Prologue: Becoming A Caretaker.

Tatsumi Seika was an ordinary young human male with a bland origin. His father was no one of importance and worked behind a desk, and his mother was originally a stay at home wife before joining the workforce and working at a middle school.

However, a lot of people would disagree with this type of thinking, for not a lot of normal young males would be in the same position he was in right now.

It had been two years since he had graduated from high school with a slightly above average grade, and a year since he had moved out of his parent's home, which was a lot harder than he thought it would be.

He had moved from his home in Tokyo to a small town called Kuoh, which happened to be a relatively peaceful place.

When he had first moved to Kuoh, Tatsumi had to fend off the temptation to go back home, for he ended up missing a lot of things. However, he was able to get by, and while he did have some bumps in the road, he was able to survive on his own for almost an entire year.

Of course, he wasn't going to deny that there were some insanely hard times where he wanted to give up, and go back home, but his pride as a man wouldn't allow it. Not to mention, his momma didn't raise any chickens.

He was born into this world to live on his feet, not to live on his knees.

Eventually though, his lonely life in Kuoh came to an end, and he became the host of an extra species.

How it came to be was sudden and without warning. It was late in the morning in mid-July when he, and the rest of Japan's citizens were told by the government that they weren't the only intelligent beings in this world.

It was a tremendous shock to him, especially when he saw the Prime Minister of Japan, and the President of the United States shaking hands with monster-like creatures on TV that were wearing suits and dresses, but what shocked him the most was what he found at his door not long after seeing this.

Standing outside his apartment, and accompanied by several men in black suits with sunglasses was a large humanoid girl.

At first, he was congratulated by the men in suits before being told that he along with many others across the nation would be taking part in the Cultural Exchange Program, which was something he had never heard of nor signed up for, and that he will be taking care of the woman he sees in front of him.

They had also told him that his home doesn't meet the standards, and that he would have no choice, but to move to a different residence, but he had been barely listening to them, for most of his attention was on the 'woman' that was practically three feet taller than him.

She had light green skin, red eyes with black sclera, long straight blueish-purple hair that covered almost all of the right side of her face including her eye, pointy ears, and if there were two words to describe her body than that word would be, huge and ripped.

She was, in Tatsumi's mind, the definition of jacked up. She basically had arms that were the size of tree trunks, if not that bigger. Abs that would make any woman wanna touch, and thighs that could probably crush his skull with just the littlest of pressure.

These weren't the only things on her he found to be huge. No, her breasts were the size of melons if not that a little larger, and he was pretty sure she could suffocate someone with them due to how big they were. Her butt was also something that he considered to be insanely big, but that was something he wasn't freaking out about, at least in a bad way, and that was because he was more of an ass guy.

She was an Orc named Sera, and all of this stuff had happened in less than a few hours ago, and at this very moment in life, she had just helped him finish moving into his new home. As for her clothing, she wore clothing that you would see out of a fantasy-like show, which was a brown crop top with fur braces, a brown waist sash, and a blue and gold thong. She also wore brown boots.

The men in black suits had helped him out as well, but once they were done, they left. However, one of the men in black suits told him before leaving that a Coordinator would be stopping by tonight with a bunch of things that he would need to sign, and told him until that happens he should get to know the person he will be taking care of.

Of course, Tatsumi didn't like the idea of being left alone with an Orc, and had asked the man if they were really going to leave him alone with her, which was something the man found to be funny, for he had laughed at him before telling him that they were, and that he shouldn't worry. He had also said that Sera wouldn't bring him any harm, for she's apparently not like most Orcs, but that didn't calm him down at all.

In fact, Tatsumi was so concerned and against the idea of being left alone with her that he had been half tempted to latch onto the man's leg, and beg him not to leave him alone with her, but didn't out of fear of how she would react to the sight of him doing this.

"I, I have to be a man." He told himself as he felt her gaze lingering on his back. "She may be bigger than me, and could probably break my back if she wanted to, or worse, but I gotta let her know that I'm not exactly on board with this, and that I-"

"Hey." Came a feminine voice from behind, which caused him to look over his shoulder and see her right behind him with a slightly dull expression.

