Aladdin could hardly register that Jasmine, wait did she just say Sultan, was kissing him, Aladdin. Not Prince Ali, but she was choosing to kiss street rat Aladdin. It must've been just magic left over from the events that occurred less than thirty minutes ago, residual genie magic. But how could that be when he felt her right hand touching his shoulder with her hair piece and her lips applying a sweet pressure to his upper lip. Just as he was assuring himself of the reality of this situation, she was pulling away. Thankfully not too far though. He hesitantly opened his eyes only to be graced with such a small and content smile on Jasmine's face.

"Jasmine?" He asked softly, slowly scanning her face again, trying for the hundredth time to validate her presence.

She was slow to open her eyes, savoring his presence before she became aware of their surroundings, saying, "I believe you mean, "your serene self."" Pride and joy coursed through her features, but she was confused as to why Aladdin seemed hesitant, as if a million different thoughts were eating his brain.

Aladdin was screaming for joy internally, so beyond excited and proud that he would be able to call the most stunning human he's ever come into contact with his sultan. He was ecstatic that her father realized that she is the rightful ruler, that gender didn't determine capability. She would grace their kingdom with kindness and help eradicate poverty. He wanted more than anything to wrap her in his arms and twirl her around in celebration, in joy, in love. But what did her new title as Sultan mean for their shared future? While he wanted to act on impulses, he restrained himself out of fear of making it harder to let her go. Surely, she would still have to marry a prince! Especially now that's she's a sultan and not merely a princess!

His mind stilled, however, when her hand came to his lower cheek. He felt her father's ring, indicating her title of Sultan, touch his jaw. He raised his gaze to meet hers. And in her eyes, he could see reassurance, hope, and if he wasn't mistaken, love. The validation in her eyes coupled with her stroking his cheek... she was too kind to play games with him. She must know that they have a future, must have knowledge of a feasible marriage. All this was confirmed when Jasmine gestured with little, successive head nods, conveying the message, I choose you, Aladdin.

It was then Aladdin acted on impulses, wrapping her in a tight embrace and twirling them around, happily laughing into the crook of her neck as he could feel Jasmine giggle into his hair. As they came down from their high, seconds as their own infinity, they stayed in an embrace as Jasmine kissed the shell of his ear after whispering, "I will explain all of this to you over some of your jams, but I think it's time for me to be reunited with my people."

Jasmine couldn't help the tears that pooled in her eyes as she pulled away, but not first without Aladdin kissing her knuckles through his smirk that she had grown so fond of. He asked against her skin if she wanted the yam jam or seedless date jam which caused a tear to finally escape as she squeezed his hands before making her way to finally greet the people of Agrabah who she had missed.
