A/N: Hey, guys I'm not dead. Man, it's been long. And look at that the amount of people has grown so much. Thank you all for sticking around. This chapter, well… I think I could've done better, maybe I'm a little bit rusty. I'm still looking for a beta though. Anyway, you probably want to start with the chapter.

I'll just clarify something first. The people who keep telling me. "Inches are not a time measure." Every time I put "A few inches later" I KNOW. I know that perfectly well, that it's just a reference to the time skips signs from sponge bob. It's still clear that refers to a few minutes or a short amount of time. Does this go in r/whoosh? Or maybe it was too hard to get? Am I in the wrong here? Well, who knows?

Anyway, enjoy the chapter, and thanks for still reading this far from perfect fic.

Growing Instincts

It was early in the morning. A peaceful day with clear blue skies.

A train arrived at its designated station. The doors opened and in one of them was a calmed Izuku Midoriya, yet the toast in his mouth could say otherwise. In an instant, his face contorted into one of complete panic. "AAAAAHHHH! I'm late!" With those words bursting out of his mouth, he ran as fast as the law could allow him.

He ran through the streets, dodging any person in his way. The poor cat boy was fearing whatever his homeroom teacher could do to him. The reason for his delay was worth it though.

Fortunately, turning the last corner to the entrance of U.A. he saw the door was still open. "All right." He chomped what was left of his toast and prepared himself for the last section of his morning race.

In mid-way to the door, he was blocked by a crowd of people that immediately surrounded him. "Excuse us! What kind of lessons does All Might teach?" They were the press.

"Nooooo! I was so close!" He lamented in his head. Resigned, Izuku turned to the reporter that made the question. "Eh?" He recognized the woman, and so did her. "You're that reporter in that helicopter in the floating baby incident."

"Y-Yeah. It's good to see you're okay." She answered. "Um, can you help us here? All the other students already entered U.A. and didn't give us any useful information."

"Sorry, I don't think I should disclose anything about heroes. And all of you should be more sensible knowing all the power you have." Izuku declined. He was pretty calm while being surrounded by so many people with cameras, but his job as a minor actor helped with that.

"Power?"

"Anyone can have access to a TV, including villains. Do you get where I'm going with this?" He tilted his head.

That left them in silence as their brains processed that information. Izuku was starting to wonder if they ever thought about that.

"If you want to be heroes in your way, please be more discreet with what you do. It would be of great help to us." Before he could continue, a hand grabbed him by the neck of his uniform, pulling him away.

"You're already running late… Don't waste more of my time, Midoriya." It was Aizawa, who shoved the boy inside the school.

When all the eyes were on the underground hero. He smirked, enjoying how the kid shut them up. Just for that, he'll overlook his delay.

XOX

When Izuku opened the door to his classroom, he noticed he was the last one to arrive.

"Midoriya! You're late! This is unbecoming of you!" Tenya, of course, was the first to point it out. "I hope you're not taking you villainous behavior when your fright to your everyday life." He chopped the air with his right hand.

"You're exaggerating, Iida-kun. This was just an accident." Izuku calmed his robotic friend down.

"I hope this doesn't happen again." Tenya adjusted his glasses.

"Well… That doesn't depend on me." The cat boy threw a furtive glance at a certain frog girl in the classroom.

Tsuyu's face went crimson and immediately looked away. Truth be told, she didn't fall asleep on top of Midoriya on purpose. She was just wanted to feel that warm of laying on top of her dad when she was little and ended up more comfortable than she expected.

"Tsu, are you okay?" Mina asked her friend, noticing her red face.

Fortunately, no one noticed Izuku's glance. "I'll make a great effort for this to not repeat itself, okay?" That satisfied the strict boy.

On his way to his seat, he greeted his other friends and then waited for Aizawa.

Toru was looking at him. Thinking about yesterday. "Was that real or was it a dream?" It was her biggest wish to be visible, so it could have been a dream.

Izuku's eyes wandered and caught on her own. A smile appeared on his face as he waved at her.

"It wasn't a dream!" Hagakure panicked when she figured she had been caught looking. Then another realization popped in her head. "He can see me blushing!"She smacked her head on her desk an cover it with her invisible arms. The thud caught some of her classmates' attention, but because they couldn't see what was wrong they didn't say anything.

Aizawa arrived a few minutes after that."I hope you're rested from yesterday's battle trial. I took the liberty of looking at your marks and evaluation." That caught the students' attention. "Kirishima, just because you can't control your power it's not an excuse to break yourself every time. You're not going to get far if you keep going like that, so I expect to see you trying to control it. Don't make me say it a third time."

"Y-Yes, sir!" The redhead shouted.

"Todoroki, just because you have a strong quirk doesn't mean you can overpower your way to the top."

"Understood…" Just as cold as his quirk, Shoto answered.

"Midoriya. You did well, but remind yourself that overconfidence it's a slow and insidious killer."

"Ah!" Kaminari recognized that phrase. "Sensei, do you play darkest dungeon?"

Shota wasn't expecting someone to get that… And in reality… No, he didn't play the game. The one who played it was his girlfriend, Emi. Surprisingly enough, she plays a lot of fucking dark games for someone with such quirk… "Wait… Did I just think of Emi as my girlfriend…? …Oh, God, why I'm okay with it?" Aizawa shook his head. Which helped that Kaminari had taken that as an answer. "Lastly, Bakugo. You're not a 7-years-old, you're wasting your talent."

"I know…"

"Also, here's what you asked me for yesterday." Shota held a pen drive.

Everyone looked with curiosity as Katsuki got up, took it, and sat again.

"What's that?" Izuku asked without shame what the rest of the class was thinking.

"None of your fucking business!" The ash-blond yelled back.

"Ah!" The cat boy puffed his right fist on his left palm. "It's that the recording of yesterday's fights?"

"IT'S NOT! Now shut up, fucking Deku!"

"It is…" The rest of the class thought in unison.

Izuku just smiled wider, happy that his words get to the explosive boy.

Unfortunately, that just pissed Katsuki off even more. "I'm going to blow your fucking smile away and dance while carrying your coffin!" Nobody believed that threat with Aizawa in the room.

"Now, let's get on with the homeroom notice…" The class went quiet. "I'm sorry to have to spring this on you but…"

"What now…? Another pop test?!" The students wondered with dread.

"We need to pick a class president…"

"Finally, something school-like!" After that exclamation, every student raised their hand.

Everyone except Izuku. "Hahaha, everyone has too much energy." He smiled happily.

"Be quiet!" Everyone looked at Tenya. "This is a task laden with responsibility. Just because it sounds fun doesn't mean you can! That why this must be settled by a vote!"

"You're the one with the hand raised the highest though, ribbit," Asui pointed to obvious. "And it's still too early to have developed any trust in each other."

"Yeah, man, everyone will just vote for themselves." Kirishima continued.

"And that's precisely why the person who does manage to earn multiple votes will be the truly appropriate person for the job!" Everyone looked at themselves, understanding that reasoning. "It's that all right, sensei?!"

"I don't care as long as it's decided before homeroom ends." Aizawa was already in his sleeping bag.

After ten minutes, the votes were counted… And the results shocked everyone, leaving them with their jaw hanging, even the stoic Todoroki couldn't help but be surprised.

"In third place with one vote is Katsiki Bakugo." Tenya began to read, but his body was shaking. "Second place for Momo Yaoyorozu with two votes." Nobody cared for that, they care for… "First place, Izuku Midoriya w-with Se-Se-Seventeen votes…"

"Wha-wha-wha-wha… What?!" Izuku shouted.

