The warthog-or was it a puma?- went flying through the air in a spectacular arc before crashing and burning in a fiery explosion. The noise echoed around the base, causing a great commotion as various soldiers dressed in tan armor came to see what had happened. The inferno that was now the LRV burned magnificently, a hunk of twisted and broken metal. Somehow, defying all logic, the vehicle's sole occupant was completely unharmed. A single soldier, clad in regulation blue armor, came walking up from the wreckage, seemingly unperturbed by his close call with death. Waiting for him was an aqua-clad marine, and a tan officer with a blue visor and highlights.

The aqua soldier opened up first "Caboose! What did I tell you! You're not allowed to operate any heavy machinery! We've only got so many jeeps!"

"Tucker, I am Caboose, the vehicle destroyer!" Caboose said in a triumphant tone, seemingly having not heard anything just said.

"Well, you crash any more of the New Republic's vehicles, and we might have to lock you up for our own safety," said the officer.

"Please Kimball, just do us a favor and lock him up anyway. It'll make life around here so much easier," Tucker said in an almost pleading tone. Although they could not see, it was clear Kimball was giving him a glare behind her helmet. Before she could respond in the negative though, there was another resounding crash behind them.

"Tucker did it!"

"I'm standing right here asshole!"

The trio walked over to see another warthog crashed, and a tan and red soldier at the wheel, apologizing profusely.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what happened," she said in a lisp. Beside her, a maroon soldier was in shock.

"How did that happen? One second we're fine the next we're off the track in a flaming wreck!"

Observing the scene from above, Tucker turned to Caboose and said, "Well, Mr. Vehicle destroyer, I think you've got some competition."

Just a short RvB flash fiction that I thought I'd share. Please review.
