen slumped over in defeat before releasing a pent up sigh. Wearily Raynare turned her head to look at the smiling blonde.

"Do you have anything I can wear?"

The Pit

[Start: "Click Click Boom"]

The Pit.

This room was designated as the training area for the Slayers once they moved in. The Pit was designed to hold a great amount of training equipment for physical conditioning as well as other amenities having to do with swordsmanship and the use of firearms.

In the very back, Sting was going to town using an ACR with a standard iron sight as opposed to his customized rifles that he had stored away. As a new paper target popped up, Sting controlled his breathing as he let off a three round burst dead center. Once the target was down, two more took its place and Sting repeated the process. This went on until Sting spent the entire clip before performing a tactical reload. Once new targets popped up, Sting didn't hesitate to fire.

Rogue was meditating shirtless, swords in front of him as he was surrounded by dozens of lit candles. The Shadow Dragon Slayer shut out the rest of the world, focusing only on his power and his breathing. His muscles relaxed while his spirit patiently waited to lash out like a viper.

Wendy and Carla (Human form) were doing Yoga in unison on some mats while incents burned. Gajeel was on the bench press while Lily (Battle form) was doing curls with heavy dumbbells.

As for the duo that essentially headed the team, Gray was doing pull ups while wearing a weight vest, wrist weights and ankle weights. The Devil Slayer wanted a decent challenge when it came to anything at this point. Nothing was going to get in the way of the mission here. And nothing damn sure was going to get in the way of him and the others getting home. Sweat dripped down Gray's face as he kept going, muscles flexing and twisting as his body continued its alternating motion.

Natsu was on the punching bag with Happy (Human form) coaching him up from the side. The Firestorm Dragon Slayer didn't have school today and was up a bit earlier than the others. He had already went through his warm up exercises as well as his new daily ritual of push-ups, squats and sit-ups. Being a hybrid, the leader of a team of mages and the hero who lived up to expectations was never going to be easy. But Natsu loved life and all the challenges that came with it. Right now he and Gray were of the same mindset, fixing things here before heading home.

("And then we face Zeref and Acnologia to settle things for good!") He thought determinedly.

As Natsu let a few lightning fast punches fly, his senses indicated that the team was about to have visitors. With a grunt Natsu switched up the combo to where he was now using kicks with his punches.

As the doors to the vast room opened, Anna walked with Raynare in tow. Raynare was now wearing a black blouse with ripped up jeans and a pair of white tennis shoes. The Fallen Angel could only gape at what she was seeing. There was an assortment of weight equipment on both sides with one side having mats for other activities. In the middle was a large ring contained by chains, similar to the rings used by MMA fighters. In the back there was a firing range and extra space, said space being partially occupied by a bunch of candles.

But it wasn't just the room that caught Raynare's attention. The Fallen could only blush as she saw the amount of eye candy. Sting was sporting a ballistic vest and protective eyewear while wearing his training gear. Rogue had forgone his shirt, muscles illuminated by the various candles surrounding him. Gajeel's biceps bulged and flexed in a way that made Raynare want him to hold her tight in his arms. Raynare's hooded and lustful gaze fell to Gray as the Devil Slayer was continuing to do pull-ups. Just seeing his back made Raynare shiver. If only she could put those well-manicured nails to use as she imagined herself dragging them down his back in many different scenarios.

And then Raynare found him. It was the same young man that saved her from Irene's wrath, she just knew. It was also the same young man who beat her in the park with his partner. At first she had to admit, pink was quite the color for a teenage boy to have. But then again, blue for a woman was definitely much different.

Natsu Dragneel had finished a combo before standing tall and catching his breathe. The son of Igneel turned and saw Anna and Raynare. As his gaze lingered on Raynare, the two seemed to hold a staring contest that just shut the rest of the world away.

Now those outside are probably wondering what was really happening between the two. It all comes down to the fact that Natsu's blood and soul had created a connection with Raynare. Although the salmon haired teen didn't know it just yet, he had found a possible mate that could join him and his Celestial Princess back home. Not only did Natsu best her in combat but he had saved her from Irene.

The staring contest ended when Natsu's mouth formed into a fanged grin and he waved at Raynare.

Raynare slowly waved back, a nice coat of pink across her face as she looked at Natsu with many positive emotions. Anna shook her head at the interaction before going over to the sound control system on the wall and turning the music down.

[End Playback]

Rogue's eyes snapped open at the very moment the music cutoff. In a split second, the Shadow user had both his swords in hand after making a slashing motion. To those who could keep up, Rogue had slashed out the flames on the candles while also slashing the candles themselves. Rogue stood tall and slowly sheathed his swords before looking over in Anna's direction. She was accompanied by the Fallen Angel Irene had interrogated.

("So that's who Natsu's babysitting today. Interesting…")

Rogue turned to see the others give Anna their greetings of the day as they gathered close to the entrance. Rogue sighed as he leapt over the candles and back onto the floor. As Rogue strode his way over to the others, Anna began to speak.

"Glad to see you all keeping your skills sharp. That said, I want to introduce you all to our guest."

Raynare squeaked an un-ladylike squeak and looked at Anna in disbelief. Anna smiled at her and wrapped an arm around the shorter woman's shoulders.

"Everyone, this is Raynare. She's the Fallen Angel you have no doubt read up on." Anna introduced.

Raynare could only manage a weak wave and a nervous smile. Gajeel grinned while holding a towel in his hand, Lily watching his back. Wendy gave a bright greeting while her Exceed partner kept the pleasantries to a minimum 'Hello'.

"'Sup. Guess we're gonna be roomies now huh?" Sting said with his usual laid back grin.

"I guess…?" Raynare half questioned, half replied.

"She's our guest not our new roommate Sting." Rogue corrected.

Sting just frowned childishly at his best friend. Gray crossed his arms as his towel was wrapped around his neck.

"Welcome to our home I guess. Did Anna give you the tour?" Gray questioned.

Raynare nodded and Gray was already heading out of the room. As he passed by Gray smirked and sent a wave over his shoulder.

"Hate taking off all of a sudden but school and food is calling my name. Later."

Raynare looked at him slightly offended that he didn't bother to talk to her more. But she reasoned with herself that they had school so it was understandable.

"The frostbitten bastard's right. We got school so we'll catch up with you later bird lady." Gajeel quickly cut in.

"Bird lady?" Raynare repeated with an irritable twitch.

Gajeel just snickered as he walked right by her. Lily hung back and placed a strong hand on Raynare's shoulder. The Fallen Angel's irritation quickly settled and she looked up at the large cat-man questionably.

"I apologize for that. Gajeel's only way of remembering certain people is by giving them nicknames. Plus he usually refers to his enemies by name." Lily clarified.

"Ah. I see…" Raynare accepted with a nod.

Lily smiled before squeezing her shoulder.

"Although it's been said before, welcome to our home. I hope you enjoy your stay while under our care. Hopefully we see each other again hm?"

"I would like that very much, thank you." Raynare said with a small smile.

Lily gave her a nod and pat on the shoulder before leaving. Wendy walked up to her with a bright smile while Carla kept her distance.

"I hope we get to know each other when time allows it. How are your injuries?"

Raynare crossed her arms and looked at the youngest member of the group. She seemed very bright and much more friendly than the other two people she just met.

But thinking back, Raynare only had the injuries she suffered before waking up here. Then she received more from Irene's interrogation. Both sets of injuries brought up a line of inquiry for Raynare.

"They're fine. No signs of any scars thank goodness. Who do I have to thank for healing me?" Raynare answered.

"The first time was myself."

Wendy then smiled and motioned over to Natsu, who waved at them with a grin.

"The second time was Natsu. Although when it came to bathing and changing your clothes that was left up to me and teacher." Wendy clarified.

"Teacher?"

"She means me Raynare. That's just an affectionate nickname/title Wendy gave for me." Anna said.