"I'm going to blow everyone here to kingdom come!" Katsuki was livid.

Tenya on the other hand was about to pass out.

"Okay, then it's decided." Shota intervened. "Midoriya will be the president and Yaoyorozu the vice-president."

The couple was in front of the class. And even though Momo was at least recognized, she was crestfallen. "This is not even funny. This was not even a competition…" She said, looking at the floor with hollow eyes.

"Um, excuse me…" Izuku had his hand up, catching everyone's attention. "I didn't ask for this. I didn't postulate myself."

"What?!" Good thing he always had his ear protectors or he would be deaf.

"I'm flattered, I really am. But I can't accept this position." He gave them an apologetic smile.

"Bro, but all of us voted for you because we believe in you," Eijiro interjected.

"Why are you declining, Midoriya?" Momo asked, curious for his reasoning.

"Well, I… simply don't have time for this. I need to focus on other things. So, I hope you can understand." He bowed from the waist in an apology.

Aizawa was the only one who understood. Midoriya couldn't use his training time on this.

"So… It's Bakugo the vice-president?!" Kaminari asked in a panic.

"YEAH!" Katsuki stomped his desk. At least this was better than nothing.

"Yeah… that's not happening in a million years." Izuku stated with a deadpanned face.

"What the fuck, Deku! Want to die early?!"

"You just prove my point, retard. With that attitude, you're not going anywhere." Izuku didn't have any sort of respect for his former bully, because he understood that if he wanted Katsuki to listen he has to be harsh and direct.

Bakugo sat down, cursing Deku for that. He wasn't going to admit, but Izuku gained a little of his respect from yesterday's confrontation.

With that clarified, Midoriya moved through the class and brought Tenya to the front. "I present to you, president Yaoyorozu and vice-president Iida."

That surprised everyone and surprised Tenya even more. "Midoriya, are you sure?" the speedster asked, sharing an unsure look with the rest of the class.

"Hm, if all of you voted for me, it's because you trust me. So, trust my decision on this, okay? They're going to do a great job." His classmates couldn't help but think how unfair Izuku was, leaving no room for argument.

XOX

Lunchtime.

This time, Izuku had decided to sit with his classmates. In his table was Iida, Uraraka, Kirishima, Ashido, and Yaoyorozu. The rest of the class was on the tables next to them, so everyone could chat with anyone.

"I still cannot believe that you declined such a great position, Midoriya." Said Tenya. Everyone nodded in agreement.

"Don't worry about it. I believe you and Yaoyorozu are more capable than me for this. And… you looked like you really wanted the position." Izuku reassured his decision.

"Yeah, you even have the look with those glasses," Uraraka commented with Eijiro and Mina agreeing, forcing Izuku to hold a laugh.

"I don't believe that's how it works, Uraraka-san," Momo interjected. Sweat dropping at the brunette thought prosses. "Though I would like to know who voted for me…"

"Yeah, I'm curious who was the other person," Mina commented as she took another spoon.

"No, I didn't vote for myself, I also voted for Midoriya," Momo confessed.

"What a coincidence. One of your votes was from me." Izuku took another bite of his food. "If I could make another vote, I would have voted for you. Iida-kun."

"Don't worry about it, but thanks." Tenya adjusted his glasses, smiling at the cat boy.

Yaoyorozu smiled at him too. "Thank you."

"So, that leaves the other vote," Eijiro said.

"I think I know who it was." Izuku caught their attention. "It's the only other person who I think doesn't like me very much, and knows your capabilities as a leader." He stopped to create suspense. "Or am I wrong, Todoroki-kun?"

The bicolored kid, that was sitting diagonal to the cat boy in another table, flinched. He looked at Midoriya's table with soba noodles on his mouth, slurping them. "*Gulp* I just considered her talents as a leader above yours, that's all," Shoto answered in his calm demeanor.

Izuku nodded with a smile. "I guess you and I can agree on that."

"And I would appreciate if you didn't diminish your capabilities, Midoriya." Momo's tone sounded a little mad. "You were the leader in yesterday's exercise, I'd like to remind you."

"And I'm saying that I just don't have time. And you're far more intelligent than me, that's why you're better suited for this." Izuku answered with a stern look.

"Okay! Don't start another discussion, you two." Mina intervened, seeing where they were going.

The pair looked at each other and then sighed.

"*Sigh* Looking at you two, I can't help but feel that I shouldn't be in this position," Tenya said. "Your suitability far surpasses mine."

"You three are so proper!" Uraraka couldn't help but admire her three classmates. "I may be wrong but are you three from an upper-crust family?!

"Upper-crust?!" Iida and Yaoyorozu echoed in shock while Izuku tried to hold back another laugh.

"Ocha-chan is so~ adorable." Izuku thought, loving her innocence.

"I don't like it when it's brought attention to, but if I must talk about such things… Then yes." Tenya confessed a little embarrassed. "I'm from a family of heroes. I'm currently the second son." He received a 'wow' from everyone in the table. "Do you know of turbo hero Ingenium?"

"Of course! He's a super popular hero whose agency has hired over 65 sidekicks. Is he…?" Izuku asked with excitement.

"You're quite knowledgeable… But yes, you're correct! And he's my big brother!" Tenya answered with pride.

"He's unabashed! Wow!" The other pointed out.

"He's a beloved pro hero who prizes the rules and guides people! I aspired to be like him!" Iida declared; then a melancholic look came to his face. "Although, he spends less and less time at home. He's trying his hardest as a hero more than ever. When I asked him why he told me that he couldn't allow himself to be late again. I think something must have happened in his job. He's been like that for the last 10 months." Everyone was in silence, listening to him. "He one day asked me something weird…" His classmates waited for him to continue. "He asked: 'What means to be a true hero?' He told me that my answer was shallow… That's why I believe you're a better man, Midoriya. That's why I believe you should be the class president." Izuku just smiled at him.

"Well, I come from a… prestigious family, but not of heroes." Momo took their attention.

"That's pretty obvious. I mean, 'the Yaoyorozu enterprise'. The number one provider of hero equipment in the country and other materials." Izuku informed.

"You honestly know too much." Momo praised him. "Yes, that's my family. I always had these… high expectations over my shoulders. So, I decided to become a pro hero. That way my family can help many more people in even more ways." Everyone in the table clapped their hands, making her blush.

Izuku took another spoon to his mouth then he noticed all the eyes were on him, waiting for his story. "Um… no, I don't come from an upper-crust family." Momo and Tenya twitched at that while Mina and Eijiro giggled, Uraraka was oblivious to it. Izuku went back to his food.

"Wait, you're only gonna give us that?" Kaminari that was at the table behind Izuku said, promptly receiving a slap on the head from Kyoka for being rude, though she along with the rest of the class was curious about the cat boy.

"Umm… what do you want me to tell you?" Izuku pondered. "That I was Quirkless all my life until just recently?"

"You're joking, right?" Jiro gave him a doubtful look.

"Am I, Bakugo?"

"Quirkless as a pebble in the road, fucking dumbass." The ash-blond answered, taking another spoon of his extra spicy curry.

The shock in everyone's eyes was understandable. "Hahaha, and to think you used to bully me along with everyone in the school before I got my quirk. It gets to show you how stupid and flawed society is right now." Everyone hold their words, some almost said that they wouldn't have treated him like that, but that would be empty words in an attempt to save themselves. "If I'm honest, I wish I could run back the clock and don't get this quirk."

