Sorry! This was supposed to be up for Christmas, but I guess late is better than never! So, let's see how Tara enjoyed a little Christmas moment - a specialty drink at the coffee shop! Isn't that such a great part of the holidays - all the special treats? Comment your favourites after reading. It only takes half a minute to leave a comment. You don't even need to have an account (though if you do I'll try to respond!). Comments encourage me to keep writing and let me know what you dislike and like. Anyway, I'm done with this long author's note, so let's catch up with Tara!

"Yes! It's finally here!" Tara exclaimed in glee as she looked at the chalkboard menu at her favourite cafe.

"What is?"

"Augh!" Tara screamed at the unexpected voice next to her ear, giving the other patrons of the small establishment reason to glare or stare at her according to their personal preferences. She spun and leveled her own best enraged glare at a cheeky Bobby Manning.

"You bad boy!" She wagged a finger at him, scolding. "You'd better behave or Santa won't be bringing any presents for you!"

"What were you so excited for?" Bobby asked, unconcerned as to her censure. Tara decided to ignore it and move on. She was unlikely to get an apology anyway. She pointed to the menu.

"Their super-special cinnamon and honey hot cocoa is back again this year!"

"Sounds weird," Bobby commented blithely. Tara made a face at him.

"This from the man who microwaves ice cream sandwiches?!"

Bobby grinned at her and moved in front of her to the cashier.

"Hey!" Tara protested. "You're cutting in front of me!"

Bobby, continuing to ignore Tara's protests, waved her off and quietly gave his order to the cashier before turning back to continue teasing his favourite sheila.

"So, sent your letter to the North Pole yet?"

Tara rolled her eyes. "Top of my list is a cinnamon honey hot cocoa."

"Then your wish has been granted." Bobby took the cup from the counter and handed it to her with a gallant bow.

"Oh, thank you," Tara stammered, surprised by the sweet gesture. Bobby grinned and gave her a side hug as he started to eat his doughnut.

"So, now do you think Santa will bring me a gift after all?"

Tara just rolled her eyes.

That was her Bobby.