The blonde then proceeded to ruffle Wendy's hair earning a giggle. Raynare's somewhat frosty heart melted and another part of her squealed at how cute Wendy sounded. The Fallen was also partially thankful both female members of this 'family' handled her bathing and dressing. Yet, Raynare also found herself disappointed that the boys didn't get a chance to manhandle her with their strong, rough hands.

"Though I don't really need it, I appreciate it all the same. You'll come to understand why when you see Irene again." Anna said.

Raynare immediately paled at hearing that. The raven haired fallen was not so keen on seeing the Redheaded woman who more or less invoked nightmares. Raynare wanted to use her powers to escape but couldn't. Pretty much sensing her distress, Natsu teleported and wrapped an arm around Raynare's neck casually.

The move snapped Raynare out of her stupor and she looked to her left, slightly astonished and blushing due to what was happening right now.

"Aw don't sweat it Ray-Ray! Irene's pretty nice when you get to know her! She was just having a bad day as all." Natsu told her with a grin.

"Um… if you say so…" Raynare said unsurely.

Someone clearing their throat redirected the attention of everyone else in the room. Rogue crossed his arms and closed his eyes, almost in contemplation or thought.

"As much as we would like to stay and chat, Gray's point from earlier still stands. We have class to tend to so until then…" Rogue trailed off.

The dark haired youth blended into the floor like a living shadow and disappeared. Sting looked exasperated as he ran a hand through his blonde locks.

"Ever the emo, broody bastard…" Sting muttered beneath his breath.

Sting perked up and grinned, making Raynare suspect that Natsu and Sting were distant brothers of sorts.

"Sorry to cut and run but I have pancakes with my name on them that I won't be missing so see ya!"

Sting bolted before Anna could make a reprimand for him carrying firearms in the house. Anna sighed before a stern expression appeared, hands now on her hips. Wendy let out a sheepish chuckle at Sting's recklessness.

"The nerve of that young man… I've told him about weapons while in the main house. How troublesome…" Anna remarked with a shake of her head.

Anna then placed her hands on Wendy's shoulders and began to escort the youngest Dragon Slayer out of the room, Carla in tow. Anna looked over her shoulder at the trio of Natsu, Happy and Raynare.

"We'll be leaving now Natsu. Remember to go talk to Irene before you enjoy your day off." She reminded him.

"You got it Sensei!" Natsu happily chirped.

"Bon voyeggie!" Happy said with a wave.

Anna held back a giggle as she, Wendy and Carla finally left the room. Now it was just Natsu, Happy and Raynare. The salmon haired teen turned to his newest 'friend' with a large grin, shaking her a little by the shoulder.

"So… ready to go see Irene?" He queried.

Raynare was very hesitant at that moment. She just dealt with the whirlwind of craziness of meeting people connected to Irene in a fashion. Hell, Natsu was the one who both beat her and rescued her. The amount of power he had frightened her to a degree. However, Irene's power was downright petrifying. She may not have been their prisoner but still as always it could be worse.

Later On…

Kuoh Academy

It was not a typical morning or rest of the day for the students of Kuoh Academy. As many of the students were filing in, ready to pursue another day of learning, a sudden and shocking twist of events occurred. The Slayers (sans Natsu) and Kunoichi weren't surprised but everyone else was, including Aika Kiryuu.

Issei Hyoudou had strolled into the school, albeit in a numb daze while accompanied by both The Two Great Ladies of the school. While Akeno had taken the time to greet her peers, Rias simply talked to Issei about his likes and dislikes. Although still surprised at the sudden interest in his person, Issei happily opened up much to the crimson haired princess' joy.

Of course the females of the school were outright horrified and cried out in absolute horror as to why Issei would be in the presence of the school idols.

The male side was jealous. No they weren't just jealous… they were envious and extremely pissed. How did Issei, the biggest pervert of the school and leader of the perverted trio, get escorted to school by the two great ladies?

The Slayers didn't think much of the commotion other than high school drama mixed with the fact Rias and her Queen probably wanted to check on Issei after last night. That of course made sense.

The Kunoichi nearby were of the same mindset. Of course Enju was spouting off the usual about Issei being a 'lousy pervert' or 'disgusting hentai'. Akari of course just laughed it all off while the others put in their own input before going their separate ways.

Today was going to be interesting to say the least…

(Scene Change – Aika and Issei)

Second Year Classroom

Issei was immediately bombarded questions and insults. Although this morning had been enjoyable, now he was entering High School hell. The reincarnated pervert covered his face with both arms, looking rather haggard after being accosted by his peers since he stepped through the door.

("What I wouldn't give for some peace and quiet for the next few minutes…")

"Hey there stud!"

Issei groaned and hid his face in his arms while at his desk. Aika Kiryuu skipped over with a gleeful smile before stopping by Issei's desk and crossing her arms.

"Why fanciful morning to you too Issei!" Aika chirped.

"Leave me alone Kiryuu…" came Issei's muffled reply.

Aika simply snorted before leaning back on the desk behind her. Her playfulness dropped, giving way to curiosity.

"Seriously though Issei what's up? Last I checked you weren't on the radar of two of the four hotties of the school."

Issei looked at his longtime friend before sighing. The brown haired devil boy now sat up and looked at his notebook.

"Let's just say they… surprised me this morning." Issei said nervously.

"Surprised how?"

Issei leaned back in his chair and took a moment to think back on the last week or so. His life had essentially been turned upside down due to the fact he met a girl, went on date with girl and then said girl stabbed him with a shiny spear. And that's not adding on to the fact he was punished for peeping and caught the attention of the two biggest and well known personalities in the school.

Going back to this morning though?

Issei suddenly brightened up before a blush and a dumb grin took over his features. Twin trails of blood leaked from Issei's nose as he fell into a blissful daydream, replaying this morning with his own take on events.

Aika was confused at first before astonishment took over. A shine took to Aika's glasses as she smiled slyly at Issei before moving quickly to his side and slugging his shoulder.

"You devious little dog! You didn't?"

Issei made some noise that sounded close to an affirmative. But since Issei was in La-La land it sounded like nothing more than gibberish and babbling rolled into one. Aika snickered a little before wrapping an arm around Issei's shoulders.

"I guess even for us perverts dreams do come true. Way to go Issei." Aika said with a grin.

Issei continued to speak in non-japanese (or was it non-english?). The leader of the perverted trio was having a good morning despite the harassment from his peers.

(Scene Change – Natsu and Raynare)

The Estate

Living Room

Natsu was reclining on the couch in a tank top and basketball shorts. The Dragon Slayer was enjoying popcorn and some whiskey while watching cartoons. Sitting a couple of feet away was Raynare, still dressed in her attire from earlier, sat on the same couch watching Natsu weirdly.

Earlier their talk with Irene wasn't much of anything. All Irene did was layout the agenda and rules for today. Natsu was Raynare's bodyguard of sorts until Raynare's operation in Kuoh was properly dismantled. To Raynare's surprise, Irene stated that the Fallen would be privy to meetings once all the pieces were in play. When Raynare asked what Irene meant by that, Irene merely said 'in due time' and left it at that.

Raynare also learned that the newest students at Kuoh all lived in this house as well as the newest bombshells in form of the Principal and the teacher. Not only that, Raynare learned they were very much gifted in the magic arts. One of them alone could potentially be put in the High or Ultimate class level of the Supernatural world.

The Fallen Angel shuddered at the thought. It was Nastu and Gray she had fought back in the park and they were holding back. If they went all out? Answer: She wouldn't be there now.

"You cold?" Natsu asked, not taking his eyes off of the TV.

Raynare looked at Natsu for a moment before shaking her head and clearing her thoughts. She was spacing out a bit. Right now she needed to learn as much as possible about these people. Maybe she could use the information against them… or maybe she just needed someone to talk to.

"No. But I do have some questions." Raynare replied.

Natsu ate another piece of popcorn before shooting a smile in Raynare's direction. In the background Happy was playing tactical waterguns with Lector. Frosch just ran around with joyous laughter. Lily and Carla were outside soaking up the sun in swimwear. To the Fallen, this was the oddest bunch of people she had met in quite some time. And she's been places.

"Go for it Ray-Ray."