"What?!" Everyone yelled.

"You have such great quirks, why someone wouldn't want it?" Sero asked. From everyone's looks, they all thought the same.

"I don't blame you for thinking that way. But that's a little closeminded for me. Then again, that's society talking." After taking another bite, he looked at them with a smirk. "So, all of you think that a person's worth is in their quirk?"

That question was a slap in the face for everyone. "N-not we..." Momo stuttered, not knowing what to say.

"Then let me ask you a question. Can someone without a quirk become a hero?" Everyone froze. "I'll take that as a no. Don't worry. Even All Might thinks that way too…" There was a long pause that nobody wanted to break as they reflected about it "… Sorry, it was not my intention to make the ambiance so tense. It's just that I simply don't like how society has chosen to look at quirks before the person who has it. That's why my reason to become a hero is… well, apart from saving people from danger, I want to change society and also…." He paused for a moment and then smiled to himself. "I want to save people from themselves like I was saved."

At that moment, Eijiro remembered Midoriya's words. "I don't need One for All." Now he understood something. All these generations, it hasn't been passed anything but a Quirk. Where was the meaning of what a hero is in all of this? He was lamenting having a lame Quirk while Midoriya doesn't even here if he has one or not. Kirishima clenched his fists. "The true successor… is Izuku…"

"You were saved?" Uraraka picked the last part of the cat boy's words.

"It's a sad story, and I don't want to make lunch even worse. Maybe another time, okay?" Izuku smiled apologetically, and Ochaco nodded.

They decided to go back to their lunch when a siren went off. [Security level 3 breached. Students, please promptly evacuate] A robotic voice announced.

Izuku was already on his feet. With a serious face and widened eyes, he looked around, watching the students' faces, seeing their panic. He turned his head to the cafeteria's exit. That was a narrow corridor.

You didn't have to be a genius to figure out what was about to happen.

Before anyone even moved, he was already making his way to the exit. He got there by the time the students made a stampede.

Izuku turned around with his arm wide open. Then they crashed into him. He did his best holding them back until they finally stop.

"What are you doing?! Get out of the way!" A student yelled at him.

"I'll do it… When all of you calm down!" Izuku yelled back, his glare freezing them in place. "All of you were going to get clogged! Some were going to fall and get trampled! Am I seriously looking at U.A. students?! Stop thinking only on your own safety! Besides, just think about it! The entire staff is made out of pro heroes and one of them is freaking All Might! Whoever trespassed the school is an idiot or has a death wish!" Everyone was silent. "Make five lines!" There was a pause. "NOW!" Like soldiers, they followed. "Good. Do not run. The others have your back, if you run, you will be betraying their trust, got it?!" They nodded. "Now, you can evacuate." The cat boy turned around and went ahead of them.

"Where are you going?!" A student asked.

"To see what happened and offer some help to the teachers if they need it." He answered without looking back. He didn't make it far when he saw outside the window. Izuku let out an exasperated sigh as he facepalmed. "It's just the press!" He shouted to the students. "Everyone, go back to your classroom and wait for your teacher!"

The cafeteria was left empty, except for the students of 1A and 1B that were still in their tables due to being to slow to respond and their lack of knowledge about the security levels.

Meanwhile, Eraser head and Present Mic were trying to calm the press, but they weren't listening, they just wanted All Might.

"What the hell are you doing?!" They turned to see a pissed Midoriya.

"We want to talk to All—"

"You just trespassed forbidden property!" Izuku didn't let them talk. For instance, he was being lauder than Hizashi. "You created panic in the students! No, you're not getting anything! And you're not leaving until the police come and take you to prison! Because all of you just committed a crime!" That left them speechless. Present Mic and Eraser Head took it from there now that the press was quiet.

Ignoring them, Izuku went to the destroyed door.

"What happened here?" Looking around he saw the female reporter from the morning, she and her team were outside, packing their stuff. "At least one of them is not an idiot." He jogged to her. "Excuse me?"

"Yes? Oh, it's you." The reporter smiled at him.

"Um, did you see what happened?"

"Oh, a man in a hoody brought the barrier down with a touch of his hand, making it crumble and left. Nobody tried to stop him because he was kinda scary." The reporter confessed.

"No, don't worry about it. I'm actually glad you didn't try to stop him, your safety comes first after all." They smiled at each other. "So, you're leaving?"

"Yeah, we won't get anything about All Might anyway."

"There is a great new just there, though." Izuku pointed over his shoulder to the reporters inside U.A. grounds.

The reporter paused for a moment. "Get the camera! Get the camera!" She shouted to her team; she was so blinded by All Might that she didn't think in the opportunity.

"You can even interview me about it if you want as an exchange for the info you gave me." Izuku offered with his hand up in the air. The reporter smirked malevolently and so did the cat boy.

Izuku returned inside when the police showed up, then crouched, taking a piece of the disintegrated barrier in his hand.

"Aren't you overstepping your boundaries as a student, Midoriya-kun?" Izuku turned his head around to look at Nezu.

"Consider it a club activity to learn how to respond to this kind of situation." The student answered not missing a beat.

"Hahaha… Unfortunately, the club hasn't been established yet. It's taking more time because it directly affects the teaching system. However, the idea is amazing so just give it time to be put to work not only here but in other academies." The principal informed him.

"So, I'm in trouble?"

"I'll overlook it this time, just because you're not doing anything bad." The rodent walked next to him.

"A hooded man did this with only a touch of his hand, or that's what I got. What do you think? Infiltration?"

"The security system would've already noticed." Nezu contemplated the destruction of the barrier. "Maybe a declaration of war?"

"Whit All Might here…?" Nezu noticed the paused of his student. "All Might just started to work here and then this happened."

Nezu's eyes widened. "You think someone is targeting him?"

"He's the reason why crime is so low. You think someone knows about his condition?"

"That's impossible. Only the staff members, Togata-kun, Kirishima-kun and you know about it."

"A spy?"

"I don't like what you're suggesting, Midoriya-kun. I know my employees."

"A student—"

"That's enough. You're overstepping your boundaries again. I would like to prevent discord in my school. Please, leave this matter to me." Even though he pleaded, that was an order.

"Yes… Sorry about that." Izuku shook his head, he was looking too much into it. "Oh, by the way. I wanted to talk about something."

"Hm? Another innovative idea like the club one?" Nezu was down for that.

"Kind of… Don't you think All Might's precious time is being wasted with two classes with the same subject?" Izuku smirked at the interest in the eyes of the rodent.

"Continue…"

"Let's talk in your office over a snack, I'm still a little hungry."

"Just remember I'm not on the menu." Nezu joked.

Izuku snapped his fingers sarcastically. "Not even a little bite?"

"Hahahaha. Not even the tip of my tail." They walked away.

XOX

Aizawa returned to his classroom with Midoriya behind him.

"Let's start the ceremony for the new class president," Momo said with Iida at her side. "But before that. In the end, I believe Midoriya would be someone better for this position. You proved that at lunch."

"Yes. You acted before anyone, and handle the situation perfectly." Iida supported her.

"Yeah, man. You were super manly there." Kirishima voiced his opinion.

"We already discussed this. That's not happening." Izuku dismissed them with a deadpanned face.

"Come on, men. What you did was amazing." Denki complained.

