Here we are again, I am glad that a lot of you enjoyed the last chapter! I needed some help coming up with a funny scene to follow up that serious mode from before and CrowSkull was happy to come in clutch with that new animal creation scene. As many of you figured out, yes, Diam and Liam created a platypus last chapter. That was his idea, and thankfully it worked out very well. I always need to keep reminding myself that this is a comedy story, and as such, it needs more comedic scenes. I'll do what I can on my own but with the ideas that I've gotten from CrowSkull, I think I can match the same comedic energy from the last chapter. Trying to be funny is always a task for me Lol, but it worked last time and some times before that, so I think I can keep doing it!

Detective Grimm

Chapter 39- Milk

Diam sighed as he held the once abomination that he and his brother had created just moments ago, it wriggled and purred in his grasp. Then it burped and tilted its head a little too far to be comfortable to the right. Diam tilted his head with it and then chuckled when its tail flipped forward and smacked him in the chest.

Very well, it can live for a little while longer.

"Being the original you shall retrieve special treatment," Diam said as he knocked on the door to Team JNPR's dorm room. "Since the heiress already has that dog thing, I shall deliver you to the next best thing."

He heard footsteps walk up to the door he knocked on and when it was pulled open from the inside wide green eyes stared into his for a good three seconds. Pyrrha then screamed and slammed the door in his face. While the rude action may have normally earned his ire and scorn, he simply laughed and listened to how her teammates asked why she panicked so suddenly. After a short conversation of who would go open the door next, it opened once more and this time dark blue eyes stared up at him.

"Hello there," Diam said with a click of his tongue. The creature sat taught on his left shoulder.

"General Benobi- Wait," Jaune smacked himself in the face. "Sorry about that, its a force of habit. Nora watched War in the Stars recently and she won't stop saying that stupid phrase to me."

"Jaune, you're the one who suggested that we watch that movie," Ren pointed out. "Don't regret any decision that has anything to do with Nora. That can make her sad, and when she's sad…"

"Things get bad," Jaune let out a conceited sigh. "True, true. Anyway, you're Mister Grimm, right? Professor Grimm's little brother?"

Diam felt a vein pop out of the corner of his forehead. "Yes," He swore he was going to revert the creatures they made together so that they screeched like female cats who were mating when he wasn't paying attention for making the children of Beacon believe that he was the little brother of the pair.

It didn't matter that he technically was.

He came second, moments later after the God of Light was born.

By Godly terms, he may have been younger by about fifteen nanoseconds.

By no means did that make him the little brother though, that was important to remember. Nothing else mattered, especially the time where he tried to accept it.

"I am Diam Grimm, I have a gift for your ginger-haired girl," He said as he picked up the creature off his shoulder and held it by the scruff of his neck. "Is she here?"

"Oh, you mean Nora?" Jaune asked. "Did you get her a gift? What is it? Oh nevermind, she's gonna like it no matter what-"

"YOU GOT ME A GIFT!?" Nora exclaimed as Jaune was shoved into the door so violently that it came flying off its hinges as he ended up in the bathroom somehow.

"I did," Diam said as if the blonde one didn't just receive a concussion. He held out the creature as if it was a wet rag with one hand. "This is now your little weird one. Take care of it."

"Oh my gosh!" Nora squealed as she caught the creature and immediately hugged it to her chest. "It's so adorable! O. M. G. Ren, you have to see this, just look its widdle fwace! EEEE~!"

"I can see it, Nora," Ren said as he checked to make sure Jaune didn't actually have a concussion. Though it seemed that there was no need to, Pyrrha was already holding his head in her lap and caressing his hair as if he was a long-time lover. In her dreams, maybe. The day Jaune stopped being dense was the day that Nora confessed her love for him. And that was just as likely as it was Blake suddenly becoming human. Unless they were in the middle of a crowd of people in the midst of a crisis which ultimately lead to a massacre that they could have stopped if they were paying more attention. Strangely specific, but he's spent over a decade with Nora. She had to start rubbing off on him someday. "That is quite an interesting creature. What is it called? I've never seen one of these before?"