"It's Raynare." She corrected with a slight pout.

"Sure thing Ray-Ray."

One very detailed talk later

"So you're from another world?"

"Uh-huh."

"And you use magic?"

"Yep."

"And you're a hybrid of sorts with the powers of a Devil and a Dragon?"

"The correct wordage would be Etherious Demon but yeah."

"And you actually have a job?"

"Yep!"

"And you've been on all those adventures…"

Natsu chuckled before setting an empty bowl down on the coffee table. It had started out with a simple question of who Natsu and company were. But instead of giving a simple answer Natsu decided to spill the beans. He asked Irene about it earlier and she didn't mind as long as Raynare didn't go blabbing about it.

So Raynare patiently sat on the couch and listened to the life story of Natsu Dragneel, featuring guest appearances from his fellow Slayers, the Exceeds, Anna and Irene.

Although he wasn't the brightest, Raynare was enraptured with the tale of Natsu Dragneel and the people he practically considered family. Starting all the way as far back as his first life, Raynare learned that Natsu was fully human before dying alongside his parents as a young child. Although Raynare herself was no stranger to killing innocent people (women, children and elderly), she was saddened to learn that Natsu had to meet such a fate. Natsu merely dismissed it with a warm smile and a positive attitude. He stressed how he remembers his second life more often than his first and wouldn't trade anything for it.

Raynare then shockingly learned about Natsu's twin brother and adoptive Dragon dad. Zeref Dragneel was talked about like he was the plague, which was fitting given everything Natsu knew and learned about him. As opposed to Igneel, Natsu spoke with a fondness about the Fire Dragon King. Raynare also learned of the fact Natsu was fused with the greatest fire demon his world had ever seen.

Natsu continued on, telling Raynare about the fact that he and four others were trained by actual dragons before being sent into the far future to defeat a powerful beast known as Acnologia. From then on Raynare learned of Igneel's disappearance, Natsu finding Fairy Tail and all the adventures afterwards. Other than his power and his story, what caught Raynare's attention was Natsu's positive mindset… and all the women that had impacted the Hybrid's life. Speaking of…

"Natsu… who is Lucy again?" Raynare asked.

Natsu smiled a longing, fond smile and looked to the ceiling. Raynare would have immediately been jealous that he was smiling like that for someone else. The Fallen just shoved the feeling down, still curious as to why Natsu always had that look when talking about this 'Lucy' girl.

("Or the similar look he had mentioning that Lisanna chick…")

"Lucy Heartfillia is… amazing. She's a Celestial Spirit Mage, an amateur author and my best friend. I met her July 2, X784 while I was searching for Igneel. Her dream was to go to Fairy Tail and become a great mage that her late mother Layla could be proud of. I was the one who brought her to Fairy Tail after saving her and we haven't really been apart all that much since."

Raynare edged closer and got comfortable as she listened to Natsu.

"She's strong, smart, courageous as hell and someone who won't back down no matter how bad it gets. For everything she is, she's all that and more." Natsu spoke wistfully.

Raynare, despite being jealous, found herself smiling. Romance like this was something she had only seen in pop culture or literary works. But here was this amazing being, who had faced countless trials in life, speak about the happiness he had more or less worked so hard for.

"Plus she's probably going to be elevated from Princess to Queen since she's my mate so there's that too." Natsu joked with a grin.

Raynare blinked for a few moments before shaking her head. Mate? Raynare then realized that since Natsu was part dragon and part demon, with the added fact of being the adopted son of dragon royalty, he could more or less have…

Raynare's eyes brightened before she cleared her throat and adopted a small smile.

"And what about your old friend Lisanna?" Raynare queried.

Natsu adopted a sheepish expression and chuckled while scratching his face. In the background, Happy managed to get Lector straight in the chest with a shot from his water gun, making Sting's partner fall down in a fit of dramatics, looking as though he were dead. Happy celebrated by jumping in place and firing off a few shots with his water gun before running off.

"Lis is one of my oldest and most cherished friends. When I thought she died, what we had before kind of just ended you know? But when she came back it was almost like she never left. Sure we've never been closer, but I always felt that she should be happy with someone after everything she's been through." Natsu answered.

"Do you think she might be another mate for you?"

Natsu blinked a few times before blushing a little and looking away. Igneel and END had already talked to him about this several times. Being a hybrid had its perks… like now knowing he could have a gaggle ton of women to bear his children and love him for all eternity.

Lisanna was the closest to ever becoming Natsu's girlfriend before being spirited away to Edolas. Of course they were also Happy's foster parents since the blue Exceed's real ones were in Edolas or more specifically Extalia (After the Edolas trip they moved to Earth Land though). Had Lisanna not left, Natsu and her would have ended up together. But things happened for a reason.

Then Lucy came and it stirred feelings in him that he thought he had unconsciously let go of. In the time they spent together, they always had moments where romance was abound yet the moments were always ruined due to all the chaos that was happening during their adventures. But when the chaos was over, Natsu and Lucy actually found time to talk when Natsu wasn't the eager adventurer. It was those peaceful moments that led to Natsu taking Lucy's first kiss, which happened right after defeating Future Rogue. It was only a week or two later that they shared their first time together.

Natsu's blushed intensified drawing a snort and a giggle from Raynare.

"I guess that answers my question." Raynare assumed.

Natsu shook his head and cleared up his blush. Now was not the time to be thinking back to that nice, rainy day in Magnolia.

"It's… possible. But right now Lisanna and I are friends. If she's ok with sharing me I won't mind. I just want her to be happy is all." Natsu answered.

Raynare giggled a little bit more before calming down and smiling. She could honestly see why Natsu was so appealing to all the women he's met. He had all the best qualities a young man should have. On top of that, he was a powerful mage with many years ahead of him.

"You know, getting to know like this is nice. You're honestly a pretty decent guy Natsu." Raynare admitted.

"You're pretty cool yourself Ray-Ray!" Natsu complimented.

"Oh nonsense!" Raynare dismissed bashfully.

"But you know…"

Natsu moved a bit closer to Raynare, taking in her scent. To a Dragon Slayer, each person's scent is unique. For a Dragon Slayer's mate or mate prospect, their scents cause different types of reactions garnering positive thoughts. There's also the fact certain scents create reactions that are better explained in a Dragon's translation of The Birds & The Bees but that information is unavailable.

Anyways, Natsu couldn't help but tense up before relaxing. Raynare's scent was that of black cherries. Lucy's scent was that of strawberries with a hint of vanilla while Lisanna's scent was that of vanilla mixed in with lavender. And Lisanna wasn't Natsu's mate… yet.

"All this talk about me and we never talked about you. I already learned about the history of this world but I figure I'd like to hear some stories from those who were a part of it." Natsu explained.

Raynare looked thoughtful for a moment. Part of her was afraid Natsu would hate her for what she did in the past. While another part of her wanted to be honest. She never thought she would become friends so fast with her captor. Well he really wasn't her captor more or less her very watchful bodyguard but details. After weighing the pros and cons of disclosing her past, Raynare hummed again while shrugging.

"I guess there's no harm in telling you. After all, fair is fair."

"Awesome!"

(Scene Change – Gajeel and Tsubaki)

Kuoh Academy

Library

Gajeel found himself strolling up and down sections of the library. He never really did understand people's infatuation with books. Of course once he met Levy, he totally changed his opinion, if only slightly.

Gajeel had managed to learn about literature while on Themyscira but he wasn't privy to much books. He and the rest of the gang had history down, as history was too easy of a subject. Math and Science of course were a chore, though but Gajeel and everyone else easily figured they could scrape by with average grades. And as for literature? Everyone, Natsu included, did better than him and it was only day two.

With a slight sigh, Gajeel looked around the shelves. As he continued to scan for a book, Gajeel's beady eyes found the section on mythology and folklore. He let out a snicker once he saw everything concerning Greek Mythology. From what Diana had told the Slayers, not all the books got the history of Greek Gods and the legends down the correct way. But both her and the Slayers surmised it was a worthy sacrifice. Although people each had their own religion to follow, it was best to let the truth about all Greek Mythos stay a myth.