"Yeah. How did you even know what a level 3 was." Jiro for once agreed with the blond.

Izuku searched through his backpack until he got what he was looking for. "The security system is in the students manual." He showed them the book that was given to everyone on the first day.

The room went silent as some classmates looked away and others began to sweat profusely. None of the had read it, but who could fault them, nobody in the world read it unless it was obligatory.

"Also the corridor was narrow and panic could be seen in everybody's faces. Anyone could've figured out what was about to happen." He tried to make it less impressive but just made everyone feel dumber.

The classroom stood quiet for a while.

XOX

The English class just finished. One more class and they could go home.

"Hey." Mina shout-whispered getting the attention of the classmates around her.

"What is it?" Kirishima responded with the same quiet voice.

"And why are we whispering?" Denki joined.

"I brought something that I wanted to use on Midori for a while," Ashido smirked evilly.

"A prank?" Ojiro asked, not very fond of the idea.

"It's not that bad. It's only something I wanted to try." The pink girl clarified.

"You guys are just asking for trouble." Jiro joined them, having heard them with her sensitive ears. Izuku didn't seem to catch it though.

"I agree with Jiro on this, ribbit." Tsuyu said with her index finger on her cheek.

"Come on, aren't you curious to see what'd happen when I use THIS?" Mina pulled out a laser pointer. Everyone gulped. That defiantly piqued their curiosity. "Look at him." They did. "So collected and serious, so responsible. Disgusting." She joked.

"Okay, I'm down for this," Kaminari said while Eijiro nodded. Kyoka and Tsuyu stood silent with the others.

"Okay, one last class." Izuku stretched. When he looked at his desk, he found a red dot on it. "…A laser…" He looked around founding Mina on her feet doing her best to direct the laser at his desk. He looked back at the dot. "I know what Neko said. But, come on, I'm more intelligent than a cat. I can't fall for something like thi—" *SLAM* His right hand had moved on its own. Everyone looked at him in surprise, like if he just grew a second head.

Mina's group convulsed as they tried to hold their laugh with their hands. Izuku looked at them with a flushed face and a pout, breaking their resolve and making them laugh out loud.

"Hehe… okay, okay. Let's do it again." Mina said, turning on the laser again. Now everyone in the classroom was aware of what was happening.

"Cut it out, guys. I'm not falling for the same trick… *Slam*" His face went red again. "That doesn't prove anything. *Slam*…"

Ashido pointed at the floor and in less than a second, Midoriya pounded the dot, he wasn't responding anymore.

Many laughed and others thought about how cute he was. He was an overgrown cat now.

The cat boy followed the dot through the classroom as everyone made room for him. He chased it to the walls and even jumped easily to touch the ceiling.

"Hahahaha!" Mina couldn't hold it anymore, bracing herself by how much her sides hurt. Unfortunately, she didn't notice that in her laughter, the laser ended up pointing at her face.

Izuku's head turned immediately in her direction, his eyes focused on the red dot.

"Ashido! The laser!" Momo was the first one to notice.

"Eh?" The pink girl opened her eyes to find Midoriya already a few inches away from her in the air.

Unnoticed by everyone, Izuku's eyes grew wide in realization.

*CRASH*

Many chairs and desks were hit and thrashed around by the impact. The students opened their eyes slowly to be surprised finding Mina on top of Izuku while he held her in an embrace.

"Are you okay, Ashido?" He let her go.

They sat up. "I'm sorry, Midoriya! It wasn't my intention to…" Mina apologized but her worried expression calmed down seeing his smile, the same smile he gave her that time with that giant, making her trail off.

"Don't worry. I've received worse hits." He wasn't joking, Death Arms and Mirio punched worse than that. "Let's not do it on the inside next time, okay?"

Ashido let out a sigh in relief, seeing he wasn't mad at her.

"Izuku, the back of your head is…" Mineta trailed off with a worried face shared by everyone who could see it.

Midoriya touched the back of his head with his left hand and then looked at it. The hand was covered by a red liquid. He must have hit the edge of a desk or something similar.

Mina gasped in horror as tears formed in her eyes. "I'm so sorry, I didn't want to—" She cut herself up when she saw the emotionless face of Izuku looking back at her.

She shut her eyes when Midoriya moved his right hand to her face. She understood if he was mad at her, and if he wanted to do something to her, she wouldn't put resistance.

However, her eyes were shot open when she felt her head being pushed down. Izuku was examining the back of her head. "*Sigh* Thank God, you're not bleeding too."

Mina looked at him in utter shock. She wanted to say something, but her words died looking at his smile.

"Okay, I'm going to the infirmary," Izuku informed his classmate as he stood up.

"Let me go with you." Kirishima was the first to step up. That didn't mean he was the only one.

"Guys, I'm okay. I think I can get to the infirmary on my own. Besides, the next class should start any second now." He reassured them.

"Are you sure?" Momo asked with a worried face.

"Yeah. Thanks anyway." Izuku walked away.

A meter away from the door, the cat boy collapsed on the floor.

"MIDORIYA!" Everyone ran to him.

XOX

"Hng…" Izuku opened his eyes, finding himself in the infirmary bed.

The first thing his eyes found was… an angry Recovery girl. "Why?! Your class doesn't even have heroics today! Why are you injured?!"

"I was playing a game with someone and went wrong… Sorry."

"But why are you the only one? Not even the red sweetie gets like this, and we both know with what he's dealing with!" Midoriya couldn't deny her claims.

"I'm sorry… I'll go back to class and—"

"Oh no, young man, you're not going anywhere unless I said otherwise." Chiyo pinched his leg with her syringe cane. "I might have healed you, but you had a concussion, I'm not taking any risks." Izuku nodded while he touched the bandages on his head. The retired heroine walked to the door. "I have something to attend, you can't move no matter what, understood?" Another nod from the cat boy. "And don't make the sweetheart wait for too long." She left.

"Hah?" It wasn't until the old lady mentioned it that he noticed the other person in the room on the other side of his bed. "Ashido?"

"H-hey…" His classmate was looking at everything but him.

"Are you oka—/I'm sorry—" They spoke at the same time.

"You can go first," Izuku said, smiling at her.

"I… I don't know what to do for you to forgive me. I don't want you to be mad at me." Simply by looking at her face, Izuku could notice how much she regretted what she did.

"But I'm not mad at you, but if it matters so much. I forgive you."

"How?!" Mina raised her voice. "How can you not be mad?! How can you forgive so easily?!"

"You're acting like if you tried to kill me." Izuku chuckled.

"I could very well have! That's the problem!" She was panicking.

"But it wasn't your intention. It's was a mistake and mistakes happened." Izuku placed a hand on her shoulder. "If I was to get mad for every mistake people make, I'll probably be a villain right now, and that's not the life I want to live." A grin spread on his face. "It's like with Bakugo. I could live resenting him for what he did to me all these years, but holding a grudge is not healthy and I couldn't focus on my objective. That's why I'm willing to forgive him as long as he shows me he can be better. To be honest, I hope that one day I can call him 'Kacchan' again." He scratched his cheek while he said the last thing in embarrassment. "Ah! But don't tell him I said that he'll you get 'Ah! Fucking Deku this, fucking Deku that. Don't be a fagot!' or something like that."

"Pff-hehehe~" She laughed at his impersonation of Katsuki. Making Midoriya grin wider. "Okay, you convince me. But… I want to do something for you to compensate anyway."

