Hello my loves, 2,369 words. Better than the last chapter that had barely held 1,000. Now this chapter will bring a new drama to the story. Hope your excited.

Thomas was cleared from the hospital, and now taking a nap within the safety of his Babbas arms. The happy family of five, in their fancy limo, heading back to their mansion that resided in Forks. Any fuss from the boy was quickly shushed, by his parents. Needless to say for the next several days, Thomas was going to be overly spoiled.

"Aro." Caius whispered to his brother, gaining a hum in acknowledgment. "You really should let me paint you, brother. While you hold our son."

"What an excellent idea, brother." Aro agreed, before his cool lips brushed over the young one's cheek. As Thomas was a bit too big now to be cradled, he could be held to one's chest so he could curl into his parents neck.

Alexandra, moved closer. Her fingers moving up your thread through her mate's hair, as he held their son. "That would be a beautiful portrait." She agreed, her lips touching his jaw softly.

"Mia cara, do not tease me while I hold our son. That can come later in the evening." Aro told her simply, he was not really moving a whole lot to keep the young child asleep.

Marcus watched. "Tease Aro a bit more." He encouraged, gaining a dark glare.

A soft laugh escaped the only female in the car. "Not now, though it may be entertaining for both you and Caius. Aro does not wish to disturb Thomas, and neither do I."

Marcus playfully pouted, it was odd to see him acting this way. Just went to show, just how happy the wise king was. His arms moving quickly to snatch Alexandra to him, lips quickly finding hers. "Very well, guess I will just have to tease you myself..once we get home that is."

Laughter bubbled from the young mother, as Marcus's fingers began dancing on her sides. That laughter died, when they pulled up to their house to see the Chief Swan, standing with two well dressed people and their lawyer. Alexandra stiffened instantly, before speaking. "Dillion's parents."

Dark growls filled the car. "What the fuck do they want?" Caius all but snarled, as the five exited the car.

"Alexandra, Aro, Marcus, Caius. This is Mr. and Mrs. Lewis, Dillon's parents. They wish to discuss the charges, and Thomas with you." Charlie explained, he obviously did not want to do this.

"Alexandra!" Mrs. Lewis exclaimed, the older woman who appeared to be in her sixties. She stood proud, with a giant Barbie doll pink fake smile upon her face, her skin several times lighter due to the amount of makeup she wore, while her blue eyes were lined and colored black. "Oh it is wonderful to see you again, I wish it was under better circumstances." Moving to place a strand of box black hair behind her ear.

"Mrs. Lewis." Alexandra greeted simply, while moving to keep her son from being seen.

Mr. Lewis who was still on the phone, his naturally aging silvery blonde hair longer than when she had last seen him. He wore his typical suit and tie, briefcase firmly in his hand. "Yes, son we will get this all worked out." With that statement, it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who he was speaking to.

Aro's eyes had already gone black, as he felt his mate trying to keep him calm. "Baby, think about Thomas in your arms." She cooed, which caused the vampire to take a deep breath.

"Oh is that my grandson!" Mrs. Lewis squealed happily.

Caius began shaking, his own eyes turning black. He could only guess that the couple wanted something, visitation rights, custody, something. Anything probably to get all the negative incidents to become hush hush. Caius would be damned however if he let any of that happen. Briefly feeling his mates lips touch his cheek softly. "Mia cara, Vogliono qualcosa. (They want something.)" He spoke softly in italian.

"lo so. (I know.)" Alexandra replied softly.

Mr. Lewis looked over in surprise, having heard the exchange. "Since when do you speak another language?"

"Since I moved to Italy." Alexandra replied simply.

"Oh that is where you have been? Have you been to Venice?" Mrs. Lewis gushed.

"No, I live in a small town off of Florence." Alexandra replied simply.

"Ah, so one small town to ano-"

"Stop that crap, what do you want?" Marcus cut him off.

Mr. Lewis obviously did not like that. "Who are you?"