"Y-Yes?" He squeaked.

"You afraid of me?" She questioned as she crossed her arms underneath her large bust. There was a tinge of interest in the one eye Tatsumi could see, but he had mistaken this for a glare.

Hesitantly, he replied.

"Sh-Should I be?"

She didn't answer him for quite some time, and during this time she looked him up and down, but eventually, she responded with somewhat of a sly smirk that terrified the shit out of him. "Possibly, we'll see."

After this was said, Sera left his room with a spring in her step.

Once she was gone, Tatsumi swallowed the saliva that had accumulated in his mouth, and fell to his knees.

"Looks like that should be illegal! And what did she mean by 'maybe' am I in danger or not!? Oh God, what did I do to deserve this? Was it because of the fights I got into and the use of profanity!? If so, then I'm sorry. I'm sorry for getting into a few fights when I was younger, and saying a bunch of swear words, and I promise never to do that shi-I mean stuff again!" He said to himself as he put a hand over where his heart was and attempted to stop freaking out.

Eventually, after about five minutes of internally freaking out, Tatsumi was able to get somewhat of a grip on himself and got back onto his feet.

"I, I am a man, and I will not let her intimidate me." He told himself as his eyes filled with conviction. "Tonight I will speak to this Coordinator and I'm gonna let them know that this is a mistake, and that I think it might be better if I moved back to my old apartment, and yeah. That's all I need to do."

[Break.]

"And one last time right here." The woman in a black suit asked as she pointed to where Tatsumi was supposed to sign on the sheet of paper.

"..."

Tatsumi said nothing, and simply wrote his name down while holding back the tears he wanted to cry.

He had tried to convince his Coordinator that he wasn't too comfortable being Sera's host, and that he wanted to go back to his apartment, but she didn't take the hints he was throwing at her, and told him that it was to be expected, for so far none of the people she had spoken to were okay with living someone they knew nothing about.

It was unfortunate, but in the end, he was basically left with no choice, but to accept his new life and hope that what had happened earlier with Sera was a joke.

"Okay, with that signed, I believe we are done here!" The blonde said energetically as she stacked the sheet of paper on top of the other signed papers. "Congratulations Sera, I hope you enjoy your time in Japan, and congratulations to you as well, Mr. Seika."

Tatsumi couldn't help from frowning a little as he tried to figure out why she was congratulating him.

Meanwhile, Sera flashed a smile and spoke in a grateful tone while bowing her head. "Thank you, Agent Amari. I am very thankful to have a host like him. I believe him and I will get along wonderfully, don't you think so too, Tatsumi?"

"Y-Yeah, of, of course." He stammered.

Despite hearing the traces of concern and what she believed to be a little bit of fear in Tatsumi's voice, Agent Amari smiled, and said, "I'm going to go now. I have a bunch of more houses that I need to go to, but if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, Mr. Seika, then text me or call me, okay?"

"O-Okay." Tatsumi said with great reluctance as he tried to act as if he wasn't troubled at all by any of this.

"Great." Was all Agent Amari said in response before leaving the house with the stack of signed papers.

Once she was gone, Sera let out a sigh as she stretched her arms over her head. "So, now that she's gone, and we're officially Host and Guest, why don't we have an honest talk, Tatsumi and get to know one another? I mean, you had the chance to earlier, but instead, you basically stayed in your room."

Knowing that he really has no choice in the matter, Tatsumi let out his own sigh before saying in a bit of a firm manner. "Can you really blame me? You're an Orc, a creature I had believed to be unreal, who is known as bloodthirsty raping pillagers. Any sane human wouldn't want to speak to something that is known for that because no sane humans wanna get killed or raped! Not to mention you had said something very frightening to me earlier, which quite honestly scared the actual crap out of me."

His voice had gotten slightly louder as well as higher as he explained why he had avoided her today, but Sera didn't seem to be bothered by this and kept a neutral expression.

After he had finished telling her his reasons, she put her left hand on her chin and silently thought about his reasoning before speaking.