"No, don't worry. I don't need anything like that." He got a very cute and angry pout from the pink girl. "*Sigh* Okay…" "Cute girls are my weakness…"

"Yay! Now, what do you want me to do?" She swung her fists up and down in excitement.

"Hmm…" Izuku thought about it, hard. "Maybe… No, I don't think—"

"What? Tell me."

"No, well… I like to train, but I haven't come up with a good way to train my reflexes, but I don't think you can help me with that."

"But you got great reflexes already." She said a little surprised.

"Well, yeah. But most of those are part of my instincts, and we saw today what happened if I let them take control."

"Ho… They are a little bit dangerous." She pondered.

"You have no idea…" He thought deeply about it. "I should prepare to prevent the worst…"

"Then how about dance?" She asked. "I don't know, I always felt like I got better with my reflexes with it."

"Dance? Now that I think about it… you have to pay attention to your partner or the music and be reactive to many things…" He sank into his thoughts.

"Have you dance before?" She tilted her head with a grin.

"I can dance break," Izuku stated.

"You can breakdance?!" She raised her voice, forgetting for a moment what personal space was.

"No, you didn't get it. What I said it's that I'm so bad at dancing that I'll probably break my bones in the process…" He looked down in shame.

"Pff-Hahahahaha! You're such a dork. Oh my God." Mina swiped the tears on her eyes from laughing so much. "Then I can teach you."

"Really?"

"Yeah, how about this weekend? At Musutafu train station?" She proposed and Izuku nodded. "But… hmm…" She looked conflicted.

"What is it?"

"I feel like teaching you how to dance it's not enough. I enjoy doing that so it's not really a problem… Ask for something else!" Mina demanded.

"No, it okay, I—" The pout was back. "All right…" While he thought what to say, he took a look at Ashido. "Can… Can I touch them?"

"Of course, you—… Eh?" Her mind raced trying to understand the question. "EH?!" She screamed as a blush covered her face at the same time, she covered her chest. "W-W-why are asking a girl that?!"

"Uh, I just thought you were the only one I could do it with…"

"How can he not be a little embarrassed saying that?!" She thought. "Did I misjudge him? Is he actually a pervert?" She was debating with herself.

"You don't have to do it if you don't want, let's just leave it like this, okay?"

"Don't say that! It's like you're guilt-tripping me to do it!" The worst part was that it was working. "B-but I guess he's still a man…and he's not bad looking… he'll probably be gentle too. Ah! Why am I thinking about this?!" Her head was in chaos.

"You should probably go back to class before—"

"Very well… let's do it." She interrupted him.

"Eh? Are you sure?" Mina nodded. Her face completely flushed. "Then… here I go."

Seeing his hand approached, she closed her eyes and pushed her chest forward to make it easier for him. Then… "Kya—!" She covered her mouth, preventing any other squeal.

"Ah! I'm sorry! I didn't know they were sensible!" Izuku immediately apologized.

"Y-you… touched my… horns…" Mina said little by little as she realized what his objective was.

"Yeah, sorry. They caught my attention because they look cute, so I wanted to touch them." He said.

"I-I thought you were talking about my…" She trailed off.

"About what?" The cat boy tilted his head in confusion.

If her face wasn't red enough then no it was. "Nothing! Forget about it! That's done, you touch them. I'm going back to class." She stood up and went to the door without looking back. "Get well." With that she closed the door behind her, leaving a quiet Izuku.

"… … She hates me!" Midoriya concluded. "I shouldn't have asked to touch her horns!" Neko, who's been silent al this time, let out an exasperated sigh. Though even she had to admit that girls were complicated some times.

Meanwhile, Mina was still behind the door with a tomato face, as her mind race through what happened. "How could I have doubted him?! Why did my mind go there in the first place?! I should've known he was such a pure boy! … … … Wait… doesn't that mean that… …I'M THE PERVERT?!"

Izuku laid down on his bed. Looking at the ceiling.

"Is she gone?" Nana's head popped up from the wall above him, making his body twitch a little in surprise.

"Yeah." The ghost woman floated to end up sitting on top of him. She didn't weight anything, as expected. And if it wasn't for her serious face, Izuku would've gone red for having a beautiful woman on top of him… ghost or not.

"I saw what you did, Izuku."

"Is… is there a problem, Nana?" Izuku asked what her vibes were telling him.

"Yes. You're disregarding your safety. You didn't accept help when need it and you ended up collapsing." She said. "There's a thin line between bravery and stupidity. You seem to understand the fragility of a human's life yet you disregard your own as if you weren't a human. Why?"

Izuku looked surprised at first but calmed down quickly. "I'm not going to let myself get killed. But you're right on one thing, I unconsciously can't see myself as human, maybe that's why I act how I act…" His eyes became serious. "I see… everyone else as weaker than me. That's why I tried to keep them safe at the cost of myself."

Nana crossed her arms as she frowned with her eyes close, thinking about what he said. "That's very prepotent of you, but I guess this runs deeper than at a psychological level… Feline pride combined with your strong sense of justice makes you feel superior…" Nana wondered out loud. "I guess there's no other way around." She nodded to herself, piquing his curiosity. "I'll be around you as much as I can and tried to correct that behavior."

"So, you're going to train me as if I was your pet?" He asked.

"Good analogy. You pick it up fast!" She smiled at him.

"Well, it's not the first time someone tried to do it." He told her.

"Oh? And who's that person?"

"Well…"

"Ahng! Why does Izuku hasn't come to me so I can pamper him?!" Nemuri Kayama complained as she stretched in her desk. "Even though, we could see each other every day now that he's studying here." She didn't have any other class today, so she was preparing the ones for tomorrow.

"He's a teenager, I think spending time with you would be too stimulating for him." Snipe commented.

"It'll be too stimulating for me." She said.

"What?"

"What?"

Classes were over by the time Izuku was allowed to leave the infirmary.

The cat boy opened a classroom door.

"Uh? Midoriya, what are you doing here?" The first one to noticed him was the ginger head, Itsuka. "Wait. Are you okay? What's with the bandages on your head?"

"Oh. Don't worry about it. Thank you for worrying anyway." After he smiled, he looked around the 1B class. "It's Shiozaki still here?"

The vine haired girl stood up from her chair. "Yes… Did you need me for something, Midoriya?" Ibara tilted her head in curiosity.

"Yeah… well, it's kind of a weird request. Could you follow me? It won't take long… I hope." Suddenly, a blush appeared on his cheeks, gaining weird looks from the students of 1B. Unknown to them, it was because certain spirit decided to lean on him from behind, putting her breasts on top of his head. "Why can I feel her and the weight on top of my head? Isn't she supposed to be intangible?"

"I don't really know too much of this," Neko answered.

"Foolish of you to think I can't interact with the world. I can actually move stuff around if I want, you know, like that poltergeist thing." Nana answered while she looked with interest the rest of the class.

"Wait, did she read my mind?"

"Yes, another useful ability of my unalive state. Well, as long as I'm making contact with you." While Nana looked at every student, her eyes met blue ones, as a gray-haired girl looked directly at her. "How interesting…"

"Can she hear me?" The feline asked.

"Yes, you're Neko, right? God, what's with the redundant name." Nana answered.

"Oh my God! I can finally have a girl's talk!" the cat exclaimed with excitement.

"Oh yes!" the heroic spirit returned the sentiment in kind. Far too many years without contact with another girl could make struggles in the mind of a spirit.

"I'm going to stop you two right there." Good thing he did, because Ibara finally came after packing everything.