Gajeel continued to scan for good books until he came across certain books in the fiction and non-fiction sections. One title in particular caught the Phantom Dragon Slayer's eye and he plucked it right off the shelf. Snapping the book open, Gajeel's ruby colored eyes looked at the notes from the author and couldn't help but hum and nod in appreciation.

("A book about a man's journey through war while finding love. Seems… actually interesting.")

"I wonder if shrimp would find this as a good read?" He mused aloud with a smirk.

Just then Gajeel's smirk dropped as his nose picked up a familiar scent. The dark haired teen sniffed around for a bit before grinning. Oh now this was going to be fun.

Tsubaki Shinra was enjoying herself as she took a chance to indulge herself in one of her favorite pastimes… reading. Sure, she loved strategy games, had an appreciation for art and enjoyed the outdoors to an extent. But reading was a love of hers.

Her dual colored eyes scanned the page of a literary work Ernest Hemmingway. While studying the history of the world, Tsubaki thought back to the lectures on various famous persons that were involved in the World Wars. Hemmingway's experience in World War I was one of the things that contributed to his creativity in writing some of the best stories the world would ever read.

As she caught another section, Tsubaki wasn't mindful of her surroundings at the moment.

"Yo Shinra."

The rumbling voice startled Tsubaki and she let out a gasp, clutching the book to her chest. She turned and saw a grinning Gajeel Redfox, hand in one pocket and the other hand holding a book.

"Gihi! Scared ya didn't I?" Gajeel queried with a grin.

Tsubaki blushed before clearing her throat and regaining her composure.

"Redfox." Tsubaki responded, ignoring the question.

Gajeel chuckled before approaching the dark haired girl. He looked at her with a quirked brow and couldn't help the grin that formed on his face.

"Guess that answers my question. So what'cha reading doll? Something good?"

Tsubaki stared Gajeel down with a coldness and simply decided to walk past him.

"I highly doubt you would be interested." Tsubaki replied coolly.

Gajeel's hand shot out of his pocket and grabbed her bicep, stopping the dual eye colored girl from moving. Tsubaki had closed her eyes, signaling she was more than done with whatever conversation that was attempted. It also signaled she was a bit irritated. It was day two and she had already made up her mind she didn't like Gajeel at all. From initial impressions regarding Gajeel Redfox, she thought of the teen as nothing short of a delinquent with a fetish for metal and a penchant for shenanigans. Not to mention there was an air of arrogance and cockiness about him.

For example, not too long after the day kicked off, there was a complaint about a locker containing a smelly package. Turns out, the student had found dog feces mixed with rotten eggs in a plastic bag. But that wasn't the worst part. The student found out that his some of his books and extra clothes had been ruined completely by the smell along with the wetness that seeped through the bag.

When Tsubaki and a few other student council members investigated, she could have sworn that she heard the faint laughter of Gajeel and the blonde teen identified as Sting Eucliffe. Needless to say, Tsubaki was less than amused.

"Don't be like that Shinra. I'm only messing around cuz that's my way of being friendly." Gajeel admitted with a smirk.

"Is that why you put that foul smelling bag in that student's locker?" Tsubaki queried with an unamused look.

"Gihi! Yep! And it was funny huh?" Gajeel replied with a snicker.

Tsubaki rolled her eyes, actually rolled her eyes and sighed. How immature of him. Her opinion of him was getting lower and lower by the second.

"Although you admitted to it, I'll warn you to never do it again. Otherwise there will be punishment. Do I make myself clear?"

Gajeel chuckled and let go of her arm. He walked behind her and bent down to where his face was besides hers.

"Relax doll. I ain't here to cause too much trouble. That and you never answered my question."

Gajeel looked down at the book that was now closed and tightly clutched to her… ample bosom. Come to think of it, he had now caught her scent full force. Little did Gajeel realize, his dragon instincts were starting to kick in. He was fully committed to Levy, there was no mistaken that. However, if he were to meet someone in this world that could be an additional mate, he may have to reconsider his stance. Besides, Dragon Slayer or Devil Slayer, your instincts were your best guide to survival. And if his instincts said to keep an eye on Shinra, he was going to do that.

"You into Hemmingway too? Good choice." Gajeel commented lowly.

Tsubaki shifted uncomfortably with the red eyed teen literally in her space. She could feel the warmth radiating off of him. She could even smell his breath, mint mixed in with metal (odd). All she could do was nod before stepping away, much to Gajeel's amusement.

"As much as I would like to discuss books, I have some work to catch up on." Tsubaki said before excusing herself.

Once Tsubaki left the vicinity, Gajeel's smirk dropped and a frown formed. He growled a little before sighing. Running a hand through his spikey mane, the Phantom Dragon Slayer decided to browse around the library some more. He needed to take his mind off of how slightly tempting Tsubaki's scent was.

(Scene Change – Gray and The Student Council)

Student Council Office

"I appreciate you coming in on such short notice. I know you and your friends are looking for clubs at the moment."

"It's no biggie. Just surprised as all you wanted to talk."

Gray was sitting across from Sona as both were engaged in a game of chess. How did this happen?

Gray's day had been nothing but a repeat of yesterday minus the fanfare. Or an add to the fanfare given how hormonal most the girls were being. Literature and Linguistics class consisted of getting books, given this is what the class did every Tuesday and Thursday. Math class was easy so just zoned out. Science wasn't really his strong suit so he made sure to take notes. Lunch was tame since it was just him and Gajeel… or as tame as it could get when girls wanted to sit next to him and Gajeel. History class was easy so again he could just goof off.

Homeroom consisted of the useless chatter of gossip and whatever everyone did in their personal time. Gray didn't really pay any attention to it until a name popped up. Rias and Akeno talked about how Issei Hyoudou had now been put in the Occult Research Club. From what Gray had been told, the ORC was a cover up for Rias and her peerage to operate freely. If Issei was now a member, it meant things would no longer be normal for the king of all perverts. Which Gray was slightly relieved about since he and Natsu failed to save Issei from Raynare in the park days prior.

The day other than the tidbit in homeroom was not at all eventful. It was when school was coming to a close that Sona and her VP/Queen, requested he come by. He complied and slung his bag over his shoulder before making his way to the Student Council office. When he first got there he noted how they were down a member. Internally Gray groaned at the fact that Gajeel went overboard and kicked Saji's ass a bit too hard. Then again, the fight was really just testing the waters. He kind of wanted to take on Sona' peerage on his own just for kicks but he didn't voice it to Irene or Anna. Besides, they both would have shot it down. Even with his excellent control of his Devil Slayer powers, there was always the risk he might kill them by accident.

Sona then treated Gray to a chat, tea and an impromptu game of chess. Right now, Gray was in a bind. Sona was truly a chess prodigy and her ability to think ahead gave her all the edge she needed. But Gray's skills were not to be discounted. He could strategize with the best of them which was how he was not taken out within the first few moves.

"So tell me Mr. Fullbuster…"

Gray paused while thinking and looked to Sona. He gave her a dismissive wave and a smirk.

"Call me Gray. You don't have to be formal around me Sona its fine." He told her.

Sona just tilted her head with her usual cool expression. She decided to hold off on the question for now. Out of all the new students, he intrigued her the most.

"Very well. Are you going to make your move?"

"Hm? Oh yeah."

During their game Sona had constantly questioned Gray. She asked about his likes, dislikes, hobbies and how he was liking Kuoh so far.

"If anything this place is pretty cool. I can see why the academy would be something people dream of attending. That said, what's with some of the girls around here?" Gray queried.

The others, all female, looked at the young man with confusion, minus Sona and Tsubaki of course.

"What do you mean?" Tsubaki asked in response.

Gray looked up at the ceiling for a few moments before sighing in frustration. He then looked to Sona with an exasperated expression.

"Ever since I got here, since I only started yesterday mind you, I've been getting hit on, had notes somehow attached to my desk and random girls taking selfies with me. I just want to know why they're all acting like they are is all." Gray explained.