"I'm one of Thomas's fathers." Marcus replied simply.

"As am I." Caius stated simply.

Aro walked slightly forward. "Do I really have to include myself, or can you see by the visual effects?"

"Nonsense, a child can only have one father and that is Dil-"

"No he is not." Alexandra replied simply.

The lawyer walked up, reminding her a bit of Edward just with black hair and green eyes. "Dillon is the biological father, is he not."

"Biologically speaking, he maybe bu-"

"So, we want visitation, if you ever wish to see child support." Mrs. Lewis replied simply, her entitlement coming out.

Alexandra narrowed her eyes. "Carla, you need to shut up and let me finish. Because what your son did was kidnapping."

"It was his son-"

"It." Caius repeated, now he, his brothers, and Alexandra were livid. "Thomas is not an it, he is a child. A child that Dillon has no legal claim to."

Mr. Lewis's voice raised instantly. "Listen here, I don't know what that whore told you, but that is my Grandson."

"Not legally, and if you refer to my son as an object again..you won't like the outcome." Alexandra said simply, before turning back to the lawyer simply. "As I was saying before Carla interrupted, Dillon Lewis is not listed as the father on Thomas's birth certificate. By law, he has no right or obligation to my son."

"Do you have the birth certificate here?" The lawyer asked softly.

"It will be here by the morning."

"You can't get anything shipped that fast, certainly not a copy of the birth certificate." Mr. Lewis spoke simply.

"I am a direct descendent of the founder and saviour of Volterra Italy. My brothers and I can get the certificate here." Marcus spoke simply.

"Where do you work in Volterra?" Carla asked.

"We are the Governors if you will." Caius replied, gaining wide eyes.

"Now Alexandra, how did you meet these three?" Carla asked, obviously looking to smear the girl's character.

Marcus however answered. "She started off as our maid, slowly over time feelings and love formed."

"Now she is the mother of our child, and the love of our lives." Caius added, wrapping his arms around his mate softly.

Carla and her husband both looked as if they were chewing on lemons, before she turned to her lawyer. "What does it matter if Dillon is not on the birth certificate?"

The man turned to her, honestly surprised at the woman's stupidity. "Well if Dillon's name is not on the birth certificate, then by law he has no rights to custody or visitation. It means your son will face those kidnapping, attempt of murder, and child endangerment charges."

"Then we are forced to be child support-"

"No." Alexandra replied simply. "You have no legal obligation to Thomas. Therefore child support is not due, and won't be. He doesn't need it, and I certainly don't want it from you."

"You will need to sign something, stating you are not seeking child support." The lawyer explained.

"I won't sign anything, until my own lawyer is here." Alexandra replied simply. "He will arrive with the birth certificate."

"Do you not trust-"

"Do not finish that sentence." Alexandra replied. "You raised a boy who used to beat the crap out of me, who almost killed my son twice now."

"Twice?" Carla asked.

Charlie decided to speak. "There is video evidence of Dillon dragging Alexandra by her hair at the hospital, demanding an abortion." He said simply, before sighing. "Along with pictures of every injury she had received by your son."

"My boy wouldn't-" Carla spoke, before stopping her eyes huge. "He never seemed violent towards women."

"He became violent after it was found out that his sister was getting the company." Alexandra replied simply. "It was his way of being superior to a woman."

Aro moved closer to his mate slowly, their son beginning to stir due to the raised voices and tension in the area. "Shh." He began to coo, at the first sound of a cry. "Babbas has you, I'm here, I'm here." The heat from the boy's frightened tears began to contrast against his skin. His dark eyes still narrowed at the older human couple, almost daring them to even try to take his son. He begins to softly sing Secret Garden's sleep song to the distraught child.

Lay down your head and I'll sing you a lullaby

Back to the years of loo-li lai-lay

And I'll sing you to sleep and I'll sing you tomorrow

Bless you with love for the road that you go

Alexandra turned back to Dillon's parents who were watching the beautiful sight with surprise and wonder. As from what she was told, they weren't really around to raise their children. So, the concept of what Aro was doing probably seemed foreign and exotic to them.