"Shall we go?" The female student asked, receiving a nod.

When they disappeared to God knows where, the class returned to normal, as some prepared to go home.

"That's unfair…" Kendo, the representative of the class, looked at her vice representative. "Why does Ibara-chan get to recharge and not me?" Setsuna was sulking.

Kendo remembered those 'Izuku energy points' the green-haired girl mentioned yesterday. "Como on, Setsuna, you're acting like a little kid." Kendo reprimanded her like the big sister she was.

"You're saying that, but I bet you want to pet him again," Tokage smirked at her.

"I-I'm not!" Itsuka went a little red on the cheeks.

"I want to pet Midoriya again." They turned around to looked at Juzo who just thought out loud.

"Yeah, that gave such a comfy feeling." Tetsutetsu nodded in agreement. The duo was plastered on their chairs looking at the ceiling in boredom.

"See, everyone is open about it. You're just a closet pervert." Setsuna accused her representative.

"S-Shut up! And there's nothing perverted about petting someone!" Kendo pointed at her.

"So, you were thinking about it." Kendo's face went redder. The vice representative just giggled, she loved seeing the usual composed Itsuka all flustered.

The ginger let out a sigh, she could sympathize with the cat boy, feeling sorry for him with all the teasing.

Kendo noticed a classmate that was still looking at the door where the cat boy was before leaving. "Reiko?" She called her name; it was like if the girl was in a trance. "Something wrong?"

The silver-haired girl turned to look at her friend, her stoic face never broke. "Everything is fine. I just felt something peculiar surrounding Midoriya-san's presence, like a sui generis aura. I can't quite put my finger on it."

Itsuka tilted her head, it was hard to understand the unique girl's words half of the time.

Setsuna on the other hand looked worried. "W-what is this? Is this perhaps… the awakening of my second rival?!" She was being very dramatic.

"Sorry, but I can't comprehend what you are talking about, Setsuna-san." Yanagi tilted her head. "Will you be willing to explain to me this rivalry you just alluded to?"

"Ah… No, don't worry about it, Reiko-chan. I was just trying to tease you." Tokage gave up on her futile attempt to bring some emotions of the stoic girl to the surface. "I guess something like that wouldn't work on a kuudere." She murmured that.

Kendo shook her head with a smile on her face. The antics of the green-haired girl were… tiresome. "Second rival? Then who is the first?" The ginger spoke to herself.

"You, Itsuka. Duh." Setsuna responded. "Don't think I don't see you looking at him. Waiting to put your hand all over his head." She squinted her eyes at her.

Kendo was not impressed, returning a derogatory face. "Then by that logic, Honenuki-kun and Tetsutetsu are your rivals as well."

"*Dramatic Gasp* You're right! I didn't think about them because they were boys. How foolish of me." Her head turned to the two boys. "Oi! I won't give him that easily! This is war!" She marched to confront her rivals. Setsuna was truly the soul of 1B, she always kept it interesting.

Kendo took a moment and contemplated her palm.

"Having dirty thoughts about a certain cat boy, I see." A voice interrupted her.

"Monoma!" She yelled, reading her hand to karate chopped the shit out of the blond for such comment.

"He-hey, Kendo, please wait, i-it was just a joke." The ginger took a step closer. "Wait, stop. I'm joking, I'm joking, stop. Please stop!" He screamed as the color left his face.

Somebody ended up dragging Neito's body out of the classroom.

After making the request to Ibara, Izuku went back to his classroom to pick his stuff.

He never expected to find the entire 1A class still there… except for Bakugo and Todoroki of course.

"Midoriya!" Kirishima was the first one to greet him. Soon enough, everyone gathered around the green-haired boy.

"Hey, guy. What are all of you still doing here? The bell rang long ago." Izuku inquired.

"Waiting for you, duh," Jiro answered like if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Yeah, we were really worried about you, man," Hanta confirmed.

That brought a smile to his face. "Thank you, guys. I'm fine now."

"Then let's go together!" Toru said enthusiastically.

"Ah, sorry guys, but Mineta-kun and I have stuff to do," Izuku informed as he picked his backpack. "Maybe next time? Let's go, Mineta."

"But dude, the girls!" The midget complained, gesturing to his classmates.

"What are your priorities?" The cat boy questioned.

"Ugh… All right, I get it. Let's go." The little guy picked his stuff too and left the class with Izuku.

"What are they doing?" Tsuyu asked around, maybe someone knew.

"Midoriya is going to train Mineta so he can become a 'super-cool hero' or something," Kyoka answered and noticed the questioning looks on the others, asking how did she know that. "My hearing is sensitive, okay?" She answered a little flustered, crossing her arms.

"Such exemplar classmate!" Tenya exclaimed while adjusting his glasses.

"Maybe we should go and train with him too," Hanta said to Rikido. Others looked fond of the idea.

"Em, guys." Kirishima took their attention. "Because we're classmates I'll tell you… Midoriya's training will make you puke if you're not ready." His face showed how serious he was.

Kirishima, though he could take Izuku's harsh training, decided against it. He would train on his own, he could not always depend of his brother to be better. He'd find a way to have better control of OFA so one day he could smile and tell Izuku that his decision of placing One for All on his shoulders was not wrong.

Everyone looked at themselves. After witnessing his battle training yesterday, they could totally believe that.

"On second thought, my favorite anime starts in an hour." Hanta was the first to prepared his belongings to leave.

"Ah, I need to make a cake." Sato was the next.

One by one everyone made an excuse to not join the cat boy's training. They'll judge it tomorrow after looking at Mineta.

Outside in the P.E. grounds

"Bluerg!" Mineta threw up in a trash can. "Ugh… I don't know who clean these things, but I'm sorry."

"Here." Izuku gave him a beverage.

"Thanks, and… I CAN'T DO THIS!" The little guy yelled with tears on his eyes. "I'm seriously going to die!"

"Uh? But it's only been an hour."

"That's the point! I feel like collapsing at any moment and it's only been an hour!" Minoru sat on the floor, refusing to take another step.

"You're not used to be pushed to your limits, give it time." Izuku tried to comfort him as he sat next to him.

"But you don't even look remotely tired!" Mineta reproached.

"Because we're working at your limits, mine will really kill you, hehehe." He chuckled as if it was something funny.

It irritated the midget a little. "*Sigh* Look, I appreciate what you're doing, but I don't think I'm capable to keep this up." He confessed, not looking at the cat boy in the face.

"… I see."

"Huh?! You're only going to give me that? You're not going to talk about my dream and all that stuff?!" The little boy was surprised.

"Well, I can't force you. With this I have already shown you the price of your dream, the rest it's up to you." Midoriya took a sip from his beverage. "It's a shame though because I wouldn't have pushed you this far if I didn't think you could handle it. You would've been an awesome hero."

"Ha? You think I can handle this? Yeah right. Quit that, I already know the drill."

"What are you talking about?" Izuku looked confused.

"Come on, I already know I have a weak ass Quirk. Everyone in middle school said it when they thought I wasn't around. They said I'll never be a hero with it, so I applied to U.A. as a middle finger for them."

"And you made it in." That stopped his rambling. "To the hero course nonetheless. Where are those people now?" Mineta's silence was enough of an answer. "See, they were wrong, not only about you but about your Quirk as well. You can climb walls with it, propel yourself, stop enemies' movements, and save people in the right situation, and who knows what else you could also do. Sorry but I fail to see how it's weak."