"Ooo! I know, I know!" Nora exclaimed, yanking her scroll out of her pocket and then dragging herself and Diam further into the room to meet him. Diam allowed it, he was far too curious to see where this went to care that he was being touched in such a way. "I just looked this up and exactly four minutes and seventy-seven-"

"That's over five minutes, Nora." Ren pointed out.

Nora did her best to hear his words but decided that she didn't care what he thought.

"And I found out that a new creature has been discovered in Mistral! They call it an uh… Platypus, or whatever. Either way, they think its really weird that they suddenly popped up all over the world but they don't really do anything besides swim around and lay eggs. They were only discovered a few minutes ago, though. So I guarantee there's a lot more to learn about them!"

"And pray to tell, why did you decide to look this up all of a sudden?"

"'Cause I felt like it."

"Fair enough I suppose…"

"You know…" Diam said as he bent down and wrapped an arm around Nora's shoulder, pulling her closer so that he could speak into her ear. "there is something that I learned about them once I found this one. Want to know what it is?"

Nora gasped. "Do I!?"

"Indeed," Diam chuckled. "They don't have stomachs. So do you know what that means?"

"I don't even have to feed it!?"

"Well no, not even close," Diam replied. "But it does mean that it doesn't need to eat a whole lot in order to survive. Just feed it fish, I think, and you'll be fine."

"Ooooh, I understand now!" Nora said with a beaming smile. "But how do you know that? How did you find one?"

Diam shrugged his shoulders. "It just sorts of fell on my bed all of a sudden. I don't know what else to do with it and it's not like I can keep a pet with my… immensely busy schedule." Unless it were Grimmified of course, then he'd at least consider it. "So, since I saw you taking care of the creature that is under Team RWBY's care, I saw fit that you would be the next best person to take care of a pet."

"Awe!" Nora crooned as she squished her cheek against his chest while clinging onto him tightly with what vaguely looked like a hug. He was so much bigger than her she could barely get her arms around him. He laughed as she tried and failed to squeeze the life out of him, if it were that easy, he would have been lazy in creating this vessel. "Thank you so much, Mister G! I'll take good care of this thing! Hm… now, what should I name it? Her? Him? Meh, I'll just wait for it to decide?" She wondered out loud while holding up the platypus in both hands. It tilted its head at her and she tilted her head along with it. When it tilted the other way, she mimicked its movement.

"Krkrkrkrkrkrkrkrkr," The platypus clicked its tongue about three dozen times at her.

Nora took one hand back and it came back soaked in milk. She nodded as if she expected that and wiped it off on her skirt, earning a scolding from Ren as he went to clean up the suspicious stain with a handkerchief he had ready for situations just like this.

"Ah-ha!" Nora shouted as a light bulb went off in her skull. "Dairy! Dairy the Platypus! Solely because the first thing he did was sweat milk on me!"

"Nora no…" Ren plead.

"Nora yes!" Nora barked out a burst of excited laughter. "What do you think Mister G?"

"I believe that is a fantastic name. Has a good ring to it." Diam replied. "And with that, I shall take my leave. I have someone to bother and the motivation to do it. Be right back!" He stopped before snapping his fingers. "Do make sure to take care of it, I don't know what happens when it dies but I fear it may be catastrophic."

Nora gasped. "I would never let any harm come to it!" Nora claimed as she threw Dairy over her head and onto her bed behind her. "I swear it on the Valkyrie name! Dairy Lie Valkyrie-"

"Please don't name it after me," Ren, once again, as usual, went ignored. And forgotten.

"-shall live forever under my care!" She finished, clenching one fist excitedly as she turned and grinned at Dairy, her new pet Platypus. "You and I are going to go dar, Dairy the Platypus. Together, we shall conquer worlds. Tear down the corrupted walls of society and build anew! Together, we shall reign as Queen and… Other Queen? Then, we shall lead the world of Remnant into a new era. A new era where no one need ever be ashamed of their milky sweat ever again."

