"JANNER." Janner heard the voice, HIS voice, the voice of the Maker. The voice made him feel so many wonderful, indescribable emotions. It was a soft whisper and at the same time, many trumpets. "JANER, MY PLANS FOR YOU ARE NOT OVER. WAKE ONCE MORE, BREATHE ONCE MORE AND LIVE!" and Janner woke.
A few weeks later:
Janner sat outside on a garden bench penning the latest entry in his journal. It was an extraordinarily beautiful day. The sun was shining and Janner was enjoying the quiet beauty of the late morning and thinking over his past adventures. He grieved to think of Podo's death and rejoiced to hear of Arthem and Arundelle's love. He blushed when he thought of Sara Cobbler and their own quiet love.
Janner was still blushing when Kalmar ran up to him excitedly with Arthem walking up behind, a bemused smile on his face. " Janner! Janner!" Kalmar said practically jumping up and down with excitement. "You'll never guess what we found! It's Esben and Uncle Arthem's old ship! Ma said we could take her out today if Uncle Arthem went with us and he said yes!" Kalmar paused for breath then went on expectantly " Well Janner, are you coming?" Janner laughed. " Of course Kal, someone needs to keep you out of trouble." He set down his pen a paper. "This should be quite the adventure. Ok, let's go!"