All the girls, including Sona and Tsubaki sweat dropped. Of course they all knew that the new kids were being hounded constantly. They had received word of how Wendy Marvell had more or less become the most popular girl in the Middle School division in one day. The boys on the other hand were a different animal altogether. Each of them had their own charms and personas that just drew people towards them.

Sona knew that with Gray, he was pretty calm, collected and someone who didn't really need to try hard at being cool. Even so, his feathers were a bit ruffled at the extra attention he was getting.

However, Sona knew there was something about Gray and his friends that seemed off. Though it was faint, Sona could tell that Gray had some sort of power in him. Normal humans had a certain signature that the Sitri heiress could identify easily. A majority of the supernatural beings that she encountered were each catalogued having a unique signature. But Gray and his friends were different. And that alone made Sona curious and very suspicious.

Clearing her throat she motioned for Gray to perform his next move which he did.

"I'll see what I can do to help you Gray. Although it won't be of much help. The female students here are very passionate about almost everything they do." Sona told him.

"I'll take what I can get. Thanks Sona." Gray replied with a shrug.

"It's of no consequence."

The two continued their game for several minutes until Sona had won. But this victory had been a close one. She had only managed to keep 6 of her pieces on the board as opposed to Gray's 3 before the raven haired teen called it quits.

"Damn. I'm happy my skills improved but I'm nowhere near your level yet Sona. You're pretty good." Gray complimented.

"Why thank you. My skill is merely born from my passion for chess. That and any game involving strategy piques my interest." Sona responded with a small smile.

"Really? Ever play the game Risk?"

Sona looked a bit surprised before a pleased smile came over her beautiful face.

"Why yes. It's actually one of my favorites besides chess." Sona replied.

"Well we definitely have to play it some time. Even invite my friends over. They may not look it, but strategy games are something they enjoy too." Gray offered.

Sona closed her eyes for a moment and hummed in thought. She was rather eager to get to know about the rest of Gray's group. Tsubaki had offered reports about Gajeel that seemed… not all that flattering. Sting was a bit better in terms of behavior but still a bit immature and too carefree. According what Rias heard from Koneko, Rogue was polite, a gentleman and a stoic type. It wasn't a surprise that the first year girl found herself eating lunch with the teen who could be mistaken for Gajeel's more mature twin. Natsu, who was a no show, seemed to be cut from the same cloth as Sting. But she really didn't have enough evidence to form a complete picture as to who Natsu was. And for Wendy… that little one was too cute and too pure for words to describe. Though she wasn't in the high school division, Wendy had earned a great reputation in her first two days at Kuoh Academy.

Sona opened her eyes and offered Gray a small smile.

"We can arrange that someday. Whenever my schedule is open, we can definitely put together a game night." Sona agreed.

"Sounds like a plan." Gray said with a nod.

The Devil Slayer grabbed his bag and got up from the couch. As he walked over to the door, he threw a wave over his shoulder.

"See ya tomorrow Sona. Thanks for the game."

Not waiting for a reply, Gray exited the student council room. Not long after he left, Sona stood up and fixed her skirt.

"That was quite refreshing." Sona commented.

"Yeah. All in all, he was pretty nice." Ruruko added with a smile.

The others agreed with hums and nods, minus Tsubaki of course. Sona took her place at the desk and decided to continue working a bit before calling it a day. The Sitri heiress eyed her peerage and wanted to make sure everything was in order.

"Even so we still have business to complete. Momo and Ruruko, go check on Saji. I need to know how his injuries are. Given what happened last night, he will be out of commission for a time." Sona instructed.

Momo and Ruruko stepped forward and bowed.

"Yes president." They said in unison.

Both girls teleported out of the room, leaving Sona, Tsubaki, Tsubasa, Tomoe and Reya. Tomoe stepped up, hands folded at her front.

"Tomoe, I'd like for you to check on the Kendo Club and come back with the standard report."

"Yes President." Tomoe replied with a nod.

Tomoe then proceeded out of the room, leaving Tsubasa and Reya to receive their orders.

"As for you two, I'd like for you to patrol campus for a bit. If you spot anything out of the ordinary, contact either Tsubaki or myself."

"Yes ma'am." Tsubasa replied.

"Right away." Reya responded.

After the Rook and Bishop of Sitri left, Sona decided to sort through papers and reports while simultaneously taking care of notes. Tsubaki grabbed a clipboard and took her place in a chair next to her King's desk.

"What do you have so far Tsubaki?" Sona queried.

Tsubaki cleared her throat and took a look at the notes she had typed up and printed off.

"We'll start with the reports of Stray Devil activity. As of now several have been moving in and out of the territory, their movements inconsistent with their normal patterns. Additionally agents and informants of the Beelzebub Clan have noted on several different occasions a severe influx in magic energy that surpasses even yourself and Lady Rias." Tsubaki began.

"Interesting… continue, please."

Tsubaki nodded before her eyes scanned the page and her thoughts became more organized. Now she could properly put everything into proper words.

"I've managed to piece together our collective notes on the mysterious figures who have appeared in the territory…"

Sona then listened as Tsubaki discussed the findings on the three figures that have appeared… so far at least.

It was confirmed that there were at least six of these powerful figures now residing in Kuoh. Of the six, only three had been visually confirmed by Sona's Peerage and Rias' Peerage, with the former fighting two and the latter encountering one. Rias and her peerage got off lucky when it came to the man they encountered.

("Thank Satan neither escalated the situation. Knowing Rias her pride and overprotective nature would have only made the situation worst.") Sona remarked.

While Sona and her group had encountered two men using Ice and Metal magic respectively, Rias and her group nearly provoked a light magic user. Theories lit up Sona's mind as to why that man was here and if he had any connection to the other two men.

What also stood out were the weapons. They weren't Sacred Gears, that much was certain… at least almost certain.

("One favored guns, another favored a large broadsword and the last could summon different weapons. As far as I know, no Sacred Gear matches what we have noted so far.")

Regardless, Sona knew that she and Rias had their hands full. Life was going along rather smoothly. Sona and Rias were respected by their human peers, earned good grades and enjoyed their time amongst humanity.

Then certain people came out of nowhere and things had been shaken up considerably.

Who was Irene Belserion really? What was her real connection to the new students and the new teacher?

Were the powerful figures tied to the church or some faction? Or were they guns for hire?

Sona needed to take a step back. Whatever growing situation that came with the Fallen Angels being in town had to be left to Rias. For now, Sona would step back, analyze and strategize. She would back up Rias should the situation escalate to the point they needed to clean house. As it stood the Cold War tensions between the three factions were evident. Angels kept to themselves, Devils often interacted with humanity and the Fallen were agents of chaos, from Sona's perspective to an extent.

Which begged another question?

("What is going on that we can't see?")

(Scene Change – Rogue and The Kendo Club)

Kendo Club Room

Afternoon

Rogue found himself standing outside the Storage Warehouse. Like the others he was drifting from club to club, seeking which one appealed to him the most. Of course, Natsu and Gray excused themselves from joining clubs. Both felt that they had no need to do so and rather spend their time living up to their cover or training. It wasn't the best excuse but it was something Irene and Anna reluctantly agreed to. Plus, Wendy needed company other than the Exceeds all the time after school so there was that.

Rogue hummed before deciding to enter the building. While Archery club held some interest, Rogue really wanted to see what the Kendo Club was all about. Sure, he was one of three swordsman on the team but he excelled better than Gajeel and Gray. His technique, speed, power and form were damn near perfect. All other aspects had been worked on to a point where they were practically instinct. But when he really thought about it… did he really need to join?

Probably not. But there was no harm in it.

It took Rogue only a few minutes before he found the room he was looking for. Sliding the door to the side, Rogue's senses notified the Shadow user to many things. Filing away some of his observations, the ruby eyed teen put his hands in his pockets as he observed a sparring match going on.