"Krkrkrkrkrkrkr."

"I knew you'd agree!"

Pyrrha watched from the bathroom as she stroked Jaune's temples in an effort to make his comatose state a little more comfortable than she imagined it would feel. After witnessing what just happened before her eyes she wondered if that was the same man that she saw just the day before bring everyone, including the headmasters of Atlas and Beacon, to heel. At the same time no less. He was so scary then… no, scary wasn't the proper term. He was terrifying. But then there he was now, giving Nora a pet that she knew was going to make her, and by extension her team, happy…

Was that… on purpose? Did he want to do that? Pyrrha wasn't sure, she had her own suspicions. A deity literally called the God of Darkness was not one to take lightly surely. Yesterday he may have been upset, but even if he was in a good mood all it would take is him snapping and the whole world could be reset. It was painful enough not to be able to talk to her teammates about it when she knew that they could tell that she was going through something mentally. But it made it even more difficult when she saw the way that Diam was acting, while he wasn't behaving as a God should. Or at least the kind of God that she would portray them as.

He was funny. Charming. Every word that came out of his mouth had more than one meaning and the way he carried himself brought forth an aura of a seasoned veteran with a widely ranged personality. As if he knew everything there was to know. Now she knew that he really did know everything. But after seeing him yesterday, and comparing that God to the simple amusing man that he was just now? It was confusing.

Was that a strange way for him to apologize? She didn't know, couldn't know for the life of her if she could help it. The way the mind of a God worked must have been far different from the way a simple mortal one like her own would operate. Which just added even more confusion to the table.

She didn't know what to make of him. But she was definitely still scared of him. The thought of him being in this usual funny mood and something making him snap and make a one-eighty on a dime scared her more than she could care to admit. But she wouldn't deny the fact that she was grateful, her own depressed mood had been bringing down the morale of her team, and with the Vytal Festival beginning so soon - literally tomorrow - they needed the boost. When Jaune woke up, he would probably be too enamored with Nora's new pet to even care that she accidentally knocked him out. The adorable boy that he was…

"Ah…" She realized what she just thought and felt her cheeks rush with blood. "What am I thinking… I should just focus on the first round, for now, I still have until the end of the tournament to decide after all. Perhaps…" She shook her head violently at a lewd thought. "No! Bad Pyrrha! Alright, let's just see how things work out for now. I'm sure things will get better…"

"What is she saying?" Nora whispered to Dairy as Ren shook his head with an amused grin on his face.

"Krkrkrkrkrkr." Dairy replied.

"Yeah, I don't know either," Nora said. "We'll have to keep an eye on her for now. Between you and me Dairy, I think she has a crush on Jaune."

"Oh my God," Ren said loudly, frustratingly slapping his own face in the process. The audible sound of skin smacking against skin bounced around the room. Creating an echo that would be remembered for the rest of his natural life, and perhaps even the realm beyond realms.

Really, and he thought Jaune was the densest of the team.

"Ah!" Weiss yelped as she fell backward on her bottom. Staring wide-eyed up at the tall, purple man that had just teleported in front of her right as she was going to take a shower. Thankfully, the towel stayed true to its vow and hid the sight of her modest breasts from her mentor's trained eyes. The thought of him witnessing her nudity was all too embarrassing for her to handle.

"I'm borrowing the heiress for a moment!" Diam exclaimed as he leaned down and picked up Weiss in his arms.

"M-mentor!? What are you doing!?" Weiss shouted back indignantly, desperately trying to make sure that the towel stays on.

"Okay!" Ruby chirped back. "But bring her back in an hour! We have plans to discuss!"

"Deal!"

Traitor! Damn Ruby and her all-too-kindness and trusting Diam way more than a fifteen-year-old girl ought to trust a grown man she's known for two months at best with her partner. Ugh, if it wasn't Mentor she'd have been struggling much more than she was now!