Mineta was amazed by how much Midoriya got with the basic information of his Quirk.

"Listen, Mineta. It's not about the Quirk but how you use it. And maybe nobody believed in you, not even yourself, So I'll be the first one." Midoriya beamed at him. "You can be a great hero, just like anyone." He palmed the back of the purple boy, softly. Then got up. "Anyway, I'll keep training. See you in class tomorrow." Izuku jogged away, leaving the midget with his thoughts.

After a few seconds, Minoru reacted. "Ahg, shit! I can't just give up after that, you asshole!" He ran after Izuku. "Hey! Wait for me!"

XOX

An hour later Mineta was sent home. Izuku wasn't as cruel as to make him hate the training. This last hour he just gave him tips and advices on how to use his quirk or take advantage of his height in a fight.

With that done, now the problem was that Midoriya didn't get enough training. "Hm… I wonder if senpai is free." He took out his phone and send a message. After getting a response, his face lit up.

Fifteen minutes later, two figures approached him. He greeted them with a smile.

"Thanks for coming, Togata-senpai."

"Hahaha. No problem, Midoriya." Mirio responded.

"Nice to see you, Amajiki-senpai. Are you going to spar with me too?" Izuku was fidgeting on the spot. He hasn't been able to have a single match with the indigo haired teen. He has only heard of his quirk so Izuku is very excited to see it in action.

"Ah, em… S-sorry, Midoriya. I just came to watch." Tamaki answered. "A-Also, y-you're too close." He covered his face, wrapping it with his arms, trying to escape the penetrating and expecting gaze of his energetic kohai.

"Ah, I see." Midoriya didn't mind, and he already knew about Tamaki's chicken heart, but at least he didn't run away like the first time they were introduced to one another. "I wanted to see your Quirk in action, though."

"M-maybe next time." Amajiki was glad Izuku dropped it.

"Hahaha, You're like Hado." Mirio pointed out.

"Hado?" It was the first time he heard the name, maybe a classmate of theirs.

"A friend of ours who's also getting super strong too. She is very curious when it comes to other people. She also gets Tamaki all flustered just like you." From that description, it sounded like an interesting person. "Oh, I know. Come and have lunch with us tomorrow, we can introduce you to Hado."

"I'd love that," Izuku responded with a smile.

"Neat. Also, nice job on stopping the commotion during lunch." Mirio gave him a thumbs up. "We were in our internship, so we couldn't help."

"Thank you, Togata-senpai."

"But anyway, let's begin, shall we?" With a nod, they moved to the covered court so nobody would see Mirio butt naked.

XOX

Now inside, in their PE uniform, the two of them were stretching.

"Okay, I'm ready." Izuku let them know.

"Tamaki." Mirio gave the signal to his friend.

"Then, this is the match N. 27. As it stands now Miro has 27 wins over Midoriya… Start." He chopped the air with his hand.

Izuku was already in front of Mirio, trying to get him by surprise, throwing a jab to his face.

Togata didn't move as the fist went through his head and at the same time he threw a counter to Izuku's left side.

The cat boy managed to catch it, however as he tried to get a hold of the fist, his fingers went through it, making it futile.

Knowing it would happen, Izuku immediately swung a kick against Togata's thorax with all the strength he could muster.

The kick continued pushing through the thorax, getting to the other side, taking the top of the PE uniform with it, leaving Mirio shirtless. Yet, Izuku didn't stop to look and decided to jump away from his senpai before any retaliation was done.

After that, Midoriya turned around, but he only found PE pants on the floor, yet not Togata-senpai to be seen.

Knowing too well what was coming next, with dread in his body he threw a kick as he turned around.

His kick went through the head of a naked Mirio Togata who was already throwing a punch, which connected against Izuku's right side.

"Ghk!" Pulling through the pain, Izuku endured it. He still had his foot inside his senpai's head, so, while managing to not move it, Midoriya kicked with his other leg, aiming for payback against his opponent's left side.

For the first time in his 27 matches, his hit connected, throwing Mirio a few meters through the court as he fell on the floor while grabbing his side to subside his pain.

Meanwhile, Tamaki had his eyes wide open. It was the first time he saw someone actually hitting Mirio after his training with Sir Nighteye.

The blond 3rd year managed to get up while holding his side. "Hehehe. You're amazing, Midoriya. You managed to figure it out." One of Izuku's rules for these matches was that Togata wasn't allowed to tell him what his Quirk was about, which meant that Izuku has been fighting him with only his own conjectures.

"Hehe-agh! Well, it was about damn time." Izuku smirked. Every time adrenaline pumped through his body, he became bolder, maybe it was the bad influence of Katsuki throughout these years, but at least he wasn't going to curse out of the blue.

"Damn it…" Mirio thought as he looked at his legs. They were trembling and the pain in his side was unbearable. Izuku most likely fractured his ribs, and with only one kick. "I guess that's the advantage he has over me. His overwhelming power is too much for anyone." He managed to suppress it and put his trademark smile back on his face. "Okay, let's continue."

"Nope, we're going to recovery girl, senpai." Izuku dropped his stance and walked to him.

"…So, you noticed."

"No really, I just assumed I went overboard. But thanks for being sincere." Tamaki came shortly after with a worried face. "Sorry, but it's kinda hard to hold back when your hits are not guaranteed." Izuku decided to carry his sempai on his arms bridal style.

Mirio covered his mouth like a real princess being rescued. Tamaki let out a chuckle while looking away.

Izuku knew his senpai was just playing, but there was a fundamental problem. "Sempai, please. If a girl sees us, they'll get the wrong idea."

"Hahaha, sorry, it's just that there's not a lot of people who can carry me so easily," Mirio answered. "And don't worry, there isn't any girl around."

"Not that you can see." Izuku thought to himself as he heard heavy breathing inside his head. And when he turned his head around, he could spot Nana looking at them with eyes wide open and her face red as a tomato. "Let's go."

"Um, Mirio should probably get dressed first," Tamaki spoke.

Mirio and Izuku looked at the naked and muscular body as if they just realized. "You're right." They said in unison. Mirio was so used to being naked around Izuku that he didn't notice and Izuku was the same, he was used to being around a naked Mirio.

He put his senpai down.

Now he had three questions. One, can you go deaf by the scream of someone inside your head? Two, how can a spirit have a nose bleed? And three…

"So, who won this one?" Tamaki voiced it out.

Izuku and Mirio looked at each other. "A tie?" The cat boy asked.

"I can live with that." Togata smiled, finishing dressing up.

"Yes!" Izuku clenched his fist. It may not be a win but it was his biggest progress and he was happy with it. The two upper classmates chuckled.

XOX

Izuku was now on his way home. He decided to enjoy a nice walk in contrast to this hectic morning.

The green-haired boy had checked on the support course looking for Mei, but apparently, she had gone home already, which was a pleasant surprise, it meant he didn't need to be over her constantly.

Poor Izuku didn't know she just went home to get some materials and would come back to continue her craft to finish some of his requests.

Anyway, on his way, something caught his attention.

"Damn this is hard when we're both the same size." Mt. Lady though. She was fighting a villain with gigantification as well, only that he looked like a gorilla that called himself Kong King, villains these days don't have originality.

"Come on, Mt. Lady, you can do it!" The crowd cheered. The male portion of it had positioned themselves at her back, no doubt to have a better look at her assets while she fights. "Mt. Lady looked over here!" One of the people with cameras shouted, trying to get a nice shot.

