So thanks to the last Chapter plenty of you guessed who Dawns new pokemon was going to be, and while I hate to say this. None of you guessed correctly since I had Dawn's first Pokemon planed for a while there was no way I was going to change it, but I thought I'd take this time and Highlight your guesses on her first pokemon identity.

Also, I said this before, but Ash is only going to capture 5 legendaries in this story One from Kanto(Mewtwo), one from Johto(Lugia as voted on by you the readers), Hoenn( Deoxys), Sinnoh, and Unova, so please stop suggesting Ash is going to catch Mew. Mewtwo would never let that happen.

"You never know until you try. Go Pokeball". Dawn says through a Pokeball into a random Bush, she quickly rushes into the bush and finds her pokeball ding, signifying she caught a pokemon. Dawn picks up the Pokeball and in excitement, she can't help but shouts. "I DID IT! I CAUGHT A POKEMON"! As she shouts the rest of the group joins her

"What pokemon did you catch"? Ash asks excitedly to hear Dawn managed to catch her first pokemon.

"I don't know". Dawn says, causing the boys to fall over anime style.

"How do you not know that pokemon you caught"? Ash asks, unable to believe it.

"Well, Jessie said I could try throwing a Pokeball into a bush and catch a pokemon that way". Dawn says as the boys turn to Jessie with questioning voices on their faces. Jessie puts her hands up in surrender.

"In my defense, I was Joking, but the twerpet here took me literally". Jessie defends herself.

"So what did you catch Dawn"? Brock questions pulling their attention at the mystery pokemon in Dawn's Pokeball.

"Let's find out," Dawn says, throwing the Pokeball into the air to meet her new pokemon.

A bright light emerges from the Pokeball releasing the Pokemon from within that Dawn just caught. From the light comes a pink spherical Pokemon with two cat-like ears, this pokemon also has a pair of big blue eyes, and on its head it has a big curl of pink hair. But the most striking thing about this Pokemon was a very familiar item in its hand: a Marker with a big green cap making it appear to look like a microphone. While this is a new pokemon to Dawn to the rest of the group they are VERY familiar with this specific pokemon.

"Aww, you're so cute". Dawn says complimenting her new pokemon, unaware of the tenseness in her traveling companions at the sight of the pokemon before them. The new pokemon looks up at its new trainer in surprise.

"Jigglypuff"? It says looking around noticing some new and familiar faces. The now Identified Jigglypuff was just minding its own business looking for something to eat when something flew out of nowhere and hit it on its head, maybe these people will be able to listen to its song without falling asleep.

Being the first to snap out of his surprise Ash makes a tactical move and calls over his Noctowl.

"Noctowl Use hypnosis on Jigglypuff". Ash calls out as the flying type uses his powers to make Jigglypuff fall asleep, and make Dawn very mad at Ash for knocking out her new pokemon before she has a chance to get to know it.

"Hey what's the Big idea Ash, why did you put my New Pokemon to sleep as soon as it came out of its Pokeball"? Dawn demands to know as the rest of the group breaks out of their shock at seeing Jigglypuff again after such a long time.

"It's not what you think Dawn, we just have some history with Jigglypuff is all" Brock tries to explain, but it is quickly shut up by Dawn's death glare.

"Oh ya, what history could be so bad that you put an innocent pokemon to sleep just like that"? Dawn demands to know while Jessie snorts in the background and mumbles something about karma.

"Well you see Dawn it all started when"... Ash went on to explain their first meeting with the pink pokemon back in Kanto, where they helped it with a sore throat, and it later used it's singing to put an entire city to sleep before whipping out its marker and drawing on everyone's face for revenge. But before Ash could continue Dawn interrupted with a question.

"I don't get it, if you meet Jigglypuff in Kanto, then what's it doing here in Sinnoh"? She asks confused

"You see Dawn after our first meeting with Jigglypuff, it started following us around and sang it's song whenever it had the chance. But every time we fell asleep and wound up getting graffiti on our faces. Jigglypuff followed us through Kanto, the Orange Islands, Johto, and we saw it once in Hoenn. Haven't seen it since until today". Brock fills in the gaps for Dawn

"But why did Jigglypuff travel so far just to have people fall asleep wherever it sings"? Dawn asks, feeling sorry for the poor pokemon, surprisingly it was Meowth who answered this question.

"It's Jigglypuff's dream to be able to perform dit's song all the way through without anyone falling asleep midday through dit". Meowth explains having this talk with Jigglypuff in the past.