Before she could blink Diam teleported them both back to the club, where the first started getting close and where she demanded that he make her his apprentice. She yelped again as she was tossed on a bean bag chair, and flinched as Diam threw his covers over her body. Thankfully, he seemed to have washed it so no… natural fluids stained into the sheet would dare touch her body.

She looked around the room and screamed as she saw another pair of silver eyes staring at her curiously.

"Brother!" Diam shouted, frustrated. "What are you still doing here!? I'm using this room right now you can use the one across from here if you really need to be in this club that badly!"

"Sorry, sorry," Liam said as he dipped out of the room. "Force of habit, I had nothing to do today and I already gave Ruby her-"

"I don't care for a list of your to-do shit right now! Shew, shew!" Diam exclaimed as he pushed his older brother out the door and slammed it behind it. He thought about locking it but quickly realized just how useless of an endeavor that would be and settled for barricading it with a spare bean bag chair instead. Once the deed was done, he turned and sat down next to Weiss on a couch that was mysteriously shaped like a therapeutic sofa. He sighed as he relaxed into it, letting his weight settle deeper into the cushions.

Weiss didn't know what to say or do. She was still wondering what she was there in the first place to care about anything else at the moment.

"So, heiress, do you know where the Specialist is?"

"You kidnapped me out of my bathroom while I was half-naked so you could ask me where my sister is!?" Weiss exclaimed. Crossing her arms angrily under the protection of her covers.

"Well, yes. Obviously." Diam said with a laugh and a roll of his eyes. "Why else would I kidnap you from your bathroom?"

"To say hi!?" Weiss immediately realized how that sounded and blushed when Diam laughed at her because of it. "O-or I don't know, not purely because you want to know where Winter is? It has been some time since we spent time together. You've been neglecting me, Mentor. I haven't felt the pleasure of your lessons in quite the long span of time."

"First of all, I know you messing with me by phrasing it like that." Diam pointed out. "Second of all, I took your entire team out on a mission like a week ago! You can't tell me that you've already forgotten."

"Ugh, like I could forget you risking your life by going against a wall of big fuck you Grimm by yourself-" Weiss gasped and clapped a hand to her mouth. Silencing herself. "No… I've been corrupted…"

"I'm so proud of you," Diam said as he wiped an imaginary tear from his eye. "Don't worry, your secret is safe with my heiress. Though, be careful with that new potty mouth of yours. We wouldn't want the Specialist to hear how you've been taking after me in more ways than one."

"I hate you," Weiss said as she covered her shameful pink face.

"Don't lie to yourself, I know you feel quite the opposite." Diam chuckled. "Anyway, back to the topic at hand and before you remind yourself of unneeded pain you mustn't keep in your memory. The Specialist and I have something to talk about, something that she has been putting off."

"Are you sure that she is the one putting it off?" Weiss asked, already knowing what he was talking about. "Can't you literally teleport yourself wherever you want whenever you want? If you can teleport into my bathroom and kidnap me so efficiently that I am terrified of the thought of someone much more undesirable with a similar ability who could use it to bring me harm, I think that you should consider your relationship with my sister more of a two-way street than anything."

Raven Branwen sneezed suddenly and drew out her sword.

"Woah, everything okay boss?" Vernal asked, caught off guard by her master's action. "What was that all about?"

"Someone just mentioned an idea of me…" Raven said with narrowed eyes. "But I don't know who it is… Whoever it was, I have this sudden desire to lock them in a wooden cage and leave them unsupervised as punishment."

"Well…" Vernal scratched her ear, confused as all hell. "That's weird…"

"I see your point," Diam replied. "And I hate it. I hate that you have a point and I have half a mind to send you back to your little friends now."

"Oh no, you don't mister!" Weiss exclaimed as she shot to her face, keeping the sheets around her body, she stomped up to him and jabbed a finger into his chest as he lied down on the couch. "Not after what I witnessed between you and my sister - I know that there is something going on between the two of you! Do you think I didn't see that you two were about to kiss? Hah! As if I'd not be able to read the room I'm about to barge in uncharacteristically!"

