The rest of the evening, Reia barely paid any mind to whatever went on around her. Ever since Yuyu had previously dragged her away privately to explain the plan to make Tamaki slightly jealous due to what they believed to be a crush on Reia, well—the dark-haired girl's mind glazed over completely.

Her? Someone had a crush on her? Amajiki-kun?

Thoughts swirled through her mind the rest of the night. If anything, she couldn't quite process it other than worrying about how Tamaki must have felt. Mirio briefly popped in at some point before it got late to mention that Tamaki wasn't feeling well so he would take his indigo-haired friend home.

Nejire and several of the other girls attempted to take Reia's mind off things at the sleepover. Delicate fingers gently played through her long dark hair while others around her painted their nails. Yuyu had offered Reia a sympathetic smile from across the room. But Reia felt a bit bad for her seeing how she had to offer herself up to flirt like that.

If anything, throughout the evening, Reia could definitely see some semblance of guilt painted on the normally bubbly Nejire's face. It was understandable; Tamaki was their friend, not hers. They knew him best, so in retrospect, it wasn't any of her business. That didn't stop it from bothering her, though.

Once the tired teen arrived back at her home the following morning, she was far more tired than usual. Momo was considerably worried for her and her health, but Reia insisted that it was simply due to the fact that she'd never been to a sleepover before, so the circumstances were too new to be comfortable. Momo had too much on her plate being a brand new student at U.A. so who was she to push and pull all her issues on Momo, anyway? It wasn't fair to her. The Sports Festival was coming up and though she wouldn't admit to it; Reia could see the clear insecurities peek through the veil of Momo's eyes whenever her voice would raise just a bit too cheerfully when dismissing any concern.

Once Reia was in the comfort of her own bedroom, thoughts flooded her mind endlessly. What would happen tomorrow when she went back to school? What about Amajiki-kun? What about Hadou-san and Togata? She was beginning to form a headache.

Plopping down at her desk, she sighed deeply at the loose papers that she nearly threw down. Tomorrow was also the day that she would decide on an agency to take on for a work study. There was a good chance, though not guaranteed, that Reia could work there as a sidekick once she graduated, so the pressure was on.

'Cystoli'…Reia sighed at her own stupid hero name. 'How useless can you be that you can't find a proper agency?'

That was something she had a full rest of the day to stew on.

Reia's shoulders drooped in her seat and she huddled her knees closer to her chest.

Later that evening, Reia's mind replayed images of Amajiki-kun over and over throughout dreams. She hardly knew him, but he was so—kind. There was so much to him that she wanted to learn.

Perhaps…Reia could show him that a crush could be a good thing.

A/N: Very short chapter but it leads into next chapter which will be much longer and makes sense with the plot! :)

*As a note: the reader's hero name 'Cystoli' is something I came up with to fit her regeneration Quirk. ("cys" is a prefix meaning cell)
*"Cystoli: The Regeneration Hero"
*Pronounced "sis-tall-e" also pronounced like the world "systole" which is a part of the cardiac cycle. I stuck true to medical and science terms for the background and her Quirk!