Standing off to the side, Murayama and Katase were in the school's Kendo uniform, a white uwagi and navy colored hakama. The same applied to the rest of the Kendo club, some wearing armor, some not. To Rogue it seemed as though the practice today had scheduled sparring. Rogue watched with interest as the two combatants parried and slashed at each other. Granted, the combat ability wasn't at the level of himself or the others but still rather impressive. Rogue had heard how good the Kuoh Academy Kendo Team had been. They had managed to win numerous titles in each decade following World War II. The current team however had only lasted until the championship round only to lose for three years straight. Those who kept their eyes on stuff like this knew this year would be different.

Last year, Murayama and Katase, both first year students, had outshined their seniors in practice and spars, earning a reputation for being some of the fiercest swordswomen in the area. Their skills, hard work and dedication led them to being nominated as Co-Captain and Captain of the Kendo Team for Kuoh Academy. This was done all while simultaneously managing the Kendo Club with help from the members.

Rogue continued to watch the spar for several minutes before Murayama sounded the whistle.

"Alright then, time's up!"

Both fighters exited their stances and bowed before each other. The fighters then took the time to remove their protective headgear. Rogue's senses were once again alerted to what he was smelling. Rogue barely paid attention to what was being heard. But what he smelled and saw started to mess with his inner dragon. Rogue shifted and narrowed his eyes, forcing whatever feelings that were bubbling to calm down. He looked over and saw that the Captain had finished her speech before looking over in his direction. All the other members, all female, saw him and they couldn't help but get restless (in a good way).

Shaking his head, Rogue strolled his way into the room, listening to the whispers and murmurs coming from every member of the Kendo Club. It was like this anytime he or the guys went any place in the school. The only one he knew didn't act like hormonal teenagers were the Devils and Shinto faction. Rogue would have included the teachers but every now and then the shadow user felt their eyes on him.

Stopping before Murayama, Katase and the two fighters from before, Rogue offered a small smile.

"Hey there." He greeted.

The gentle, smooth greeting nearly made every girl in the room lose their composure. Bravely, they fought the feelings of lust and admiration by simply smiling with bright blushes. Murayama and Katase were no different as they eyed Rogue while trying to come up with a response.

("Oh god I want him to whisper to me at night… I'd make a mess of my panties if he did.") Murayama thought hot and bothered.

("He's so hot!~") Katase moaned internally.

Clearing her throat Katase offered Rogue her hand and the two shook. The coral haired girl enjoyed the strong grip Rogue had.

"Good evening! My name's Katase, Captain of Kuoh's Kendo Team and member of the Kendo Club." Katase greeted first.

Rogue then shook Murayama's hand, the brunette having the same thoughts her best friend had.

"And I'm Murayama, Co-Captain of the Kendo team. It's really nice to meet you." Murayama said second.

Stepping back, Rogue chuckled making the girls internally swoon.

"It's nice to meet you. I'm Lyos Cheney, one of the new students that started yesterday." Rogue said introducing himself.

"So that's who you are? I heard rumors about how you and those other guys blew the fitness test out of the water. You're really good!" a dark haired member exclaimed.

Rogue simply smirked. Although it was a beneath him, having a reputation was good. None of the Slayers had an ego, not really. That said, they did enjoy praise where they could find it. Whether it be back in Earth Land or here.

"It wasn't much really. My friends and I are like brothers. We push each other pretty hard when training and it showed." Rogue dismissed with a shrug.

"Still athleticism like that is hard to come by." Another girl chimed in.

"If only more of the boys would be like him our Academy's teams would actually do better." One girl said to her friend.

Katase smiled looking around the room before looking back at Rogue.

"So what can we do for you today Lyos?" she asked.

"I was considering joining a club and there weren't many that tickled my fancy. So when I learned about the Kendo club, I decided to take a look for myself." Rogue explained.

Murayama and Katase took the brief explanation in stride. It didn't take long before their faces lit up in realization.

"Oh wow! Are you trying to join?" Murayama queried with a hopeful look.

Rogue dropped his smirk and nodded. The girls minus Murayama and Katase all murmured in excitement. With his athleticism, they all speculated the dark haired teen could have joined any club geared towards bettering the Academy's sports teams. There was already word that Tengge Yomoda had become the swim team's brightest star, even though she was a transfer. But Rogue choosing to come to their club? The club for the longest time had been, by tradition, an all female club. Over the years once the school allowed male students to enroll, all other clubs and athletic teams slowly integrated male students into their ranks. But not the Kendo Club.

Katase stepped up and placed her hands on her hips. She smirked confidently up at Rogue.

"Alright Lyos. Other than the necessary paperwork there's only one other thing you need to get in." she told him.

Rogue raised an eyebrow questioningly. It seemed simple enough. Maybe she was going to test him somehow?

"And that would be?"

Katase motioned for Murayama to step forward, shinai in her hands. Katase took the shinai out of Murayama's grasp and held it up to Rogue. The Shadow user narrowed his eyes, easily figuring out what his test was.

"To become a full fledged member of our club, you have to show you the skill and passion to be one of us." She informed him.

Rogue looked around the room before looking down at the shinai again.

("So to join I just have to show off my sword skill and impress them enough to get in? Interesting…")

Rogue looked into Katase's eyes and smirked, making the coral haired girl slightly nervous. As a Dragon Slayer, Rogue wasn't going to allow himself to be embarrassed or defeated. This test would surely be interesting…

("So… who will be my opponent?")

(Scene Change – Issei meets ORC)

Old School Building

Afternoon/Evening

Constant harassment from his friends and the belittlement from the girls emotionally drained Issei greatly. He thought being accompanied by both Rias and Akeno would boost his standing. But due to his past transgressions as leader of The Perverted Trio, Issei's reputation was still shaky at best. The day blurred by and despite his hesitance, Issei enjoyed his time talking to Aika Kiryuu. The two longtime friends just talked about random things ranging from class to what kept them busy in their downtime. Aika also caught Issei up on the latest gossip, lifting up Issei's spirits a bit.

Then just like that the day was over.

Turns out, Yuuto Kiba had been sent to retrieve him at Rias' request. Quickly saying goodbye to Aika, ignoring her questioning eyes, Issei let himself be escorted by the school's appointed prince. As they walked together, Issei was subjugated yet again to the remarks of every female in the school. Irked and quite honestly exasperated, Issei grumbled as Kiba led him to the old school building. To say the walk was awkward was an understatement. Kiba literally led Issei into the more secluded part of Kuoh Academy's campus which made Issei a bit paranoid. He feared that he might get jumped at any moment and karma reduce him to a pitiful mess for all his peeking.

Neither happened as within minutes of leaving the building and walking on the trail, Issei Hyoudou found himself now standing outside the old school building. According to what he heard, there were talks about restoring the outside so the place could be preserved as a historical piece for when tourists passed through. At the moment though, Issei believed the building was in good shape despite being so damn old. This was the academy that had been around post World War II.

Issei shrugged and continued to follow Kiba until they were inside. Heading up the stairs, Issei then noticed a strange door with what looked to be papers, chains and signs to ward people away.

("Just what the hell did I walk into? What's in that room?") Issei thought slightly scared.

"And here we are!"

Kiba's voice brought Issei out of his musings as they had arrived at their destination.

"President, I've brought him as requested." Kiba announced, briefly glancing at Issei.

"Good! Come in!" a feminine voice beamed from the other side.

Both boys walked in and Issei blushed slightly as his eyes zeroed in on the person that the voice originated from. Not even bothering to pay attention to the fancy, slightly gothic décor, Issei focused in on the crimson haired beauty who had saved him. Right now Rias was sitting behind her desk, clad in her school uniform drying her hair.

Seeing her smile made Issei's heart beat a bit faster and his mind become a mess. As the brunette followed Kiba, Issei also noted the other two people in the room. Sitting together on the couch near Rias' desk was Akeno and the school's mascot, first year student Koneko Toujou. Akeno was enjoying a cup of tea while Koneko ate sweets from a small plate.

"Please take your seat, I'll be with you in a moment." Rias informed them.