"You are being very brave today," Diam said. "Very, very brave. Where did this burst of confidence come from?"

"Because even I have had suitors before. You are the one man that has been able to melt her heart so!"

"Wait-" Diam sat up suddenly and widened his eyes. "You mean to tell me that that briefest of touches of our lips was her first!? I was her first!? Surely, you jest. That cannot be! Wasn't she heiress before you?"

"Hmph, by the time she was my age she already pledged herself to General Ironwood and promised to become a Specialist. Which downright renounced her own inheritance to the Schnee Dust Company." Weiss explained. "All she ever thinks about is what she is going to do on the job or what she is going to do in the future of another job. I've never seen her think of a man before - or even a woman! I thought that she might have preferred the same gender but after years and years of no mention of any lovers I feared that she may have been A-sexual."

"Not only do I not know what that means but it also scares me…" Diam shivered. "How old is your sister anyhow?"

"Oh, she is eight years older than I. Which makes her twenty-five."

A similar age to the body he granted himself… Hm, that was strange. In the few years that he has been running around in this body, he has had hundreds of bed-sharers. Though other than pleasure none of them really mattered and he did run a club that revolved around adult pleasantries and entertainment. So he supposed that it was just bound to happen someday even if he was hesitant at first. Which he wasn't. He didn't even remember his first lay, and the most recent one was Glynda. But it wasn't like any of them mattered now. It was all for good fun, after all. That's all it ever was. Just for fun.

"Twenty-five and a virgin," Diam shrugged his shoulders, somehow not as surprised as he thought he would. "Makes sense actually, knowing her. That certainly explains why she has been avoiding me as of late."

"What about you? Don't try and make this all about her," Weiss huffed, crossing her arms and stamping the floor with her foot. "You're just as guilty for not making contact with her. Did you know that she and I talked? Apparently one of her fears is that you see her just as you do any other one of your… er… to put it as politely as possible, sluts."

"That's putting it politely?"

"Only when it has my sisters heart in interest, yes." Weiss nodded her head, not at all concerned with her own potty-mouth this time around.

"Fair enough," Diam sighed. "Of course she isn't just another slut as you put it. The Specialist is… more important than that. I admit."

Weiss' brows curled up as Diam looked away. "Well, that's…" SO CUTE! She squealed in her mind. "Very mature of you, actually." She said out loud. "Honestly, I didn't think you'd be interested in anyone like that, but that is as good of a confession as any. You really do like my sister… I can see it, honestly." She sighed, stamping her foot again indignantly. "Damn it, Mentor, why are you making this much easier than I thought it'd be!?"

"Heiress, tell me, have I ever been a complicated man?"

"YES! EVERY DAY!"

"Recently?" Diam rephrased himself and coughed nervously when Weiss just stared at him. "Oh whatever, fine. I don't need you looking at me like Celeste does when I accidentally destroy something she liked." With a sigh, Diam turned in his seat and swung his legs over the edge, making Weiss take a step back to give him more space to stand up.

"Just so you know, I approve of this," Weiss added at last. "I am with you all the way, Mentor. If there was anyone I could trust with my sister's heart, it would be you."

"Hmph, that's the God of Darkness you're talking to here, Weiss," Diam said with a smirk.

Weiss just shrugged her shoulder. Already used to what she perceived as a simple running joke.

"How ironic," Diam said as he brought a hand up, ready to snap his fingers. He didn't finish that sentence as he placed a hand on Weiss' shoulder and teleported her individually away and back to the bathroom, he'd borrowed her from before. After that, he took a deep breath and snapped his fingers a second time, prepared to face one of his newest issues.

Winter recoiled back in her office as a sphere of dark energy formed in the chair across from her desk. She felt her heart skip a beat as she refused to meet the eyes of her partner as he sat with one leg crossed over the other, staring at her with those stupid pretty purple eyes of his.

"Hello there," Diam greeted her with his usual saccharine accent. "It has been quite some time, hasn't it?"