"What is he doing?" Mr. Lewis asked, a little disgust beginning to shine through. To which his ex daughter in law understood, a man tending to a child was a bazaar concept to him. As he believed that to be a woman's job.

May you sail far to the far fields of fortune

With diamonds and pearls at your head and your feet

And may you need never to banish misfortune

May you find kindness in all that you meet

"He is comforting our son." Alexandra answered, listening to the second verse of the song; before her mate just started to hum. Aro was a very private individual, not really wanting the attention he was receiving from the two other humans. If they were alone in the house or castle, he would probably sing all the lyrics.

"But that is for-"

"A father to do, at least this is how they should act towards their child. Not passing them off to some random person, when they won't sleep during the night." Alexandra stated simply. "Aro has more paternal instincts, than you will ever have."

"Now, Chief Swan." Caius spoke, gaining his attention. "Will you please escort them off of our property." He too was fussing a bit over Thomas, his cool hand gently stroking the back of the boy's head to sooth him back to sleep.

"Well Mommy." Marcus teased, gaining the disgusted looks to be on him as he looked to Alexandra. "I do believe that may be Thomas's hungry cry."

"Hmm, Papa. I do believe you to be right." Alexandra teased back, before she moved to gently take her son from Aro. He pouted, but kissed her lips as well as Thomas's head all the same.

Aro and Marcus elected to stay outside with the former in law's until they were properly escorted off the property, while Caius gently helped Alexandra inside the house.

The lawyer could be heard. "Uh where are they going?"

"We don't hire wet nurses." Aro's snide comeback followed, making Alexandra snort before Caius closed the door. This made it impossible for her to hear, but Caius listened closely.

0.o.0

Aro and Marcus both had walked back in, quite smug once the humans had left. "My love, your former in laws are completely idiotic." Her ebony lover exclaimed, as he was handed Thomas once again. A towel already over his shoulder.

"What did they say?" Alexandra asked, as she was currently sitting upon Caius's lap.

Marcus sat down on the left, while Aro took the right. "Mr. Lewis said that our job was to provide not cater to the child, that catering was for servants."

"That the mother should hire a wet nurse, so that her body will be ready for another offspring. That because we do this ourselves, that we obviously cannot afford the child." Aro finished what Marcus had started.

"What the hell?" Caius asked in surprise.

Alexandra shook her head. "Now they are wanting bank statements, aren't they?"

"Indeed they are." Marcus nodded. "They are in for a shock."

"Not to mention, even the lawyer was surprised and repulsed about what was coming out of their mouths." Aro added, while kissing Thomas's cheek. "They would not know how to take care of you, no they would not." Chuckles came from the table, as Aro's baby talk was quite amusing.

"Obviously he is not aware that women can get pregnant while breastfeeding, we just have to wait six weeks after having the baby." Alexandra said simply, raising an eyebrow. "Mr. Lewis may hold a lot of money, but he is stuck in the past."

"Barbarically so." Marcus agreed.

Alexandra smiled, before a thought came to her. "Are they taking us to court?"

"It appears that they are heading in that direction. So, they will probably do anything to ruin your character." Aro explained, he too became serious.

Alexandra nodded, before sighing. "You know this means Carlisle will have to give the documented photos, and they will be shown for all to see." She knew Aro had seen, but she had been reluctant to explain everything to Caius and Marcus. They never pressured her, understanding it was a rather traumatizing experience. No doubt this whole ordeal will make her relive the pain and suffering she endured.

Silence filled the room, as their joy of having their son back was being tampered. As now, they would be in a battle much darker than any the kings could ever understand. A fear filling them all, as though unlikely they could lose their son. That frightened all four parents to their very core.

What do you think? Oh and fun question for the reviews...who will impregnate Alexandra first out of the three kings?