Both boys nodded before taking their seats across from Akeno and Koneko. On the coffee table was a glass of water for Issei and a cup of tea for Kiba. The newly minted Devil thought to himself that he could get used to this.

("Am I joining their club? If so it be nice to make new friends and hang out with Rias and Akeno.") Issei thought as he sipped his water.

Rias finished drying her hair and walked over to the others.

"Now that we are all here let's begin!"

Rias then looked over to Issei. The brunette looked over to Rias questioningly before sheepishly smiling and rubbing the back of his head.

"Right… My name's Issei Hyoudou, second year student. It's nice to meet everyone." Issei said with a slight chuckle.

"Yuuto Kiba, a fellow second year student. Finally nice to meet you Issei." Kiba chirped with a friendly wave.

"Likewise… I guess."

Rias nodded happily before looking over to the two females on the opposite couch. Akeno took the cue and set her cup down. Koneko on the other hand continued to enjoy her sweets. Akeno smiled and tilted her head cutely.

"Though you met Rias and I earlier, my name is Akeno Himejima. I am a third year student and a classmate of Rias." Akeno said at first.

"Yeah… 'met' would be putting it mildly Akeno." Issei commented with a near deadpan.

Akeno simply giggled and cover her mouth with her fingers. The raven haired girl opened her eyes, suddenly making Issei a bit nervous.

"You gave Rias and I such a great time last night. We barely had enough time to shower. We couldn't even shower together to help clean ourselves after you made such a mess of our bodies." Akeno teased with a wide smile.

Issei gaped, blushed and let blood flow out of his right nostril. The audacity! Akeno just had to put those images into his head. Him lying in bed, locked into battles of passion with a raven haired minx and a crimson haired mistress. Issei then took on a perverted look, a dumb smile etching across his face. Kiba sheepishly chuckled at the brown haired boy's reaction. Koneko on the other hand paused in eating her sweets and aimed her blank stare at the daydreaming boy.

"That's disgusting. Filthy pervert." Koneko insulted.

Issei snapped out of his daydream drawing giggles out of Rias and Akeno and a chuckle from Kiba. Koneko simply went back to enjoying her sweets, not caring about the fact she hurt the boy's feelings.

"And that's Koneko Toujou, a first year student here at the academy. Of course you and everyone else know her as the school's mascot." Rias chimed in.

"Well yeah…" Issei muttered.

With introductions out of the way, Rias called the meeting to session. Issei asked a few questions which seemed like questions Rias was ready to answer.

Starting off, the Occult Research Club was both legit and a front for the activities that went on within the club itself. In reality, Rias, Akeno, even Kiba and Koneko were all Devils. Before Issei could even comment, Rias went on to explain the Supernatural world, mainly pertaining to the three major factions. It was a lecture which was based on everything she had been taught before coming from the Underworld to live with humanity. Of course, the version of history she had been taught wasn't the whole story.

Issei learned of all Angels, Devils and Fallen Angels. He learned of the war that had ultimately decimated all three sides. He even learned that even after the fighting ended, all sides settled into a Cold War-like state. Just a spark would send all three sides back into war and that would mean absolute extinction if the fighting escalated to the point of no return.

Issei only asked Rias if she had proof to back what he called a tall tale. Rias simply raised a brow and went to go fish out something from her desk. The crimson haired girl set a folder down, the name on the front of it making Issei seize up.

Yuuma Amano.

When Issei asked how, he was once again informed on what had been going on. From what Rias was able to deduce, Yuuma, a Fallen Angel using the name as an alias, targeted Issei for the possibility of him possessing a Sacred Gear. When Issei asked what a Sacred Gear was, everyone pitched an answer in.

Apparently Sacred Gears were powerful weapons created by Biblical God (collective wince ensues) to help give humanity an edge when dealing with the Supernatural world. Each weapon varied in their uses and depending on how hard the user trained, the user would be powerful enough to slay a god.

"That's pretty bitchin'." Issei commented with a nod.

Rias huffed and smiled. She was expecting a myriad of reactions. But Issei's comment alone took the cake. The young man seemed in awe at the fact he might be in possession of a god slaying weapon. That was absolutely reasonable.

"Although crude, yes I agree." Rias said with amusement.

"So if I have a Sacred Gear, how do I activate it?" Issei asked.

"I can help with that actually. Stand up please." Rias offered before requesting.

Issei did as requested and stood up. Moving over to an open spot in the room Issei stood straight, looking to Rias for further instructions.

"Now I want you to think of the most powerful pose or stance and take it."

Issei nodded before his face became serious. Harkening back to his childhood, Issei remembered a particular manga/anime (which later got parodied as a Hentai), that was something he imitate around the house any chance he got. Shifting his legs and brining his hands to his right hip, Issei looked deep in concentration ready to summon his hidden power.

What ensued were crickets and sweat drops. Kiba chuckled while scratching his cheek. Akeno held a hand to her mouth to fight off a furious fit of giggles. Koneko simply deadpanned. And Rias, smiling in amusement couldn't help but let out a sigh.

"What on earth are you doing Issei?" Rias queried.

"It's the stance of one of my favorite characters from the manga Drag-so-ball! If I'm going to do this right I got to do so with style!" Issei answered enthusiastically.

Rias hummed and nodded in understanding. She too had moments where she imitated popular manga and anime in real life. Hence, why she pouted every time someone called her out on it. She was just having fun!

Clearing her throat while smiling, Rias directed her distracting trip down memory lane elsewhere.

"Yes, well it will have to do." Rias said trying to hold her composure.

Rias then put her hands on her hips, senses sharp as she wanted to proceed on with matters. This club meeting couldn't go on long before they all proceeded with Devil duties after all.

"Now remember to concentrate. Draw the power from within you and focus. Once you feel it come to you, release it." Rias advised.

Issei nodded before getting serious again. The brown haired teen began to get a feel for something within his very being. He could feel it! Step One was done.

("Although I'm pretty new to this, I got the hang of it already. Thanks handy power from my body!")

Step Two! Now all Issei had to do was channel it to a point where he could release it. Holding onto the power he found, which felt immense, the young man had trouble for a moment before finding his stride. Issei now found the power being channeled into his left arm.

With Step Two done, Issei just had one more step left. If he was going to do this, he needed to do it with some 'umph'.

"Dragon Wave!"

As Issei's hands shot forward, a light enveloped Issei's left hand, making Issei wince. The teen looked around and gaped at the fact the Devils were all wearing shades, protecting their eyes from the bright light.

("Why the hell are they wearing shades? And why the hell does my hand hurt?!")

Exiting the pose, Issei shook his left hand as the light died down and scales formed on his hand. After roughly a minute the scales morphed into a red, armored bracer with a jade colored gem and two golden spikes. The gauntlet allowed for the users fingers to be exposed.

Issei held his hand up and couldn't help but be in awe of what he was seeing. In his hand was a powerful weapon that could slay monsters, ghosts and possibly even gods.

"Woah…" Issei murmured.

Rias took the time to hold Issei's arm and inspect it. She looked over every inch of it and something felt… off. When Issei was gathering power, she and the others felt the surge of magical power from within Issei's being. For a moment, Issei was stronger than Rias by a small margin. That alone made Rias giddy. Sure, normal Devils cared about their power and being stronger than most. But Rias was by no means normal. Power whether when it came to being a heiress or wielding the patented Power of Destruction, had no meaning to her. She cared about her happiness and the happiness of those she considered friends and family.

("Which begs the question of why Issei's Sacred Gear resembles Twice Critical instead of something more…")

"Well, it seems you have unlocked your power. To my knowledge you're much stronger than most devils when reincarnated. Congratulations are in order Issei, you've exceeded my initial expectations." Rias complimented with an approving nod.

Issei blushed a bit and looked a bit bashful at the praise.

"Stop… getting even a little praise from you is making me embarrassed." Issei said looking off to the side.

Rias couldn't help but beam a smile before grabbing Issei's head and shoving it into her bosom. The crimson haired princess giggled as she ran a hand through Issei's hair.