"It has," Winter allowed. She didn't say anything else.

"My, the last time I saw you was when-"

"I remember," Winter cut him off uncharacteristically. Hm, it seemed that his previous suspicions were correctly, she was acting differently around him now. She was far from the stoic and professional Specialist from before. Now, she was just being herself, and a young woman at that. He knew how to read these signs, he was a debauchery enthusiast himself. Or at least that was what Diam Grimm was totally into. "You don't need to say it. I know why you're here." She sighed and moved her papers to the side, making a mental note to take care of it later. It wasn't even that important. Just some papers to sign on Ironwood's behalf that had their deadline weeks later into the month.

"I was wondering what was taking you so long…" She added after a second thought.

Diam scoffed. "I had an… activity that I needed to attend to with my brother. As well as a donation of a certain sort. After that, I kidnapped your sister from a bathroom and had a nice conversation about you with her before I came here now. Don't worry, she had clothes on the entire time." Tapping the tip of his finger on his chin, he corrected himself. "Or rather she had something covering her body, yes. That's the correct way to phrase it."

"Do I want to ask why you did that?" Winter asked. "Or should I be more concerned that I am now that you have the power to take her from anywhere at any time due to your semblance?"

"Hah! That was the same thing she said." Diam laughed. "But no, you needn't worry about anything like that from me. Don't you know me, Specialist? I'd never hurt anyone who didn't already deserve it," He smirked. "Especially not my favorites. You two hold a special place on the pecking order. Right beneath me and ahead of my brother."

"That is quite the honor," Winter scoffed through her nose, a chuckle escaping her. "I wonder if anyone else has managed to make it that far…"

"Mm," Diam knew what she meant. The other men and women that he has shared warmth with. If he were a normal human he may have been flustered. He just felt nothing and shrugged his shoulders. "No other mortal has gotten this close to me, I can confirm for you that much." He said with a knowing grin. "Don't you believe me?"

"I…" Winter pulled at her collar and looked away. "I suppose I do. I don't believe you've ever told a lie. Which is surprising, considering the power you now hold over the criminal underworld, I thought lies could come out of your mouth as easily than you could snap your fingers."

"Come now, I'm not that bad." It was an amusing thought that he forgot about that. With Roman and Neo arrested and Cinder beat down in public by himself. He was put up on a pedestal. Junior had messaged him before that some of the leaders of other otherwise unsavory organizations have been going to him to ask permission to do certain deeds, assuming that Junior was his second in command. He just let Junior handle all of that. He had no desire to involve himself in any criminal activities. The only order he gave out was not to do anything that would earn his attention. And since then, crime rates have gone way down. At least from public knowledge, anyway.

"You get close sometimes," Winter turned back to him and crossed her arms below her chest. "I wonder just what you are sometimes. You are no normal man. No one could ever speak to the General the way you do and get away with it, no one has as many ties as you, and as much as I hate to admit it, no one was ever quite as charming as you are. And don't even get me started on your semblance and its many mysterious applications…"

"I'll take that compliment while its there," Diam smirked. "And to be fair, your glyphs are certainly mysterious as well. Time dilation, summoning, control over ice, and other elements involved with dust and many more than I haven't cared enough to remember. You tell me that I am the mysterious one?" He leaned forward, making sure that his glowing eyes rising in intensity were seen by the Specialist. "You, are something I have never encountered before. You are pure, determined, and your own power rises questions from even me and my brother. And I like that,"

Winter coughed to clear her throat to try and hide the fact that she felt blood rush to her face at that. "You are being bolder than usual," She pointed out. "Why is that?"

"Because I am done waiting," Diam said, standing up and walking around her desk. She remained sat but turned her chair so that she could more easily look at him. He didn't get closer, but for some reason, she thought that was just part of his little plan.

"We have avoided each other long enough, so it is time that we confront this… the thing between you and I. Let us face it, we are adults, after all. I am interested in you," He said flat out. "As you are of me."

"Y-yes," Winter stammered, unable to meet his eyes. "I am."