"I see". Dawn said mostly to herself before going over to Jigglypuff and shakes it awake, to talk to her new pokemon. Once awake Jigglepuff looks around confused.

"Puff". It asks looking around before locking eyes with the unfamiliar black haired blue-eyed girl.

"Hello my name is Dawn, and I'm your new pokemon trainer". The girl-Dawn introduces herself while holding out a hand.

"Jiggly". Jigglypuff says taking Dawns hand

"Jigglypuff my cousin Ash said you love performing your song in front of people, but have never been able to do that without them falling asleep right"? Dawn asks as Jiggly looks down sadly.

"Puff". Jigglypuff acknowledges this fact sad no one ever can listen to the whole thing without falling asleep.

"Well that's perfect you see I'm a pokemon Coordinator, and if we perform together then I'm sure we'll be able to get everyone to listen to your song all the way through". Dawn explains as Jigglypuff's eyes light up in excitement at the thought of performing with someone. And just like that for better or for worse a new partnership was formed, that is sure to make future contests very interesting. While her friends aren't so sure this will be a very good idea, but hey there's no way they can stop her.

Just another day on the road for the traveling group, Brock cooks the lunch for the humans, James, and Mewoth are getting the fire wood, Dawn and Jessie are practicing for their contest debut with limited success (thanks to Jigglypuffs singing), and Ash is working on preparing the food for the pokemon. But as Ash was finishing prepping the ingredients for the food he notices something wrong, there are not enough Pecha berries.

"Hey Brock, I don't have enough Peach Berries. I'll go look for some more". Ash calls out to his oldest human traveling companion, before departing with Riolu and Pikachu to find some more, while the rest of his pokemon stay behind and train amongst themselves.

After a while of searching the trio finally felt like they found enough Berries and then some(it never hurts to have extras with how much some of Ash's pokemon can eat). As they made their way back, Ash couldn't help notice a change in the weather. It's gotten sunnier all of a sudden. Stopping to think about this sudden change over real quick Ash realizes the cause for the sudden change in the weather. "This must be Sunny Day, that must mean there's a Pokemon nearby, and maybe it has a trainer we can battle against". Ash says excited at the thought of a battle, so the trio starts looking around for the source of the weather change.

Soon they stop at the sound of music and start to follow it to the source. At the source of the music is a green-clad male with long black hair covering one eye and in his hand a harp that resembles two Mew's playing. Right beside the man is a small Bud like pokemon that the Pokedex Identifies as Budew.

"Wow was that Sunny Day your guys doing"? Ash asks stepping forward making his presence known to the other. The other man stops playing his instrument and took notice of the new person in the clearing.

"Ahh yes it was, I was just training with my Budew here, the sunlight makes it's bud just glow in a beautiful light. Oh pardon me, my name is Nando". Now the name Nando says introducing himself.

"I'm Ash and this is Riolu and Pikachu, given what you just said about your Budew I'm guessing you're a coordinator"? Ash says as the two shake hands.

"No, I'm not a coordinator". Nando says shaking his head

"Then you're a trainer, getting ready for a gym then"? Ash corrects himself

"I'm not a gym challenger either". Nado says confusing Ash more.

"I don't get it if you're not a gym challenger or a coordinator. Then what are you"? Ash asks confused since there's no way this guy is a ranger with the way he dresses.

"I haven't decided yet, I love the beauty and Majesty of coordinators, but another part of me longs to win a pokemon league ". Nando admits, and Ash suddenly Understands what's happening, after all, most people just choose one or another to do. It's practically unheard of for people to do both.

"You could do what I do Nando, and just try both". Ash suggests, surprising Nando. Why hadn't he thought of that before?

"I hadn't thought about that before". Nando says thinking about it, soon the two are fighting Riolu vs Budew(later Roselia), and the two are departing now rivals in both contests and gyms.

The crew was finally having dinner after Ash comes back from berry collecting and tells the group about his encounter with Nando. As they finish cleaning up Dawn decides to ask everyone about something that's been bugging her.

"So how much longer until we reach Jubilife city"? Dawn asks missing hot water and a bed, not to mention she wants to shine in the contest already and win her first ribbon.

"At this rate, we'll be there by tomorrow night". Brock says making Dawn even more excited, as she daydreams about winning. suddenly a voice from behind her speaks

"You know it's not guaranteed you'll win the contest". Mewtwo tells her telepathically, startling the poor girl.