"Oh I've got so many things planned for you my precious servant! Welcome to your new life as a Devil and a member of my family!" Rias declared.

"Thanks Rias!" came Issei's muffled reply, albeit with a growing blush.

"My oh my, it seems our President is getting carried away again." Akeno commented with a hand on her cheek.

"Prez is strange." Was Koneko's blunt observation.

"Well that's one way to welcome a new member." Kiba said with a chuckle.

Issei simply blinked as his senior held him to her bountiful chest. From the way things were going, Issei naturally assumed that Kiba and Koneko must be Devils too. After all, Rias did explain to him that the ORC was both legit and a front so that the club could operate in secret. Now getting a chance to look back at his life before and after his reincarnation, Issei was beginning to brighten up to the idea of being a Devil.

("If I play my cards right I could be super strong and have a gaggle-ass of women I can love for all my days! Being a Devil is awesome!") Issei mentally cheered.

Releasing a light laugh, Issei relished in being held by Rias for a little longer. For everything he expected, this was quite the welcome party.

Principal's Office

Evening

Irene was wearing a blue pantsuit with a black blouse. She was leaning back in her chair as she stared out the window.

Just a moment earlier, Irene received two separate messages.

The first message spoke about movements regarding Asia Argento. According to the message, Asia Argento arrived in Japan on Saturday and was provided room, board and a translator. The translator of course was provided by the Shinto faction, assuring Asia's safety before she traveled to Kuoh. But reports now indicated she was due to be in the city as early as tomorrow morning.

Irene didn't really think of it as an issue though. Sure, Asia would be in Kuoh a day ahead of time but Irene had plans in place to help make sure things went smoothly. The blonde haired nun would reside with the Fallen staged at the abandoned church and at first opportunity, Irene would rescue the girl from their grasp. From there on Irene could…

The Dragon Queen's senses picked up a new presence in the office. The door never opened and closed so she had a good feeling who just came in. Putting on a smile and releasing a chuckle, Irene swiveled in her chair.

"I'm glad you can make it. I take it you've found a club that tickles your fancy?"

Leaning on the wall next to the door was Rogue. His arms were crossed and his long hair was tied into a ponytail. After easily defeating both Murayama and Katase, Rogue had been welcomed into the club with open arms. Albeit, after pestering him and swooning over him due to how badass he was. If there was one thing Rogue would ever admit, it was to being badass. He knew it though, he just wanted to stay humble.

"Something like that." Rogue answered.

"Well good. I'm glad you did." Irene said with a nod.

Irene shuffled some papers as Rogue stayed in place and closed his eyes. Earlier in the day, Rogue received a request from Irene to see her at the end of the day. Now that classes, lunch and the club hunt was done, Rogue was curious to see why he was summoned.

"Was there a reason you needed me and not the others?" Rogue questioned.

Setting her papers aside, Irene laced her fingers together and perched her chin atop them.

"Gray, Gajeel and Sting are out on patrol. Wendy went home with Anna. And you already know about the situation with Natsu." Irene replied.

Typically teachers weren't allowed to give students rides unless it were special circumstances. Since Anna was Wendy's guardian/caretaker they got a pass. Plus, the trio of Slayers were needed to keep any monsters at bay while simultaneously keeping an eye out for the Fallen. It made sense as to why everyone was gone while Rogue was still here.

"Right. He's looking after the Fallen Angel."

"She does have a name you know." Irene reminded with a smirk.

Rogue opened his eyes only to narrow them at Irene. He was an embodiment of shadow and darkness. But even he knew there were lines not to be crossed when it came to fighting battles in the name of justice and the protection of the innocent. Like say… interrogation.

"Did it matter to you before, during, or after your interrogation?" Rogue remarked.

Irene's smirk dropped and the temperature in the room cooled a great extent. Irritation swelled up in Irene's being and the scarlet haired woman was doing her best not to let annoyance also worm its way into her being. She got enough criticism from Anna and that was enough to put her in an off mood almost the entire day. Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Irene reached into her desk and whipped out a manilla folder.

"I have an assignment for you tomorrow night. You and Wendy will be needed on this one." Irene informed him.

Rogue strolled up to the desk as Irene set the folder down and slid it across her desk. Rogue trapped the folder before lifting it up with both hands. The contents of the folder wasn't much but there was enough for Rogue to get an idea of what he was dealing with.

"Who's the target?" Rogue asked.

"A Stray Devil, her name is Viser."

"Viser?"

Irene nodded and Rogue opened up the folder. Ruby eyes scanned the photos and papers, taking in all the details. From his initial analysis, this was not good.

"Viser was a member of a Devil peerage where the king didn't exactly treat his peerage all that well. Mixed results in rating games, stories of sexual abuse and sexual assault from the household, gambling, debt, theft and of course murder." Irene explained.

Rogue felt anger and indignation swell within him. Why was it he wasn't dealing with scum at the source of all the suffering? Rias and Sona, along with both their families treated newly reincarnated Devils with care and respect. But not everyone was like that and that alone made him angry. He hated inequality and he definitely hated the mistreatment of those who were supposed to be considered 'family'. It was like the two incidents with Jiemma all over again.

"And why is he not the target?"

Irene huffed before leaning back in her chair. She too wanted to deal with any of the Devil nobles who mistreated their peerage members. It was thanks to the connections with the Olympian Pantheon, along with the Shinto faction that she had all the access to so many dirty secrets for many Devils in the underworld. For now all she could do was relay information she came across to the right people.

"Oh don't worry. That is being taken care of by the proper people. For now I'll need you and Wendy for this assignment."

Rogue lowered the folder to his side before nodding and turning heel. This mission seemed pretty straightforward. Locate a Stray Devil then eliminate it.

From what he read, Viser had been responsible for a string of murders for the last couple of weeks. The murders started with several single and married men living in the countryside before a trail led her to Kuoh Town. Now with her presence being made known, the police are starting to get curious as to why a couple of homeless men as well as several single business workers were being murdered after a brutal session of rape had occurred.

Knowing the type of situation they were about to get into, Rogue stopped at the door, back turned to Irene.

"Can she handle this?" Rogue asked, not facing Irene.

Irene knew from the young man's tone what he meant. Wendy, though trained by veteran warriors and alongside people who had seen the horrors of battle many times, was still too pure a soul to deal with something like this. Yes, she had faced down the demons of Tartaros, had her powers nearly taken from her in Edolas and even seen the future version of Lucy die before her eyes. But Wendy was a Dragon Slayer and one of the strongest people Irene had come to know. Although she is not like her Slayer brothers in some ways, she more than makes up for it in heart, determination and courage.

"Yes. I have all the faith she can do this mission with you."

Rogue said nothing for several seconds. The ruby eyed young man found the answer to be acceptable… for now anyway. If the mission got too difficult for Wendy, he could handle it solo.

Wasting no time, Rogue blended into the shadows and darkness of the office before disappearing. Irene swiveled her chair again and faced the window. The scarlet haired woman released a sigh before smiling. What she didn't tell Rogue was part of the second message she had received.

The second message spoke of the Stray Devil and the Stray's background. Additionally, the mission to eliminate said Stray had also been assigned to Rias' Peerage. Irene figured she would test Rias' group now that the opportunity had been given to her.

("Okay then 'Princess'… let's see how your peerage fares against one of my hatchlings.")

Had to come up with names for Aika Kiryuu's parents. Luckily I amended some mistakes in a previous chapter so Issei's parents' names are known.

Rina is a nickname for you know who. Lol

What happens next chapter? Our favorite nun makes an appearance, a couple of Ninja girls get some screen time and the fight with Viser is altered. Canon diverged already. I put it on a crazy train and sent it on some desolate path. Or it could be a path to paradise.

Yes Irene knew Viser was assigned to Rias and Co. and didn't bother to tell Rogue.

Also, I figured a way around to make sure the main characters are getting enough screen time per chapter. And I have to say, this method will prove useful. Of course, that won't always be the case.

As always I thank you for your ongoing support for the story. You guys make me want to be a better author. I will continue to deliver on this story and my other stories as best I can.