"However…" It was Diam's turn to look away, staring at the floor and unable to meet her eyes. "I am the Lord of Dark, and I… I don't think that I am worthy of any kind of love… not after what I've done."

"What?" Winter stood up and closed the distance, stepping in front of him and cupping his cheeks. The bold action even caught her off guard, but she couldn't allow him to say and believe that himself. "We all have things that we regret Diam… I don't know exactly what it is you seem to regret but the fact that you regret it shows that you are not the person that you think you are."

"I am," Diam whispered back, bringing one hand up and clasping it around one of Winter's wrists. "You really have no idea just how much I am…"

"Not to me," She proclaimed. "You've saved my life, my sister's life, and countless others. If it weren't for you, bad people would still be other there, and the breach would have ended potentially thousands, and ruin morale for years more. Tell me that the 'God of Darkness' would do that? Tell me that the person that you think you are would have committed all of those selfless acts for little to no reward?"

That was the problem. He was going against his nature. His very nature was to destroy, from the very beginning, anything that his brother created. For a million years, that was what he did. The only reason he wasn't like that any more was that his brother had enough of it. They battled, and the God of Light won. He submitted, and Remnant came to be millennia later. He hadn't even known that the properties of creation were available to him until he created the Grimm and every dark think about the world.

And then he ended that same world anyway. With his brother's permission no less. It wasn't truly gone, as he was standing on it at that very moment. But he could still remember that massive influx of souls in transit to the Overworld and Underworld respectively after he unleashed just a fragment of his power over the surface of the planet. Millions of souls, all crying out curses, questions, and pain. All because a single human defied him.

"You don't want this," Diam said, the first tears he has ever shed beginning to form in the corners of his eyes. "I can only bring pain…"

"You are wrong," Winter said, forcing him to look at her. "You are so much more… You are Detective Grimm, my partner, my sister's Mentor, and the savior of the Breach. And I…" She swallowed nervously but made herself say it anyhow.

"I do want this. I do want you…" She finally admitted. "And I know you want me as well."

She pushed her lips onto his in the next second. He leaned into it the next. Closing his eyes as he allowed the love of Winter Schnee to be accepted by his vessel's heart. There wasn't any part of this that felt wrong to him, and they continued to kiss until Diam was done restraining himself.

Winter's back pushed up against a bookshelf behind her, knocking down several of the books. Not that either of them cared. Diam was already sure to lock the door behind them with his magic and closed down all the shades so that they had the privacy that he knew that the Specialist would want. When they finally parted, Winter's breathing was ragged and her face was the deepest shade of red that he has ever seen. She smiled at him, and he smiled during their kiss as they continued. The sorrow he had felt moments prior already fading away.

His shirt was thrown off minutes later, as was the first layer of clothing from the Specialist and at that moment. Diam was the happiest he thought he'd ever been.

He wasn't a God in the moments they connected with each other.

He was just as she said.

Detective Grimm.

Oof someone helps me fan myself! Oh lord, that was an end to a chapter and a half. Suddenly things are getting much more in-depth if you know what I mean. They are definitely going to find out how long winter is, and how no Grimm could ever weather that storm. Puns aside, this story is nearing its final arc. I originally planned to have it done months ago. But then I started and Finished Destiny Fated Black. Finished the first part of A Tale of Two Heroes. Started my new story in The Seventh War, which is a Fate-Stay Night fanfiction if any of you are interested. And then planning future stories.

I even have the story after this one ready to go. I just need to finish this one soon. I'd say… 10-15 chapters to be safe. Maybe less, maybe more, it depends on what I plan to do and what I come up with as I write.

Does anyone remember that YBWR story idea? Well, that story is definitely happening. As for what YBWR means, I am sure you guys can figure it out.

And I shall see you all next time! Man, this chapter made me happy. It felt so good finally giving Diam this happy emotional moment. Even though the GoD in actual cannon probably would have NEVER gotten this far, its fun to think of the 'what if's' y' know?