"GAH Mewtwo please don't startle me like that. Wait… did you just read my mind"? She demands to know since she knows she didn't say that out loud.

"I did, was I not supposed to"? Mewtwo asks not the best with human interactions. While Mewtwo himself has been on edge all day as if something bad was about to happen.

"NOOO! Reading minds is rude Mewtwo, do you always do that"? Dawn asks with a glare thinking very unladylike things.

"Only when bored, I stopped looking into Brock's mind after seeing him interact with a female". Mewtwo explains as if it explains everything. Though she doesn't blame him for not looking into Brock's mind anymore.

"Oh, whatever just don't do it again". Dawn grumbles hoping that Mewtwo gets what's coming to him for reading her mind without permission. Mewtwo shrugging off her glare goes back under a tree and starts to take a nap. That, however, is soon stopped when he hears something he hoped to never hear again.

" MEWMEW". A very familiar voice calls out from a distance, Mewtwo knew he had to act now, or else he'd never be free of her again. While the humans were trying to figure out the source of the voice, Mewtwo makes his way over to Ash, hoping his trainer can save him once again.

" Ash put me in my Pokeball Now". Mewtwo demands of his trainer, started by the request Ash has to ask.

"Why"?

"Because Mew found me, now please put me in the damn Ball". Mewtwo demands without saying a word Ash takes out the Pokeball and returns Mewtwo to it. As the group watches what happened in amusement, what Mewtwo said finally kicks in. Mew is coming here looking for Mewtwo, and from the sound of it, she's getting close. After about a minute of silence, Brock chuckles and has to ask.

"So how long until Mew gets he"- Before Brock can finish, a pink cat-like pokemon flys down, and makes itself known.

" Where's MewMew"? Mew demands to know flying in front of Ash. The groups look nervously at each other thinking of a way to protect Mewtwo from Mew(for everyone's sanity).

"Wha-what makes you think Mewtwo is here"? Ash asks nervously, despite finding the nickname kinda cute.

" Celebi told me he let you catch him, and is currently traveling with you". Mew explains, and they know there's no hiding it now. After all, there's no denying it if Mew got the intel from a time-traveling pokemon directly.

"Well Mewtwo is currently in his Pokeball right now, and really doesn't want to be disturbed". Ash says trying to create an excuse for Mewtwos' sake but still has the Pokeball in hand.

"Nonsense he'll be so happy to see me again". Mew insists tapping the button on the ball releasing Mewtwo from it's confines, as soon as the poor legendary is out of the ball he tries to make a break from the much smaller legendary pokemon. But Mew was having none of that and tackled Mewtwo to the ground in a hug making sure he can't escape again. As she was hugging her clone and bombarding him with questions, and reprimanding him for running away all the while for congratulating him for finally making friends. The humans on the other hand are just watching not sure what to do in this situation. After finally finishing her interrogation of Mewtwo, Mew turns her attention to the humans in the clearing.

"So what have you all been up to since I last saw you at the Tree of Beginning"? She asks as Ash and the gang fills her in on pretty much everything since then, and even informs her about the contest they're going to, and needless to say, Mew wants to come along to watch a contest in person. A thought everyone is concerned with.

"But Mew how could you possibly come with us, a legendary pokemon like yourself is sure to cause a lot of trouble. People will try to catch you the moment they see you, unless you let one of us catch you first that is". Ash explains, while Mewtwo still in Mew's grip(she is a deceptively strong Mon) looks horrified. Mew on the other hand just giggles at the thought.

"No catchie, besides none of you are what I want in a trainer". Mew explains causing them to fall over anime style.

"But Mew you'll be at risk of capture if someone doesn't catch you. Besides, what do you want in a trainer anyways"? Ash asks, confused that Mew has thought of this before.

"I want a trainer, who's smart, curious, respectful of nature, strong, has a thirst for nature, really nice, and shows no mercy in battle. And don't worry I can just transform into another pokemon like so". Mew says letting go of Mewtwo, and transforms into a spiky eared Pichu. "See like this no one will try to catch me while I look like this". Mew explains as the humans look at one another and sigh.

"I guess we have no choice, but let you come along with us". Ash says a mew cheers with joy, and Mewtwo looks terrified. For better or worse the group has a new temporary traveling companion, as they make their way to Jubilife city.

So last time someone did ask if there was going to be more contests in this story for Ash so he can get all 5 ribbons, and my answer is yes, I just need to think about where they will be located.