"Fuck off! I need to concentrate, idiots." She was getting annoyed. She liked the attention and the fame, but in situations like this, she would rather that they left her alone.

"DO YOUR BEST, YU!" Her head snapped in another direction when she heard that, recognizing the voice easily.

Her eyes immediately spotted Izuku in the crowd. No matter how many people were there, his bright smile was like a beacon.

"You think you can look away?" The villain taunted as he threw a punch at her head.

Yu's head snapped back, her eyes not even registered what was happening, yet her head cocked to the side avoiding the punch as her own moved swiftly, finding it mark on the stomach of the villain.

The impact lifted the villain a few meters in the air. And before he could touch the ground, Mt. Lady was already behind him. She grabbed him by the waist. "Titan…" and the bend backward performing perfectly a German suplex. "Valley!"

The impact put all the crowd in the air as the street got wrecked. Well, not for noting she was known as the collateral damage hero but… "Jesus Crist!" Izuku screamed out loud. That was a little excessive. He wouldn't be surprised is she really made a valley out of the street.

"That was an outstanding performance. And that last move, though a little reckless, was absolutely impressive. Do you have more moves like that?" A reporter asked the pro heroine.

"It was just a suplex. I made it in the spot." She answered; however, she wasn't looking at the camera for the entire time. Her eyes always somewhere else.

I-I see…" The reporter was disconcerted. It was the first time Mt. Lady wasn't showing off or something like that. "What can you tell us about this fight then?"

"Yeah… can we leave this for another day?" She asked, still not looking at them.

"W-why?"

"I have something more important." Yu walked away, not leaving any room for discussion.

"Ah, Mt. Lady! Please pose for the camera!" Her fans prepared to take good shots for their collection.

"I don't have time, bye." She didn't even bat an eye to them. Her fans were dumbfounded.

As Yu got closer and closer to her objective, her legs began to move faster and faster until she was finally running.

"Hey, wait, wait, wait!" Izuku was tackled into a hug. "Yu…" He tried to complain but his embarrassment didn't let him.

"Hah~ It's been so long…" She said, happy to feel that distinctive warm surging through her body. "Why haven't you come?! I've been cooking by myself all this time, and I'm not that good at it! Weren't you supposed to be like my house husband?!"

"Okay! I get it! I'll cook something while you laze around, but please… Everyone is watching." Izuku told her with a red face.

Yu looked behind her, finding all the cameras pointing at them. A frown appeared on her face; they were ruining the moment. "Hey! Take those away or I'll make more collateral damage." It might have sound rude and it was not proper of a hero, but she was in her right for privacy. Fortunately, even in their shock, the people put their cameras away. "Let's go." She pulled him by the hand.

"What about the damage?" Midoriya tried to protest.

"Just another day in my agency, leave it to them."

XOX

After changing to her civilian clothes in her agency and call it a day, they were heading now to Yu's apartment.

"Just to let you know, I won't stay long. I stay at a friend's house yesterday and was let for school today." Izuku told her.

"A friend's house… Was it a girl?" She asked after pondering for a little, startling the cat boy.

"H-how did you know?"

"Woman's intuition." Was her answer. "Was she pretty?" She had a teasing tone and didn't look mad or anything, which unsettled Izuku.

"Why the question?"

"Hm," Yu shrugged. "Just scanning the battlefield." She wasn't that interested because her current fight was with another pro hero.

"Well… I have yet to meet a girl who isn't, to be honest." He decided to not stress himself with all of this. And being honest was probably the best option when dealing with what he couldn't understand.

Though a little worrisome, Yu Takeyama decided to take that as a compliment and drop the matter and cut him some slack. "Hng~" She groaned while she stretched.

"Tired?" Izuku asked.

The woman smiled inwardly for getting what she wanted. "My feet are killing me. Can you do something about it?" She smirked at him.

The green-haired boy stared at her for a few seconds. "Let me call a taxi."

Yu growled in exasperation. "I want you to carry me, you dense brick!" She yelled while poking his forehead with her index finger, hopping the message got through his skull. She wanted to be piggyback so she could use her womanly charms (breasts) on his back and see him become red as a tomato.

"I'll give you a piece of advice. We men can't read minds, so please be clear."

She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that was made clear a few seconds ago. Kya!" She didn't expect to be carried bridal-style, spoiling her plans in a swift move. He continued walking as if nothing happened. "I'm not heavy, am I?"

"I'm okay, but you should eat less hamburgers," Izuku said without skipping a beat.

"I'll hit you." She clenched her fist.

"I would like to eat a hamburger right now." He avoided her gaze.

A light popped up inside her head. She looked around, not seeing many people, and the few weren't looking at them, it was now or never.

Yu took his chin and leaned forward.

Izuku's eyes went wide open when he felt the soft sensation on his lips.

"I ate a burger not too long ago. Were you able to taste it?" She smirked, licking her lips. His mouth was open but no words came out of it. His face? Redder than a tomato. Mission success. She won. "Oh wait. Did I just commit a crime? What are you going to do mister hero? Are you going to hand me over to the police?" Yu faked worry, but her amused smile betrayed her. She never saw it coming though. "Hmp!"

He had kissed her back. "Sorry I didn't taste it the first time." His tail covered his mouth. Shit, it happened again, his instincts controlled his actions from overstimulation. Isn't this getting a little out of hand? She didn't hate him for what he did, did her?

Yu's brain still hadn't registered what just happened.

"And It looks like we're partners in crime." With that last line, her head puffed in crimson as he looked away. She looked at his ears. They weren't red, it was impossible for them to be, but they were twitching uncontrollably, probably the equivalent reaction. She didn't win, this was a double K.O.

Yu touched her head with the back of her palm to make sure she didn't have a fever. "Geez… my head is spinning." She said.

"You're not drunk, are you…? I didn't taste… alcohol..." Izuku went even redder from his own statement.

The pro heroine smiled sweetly. "I guess I am… I'm drunk on you." After a few seconds, she covered her face. "AAAAAAHHHH! Why did I say that?! That was so cringy! I want to die. I want to die. Iwanttodie!"

"Pff—" Izuku held back a laugh.

"AAAAAHHHH! Stop! Don't laugh! Put me down! Put me down! Put me down!" Yu begged him. Hitting his chest with no strength to back them up.

"Sorry, no can do. You may trip or something- Hahahaha!"

"Please kill me…" She covered her face again, refusing to meet his gaze.

"You're soooo~ adorable right now." Midoriya continued his teasing.

"Ah! Shut up! Somebody save me! He's kidnaping me!" She tried another way to get away from this situation. Being with him right now was a torment.

"I guess I am." He gave her a cheeky grin. "I'm taking advantage because you're drunk right now. But then again, I'm the only one who can do it, right?" His grin grew wider.

"Waaaahaaaaa!" Yu began to tug his collar back and forth as she cried uncontrollably. He just kept pouring salt in the wound. This was payback for everything she had done to him.

The worst part was when people approached them, asking if she was okay, for Izuku to answer with 'she's drunk', making her wail, even more, prompting the people to believe his stamen.

What was heaven for Yu when she saw him, was now a cringy and insufferable hell.

A/N: You know… I still think I went overboard with the kiss. Maybe I should have to change it. Anyway, let me know what are your thoughts on the chapter. I'm gonna regret something later, probably, but whatever.

Oh boy, USJ comes next, big things are going to happen.

Welp… Read you later.