"Alright, I can understand where you're coming from if that's your reason." She agreed with a nod of her head. "However, I'm not like most Orcs, and would probably only try to do something with you if I am like really in the mood because you're not really much to desire if we're being truthful here."

"Okay, well I wouldn't want to do something with you either if we actually are being truthful here." Tatsumi declared as he crossed his arms in a prideful manner. "You're like eight feet tall, and are nothing, but muscle. You pretty much have no feminine charm."

A tick mark appeared on her cheek upon hearing this. "No feminine charm, you say?"

"Yep." He affirmed only for her to stand up from her chair and move the table out of the way before grabbing him by the head with one hand and lifting him up into the air.

"You know, while I do consider myself to be one of the more gentle Orcs, I'm also not one to take comments like that, so when you say stuff like that, then even I can become a little bloodthirsty, understood Tatsumi?" She stated in a serious tone as she stared into Tatsumi's eyes, which were full of nothing, but fear and trepidation.

"I-Yes, I-I understand." Tatsumi agreed as he attempted to nod, which had made her smile a bit.

"Good." She stated as she let go of him causing him to fall to the ground and nearly onto his knees due to how scared he was..

"Oh, and I just wanna let know that I am considered to be the most prettiest woman in my tribe, so I don't know what you mean by having no feminine charm." She added in a somewhat defensive tone.

Tatsumi said nothing in response to this, for he was far too busy trying to calm himself down. He may have gotten into some fights in the past, but he had never experienced what he had just dealt with, so he couldn't really stop himself from freaking out internally.

Seeing how he still appeared to be scared, Sera let loose a small sigh of frustration, and said, "I'm sorry, Tatsumi. I, I probably shouldn't have let my anger get the better of me, and I realized that I am at fault for this. I had said something pretty rude before you made that comment, so if anything, what you said was just and completely reasonable, alright Tatsumi?"

Although he was still somewhat shaken by what had happened, Tatsumi did manage to reply this time.

"It, it's fine."

Unfortunately, his voice didn't have any conviction in it, which only made Sera begin to freak out internally.

She may not have caused him any physical harm, since she didn't use much force, but what she did do might have caused him some emotional and psychological harm, which were things she could be punished for.

The worst thing that could happen to her was deportation, and that was something she didn't want at all, so out of desperation, Sera fell to her knees and apologized sincerely with her forehead to the ground.

"Tatsumi Seika, I am truly sorry for my actions I have committed against you, and hope you can forgive me. I promise to never do that again, and hope we can start again with a clean slate!"

Taken aback by this sight, Tatsumi stared at her in silence as he pondered all of this. "Maybe I should give this a shot. I mean, sure what she did was a hell of scary, but it seems like she is genuinely sorry, so maybe I should forgive her and give this an actual shot."

Thinking about what his parents would do in this situation, and say to him, Tatsumi crouched down and tapped her on the top of her head.

A little surprised by this action, Sera looked up and saw him giving her a big friendly smile.

"Yeah, let's start over and see if we can make this work, okay?" He said before getting up and offering her a hand up while still flashing her that handsome smile of his.

"Y-Yeah, let's do that." She stuttered with a faint blush before taking his hand and allowing him to help her up. Of course, his smile didn't last long, for helping her up wasn't easy, and was quite a hassle, but it was the thought that counted.

After this was done, and a small silence passed over the two of them, Tatsumi said, "So, wanna go shopping? I saw that we had some food in the fridge, but we could always use more. Not to mention, this is like the perfect time to go to the grocery store, since this is about the time they start to restock. Plus, we can get to know one another more while we do this."

"Sure, let's go shopping." Sera agreed with a tiny grin of hers.

To Be Continued.

To be honest, I don't know why I wrote this. Oh well, I did it, and I don't regret it. I highly doubt a lot of people will read this, but who cares? I sure as hell don't. I mean, I'm writing this more for fun I guess. I could care less if the characters are inconsistent and whatnot, for this, at the end of the day, is based off one of the most ecchi mangas/anime I have ever read/watch. Flame it if you want, I don't care, burn me at the stake if you want, do whatever you want, I don't care.

Anyways, I'm gonna go now.
